  1. I've done some quick research, and I may have found the answer as to where Green Run is located. Sorry I can't provide any images but I'll try and get some good ones. When you are selecting Green Run on the Zombies menu, you'll notice the tyre and bones symbol pop up in front of you. For those of you who have Nuketown, its symbol should also appear. Now we know Nuketown is located in the state of Nevada, and Green Run is somewhere north of it. These symbols are actually on top of a broken America. Now because Nuketown is in Nevada, and Green Run is found further north of it, the map shows that the most northern state is Washington. I may have also found another point towards this. I looked up "Green Run" on good ol' Wikipedia, and the first line was this: "The "Green Run" was a secret U.S. Government release of radioactive fission products on December 2–3, 1949, at the Hanford Site plutonium production facility." Haven't we been saying that this town had something to do with the Hanford Site? My assumption: We are fighting the Zombies in the little town of Green Run, Washington. This is just a thought however, anyone is more than welcome to counter this theory.
  2. There IS a dubstep song on Green Run. Unless you already know, I'll tell you all tomorrow.
  3. The coffin might have something to do with the "Dance on my Grave" achievement, or it's just there for show.
  4. I take it the intel should be out at noon for most of you, 6 o'clock for us Brits. Unless Treyarch are "behind schedule". Hohoho, I'm so original! ;)
  5. So as we all know, the first two factions to feature in Grief are the CDC (Centre for Disease Control) and the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency). . What I was thinking was this: Will we be seeing other factions through DLC maps, or will we just fight as the same two groups in each map released? Also, do you think that there will be an alternative storyline in Grief mode? It's a bit of an ask but who's to say there couldn't be? Let's hear your thoughts.
  6. It does resemble Richtofen a tad, but some people are still sure it's a robot driver (from the 50's - 60's) made to look like a zombie. Also, since the story in Black Ops II continues from Moon, it's clear that Richtofen is still stuck in Sammy's body up in Griffin Station.
  7. I figured that the UK would get it late on this evening, at around 8 o'clock. That's roughly noon in California.
  8. To me this is a Grenade Challenge. A certain amount of kills or gibs with explosives in one game?
  9. Here's my go at the lyrics. Tell me if anything sounds wrong. Verse 1: Some people live in selfish desire Some choose to shout when they speak And they'll be the start (Still unsure about that) Guarding the flame of those deep in fire Seeking out those with a voice One for tomorrow (Sounds like he is saying "The morrow") Pre-Chorus: They say we've lost our minds, we've just gained control Chorus: Search endlessly Fight 'till we're free Fly past the edge of the sea No bended knee, no mockery (50/50 on "mockery") Somehow we still carry on Verse 2: Silence your fear, we've got to move higher High like the stars in the sky (To the Moon per chance?) Guiding us all Battle the will of those who conspire Take back the passion to live Banish the sorrow Pre-Chorus 2: Destroy their perfect crime, watch their power fold Chorus Solo (2:32 - 3:28) Chorus with another "Carry On" at the end Sound right to you guys?
  10. It looks very similar to the rolling stones leading up to the Pack-A-Punch machine in Shangri-La, doesn't it?
  11. Sorry if I'm going off course about the perk machine, but I've noticed something weird about one of the images. Take a look at the sky for a minute. I won't dive into that lightning bolt or what may be the Moon behind the tree, but look at the colour. As I recall in the preview, the sky had a reddish tint to it. In this image, it's dark. Real dark. I don't know where to start on it. Perhaps it could just... change? Or could weather effects play a part?
  12. Wow, that was fast. Glad to have you back, Waffles. I think you're right. It would be the better option to put another A7X song in a map like Nuketown. Unless Elena and Kevin haven't made a song for the big map. Maybe it's like "Not Ready To Die", where the lyrics help progress the story?
  13. I agree with Monstorbasher, let's get back on-topic. The way the community is reacting to a potential campaign worries me. Some want it to be there so they can have all our questions answered, yet others don't want one as they feel it would ruin the Zombies mode altogether. The real question is though, how are Treyarch reacting to the idea and what should they do to keep us all happy?
  14. I think it's based on American time. For example, the Zombies Preview was uploaded at around 8PM in the UK on Wednesday. I think Australia is around 9 hours ahead of me, so you would have had it at around 5 in the morning, and in America sometime in the afternoon (I'd guess before 4PM). My guess is that they will release the actual trailer at around the same time as the Preview, so I'd say what FatedTitan has already said: Get up early.
  15. Something's coming out of my trouser area... Seriously though, this is a fantastic song. A7X never fail to impress me and I'm glad they're back for BOII. Now if we can decipher the lyrics and find anything interesting in there... Edit: After I turned the volume up, I heard a quiet voice during the Pre-Chorus. Perhaps Richtofen is trying to tell us something?
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G65-CDgr ... r_embedded Facebook caption: "When you waltz with the dead, you'd better keep up." Discuss.
  17. I want a music video for this new map. That is all. I'd be more than happy with a separate trailer for Nuketown Zombies, but I want to hear Elena's voice first.
  18. The Facebook caption says "Danger: high voltage". I can't believe I'm saying this but Syndicate might be on to something with his Electric Zombie boss idea.
  19. To be honest, i don't think a plane from '42 has much to do with the plate.
  20. Here's the main things I can see: 0:07 From the start, the world has gone to shit. The red tint from the rockets hitting the Earth is the giveaway. 0:08 What is that music? An ice-cream truck, or just ambience for the trailer? 0:10 Every car, bus etc is covered in rust and or on fire, probably due to the explosion. 0:10 As Crazy Skillz pointed out, there is what looks like a "Quarantine" board on the side of the road. Did this town see these eevnts coming? (Big thumbs up to him as well for finding the bus driver.) 0:14 When the bus stops, the road has been split and reveals some sort of red liquid. Maybe it's lava leading to the core of the Earth? No, that's a bit of an exaggeration. 0:15 The bus shelter's lights are on, so the place we are in must have some power generating throughout it. 0:18 The bus' registration plate "XP.79". I wouldn't know where to start on that. 0:22 All seems to be quiet... for now. 0:26 Is something going to pop out and scare us? 0:28 Oh thank God, it's just an automatronic voice! Wait, what? 0:32 One week left. 0:35 "Step on it!" A massive group of zombies chasing the bus in hospital gowns. I don't know either. Also, take note of the new sprinting animation. 0:36 Zombie 1: "Gaaaarrr!" (Get that bus!") Zombie 2: "Raaaaawwwwwrrr!" (You're on fucking FIRE!) 0:37 Another zombie (WITH BLUE EYES!) rips a board off the window. In a hospital gown. My, have they evolved.
  21. Words can't describe my excitement. One word can. Holymotherofgodthisiswhatwewantthankstreyarchudabestpeopleevar!
  22. One can dream Punkrockzombie, but it's more or less looking like the Farm image is a new map, not a revamped Nacht. I'm not seeing the same as you here. I don't remember there being crops or street lights of that shape in NDU. Unless I'm mistaken.
  23. It's truly a beautiful re-design. This may sound stupid but do you think they would use this in place of the current logo in the old maps, if they were added?
  24. I still can't decide on what I think everything is. I can vaguely make out some sort of damaged surface and a light at the far right. After I looked closer, I'm thinking that it is something on the Moon. Maybe something has crashed into the rocky ground, a meteor for example? The light looks like the one above the Bio-Dome's doors as well, so a meteor may have crashed into the Bio-Dome. That's just my take on it. As for the sound, it almost speaks for itself: Power On. At first though I could have sworn it was something slowly getting closer to something else, like the meteor crashing or even the rockets hitting the Earth. Since the video says .wav, Treyarch clearly want us to focus on what we can hear. I'm taking a guess and saying that we might get some more of these videos either daily or every couple of days, along with the Zombie Maps 101.
  25. My usual routine for any Treyarch CoD: Campaign, Zombies, Multiplayer when I actually want to. I play games for the stories within them, not to shout and scream down a microphone or waste 20 days getting to the highest Prestige.
