So our lads at Treyarch just tweeted a Zombies timeline after the reveal with JCbackfire: In that tweet, they provided an interactive DESKTOP-ONLY web page containing vital information, Keeper language, and an interesting map of how our crew traveled. There are so many different elements to look into with it, that I will keep updating this thread with all new pieces regarding the lore from each map, important events, and what the Keeper language translates to. Well folks, with the awe-inspiring release of the official timeline, a huge portion of my project has been rendered incorrect down to its very roots, and nearly everything will have to be re-written. I am actually glad this happened, as I have been looking for an excuse to re-write Book 1 to fit my more current writing style and to explore more events. With the new content revealed in the timeline I have plenty to work with, and also having dates for EVERYTHING is SUPER helpful and I want to hug Jason Blundell for that. Because this timeline is so to-the-point and thorough, my storybook has become antiquated as a teaching tool for newer members of the community, and so I will focus my writing more on making a narrative as opposed to trying to connect a bunch of misplaced dots, which this timeline has done so perfectly for me. So what about all the work that exists currently? Well, maybe it's the hoarder in me, but I'd like to keep it around just to look back at. Here is the original versions of Book 1, Book 2, and Tales from the Multiverse. These will remain untouched. In Tales I have added the small outline of events I had noted down that I wanted to do with Chapter 5: Containment, and Chapter 4 was actually finished and ready to be released. But with the characters actually surviving in this timeline, I have to scrap what was left. I should begin outlining the second version of Book 1 sometime soon. However, I will be wary of the likelihood of even more mind-blowing information to come in the remakes present in Zombies Chronicles. Anyway, thanks for the support everyone. This is a new dawn for the storybook. The road is long and dark, but I know where we are going.

Literally 4 days later. Good going Maxis. Another example of what a bad dad you hahah. This one bothers me a little, maybe I'm not thinking right. Buried is 3 weeks earlier. Maxis gains full power. It says Samantha is drawn into Agartha (meaning she wasn't there before) and she leaves for Origins. Why does it take 3 weeks for Maxis to destroy Earth? Coincidentally the same day Victus leave the Earth. Does Maxis know she's left and he did that in rage? Or perhaps because of his corruption? I hope we see this Maxis again, maybe as an Apothicon. Is it said what this is hinting at? Scavenger? But no, Yena made that and he got drafted by the Soviets. Can't be the Thundergun. Maybe the original Sliquifier? That's kinda a poor explanation. Ya just find one randomly in Berlin? Although Ascension does take place a month later so I they could've headed that way. Interesting, remember how that new Nuketown screen had Schuster's name? I guess Nuketown must've been a previous place for getting the 115, and Broken Arrow thought hey there might still be some there. This is pretty big, pretty much a war between the two and the zombies killed everyone else. And explains the decades/getting use to the Aether quote from them both. God I honestly can't believe we have a timeline now. So good!

This legitimately brings a tear to my eye. I've been on this forum since the WaW days, and to see the full timeline is just so incredible. I can't wait to read the PDF and see how close we were, what we got right, what we got wrong, etc.

I've come back here after months to say: HA, in your face people who didn't think Dempsey was one of the marines we played as in Verruckt! But seriously, this thing is a treasure to anyone who has stuck around since WaW. So glad they finally did it.

I'm glad you don't mind the fact that pretty some stuff has to be changed. I look forward to new(ly updated) chapters, Rad. If you've updated something, just let me know

Well, what a pleasant surprise. A bit late, but pleasant. First of all, big thanks to the MVPs, all you CODZ Scribes from the AotK. You know who you are. Heh heh. With @Hells Warrrior, I'm interested to know what the origins of this storyline are. Gotta say, I'm disappointed by the use of souls to power the MPD, but I'm hyped to recieve confirmation of my post-Revelations "One Soul, many duplicate persons" theory, that Yena is the Pentegon Theif, arriving via Gersch device, the idea that I and a number of others stubbornly defended regarding the date of Moon/Nuketown, the causation of Buried as a consequence of the Moon rockets, and the total lack of any mention of the "Ancient Evil" as a proper noun. Good stuff, Treyarch. Actually kind of makes sense...except for the attempted explanation of Ultimis' arrival at CotD, which was clearly by teleporter, not portal. But whatever. lol

It has a lot of stuff connecting the maps that we didn't have before. Like for example, the crew went to Shi No Numa to get Richtofen's diary. Richtofen began his plan once he got his diary and then went to Der Riese. He wanted to teleport to the Moon but it got overloaded and was sent forward in time to Kino, dropping his diary. This same diary was picked up by the Soviets which is the same diary Yuri had. Just a lot of explanations.

I wouldn't mind if we could get a thread going that linked to what has been correctly theorized. In regards to one thing though, I honestly think that Arthur (Big Guy) in the DE painting was just put there due to the theory. I definitely believed it. But then I just started seeing a woman character, much like that Blue/White dress scenario.

I wrapped the entire thing up in a handy PDF for anybody to download if they wish. Sorry for the massive gap before the Dimension 63 section, Word's just being funny. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7xfcqw1iw2no0xj/The Complete Zombies Story.pdf?dl=0

MMX, just lettin you know, Treyarch released a complete timeline explaining but just everything. You're gonna have to fix a lot of things. Just to give you a few things we've found out, Yuri is the Pentagon Thief, Maxis got teleported to the Crazy Place, and a lot of other stuff. You should take a look at it.

Broken Arrow created the Denizens, the Avogadro by accident, were the ones using the drill on Nuketown which caused the bomb to go off. Victis (the N4) are really being hunted by Undead Richtofen in the comic books Nuketown takes place in 2025 confirmed Events of BO2 The Flesh, along with the group that aided Maxis, were all killed by Zombies except for Stuhlinger, who escaped. He bumped into Russman who stole the BO2 Bus from a Broken Arrow facility The Sloth's actually name is "Arthur" Maxis' Endgame is canon. By the end of Buried, he has become corrupted by the Dark Aether, and after putting Richtofen's soul in a Zombie, he pulls Samantha into Agartha. Samantha then, after witnissing her father's evil, contacts the version of her father that's in the Origins timeline. Meanwhile, Richtofen instructs Undead Richtofen to pursue the N4 and collect their blood vials Sometime later, Maxis kills everybody still left on the earth. Ouch.
