I wouldn't doubt that the easter egg has something to do with aliens. I also kinda hope Samantha makes some sort of physical appearence too.

Anyone else notice Richtofen sounds a LOT more insane? at 2:50, you can hear him laughing and saying "Bring me more!" Right as the infected teammate goes to attack. Also, notice how the "Porters X2 Zap Gun", the left gun shoots Ray Gun rays. Is that the actual model for the "Porters X2 Ray Gun?"

The gun drop theory would make sense, losing the weapon you earned. It's probably not replaceable when purchasing the box. Either that, or whatever you switch it for, good or bad, you risk losing it. Or very simply, don't go down with a good gun!

I'm surprised they didn't include the teddys in that anywhere. I would have figured if they have mystery boxes lying around, there would be a teddy laying around also. Or at least, a quick scene of a scientist studying one.

That's basically what I was curious about. If the suit Richtofen wears on Ascension was similar to the space suit. Either way, Richtofen was definitely up to something as some point, he wouldn't just wear one for shits and giggles...

I never paid much attention to the First Strike poster, but that guy holding the Thundergun strikes no resemblence to Richtofen whatsoever. Curious...

Space/Aliens/Area 51 All those, plus the re-addition of the gas zombies AND the cutscene at the end of the trailer just scream of; "OH herro, I'm a big stinky alien :D"

I figured they were the aliens talked about in Der Riese before Kino even was a map... but then some people insisted they were monkeys due to the containers everywhere showing monkey faces. If you ask me, the Ascension/Shangri La monkeys and the Cosmic Silverback both put debunk that theory.
