  1. New members? I'm sure we'll be getting loads of new members earlier then what you just said. Just the fact that (I myself included) hundreds have joined over the past recent months. This site has been getting a lot of traffick from Syndicate, MrRoflWaffles, and MrDalekJD.
  2. I fear that some of are experiences are different. I for one was only getting Black Ops 'for zombies'. I knew instantly that I had to have it (WaW corrupted me). Once I played Kino for the first time I had no idea what was going on. In less than a few days of playing I was a pro. Me and three of my best friends wrecked on the map and made it to about round 47. It was the best memory of the second and best zombie COD game I had ever played.
  3. I believe that the reason why the woman's hat represents the Mayan prophecy is either because of 1 or 2 things. 1. Treyarch will have a bonus map, possibly set in the timezone of the Mayan prophecy. 2. They will release a apocalypse based map (if they haven't already) on this date. The second option seems very unlikely (and scary), but you never know. As James C. Burns put it, 'These guys sit in a room, thinking up ways to f**k with you'.
  4. Now that we're straight on the, 'no going back in time', bullshit lets get down to the core element of the setting. It is a very good possibility that the launch map coming with the game is a multiplayer/survival based map just to get players use to the new integration. Now maybe after a couple days of release we will actually get the campaign maps free of charge (hopefully). The things I would like to see as far as story line maps go are: 1. Finishing the COTD Cast Crew story. 2. Expanding more on the Tacitus group. Potentially being a Tacitus task force sent to eradicate all evidence of the breakout. 3. Original four (Samantha in place of Rictofen). All three points are core elements that I believe form the Black Ops zombie story line. You might think that going back to COTD story would be a waste, but think about it. George Romero discovered Element 115. The reason the crew was attacked was because Samantha didn't want them helping Rictofen. But why did the zombies continue attacking after the Easter egg? Now I understand that that may be just for play ability, but still. Isn't it odd? And also the fact that Romero was the only/first super zombie by just being infected by normal zombies. Then we have the Tacitus task force (TTF). This could very well be 4 v 4 only characters. 4 players are random survivors. Other 4 are TTF. TTFs job is to wipe out the survivors whilst surviving the apocalypse. The reason I say this can be part of the story line is because you can have chapters and inside those chapters episodes. Here is a layout of my idea. Call of the Dead: Dead Ice Chapter 1-Away from Siberia Chapter 2-Romero's antidote Chapter 3-??? (coming soon) Tacitus Task Force: Operation New York City (spoof of Operation Raccoon City) Chapter 1-Manhattan Chapter 2-Samantha Hunt Chapter 3-??? (coming soon) Original Four: MDMS (Marine (Dempsey), Drunk (Nikolai), Monkey (Takeo), Sociopath (Samantha)) Chapter 1-Escape Area 51 Chapter 2-Holy Shit the Earth is Gone! Chapter 3-??? (coming soon) As you can see we could very well have weekly episodic story maps along with proper 4 v 4 and survival map DLCs. I find this the best way to keep all genres of zombie players entertained.

  6. Face it. We won't be going back in time to fix the outcome of what has happened. We will be pushing forward to save the world in its current present.
  7. Tacitus task force sent to eradicate all evidence that ties them to the apocalypse.
  8. I have a feeling that this map is going to be what CCM said. I would love to see about 48+ zombies limping/sprinting down a deserted and destroyed road. 8 players lined side by side with nothing more, but pistols. Shit just hit the fan.
  9. My idea is that since this map is going to be for 8 players it may be 8 random survivors who either fight each other or join forces. Don't forget that even though we will have 4 v 4 game types, we will still be fighting zombies at the same time.
  10. I understand that many people feel that Treyarch is straying from their original formula of zombies. We had really amazing maps and a great story throughout both WaW and Blops. Why hate on Blops2? We already know that this map is going to support 8 player zombies. Whether it's co-op or competitive I'm sure it will work. I'm just saying stop complaining before the game even comes out. Shit. I'm just happy that we're getting zombies back!
  11. I myself play basketball almost every day and always find myself running from trouble. Bout to be 17 so I think I have a good chance of running to the nearest PAWN shop and stealing a few M16s and a couple clips. And besides that point please don't bring in some The Last of Us bullcrap. I think Mad Cow disease is more realistic than some fungi infected retards.
  12. Okay so there is the MPD AKA MDT, but even if it comes from a alien race how is it that the test chambers in Der Riese became connected to these alien devices.
  13. That especially explains why Rictofen needed the Vril generator in order to access the Pyramid of Redemption on MOON. Maybe the alien voices he was hearing were the Vril-ya?
  14. Truthfully I would find it hilarious to see players such as the OpTic and FaZe gang getting slapped by zombies while trying to 360 no-scope us.
  15. Cry as you remember all the good times in your life as your being mauled to death. Or run like hell before he/she grabs you. Either way is good.
  16. This is all crazy! I just hope that if it is true that it doesn't hit Austin, Texas anytime soon!
  17. I'm not sure if you're being serious, but you do realize that if zombies actually did happen... there would, EVENTUALLY, be no more internet, electricity, quick modes of transportation(cars, trains, airplanes), major energy sources, cable television, movies, etc.(the list could go for all the things we, I include myself, take for granted everyday). You need many people to perform all these tasks and if a majority of the world becomes zombies, then there would be no one able to sustain all these things. You also would constantly be worried about finding food, shelter, security, etc. and also the fear of being killed and even turning into one, so there's also a dilemma of contemplating suicide. I'm not exactly sure what "doing whatever you want whenever you want" entails, but I'm sure it would get pretty old fast. Especially living without experiencing what we currently have and even worse: having it taken away from us. There would be no reset button or start over like a video game. Sure it would be kind of cool to shoot up some zombies. But I'd be far from the happiest person if this were to actually happen. Maybe you should reevaluate all the the extenuating circumstances that you failed to discern. Dude I was joking. And as far as all the circumstances that I may have to face in a zombie apocalypse I am prepared for. I've been hoarding cans of food from my family every time we go shopping But seriously I think that the people on these forums have a better chance at surviving then most everyday people.
  18. If real life zombies actually happen I will be the happiest person in the world! Not for the fact that millions of people will die, but just because I will be able to do whatever I want whenever I want. That sounds like a heaven in hell
  19. If we had anyone famous I would like to see Barack and Michelle Obama paired up with a Janitor and JFK.
  20. Second disc just for zombies would fix most of these problems. A campaign with cut scenes would be kind of hard, but we've already had cut scenes with maps like COTD.
  21. Having characters like that wouldn't change gameplay, all it would do is add the character. Danny trejo could be considered a action star but yet the game-play in Call of The Dead remained the same. Just like having a group of Navy Seals (Seal team six perhaps , for those who don't know. They killed Bin Laden) with only a pistol. They would find any type of weapon and use it to survive. They could have massive weapons but that does not mean that they would start out with those weapons. I just had another idea, They should have Seal Team Six!!! That's not the point I was trying to get across. I was trying to say lets stay away from the famous people and actually have characters we have to get use to in this post-apocalyptic world. I don't really like the idea of seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger shooting up zombies =/
  22. If anything it needs to be more multiplayer or zombies. We got enough information on the Single-Player, but I guess that's what they're really pushing.
