Yes, it can. I placed a B23R in the TranZit fridge and ended the game and went on Die Rise. When I went to the fridge on Die Rise, my B23R was waiting for me, the exact same way I left it.

The time period is most likely late 1800's - early 1900's. The timing of the map itself most likely will be after Die Rise.

Good theory, but Buried doesn't look like a place where computers are found. Then again, it's zombies so anything can and will happen.

I think all the map packs are named after the events from the campaign. Revolution: Menendez's group causing one. Uprising: Menendez's group growing stronger Vengeance: David Mason wants Vengeance after learning what happened to his dad. As far as I know, none of the map pack names relate to the zombies in any way. Excluding Rezurection. Of course.

Yes there IS a fridge and bank on Die Rise. It was added in the Xbox update, yesterday. I'm not sure if PS3 players have had a similar update though.

I hope they carry over from Die Rise/TranZit because I spent today preparing myself for Buried by putting at least 17,000 points in the bank with a PAP'd Remington.

Possibly the same way it did with Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. I agree that the zombies look more funny than scary. It kinda reminded me of Dead Rising 2 for a second. Mob of the Dead had some pretty good zombie models though, not funny and looking menacing. Part of me thinks that this'll be one of the best map to date but the other part of me is thinking "Ehh...." because it's kind of weird why we never heard/learnt what the N4 were doing during the events of MOTD. In COTD we knew what happened to the O4 and why we weren't playing as them and it's importance to the zombies storyline. I hope Buried fills us in on that info.

Die Rise had "NEW" on the right side of the globe when Revolution came out. It's possible there is a different map in another country.

The fridge and bank are still available on Die Rise. Methinks the Fridge and the Bank aren't in MOTD because the money and the weapons are supposed to be for the new crew.

I don't know if any of you noticed this, but if you rip all the frames or watch it in super slow motion, the in the scene with Misty in the courtroom the paintings behind her move. This I feel is going to be one of the weirdest maps to date. Ghosts and non playable allies. Also before anyone claims the ghost is Samantha [As I've noticed a lot on Official CoD forums/ Trailers] it is most likely NOT her. The reasons are: The face looks nothing like her. Just because they wore similar dresses don't make them the same person. [Plus, from I've seen, Samantha's dress is knee length while this ghosts appears to be full length.] Her body is still on the Moon, in the MPD. You could give the argument that it's her soul however. Plus, if it is her, why would she harass the new crew. She probably doesn't even know they exist. [Though she may know of Marlton on Nuketown]But even then, she wouldn't know where they are now. But hey, at least in this map we are getting COD: Ghosts. :P

Maybe all those theories and rumors about the new map being underground were true....

As someone else said, the place in the docks where you obtain the plane part. I once had to get the part, Round 7 [Low I know] but while I was in there, everyone got downed and Brutus spawned inside that really small area. Zombies climbing North, South, East and West along with Brutus. Real hard. Made Round 7 feel like it was Round 50.
