  1. I've never really been in a game when people buy QR, however I find that if you are the only person left on your team EMP'ing Jugg is a great way to say 'if I go down, you're all coming with me' Sometimes I win this way by surviving when they don't realise they've lost it. If you get down, most of the time they do to and the round restarts at least.
  2. HE FROZE ME HE FROZE ME HE FROZE ME he froze that guy too. Made me laugh. This is probably the quickest I've got bored of a CoD game
  3. I don't really want to play this game's multiplayer any more, time playing it is time wasted that could be better spent playing a different multiplayer or even better, a different game completely. It's cunning of treyarch to put in things like this though that make sure people will keep playing.
  4. So in BO3, which map do you think they'll shove zombies into?
  5. Personally, I don't think there is a certain strategy required. There are always different kinds of player, and a good team will have a combination of these, for example the reviver, the person who gets good guns and can hold his own if the rest of the team gets downed, the griefer who gets emps and knifes enemies to stop them reviving. Personally, I am a reviver. I hate people who don't revive at all though, those are just bad players.
  6. I personally think it's just for setting the scene and atmosphere. 3Arc seem to have done this much more in this game, trying to create that beloved immersion.
  7. Hidden? Didn't people know about this like a few days after the release? I heard about it at max a week after. I aimed for a little bit to get it for the shield/knife etc combo but the shield is useless.
  8. 1. Jug obviously, even though it's so boring 2. Double Tap 2, because it saves so much ammo and it's really fun 3. Speed Cola, for more killings!
  9. On PINNAZ's picture post, the picture that is 5th and 6th down appears multiple times in the map in different locations. Is this meant to mean something or is Treyarch being lazy? Normally I'd assume the first one, but then 3Arch released Black Ops II.
  10. I think anything to do with the lights, be it from the box or laundromat or whatever, is just Treyarch being lazy or trying to create an atmosphere. Since some players play with lower lighting settings, I don't think they would do that (for example on my TV's brightness I can't ever see the box light, really a pain sometimes)
  11. LSAT from that list. From the vote, RPK as I found the old wunderweapons spoilt the game a tad. However my favourite weapon is MTAR, I prefer Assault Rifles naturally. It would be the Type 25 but that thing has no-where near enough ammo.
  12. I agree that the titles from the DLC are always related to the campaign, which is ironic as there is no new campaign material ever [i would die for some new Strike Force missions] I reckon that the last DLC will be more zombies themed like BO1 as that far from release most of the multiplayer crowd are getting bored.
  13. I had this, have it in games like Crysis and stuff when the graphics just try to be too good. Quite painful to play. Found it easier in Strike Force missions though.
  14. This may be me, but I think with multiple people he takes longer to return. I have noticed that when playing with my friend and we're in different locations, it usually takes a few rounds after the storm for him to appear, unlike in Solo when it takes about half a round. This is probably due to his pathfinding being confused at two people who are more or less equidistant away I find, but hope this helps :)
  15. At least once, you kidding? At least once a day! An easier fix is just to leave zombies and go into the multiplayer or campaign menus, and then return. The audio works fine. It's just kinda shitty when you're at a high round.
  16. I hear you, there are so many people like this that they'll sell better if they allow tactics like this. Black Ops 1 was the only game I've ever played that I enjoyed competitive multiplayer- Hell, it's probably my favourite FPS. I really thought that this game would be the same since being by Treyarch. I guess they are motivated by the same thing as IW- money, and creating a larger target audience. It's cool that they've changed some things around and added some things in, but they've added in too many cheap exploits like the SMG penetration and 1-hit snipers, it just isn't a fun game.
  17. I don't think GPS has anything to do with the driver. GPS works using trilateration from satellites, and I doubt there are many satellites after the bombardment of earth That's interesting. Someone should try getting to high rounds only killing zombise on the bus, see if that affects anything
  18. Ok apparently it's called Revolution, and for BO1 we had F-E-A-R, so does anyone wanna make any guesses on what word will be spelled out with the BO2 DLC? We know it is 4 letters and the first one is R...
  19. If they do Der Reise for a 3rd game, I might burn my disc. Related: I don't think that 'Grind' sounds like a name that would be used for a map, it just doesn't sound like one. And in the picture someone is running up like a 40 degree slope, doesn't look real. Hydro looks believable I guess. Why is DIE highlighted in the image? I'm not buying this. Don't know why.
  20. Hasn't this happened on any CoD game in recent years? Scratch that, on loads of FPS games? It's happening to me on FC3 this second, and I seem to remember it from Mass Effect 3 too. I think it's just used to imply that the person is taking damage, hearing is going, concussed etc.
  21. It can hack bouncing betties as they are being thrown at you, with fast hands it's a lifesaver. Btw I don't think it has unlimited range, I find it hard to use unless I am near (and regardless of walls)
  22. I hate to break it to you but people have blue eyes too, so a robot built like one would be fine with the blue eyes. I think the bus driver was modelled on someone, maybe from pop culture or the CoD canon- down to his personality as being laid back. Also the bus driver in my eyes confirms Green Run is 2025 (if this was disputed) since they don't exactly have robots piloting buses nowadays. I think he was only included to spice up travelling times, as you know when left with one zombie travelling the whole map for a perk or something is hell depressing. Maybe he'll have something to do with an easter egg in the future, but I doubt it.
  23. I think Nacht was just a fond nostalgia trip on the part of the people who made Green Run. Either that or to encourage people to explore the map more, if one map is hidden what about the others?
  24. I hadn't seen element 115 discussed with regards to the new black op game, and I think that we need to redefine what we think of it for several reasons- 1. Centre of Disease Control (and prevention) and their role in the game. 2. The mass infection of earth. 3. The CIA's vested interests in zombies. 4. The relative of meteors in Green Run and Nuketown 5. Need for a new storytelling device 1. I guess the CDC is an organisation which could easily be demonised, a sort-of Umbrella Corporation for CoD. What I thought was, if they are controlling against disease why are they fighting and presumably researching a plague caused by a rock? Maybe this is because element 115 is no longer soley down to the meteors made of the stuff, and maybe the rocket attack or just time has turned it into a disease 2. Links into 4, but there is no way enough meteors could fall to earth to turn the majority of the population into zombies. The only way that I can think of is a disease, maybe in the traditional Zombie-plague sense of bitey-bitey, but possibly airbourne as (I can only guess) it would take a long time for a disease like that to be distributed through the world through contact, not to mention the resistance armed forces would put up. Of course there would be those that survive, or there would be no protagonists. 3. The CIA's own X-files? What would the CIA want with zombies? You could say they want the extermination to save the people, which would be valid if there were any people to save. It seems to me that they are at loggerheads with the CDC, implying that they want the same thing. This makes me believe that they have the same interests as CDC in finding and either controlling or destroying the source of the disease. *MINI-THEORY* I also believe that since the CIA are in black suits, which are deemed in popular culture as 'cool' and the CDC are in huge hazmat suits which look pretty stupid, us as the players are meant to sympathise with the CIA more *THEORY OVER* 4. I know Green Run is pretty bashed up, but that's down to the fact it got demolished by a cluster of missiles. While exploring, I found a relatively few amount of things which I could definatley identify as element 115 meteors such as those found in Kino and SNN. This makes me feel that petty meteors could not do this to the countless zombies, and something must have happened. That added to the fact that Green Run is supposedly close to Washington, which holds over 6 million people according to wikipedia. 5. It is my belief that Treyarch is pulling the plot out of their arse so this contradicts that belief. If the zombies storyline is ever going to get round to combating the cause of the zombies, element 115 is not going to be a great opponent as there is no obvious cause of it or cure. Having a disease would be useful as it would be a more targetable foe and the CDC would be included as a place to research it and create a cure. Nature of Disease -Transmission There is no water near Green Run, especially not after the missiles, so I assume it isn't waterborne, and no animals or plants suggests that they couldn't be the medium either We know from experience that it isn't through traditional touch the zombies are created, as we get hit loads during playtime. This is why I think it is airborne, because as I said this would be faster, and the fog would be an easy way of distributing the plague. Maybe E115 dust? -Symptoms I won't insult your intelligence -Cure Well, that would be a zombies storyline plot I would actually invest in Thank you for reading- I plan to expand this but due to the relatively low inclusion of the two teams means I have little to work on. Maybe DLC will expand this knowledge. If anyone wants to add, that will be great, thanks ~Tom
  25. Hi I've been having a problem frequently on zombies (and occasionally multiplayer) where all the audio is replaced with this annoying beeping (I'm not too sure how to describe it) and the only fix is to go onto another menu like campaign or multiplayer and then return. Obviously having no audio is a real problem and I wondered if anyone else was having this problem, and if there was any easy fix? I'm a PS3 user, if that helps. Thanks
