  1. I say paris. The tower in the back.....its just to similar. I mean i guess some could look like that but honestly. Paris is a much wanted fan map and now would be the best time to take a crackshot at it. And I know this will sound seriously unbelieaveable, but i have heard a quote misty says "I wonder what its like in Paris now a days...Probably burned...." +1 for paris! whose with me?
  2. I just want a map like mob of the dead. I know this "ben" character is really not the best source but I have seen his videos. I very much do hope the last DLc is made by the creators of MOTD. For me, MOTD truly was an innovative masterpiece. Ascension was big, Call of the dead was big and innovative, Shangri la was a pain in the A*s, and Moon really reused elements. I want map pack 4 to be the most diverse map ever. I want the tight spaces of Shangri la. I want the big boss zombies (not George but like Astronaut or Brutus). I want cool new zombie variations. I want a big map BUT ACTUALLY FILLED WITH STUFF (looking at you Tranzit). I want new game modes. I want little secrets to tell some story not shoving it all at the main easter egg. I want an awesome easter egg that will actually have an effect in the storyline. Mob of the Dead delivered. I loved it. I know better then to hope for all of this but if they can reproduce the same quality as Mob of the Dead, I am willing to take this journey to the end.
  3. Hello fellow CODZ members! I am back with another song analysis. I know this may have been done before but I wanted to add somethings now that we have discovered more about this map and the connections it has. So without further ado, here is the lyrics to "Where are We Going" By Malukah (and I think Kevin Sherwood?) Where we going From here Where do we go Are we all blinded by fear How do we know How do we know Where do we go Where do we go How do we know Where do we go Where are we going From here How do we know Where do we go Where are we going From here Do we let go of all we know Are we all blinded by fear Where do we go when we let go I feel I'm falling from here Don't let me go Is it the calling We hear We hear How do we know. Alright. So let's break it down Where do we go/ how do we know -This is reiterated about a million times (its practically the only lyrics). The Question is Why? This is most likely connected to the story. The fate of our Original 4 is that they are on the moon dead or alive. The New 4 have activated 2 tower signals and, as far as we know, are still at Die Rise. In MOTD, we get a SEEMINGLY seperate storyline. However, many fellow loyal conspiracy theorists have broken down the veil and have revealed that Alcatraz is a manifestation of Hell. It is it's own story. Because of that, we don't really know how it affects the main story. But we will know soon. Are we all blinded by fear? -There seems nothing strange here...OH WAIT. If you all remember correctly, FEAR was the Anacronym (I think thats the right word) for the 4 map packs of Black ops 1. Everone was obessed with this. Even know, people are like "OMGZ It is FEAR RUSS!" or "OMGZZ It is FEAR RUIN!". I think what this line here is saying is that we should really stop looking at it as FEAR RU_ _. This is not the main point of the map packs. We should stop looking at it. -Second, There was a message on one of the lyric videos (I think it was Where are We Going, Not sure). When decoded, I believe it went along something like "Let go and the beginning will become the end (Thank you to Rissole25 for this data). Again, we get some sort of reference to the beginning, that being possibly the FEAR map packs. Something about the past will come back to haunt us unless we let it go. I feel like im falling from here. -Yea....not much here again...BUT WAIT. This seems odd to me. So here we are asking where do we go etc etc. However, if someone is falling, there is only one place to land: the ground. But thats not the point. What is "here"? And how are they falling? WHY are the falling? Don't let me go -Okay so now we "Should not let something go". What is it? What is this..thing, person, theory, that we should not let go? Perhaps there is some piece of knowledge we have seen but not really examined well....LIGHTBULB. The Navcards. Perhaps this is a reference to something that needs to be done with these? Is it the calling? / We Hear, We hear -This is by far one of the most interesting pieces. What is this "calling"? Well, I theorize that it has something to do with the Voices. Either we can listen to the calling of MAxis or Richtofen. "We hear, we hear" is our response to their calling. So far this is all i've got. Please discuss and let me knwo your thoughts!
  4. During my "suicide games" (games where i get bored and just do whatever) when i go down on GG bridge, I take the chair back to the island. the first thing i go for is Cherry. Combined with the VW, i can simply shoot another way AND shock zombies around me. Golden Spork helps too. I go through the showers to the tunnels (double tap), down to docks (Jugg), back to gondola take it up, drop off the ledge, go to wardens (Speed) and then shoot some VW at the walls. Its an amazing combo. It has helped me in serious times. Myround 52 game (which got cut cause of a blackout  ) was not possible without this combo.
  5. I really don't think it will be over anytime soon. Or ever. A dedicated Community + A dedicated Gaming company + $$$ = Cash Cow They won't stop milking this. There are so many unique locations we havent been to yet. Aether, Castles, Underwater, PARIS, Famous places in history, ETC ETC. Dont worry about an end. Just enjoy the present because in a few months, no more zombie maps till next year =(
  6. So many of us have been playing Zombies (can't call it "nazi" anymore ) since World at War, others since BO 1. But everyone from BO 1 and back has kept up with zombies, continually buying dlc after dlc. So my question is: Why? Why COD zombies? What is the difference between a regular zombie game and COD zombies? For me, it is the hidden storyline theorizing and wonder weapons. I love that, as a community, we find these awesome theories to suit the facts we are given. Treyarch knows this and has played off it a long time. I really dont think that this was intended to go this far. But due to community effort and love, this game was given a storyline. Also, we find the story through oberservation, NOT actual gameplay...beside the sidequests / easter egg. Wonder weapons for me are VERY exciting. They make each map unique. I peronally love wonder weapons. I dont whore the box for them when i play multiplayer, but i do get a little pain when i see someone else get it  . But still, for me, they truly make COD zombies stand out from other games.
  7. Actually. IF you want to get to a high round WITHOUT traps, you no longer have an excuse because: HELLS REDEEMER IS A 1 HIT KILL UP TO 71 (or so ive heard) Thus, you cannot argue anymore that it is impossible to get kills at high roudns without traps. I think that nips this in the bud. True it takes some time but hey, if your gonna get to 50+ you already have too much (like me... )
  8. Heh. You want my honest opinion? Traps are stupid. They take away from the fun. They take away from my kill count. AND they block off escape routes (cafeteria, wardens) Seriously, useless to me. I run good old fashioned trains. IF you want some scary in-a-corner-epic-get-away i can put up a few videos of some. But i agree Traps are nice in grief. But thats it.
  9. Art of ___________ Art of WAR by Sun Tzu. hmmm. Possibly.
  10. I didnt read everything but let me give ya a tip. SOMETIMES, you can actually dodge a zombie slap. OF COURSE, you should REALLY be using knife unless rounds 1-3 but if you want to get the last 2 knifes in quickly, simply knife the zombie, duck immediately, and stand up slice. I ADVISE YOU PRACTICE. Timing is crucial. Last i checked, this was still possible. Realyl helped me :D
  11. So many to choose.... I really love Shangri la. Great small quarters map with a BA wonderweapon. Moon was really epic. Easter egg is probably one of the best IMO. Several differen t aspects from all maps added into 1 epic finale. Die rise also became one of my favorites. It is my new "Ascension" so to say. Easy to play, great atmosphere, REALLY crappy marketing . Unfortunately, my heart goes to the brand new Mob of the Dead. Really. This map has just about everything i wanted. New enemies, new weapons, new layout, new traps, AWESOME NEW WONDERWEAPON (IMO). Great size for trains, works fine with 4 players, and grief is just as cool. MOTD may very well be my new all-time favorite. I know its new and I have spent maybe 2 weeks on it but really. I am loving it. I try to play everyday. Im always doing side quests. For me and many others, Mob Of the Dead is probably the most well thought out maps of all time. Moon was inovation, Tranzit was inovative, and Die Rise was secrety, but MOTD is giving some awesome chills and some spine tingling moments. Winner (Yes i will say it again): MOB OF THE DEAD :D
  12. So by now most of us have used this awesome new addition to the wonder weapon arsenal. However, I have heard many mixed reviews. Some people say its awesome while others believe it is merely a regular shotgun with some extra firepower. So let's put it to rest. Here is the official review of it from my side and a poll for all ya'll who like them. Blundergat Anility: Fires multiple shotgun blasts that can go through enemies. Carries one shot and 60 in reserve. Cost to get: 950 (box), Free (skull easter egg) Rarity: 1 of 18 (box), 1 out of 1 (skull easter egg) People who can use it: 1-2 (one from box, one from easter egg) Upgrades: Acid Gat, The Sweeper, Vitrolic Withering (acid gat + PAP) Upgraded abilities: -Acid Gat: attracts zombies, 3 shots per reload. Explosion can kill all zombies on earlier rounds. Later rounds either create crawlers or is complete ineffecient (around round 20 or so.) -Sweeper: 2 shots in the mag and about 120 shots in reserve. Can kill multiple zombies and is extremely powerful and clearing paths well (confirmed one hit on round 30) -Vitrolic Withering: Same as Acid gat but there is a longer time before explosion and attracts more zombies. Useful until round 23 +/- but can take up to 2 fires to kill zombies. Tips: -Use the Vitrolic as a means to get Golden Spork. Then try to get the sweeper by one of the 2 methods. -Use sweeper to clear paths. -Upgrade around 15 or so. -Use Vitrolic more as a "get out" card. If you are cornered, try to shoot away from you. -If you want make it explode faster, kill the zombie it is attached too. This explodes the acid quickly. -Makes crawlers on first shot at round 23 or so. So my final review: For its price and chance of getting it, it is pretty reliable. I personally love it. It is useful to me in the early round for getting through the tight corridors when my other weapons take a longer time to kill a zombie in front of me. The upgraded versions are decent in the mid rounds but can be compeltely useless in killing zombies on higher rounds. The desgin is epic and there is kinda a small backstory to it. It is not overpowered and gives a nice challenge later on. In my professional opinion, this is one of the better, albeit weaker, wonder weapons. It is powerful when used right. It is not overpowered and it gives a really nice challenge to this map.
  13. Its perfect. It is hard to start, medium on the 15-20s then it gets hard on 30+. This is my favorite map so far. IVe conquered maps before and lost interest but ive been to round 38 on this map and im still lovin it. Again, hard to start out, easy at the middle, hard at the end. PS: BLUNDERGAT IS BEST WEAPON (BEST PONY: RAINBOW DASH \(O.O\) ).
  14. Okay i think i know the problem. From the way I saw it, i think it is likey the lamp post behind the lamp post. Again not sure. Dont worry, your not the only one.
  15. Please do watch the language. No need to call other players "trash". They are simply not as skilled as you or some of us. I have survived round 37 with no just on MOTD on the GG bridge. I was bored and i didnt wanna play anymore so i decided i would go down on 36. so i did but i had afterlife. I continued through round 37 not dying once. So yea, i complete a round 38 with no jugg, My highest never having it is round 18 on Nuketown. Pissed me off to high hell.
  16. Golden sporks. What will they think of next I personally love it. My personal theory is: Fuck it. It's a one hit kill. It is a BADASS side quest. Its free. It is a different reward from what we are used to. Honestly. Lets just say it exists. Whateva. All i can say is Thank you Treyarch! You have restored my faith in you.
  17. Heres my take on it when it was first released. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24414&p=235012#p235012
  18. Anyone else have some music? I loved Skillet Hero but i need MOARRRRRR
  19. Hi everyone! I am here to give a good, high round guide. Depending on your skill level, this is bound to change. I will most several different ways to go about playing this map. Right off the back, I am going to say that this map does take dedication on the earlier rounds. Starting out is definately NOT easy. Due to close quarters combat and the immense spacing between locations and weapons, I STRONGLY suggest playing the may on EASY first. Nothing to be ashamed about; I have always done it for every new map and I am a lot better at knowing the map thanks to it. NOTE: IF you use this guide, I hope you at least know how to use afterlife and know the map. I WILL NOT EXPLAIN IT! Quick game: best way to maximize your 30 minutes to 1 hour games. Solo: -Round 1-3: Farm points in the spawn room. Remember that there is a 2x points inside the jail cell. Finish the first round using only knife. This will give a maximum of 780 points (130 x 6). On round 2, use the double points. Why wait? Becasue (1) you can put a full mag into the zombies and (2) is safer and (3) more effective than using a knife. Not too mention, if you are going to use ammo anyway, double the points! Round 3: Either grab the M14 or open the door next to it and grab the MP5 in the area below. Opening the door should lead you the cafeteria area. If the Warden's key is there and the round is nearly over, go get it and open the showers. Depending on your points, if you have over 3k (which is possible) open the the cafeteria. Feel free to use the box: your game may not last long, best to have fun! -Round 4-6: Try to get a crawler sometime and stack up around 5k points. Go to the Gondola. Take it down to jug and start feeding the dog. Grab the Tommy if you can affor it. Grab the part as well. This may take you to round 6 right away. -Round 7-10: Try to get around 10k points if you can or close. By round 8 or the end of it, leave for the citadel tunnels via the door next to the wolf. In the next room, use an afterlife to shock the systems to open the Warden's Private room with the part. When done, continue to make headway for the citadel stairs. Do the numbers puzzle and grab the piece WHEN SAFE. It may be round 9 or near the end or round 10. Go to the warden's office via opening the doors in the citadel tunnels. Open the Wardens office and if the box is in there, have fun! Grab the piece when done. -Round 11+: Alright. This is where you check the time. Probably been 20-30 minutes depending on your speed. From here, it is your game. You can: *Grab the rest of the pieces. Survive on GG until dead. *Try to survive in the cafeteria and have fun with the box. *Attempt the Side Quests (Blundergat, Golden Spork, Hell's Retriever) REMEMBER: This is a guide for NORMAL SOLO games AND for people who have places to be and want a nice, stress-less game. High-Round games: Best way to survive the unending hoards and earn your bragging rights. Solo: Round 1-15: Follow the Guick-game guide. It is still a good starter. However, make sure to get as many parts as you can (the docks, staircase, warden's office, showers). Also, you probably dont want to hump the box too many times. However, get a good weapon that will last a long time (Galil, AK, Tommy). If you can get a Blundergat, wonderful. Try not to take the LSAT or Death Machine. Too bulky, but the option is yours. Finish the Hellhounds and get the retriever. Grab as many perks as possible. Make your way to the roof and apply the parts. Work fast enough and this may be done by round 11. If not, pick up speed. Dont want to have to leave a high-round game just because you take too long. So now, this should be the ideal set-up by round 14-15: -Most of the map open -One power weapon and one farming weapon. -Plane built -Juggernog and possibly a side perk or more of your choice. (Jugg, Double tap, Speed Cola, and Electric Cherry is most ideal; ill explain later on.) -Decent points -Zombie Shield (if you want) Round 16-18: Stay on the bridge and survive. It is easy to run laps and your Tomahawk is an easy 1 hit until 18. When 18 is complete or you finish PAP, leave. Round 17 OPTIONAL: I HIGHLY recommend this part but it is up to you. Simply get a blundergat through the box or skulls (this is why you got the Tomahawk) (if you dont know this side quest, look for a guide) upgrade to acid gat. Then, go for the Golden Spork (again, look for a guide). Finally, attempt to get Hells Redeemer (Look for a guide). So why all this? -With the Acid Gat, you can get some easy kills and clear crowds. Also neccessary for the Golden Spork. -With the Golden Spork, you can"Dig" (joke joke) your way out of messes if you are caught in a one way tunnel. It is also a one hit kill untill 34. -With the Hell's Redeemer, you can get 1 hit kills untill....well...as high as you want. (confirmed kills on round 72) Round 17-20: If you decided to skip the optional steps, your next move is to run circles on the roof or Cafeteria. Try to hump the box for the best guns. I advise: Raygun (USE WITH CAUTION), Executioner (Upgraded), Blundergat (Sweeper, Acid Gat, Vitrolic: Whatever Floats your boat.). Basically any weapons that you know, for sure, can get you out of a corner when neccessary. Round 20+: Try to collect the gas cans often. Travel to the GG bridge when you can or want and stay 2 rounds there. It has great room for training. Best set up: -1 power weapon + 1 farm weapon (Sweeper (or Vitrolic) + Machine gun) OR 2 power weapons (Raygun + Sweeper, Raygun + Voice of Justice OR Sweeper, Raygun + Voice of Justice, Or 2 Blundergats (throught the skulls; Vitrolic and Sweeper are best for these high rounds) OR Weapons you have used in the past and know how to use. -Golden Spork (good to round 34) -Hells Redeemer (Good to Round ___) -3 Afterlifes -Juggernog, Speed cola, Electric cherry (good when stuck; useful when you have speed cola for a never ending barrage or bullets) and Double tap (Damage) So for instance: Round 20 - go to GG bridge, do your stuff, Leave 22. Comeback maybe 30 or whenever you want, do your stuff, leave 32. ETC ETC. I have personally used this to round 34. It works well and does not require too much luck. Co-op guide: Round 1-20: Follow the Solo guide but now, you should stick together to get all the parts. The layout is basically the same. There really aren't many differences except now there is more zombies. By 20, the best set up is: -EVeryone has all the perks they want. -Everyone has a place to camp. I recommend Docks, Wardens room, Cafeteria, and Roof. Depending on the amount of players, set it up so that the person with the best guns is in warden, second in docks, third in Cafeteria, and 4th on the roof. Also, depending on amount of players, use: 2 player: Cafeteria and Roof; 3 player: Docks + other 2; 4 player: Warden's Room + other 3. -DO NOT USE VITROLIC. The attraction may mess up people's circles. -There is a power player (Warden's), Medic (Cafeteria), back-up (Docks) and the hoarder (Roof). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Overall, it isn't difficult once you learn the ins and outs. The hardest time you will have is the beginning. When that's finished, the rest is smooth sailing. Remember to watchout for the Boss (or Warden or Brutus) and kill him with headshots. So yea...Best of luck!
  20. Ahhh i see. I forgot about that one!. Well that solves this editor...iguess... but still. I hope there is a darker and mor sinister plotbehind this :D
  21. The cycle, i think, it more of the fact that Al was killed by his accomplies. Breaking the cycle is HIM killing the traitors. Perhaps it is just that easy. But my question is: How will this cycle affect the overall story? Perhaps this is the rift? Or perhaps breaking the cycle mends the rift AKA the GG bridge that connects us to the real world?
  22. Alright. The guide is fully updated. Thanks to all who contributed. Also, if anyone knows the numbers, please tell me. I seem to have forgotten them
  23. "Speaking of Icarus, same old story. The Editor defaced my art scrawling nasty little comments on every page." -Al "The Weasel" Arlington So i was looking at some cool theories about all the mysteris of Alcatraz when i realized some...interesting connections and a few impossibilities. So, to start, why is Icarus "same old story"? By this quote, we can decipher one of 2 things The plan to fly failed (if you want theories on THAT subject, look around. They are everywhere). or The story of the nephew of Daedalus. Let us examine the latter to begin. Please watch the CAPITALIZED WORDS. These are important. The story goes like this: Daedalus was locked in a PRISON on King Minos' island after a scheme he set up that resulted in the MINOTAUR. He had a nephew with him who was fixated on this idea of escape via FLIGHT (weird prison i know but so is all mythology). The boys name was ICARUS. They made wings and took flight. However, the glue holding together the wings fell apart as the boy tried to go close to the sun. He plummeted to his death. So lets connect some dots -The plane is assumed to be Project Icarus. This corresponds with the Nephews name. -The prison was said to be inescapable AKA The famous Labyrinth. Alcatraz was a massive prizon and from the wa ythe map looks, it was pretty much a maze -The Minotaur was the guard of said labyrinth. The warden (or Brutus) was the keeper of the prison. -The idea of flight to escape rather than boat. (I couldnt stop laughing as i thought "SCREW THAT. FLIGHT IS WAAAYYYYY BETTER.) Another interesting idea: Athena is the goddess of Wisdom. Supposedly, Daedalus was her son. Supposedly Children of Athena are born not from the womb but from...wait for it... THE BRAIN. Going back to some if Ferguson's quotes, let us suppose that Al is something close to "smart". If we can relate him to Daedalus, we can get to another conclusion: However, few were as audacious as the one undertaken by four inmates, on New Years Eve, 1933. Thought to be the BRAINCHILD of an inmate by the name of Albert Arlington, the outrageous scheme was as unlikely as its mastermind. This "Project Icarus" (in a relation to escaping via flight) would be his "brain child". Just an interesting fact Onto this mysterious "Editor" and this so called "book". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ " And so it was here, beneath the dark and stormy winter skies, that the hapless Arlington methis grizzly end, bleeding to death, on the cold, concrete roof. For their participation in the murder, the three collaborators were set to death by Electric Chair. Justice came swiftly. On the morning of January 19, 1934, the execution order was carried out." -Stanley Ferguson; Guard; Father of Timmy (or tommy...not sure.) (1933-1942) So. This was an interesting thing to see. lets see: -Electric chair at the time was increasingly painful. -It was a dark and stormy winter sky...in January. -Morning of January 19, 1934, the execution order was carried out. I would like to draw attention to the 3rd one. To start, If these "headphones" are the "truth", then we didnt die via being eaten, we died by being killed on the electric chair. If you want more theories on that look around. Many peopel have them. Ill just say that there is a mystery here and i think it is close to being solved. My personal theory? Afterlife mode is set in the past. Those holes and openings are from the past BEFORE the current prison. This can would explain why we need to be in Afterlife mode to get back to our bodies in the real world. Again confusing, but look around for more well explained theories. Okay so What happened on January 19, 1934? Well the most interesting thing is...who was born on this date. Allow me to introduce the man born on January 19, 1934 now 79 years old. The one the only..... Lloyd Robertson: EDITOR of CTV news. So now we may know who this "Editor" is. Or we can go for a more dark and sinister setting. The Editor could be the devil, making little notes and toying with these 4 lost souls. His assistant is the Warden, and in actuallity, the prison is hell and is a prison for the damned AKA all our current characters. ...Or possibly Richtofen. Or MAxis. Or Sam. Or some other demoic voice. Or Brutus. Many possible leads. Another "lighter" idea is that the "Editor" is God. After all, he is able to do whatever he wants and write the whole destiny of everyone. Again, a theory This supposed "Book" Could either be the journal we see in the beginning OR possibly: The Book of the Dead. It was a guide to finding the way through hell and how to handle the challenges set forth. In theory, it could perhaps used as a way BACK OUT of hell. And to finish it all off, let us look at the Bridge in question. Specifically the Golden Gate Bridge. From my knowldge of Christianity and Heaven and Hell, There is a "bridge" that is impossible to cross. No one has ever gotten out of hell. Let us translate this into our situation. -We cannot escape. -This place is pretty close to hell as most things can get. -This "bridge" happens to be broken. (Mend the RIFT anyone?) My point is the last one. This "bridge" is broken and Richtofen wants us to mend some Rift. This could be the connection. I dont know. It is merely a theory. So to sum it all up: -Connection with Mythology and Alcatraz escape -January 19, 1934: date of birth for Editor of CTV news Lloyd Robertson -Book is possibly book of the dead. -bridge is the connection to Heaven and Hell Thanks for reading guys! Took me a while to get all this but i hope we allget something out of this! I will be adding another part about the Crystal skulls later on.
  24. Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying Mob of The Dead because I know I have! But I want to put on our thinking caps for a moment and think about this “Evil Island”. What is the significance? How did this happen? Why is this happening? Why is he not telling us and just listing things? Well allow me to explain. We start out the map in purgatory. We know this happened in the premise of the map AKA the message from Alcatraz. We are dead. And yet…our bodies are fine. We are (our bodies) okay. But why? Aren’t we eaten alive? Why are the bodies intact? The answer is simple: THE BEGINNING IS ONLY AN ILLUSION. That is right. We never really died that way. No, we died in another way. Namely: ELECTRIC CHAIR. This was our method of death. When at the end of the EE, we are in Afterlife and we must get into our bodies. Then we must find the Weasel, and hunt him down….or so we think. WHAT IF there was another way to end it? I have watched 2 videos of the completion of the easter egg. One team (NGTZombies) succeeded in killing Al. Achievo unlocked. However, the screen disagrees. It merely says that the cycle continues. In another (playthegamecentral) they are all killed by the Weasel. No achievement. Instead, the cycle is broken. My friends. This is no glitch. Treyarch, throughout all this map, has trolled us and finally given us the ultimate puzzle/clue to solve EVERYTHING. This final clue will solve this map. My Theory: So if killing the Weasel continues the cycle, how do we stop it? Simple. We reverse the circumstances and kill the others so Weasel lives. This breaks the cycle. What is the significance? Alcatraz is called “Evil Island” because in this sense, it isn’t just filled with evil. It is evil incarnate. HELL. At the moment when we were truly killed (via electric chair) we were sent to a hell prison (hell guard, fire chest, hellhound, red eyes etc.) Thus, a vicious cycle began were we tried to escape numerous times, but failed. Then, it worked. We make it off the island and to the bridge…but it is broken… How? Simple. This bridge is not just a simple one. It is literally the bridge to hell. It is what separates us from hell…or shall we substitute and say…RIFT? A rift is a disconnection between any 2 things, metaphysically or in emotions. This bridge is what we were instructed in Die Rise to MEND. MEND THE RIFT. This bridge has a rift that separates these survivors getting back to Earth. But why? Treyarch has been making MANY bible references. In the bible, the bridge to hell and earth is impossible. Nothing can come back from hell. So how do they get out? They must be freed from captivity. But Alpha, it would take some sorta angel to bring back a damned soul. But who says we don’t have one? Al Arlington is not what he seems. EVER. Just looking at him we can tell something is up. What if he is the connection to hell? Through him, we are trapped. The cycle continues because he continually dies. We are made to think we did this right by the easter egg achievement. But what if the exact opposite were true? The real ending, the truthful one, ends when Al kills all, thus freeing their souls from this hell. He is the necessary tool to mend the rift. Back to Samuel. We don’t know what that demonic voice was. He just told him to mend the rift. We know Richtofen shows up a few minutes later to become the voice in his head again. That voice I believe, is the very essence of the Devil. And a jail can no longer hold him… So that’s my theory. I know it was a hard read. Probably had a ton of mistakes, but I think this is the real deal. So in short: -The cycle is broken by killing everyone. -The island is actually a manifestation of hell. -The “Rift” is the Golden Gate bridge. -The tool to mend the “Rift” is Al Arlington.
