  1. Hey Kenny, belated welcome! I'm pretty sure I've seen you around here, feel free to add me to xbl always looking for more people to play with. gt: baldage
  2. I like Grief it's fast, fun, and most importantly different. I haven't been playing it too much recently but it's nice to get a break from co-op every once in a while. I definitely wouldn't call it the worst part of BOII. I think it's one of those things where you either love it or hate it.
  3. I think I'll try to avoid this ego fest as much as possible but wanted to reply to this statement. The necessity of tombstone depends solely on the strategy being used. And in some cases it is completely necessary. On town survival it is not needed. In this case I agree it's more of a crutch for players who go down more often than they can keep up with the amount of points needed for buying perks. But if your strategy is run trains in co-op in completely different parts of Green Run, then yes it is a necessary perk. You are not getting revived, so you lose not only your perks, but your knucks and your guns. Considering how long it takes to get set-up, it's far more valuable than any other perk that you would have in it's place. Don't write things as fact, when you obviously haven't thought about all the scenarios in which the perk might be useful. It doesn't matter if you have a 500 k/d, in this situation you want tombstone otherwise that one down becomes increasingly challenging to come back from as the rounds increase. Tombstone is a situational perk, whose use is dictated by the strategy being utilized.
  4. Accuracy 1.41 o_O' Isn't 1 like the max? Hitting multiple zombies with each bullet causes this Matuzz. I agree that it is flawed. Being a math nerd it makes me want to puke when I see stats like that.
  5. Hey Chopper, curious if anyone in your game started to revive him and stopped before he bled out?
  6. Yeah I agree, but I assume we'll be dealing with a large map again, which will tie into the story. So in most senses I expect it to be a lot like the TranZit mode on Green Run. There's no need for a bus or any type of non-teleporting locomotion though.
  7. Only ruins the game for the people who care enough about an emblem to grind out a fake k/d and make the game not fun for themselves. The funniest part is, what happens after they get shotties? Well they can't start playing normally now, they'll get demoted. Nope more grinding, to keep their k/d up. Personally, I couldn't care less, I play the game how I would normally play and most importantly I have fun. Skull w/ dagger is where I'm at and where I shall stay (unless I go down ) and I'm fine with that. This game is awesome, and I'm not going to ruin it for something as artificial as an emblem by my name. What are you trying to say i/m bad at the game or something? Me going for the rank was a challenge, like most gamers want...Don't try and say my K/D is fake when i play strictly online and have never cheated/hacked/glitched etc... Don't make a post so dumb kid trying to say our K/D's are fake, maybe we can actually go into an online game with randoms and still do good? Your a goof Lol okay you are free to take that statement anyway you want. You said you did a month of tedious grinding to get that emblem not me. That in itself implies you were playing in a way that differed from your normal playstyle and in a way that was more boring (ie tedious) then normal. This "grinding" was obviously to boost your k/d to the shotty level. So instead of fake, lets say boosted? enhanced? not-your-normal-run-of-the-mill-k/d? You choose. Did I say you or anyone who grinds their k/d to get shotties is bad at the game? No. If I wanted shotties I'd have to do the same exact thing and I don't consider myself bad at the game. If you actually took the time to read and understand my post, I was simply saying that the ranking system only takes away from the game if you let it; in reference to Chopper's quote. You obviously wanted shotguns as a goal, you got that goal. Congrats I hope it was worth the month of tedium that it cost. I on the other hand play for fun, and have fun playing. Sure seeing shotties by my name would be cool, but I'm not about to go out of my way to achieve them. Especially if this would make game less fun for me. They will either come naturally or not.
  8. Well it's around here somewhere that x/2 ME implies the statement "Cross over to me" which could be seen as a reference to becoming a zombie or placed there by Richtofen or Maxis in reference to choosing a side. I believe this is the best current deciphering we have of that particular sign.
  9. Sorry dude this is not aimed at you, but this is how they are ruining zombies. Only ruins the game for the people who care enough about an emblem to grind out a fake k/d and make the game not fun for themselves. The funniest part is, what happens after they get shotties? Well they can't start playing normally now, they'll get demoted. Nope more grinding, to keep their k/d up. 10. Maybe they'll bring Thundergun back... Anyway,I just don't want the power switch appearing as a buildable.Please... The power switch is already confirmed as a buildable as it has a zombie hand attached: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/7568/proofoftranzit.png
  11. It's doubtful that perks have much if anything to do with how rank is calculated. The fact of the matter is; ranking up takes a long time! So when one finally does rank up, they try to put an added emphasis on the last game they played and see what they did different. Which is wrong imo. That's not to say that rounds/perks drank or kills/perks drank isn't a weight in the rank formula, but I believe we have a pretty strong consensus here that kill/downs is largest factor in determining rank.
  12. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you realize; "players will wield powerful, upgradable Wonder Weaponry" could be referring to Ray Guns right? :?
  13. Not sure what the exact issues you are having are; but I'll try my best. You'll want to hoard with a fast moving weapon, i suggest mustang and sally or ballistic knife. Your secondary weapon isn't really important. Personally I prefer ballistic knife for hoarding and mustang and sally for instakill/max ammo spraying. To get used to the jet gun you should definitely hoard in front of the farm. It is so wide open, and a very easy spot. Now here's the trick, i'm on xbox so this will be tailored towards those controls. Hoard up some zombies with your pistol/knife speed weapon, you don't need the whole hoard to start with the jet gun, but you dont want lots spawning. Press up on the d-pad to pull out your jet gun, while the animation of changing weapons is happening, press and hold the right trigger like you're trying to shoot it. This is very important as it raises the RPM without raising the heat gauge. Now when the jet gun appears you need to wait a split second for the actual sucking to take place. As soon as it does press Y to go back to your hoarding weapon. You could also press up on the pad but this means you stop moving for a moment and is more dangerous. Now you've killed a few zombies, just keep repeating this until you have a new high round! The timing here is a little tricky and takes a little to get used to. If you switch back too soon, you won't actually kill anything and you just put the jet gun back away. If you wait to long to switch back, you'll get sucked towards the hoarde and the jet gun will begin to overheat if messed up enough. When you do it just right, the jet gun doesn't overheat and is out for the minimal amount of time. Allowing you to go back to your fast weapon. If you go down, run straight for the short cut to town. You will have some zombies to dodge at the entrance of the short cut. Once by them you should have no problem getting jugg and stamina, allowing you to finish the round. That's all I got; keep practicing with it and you'll get it down no problem.
  14. Get some more kills, increase your k/d (kill/down) slightly like into the 80's, get a few round 30 survivals/tranzit and you'll get it no problem.
  15. Welcome! ps Packers lost...Go Pats! :D
  16. Yeah the camping strategy here is one of the (if not the) funnest camping strategies in all of cod zombies. Everyone lined up on the wall near double tap, absolutely raping endless hoardes while one guy takes the window. Betties everwhere and when it gets real crazy run that trap 24/7 . Then when shit breaks down, its time to open the door and run like crazy. If everyone stays together it's absolutely amazing.
  17. I think the first head popper will carry through for any weapon. This is like the base upgrade, I don't believe it even adds to headshot damage or if it does it is a neglible increase. However if you stick to one weapon the whole game, I noticed the 3rd or 4th time I achieved the green puff with the skullcrusher, the zombies simply died quicker. I should have really went into theater to confirm this but it went from what felt like a 4-5 shot headshot to what appeared to be 1-2 shot kill. Hoardes were falling in what appeared to be 1/2 the time. Again this was all just feel, and I really should have inspected it closer at the time, but it happened mid-round and the increased head shot multiplier was quite apparent. I don't believe that this upgraded multiplier carries over from game to game either only the base head popper does that. The next game I played my M16 felt stock.
  18. Agreed, they really hit the nail on the head with this map. Simplistic yet challenging.
  19. I agree that farm is probably the easiest training spot. Very wide open and never need to worry about ammo if you're using the jet gun. Another plus, is it has very easy access to town. The easiest access without having to be in town itself. Every other spot (besides power) has a lava pit between itself and town. And when you're trying to get jugg this is important. I love the tunnel and the skullcrusher so that is my number 2. After that, I prefer diner, then town, lastly bus depot (although town might be harder, I just don't train here often). Anyone else try nacht out? It gets kinda of fun.
  20. We really need to direct some attention to testing this. I have noticed what appeared to be an increased head shot multiplier as well after getting the headpopper multiple times in the same game.
  21. To trigger the bus, enter and close the doors. The horn will sound in about 5 secs. This is also why if you don't open doors the stops are shorter.
  22. Well only Samuel can hear his quotes, so you need to make sure that whoever is Samuel is paying attention. You will also know you are ready to emp because the lamps look different. I don't know maybe you need all four people at the pylon. I don't see why though, as long as you're giving the stone enough 115 it should work.
  23. Don't emp the electric guy until he is trapped by the turbines. Also you probably dont want to put the turbines out until he has spawned on you, as your turbines will get beaten up by zombies, if you are not great at spawning him there. Sometimes, its easier to spawn him at diner and lead him there, or so I've heard. Another maxis tip is to have someone at power who turns the power off right before you complete that step so that you can have perks all the way up until that point. As for Richtofen, as mentioned above you need explosives when collecting the 115. Richtofen says something like "bring them to the stone and make them go boom". Ray gun and m&s are the easiest to do this with. Other Richtofen tips are; you don't need the whole table built to do it. Only the obelisk piece is sufficient. Also you only need two players to get emps, not four. Just each emp a lamppost, teleport, and emp the lamppost you land at. This needs to be done at the same time. It's a little tricky and sometimes you land at the lamppost that your teammate already emp'd, which is bad luck. A trick for making this easier is that while teleporting you can press your special grenade button and you will get the throwing animation and toss it as soon as you land. Make sure you are looking at the ground so you don't launch it. Hope that helped some.
  24. I thought they were basically giving Nuketown 2025 away. I got the code by buying the game at gamestop, no preorder, around a week after release. But yeah the Chaos gamemode is kinda of weak. First off it was advertised as "nuketown 24/7" then for some reason they deleted the playlist all together for unknown reasons. Then a bunch of people complained and they brought it back in the Chaos playlist which for some reason seems to play nuketown the least of the other maps. I don't know what their deal is with nuketown.
  25. 1) You would not be able to read the equation 2) Thats against Federal Law in the USA 3) IT would not fit in the space allowed I mean no disrespect. I am only protecting myself and Treyarch. Ok pm me the equation, with any helpful knowledge. I have a masters degree in mathematics and have done a fair bit of programming. Seriously though, you can't come on here saying you decrypted something with no proof or anything to back up your statements and expect to be taken seriously.
