  1. World record for any black ops map is 199 due to the error.Proof? Well, if he's on PC, it's certainly plausible. The reason he gets reset all the time is because Xbox doesn't have much RAM—only 256 MB, I believe. PC's usually have double digit RAM (like 10 GB +) so being reset and framerate drop in general is a non-factor. That's why dudes like Pishizor had great framerate on round 182 on Ascension.
  2. Yeah KingJaq is crazy. He's certainly dedicated—I'll give him that. His next attempt will be on FIVE. If he got 200 on that map, he will be the GOAT.
  3. The easiest spot to run is in the upside down Buddha Room—you will know where that is when you find it. It's quite hard to miss. This place is one of the easiest trains in Zombies; comparable in both ease and speed to the Bio-Dome on Moon, this is the ideal place to hang out for the beginner player. I'm about to get into strategist mode, which is something I'm trying to hold off until I get a legitimately awesome game under my belt, so I'll just leave you with that. Oh, and you want Sally's, Sliquifier, and for your third gun if you choose to go with six perks, an AN94 PaP'd. InfestLithium covered all of the basics, though—cudos to him. Happy slaying! You're in for a treat. This map is truly like no other.
  4. You know what else would be fun on Die Rise? Grief.
  5. JGB has the most killing power now, because chaining is next to impossible unless you're a spawn-abusing scrambob. So, yeah, JGB hands down.
  6. Oh dude... you really shouldn't have... Half the guys that participated in this thread aren't even in the community anymore.
  7. It can create crawlers now? Can I see your source for this? If this is true, that's just messed up. Sure.
  8. The only character I truly don't care for is Russman. His quotes are dumb and yes, he did show great valor, his character doesn't have much depth. Marlton and Misty have a clear, albeit hesitant, romantic relationship developing and Stuhlinger is the replacement for Richtofen: offensive quotes, hilarious personality, cannibalistic tendencies. Russ is the only character that, I feel, doesn't add much to the table in terms of character development (as a story-writer, I value this more than the average joe, I think).
  9. Brains aren't here anymore. We've been saying they'll be coming back for about a year and alas, nothing.
  10. You actually can still use the trick... you just have to knife before. ;)
  11. The biggest quality of an OP Wunder Weapon is not killing potential or ammo capacity, but the ability to spam it and save yourself in a corner. There are only two (ish) weapons that could do this: the Thundergun and the Wave Gun and, pre round 40, Sallies with Flopper. These are the only OP weapons in the game. In order to get a high round, you must be able to kill effectively and efficiently. The Sliquifier was, by far, the most effective and efficient killing weapon in Zombies to date. It was not only a one-hit kill (it now creates crawlers past round 100) but it had the potential to kill an immeasurable amount of zombies with one shot. You are lying to yourself if you think you can complete 100 rounds in the China room without having done it before. I am hereby boycotting Black Ops 2 until they fix the Sliquifier/the next DLC comes out. No Man's Land, here I come...
  12. Problem is, they're contracted, and Activision owns all rights to Call of Duty. A continuation of Zombies will only be under a Call of Duty title, so there is no way in hell Treyarch could do a solo Zombies game without Activision's approval. The greedy, almost monopolic wrongdoings of Activision will continue as long as they still bring in the money. The fraudulent false advertising about Nuketown could easily be grounds for a lawsuit and they will continue to care about money before their fans. The root of the problem is greed.
  13. You can, you just have to have the gun physically out, but it's impossible to chain super long streaks (200+ zombies) because the only viable place to do it without camping was the China Room, and with the addition of all the puddles, an already tricky place to run has quickly turned into a nightmarish hellhole of undead and slip'n'slides.
  14. In all honesty, I don't see myself buying the next map pack until I see the reactions of others. I won't give them my money unless I'm pleased with what I'm playing. I've had enough of greedy devs putting their hardcore fans in the backseat. The Zombie fanatics made the Treyarch Call of Duty what it is today. Without people like us drooling over the storyline and fighting for high rounds, Call of Duty wouldn't have the fanbase it has today. Sure, it would still be extraordinarily popular, but I wouldn't buy another Call of Duty if I knew Zombies would be cut, and I know a lot of others would too. I've said this ever since I played Green Run: Treyarch is trying to appeal to the masses at the cost of the hardcore fans. And as for Nuketown? I honestly think it was extremely dishonest and blatant false advertising.
  15. This is the easiest fix ever. The Sliquifier was not broken—the map was. Poor spawn zone design by Treyarch was what made these 'strategies' work for triple digit rounds. Chaining 200-300 zombies with a single Sliquifier shot is an art. You will not be capable of chaining huge amounts of zombies unless you have expert knowledge of zombie behavior, spawn tendencies, and kiting techniques. You must make split-second decisions when chaining, something that I have only ever experienced in Zombies, prior to this map, in No Man's Land. This map and, more specifically, this gun, separated the men from the boys, but now they have taken away this and, as usual, are tailoring to the masses. People thought the Sliquifier was too difficult to use, so they dumbed it down at the expense of the players that wish to go to high rounds. Now it's just yet another hoard killing weapon with finite ammo, except this time you can't upgrade it and spinning the box midround is next to impossible. In conclusion, the Sliquifier didn't need to be fixed. It was perfect the way it was—far and away my favorite gun ever in Zombies. It reminded me of the JGB in the fact that it has tremendous killing power but, at the same time, it won't get you out of a corner like the Thundergun did. I appreciated that, and I thought it brought skill to the table, something to be proud of in a game that is often ridiculed as montonous, redundant, and far too easy, but I guess Treyarch didn't like that. This needs to be adressed.
  16. Beautiful. But dude, how do you keep focused for so long? I've died on 70 and 71 within the past couple days... it's just I always seem to mess something up, then I get a bad Who's Who spawn haha.
  17. I feel it's a bit early for the next DLC leaks to start coming—we have at least 2 more months until it hits. But hey, if this is fake, it's a damn good fake. Dead High does sound pretty darned cool though.
  18. I've gotten the Richotfen laugh twice trying to build it the fast way. The piece just disappears. UGH.
  19. Actually, you can do it simply by kiting too. It's way more fun in my opinion. Check it.
  20. Is there a limit? I assumed it had no upper-bound, just needed the right conditions. It can, in theory, kill all the zombies in the round with a single shot. In practice, this obviously won't work, but 150+ zombies with a single shot is not all that uncommon when the spawns max out.
  21. You guys know the Sliquifier can kill 300 zombies with one shot, right?
  22. Holy New Year's Eve, Batman! 50% deduction?!?!?! Town just got 50% easier. Someone tell King Jaq about this hahaha.
