  1. Oh snap. I can feel dat Die Rise trailer. :D
  2. Difficulty should never be the determining factor on whether you dislike or like a map. In fact, I feel a hard map has far more playability than an easy map. Literally anyone can train at Flopper on Ascension for 100 rounds. But 100 on Shang? Well, save for the G-Spawn, which seems to be a huge flaw for that map, it takes major skill for 100. Difficult maps encourage you to play smarter than you normally would. Green Run was pretty lame in my opinion for a multitude of reasons (atmosphere, fog, tediousness, deceptive advertising) but it was in no way difficult. I'm fairly certain I could get 100 very quickly using the Switch Method with the Jet Gun. Green Run is actually the easiest map, behind Ascension, in my opinion. Die Rise will challenge the fundamentals of Zombies, I think. It will be tough, but that is where us strategists thrive. It doesn't take a strategic master to come up with the Flopper strategy. But finding a fast, effective strategy in tight corridors? Well, that's a different story. Don't judge this map on a poster and a total of, what, 25 seconds of gameplay? Wait until an actual Die Rise trailer (doubtful) or until the map itself drops. Keep doing your thing and kill zombies. -Andrew
  3. Nope. You can go straight up godmode at will. It only works with walking/running zombies though—crawlers can hit you. A good way to deal with someone in this glitch is to chuck a few nades at him. ;)
  4. funniest thing ive read all day But no, really, that was bad.
  5. I know a cheater when I see one, Mr. Whiskey. Lauri is not one of those people. He streams all of his world records. :)
  6. LOL I doubt that he made it to 72 legit. "...and people accuse me of cheating to get to 51 on Kino, what a f**kin joke" -Whiskey You know who TheRelaxingEnd is, right?
  7. MMX has already accomplished everyone's goal with that thread. If there is a Zombies bible, that is it.
  8. Send me a PM with what you have a couple weeks after this, okay? I'll read what you have and I'll offer my suggestions. -Andrew
  9. 65 should be the round you hit 9999 kills on, if my memory serves me correctly. If you go over the kill cap, the round simply will not record on the leaderboard. Lame, I know... You cannot control how many zombies you kill per round. Excluding nukes, the only way to kill zombies on Survival is using a weapon. So, yeah. :)
  10. I learned it all from you!!! Where did your thread go??? I would have linked it but I couldn't find it Someone deleted it! I don't know how, but they must've been moving stuff and it got deleted in the process. :(
  11. Call of the Dead: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=24091 (Co Op) viewtopic.php?f=88&t=23948 (Solo) Shangri La: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=21065
  12. The cap is twelve. Also, feel free to run out with Claymores, but don't keep em out for too long. They have a habit of disappearing randomly in your hands. I love Claymores though, too. I understand why they put a cap on them (there were G-Spawn challenges in Black Ops in which players would stack as many Claymores as they could in attempt to overload the game as soon as they can) but I think they could've upped to at least 25 or 30. You only get framerate drop and G Spawn when you place 50+ on the map. Oh well. I like Claymores; in the words of MixMasterNut, they are 'ghetto Sallys'
  13. WHERE IS MY TRANZIT THREAD? I WENT INTO GREAT DETAIL ABOUT USING THE JET GUN CORRECTLY! IT WOULD HELP YOU IMMENSELY. (!!!) But no, really, Mr. Richtofen summed it up rather well. Using the Jet Gun this way is both fast and effective... and extremely fun. It takes practice, but you'll get used to it. I've been to round 78 and round 85 using it. :)
  14. You are a man amongst boys, Pinnaz. That is all.
  15. He's still tweeting... I think he's just lost interest in Black Ops 2 hahaha.
  16. It's basically a consensus amongst the high round players that Farm is THE place to be on Tranzit—excuse me, on Green Run. So, yeah, you should definitely stay there. And with the gate to the actual farm closed, it is lightning quick. I wish I had my solo guide to refer you to, but it's MIA as of now.
  17. That picture is a fake. However, the poster we got... that looks like Die Rise. There is no destroyed city on Green Run—no steel grating and pieces of desolated concrete strewn around. On Die Rise, however...
  18. I need brains back. I need them so bad. Because that post needed brains so bad. I guess this will do. I MEAN, DAMN, THAT WAS SO TRUE. The ranking is shit—if you have a busy schedule and you don't have time for video games during the week, then you'll get punished in game for it. It's just a sad money ploy by Activision, Treyarch, whoever to give you an incentive to keep playing and keep on giving your money—and your life—to the company. When Lamia was talking about Zombies back in May when the game was just announced, he said that Zombies was going to be bigger. He was, in fact, correct on two fronts: the actual in-game size, and the size of their profit. It's the man, man. I won't make time for Zombies during my schedule, and I'm completely fine with that. The ranking is superficial; it does not show true skill. Just keep doing your thing, people. Kill zombies, but don't sacrifice the important things for a ranking in a video game.
  19. You know what would be cool? If you could lead zombies down a shaft. Like, you're running, and you make the jump, and there will be zombies waiting on the other side, but the zombies can't make the jump so they fall and die. THAT WOULD BE THE BEST TRAP EVER.
  20. I have absolutely no clue why I have shotguns. K/D is 176 (33,304 kills to 189 downs). It's good, but it's not insane. 50 on Tranzit, 45 on Town, 42 on Nuketown.... and that's about it for recorded games. Do I think that's worthy of shotguns? No. But my advice? Just keep doing your thing. The ranking system is flawed and unreflective of actual skill, IMO. Don't worry about your rank—it will happen on its own. Just do your thing. :)
  21. Mmmm... tuna and bread and cheese. Yummy. Great analogy, my dude. Guys, I say just lay off. Not everyone has perfect grammar, and I honestly think you're making a real attempt at a well-written post. I could see what you were trying to say, but it's just that it's a little rough on the edges. But, like everyone said, this would be better suited in the official Die Rise reveal trailer or something, not its own thread. -Andrew
  22. I think it'll be funny too, or at the very least ironic. I loved how they put 'In the Jungle' for the Shangri-La trailer—that trailer is by far my favorite one for Zombies. I enjoy blood and gore and rock'n'roll, but I also appreciate humorous trailers. The Ascension trailer was a bit much, but besides that, I loved the Black Ops trailer. Princess of China by Coldplay for the Die Rise trailer? It would be unorthodox, but I would like it. I'm thinking the trailer itself will be coming out next Tuesday, by the way.
  23. You'll script error by then. I watched KingJaq get to round 142 or soo on the 360 & he did it. He finally got the Script Error & he was playing on Local Yeah I was watching that too. Steve got script errored on 119, DaThundergun on 133... it just goes on and on.
  24. You'll script error by then.
  25. Yep. That's why I suggest playing on local. What's the difference? I thought local does not count at all? Yeah it doesn't. But if you're going that high, you don't need to worry about the servers failing you. If you lag out on solo, the game ends if you're playing online. It doesn't do that on local.
