Comparing "him" to Afterlife Mode
MixMasterNut replied to Dindo Nothin's topic in Research & Development
I don't have any definite answers to this. My theory about the Avogardo may be my own perspective based on things I've found in previous research for zombie related stuff. So take it with a grain of salt. But here's my thoughts.. In my prospective, the idea of the Avogardo was likely based off the "Atomic Giants" from the 1952 film "A is for Atom". Make sure you watch the end of the film to see the giants I'm talking about. I originally stumbled upon this by finding footage from "A is for Atom" was used in the GKNova6 website during the BO1 viral campaign. So there's at least some connection between this film and the zombie storyline. Don't know if it really goes any further than that, but it might. I personally don't think there's any connection between the Avogardo and the Electric Zombies. But that's just my own analysis. - Mix- 20 replies

Shadows of Evil Theme Park Ride

I live like 45 minutes away from Six Flags. If we plan an event, I could probably shoot some cool GoPro footage of the ride/attraction for youtubez. - Mix -
"Nero Blackstone" & "Shadow Man" - Character Inspirations
MixMasterNut replied to PINNAZ's topic in Shadows of Evil
I believe Nero Blackstone may be historically connected to the famous magician, Harry Blackstone Sr., who was famous for "sawing a woman in half" illusions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Blackstone,_Sr. Just compare that one with the Nero poster. The resemblance is uncanny... - Mix Knows All! ;) -
I went to GameStop last night to switch up my pre-order. They were all out of Digital Deluxe and Juggernaut Editions for PS4. I don't even know how they can be out of Digital Deluxe versions when it's basically the normal game with a bunch of DLC codes? Whatever... So I went with the Hardened Edition. After seeing the box art for the PS4 version today, I'm satisfied with my pre-order purchase. - Mix

Lovecraftian lore should hopefully help tie both the Alien and Hallow Earth threads in the storyline together. The earliest "Ancient Aliens" type of theories I know about was from Erik Van Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods" documentary. Might be a good idea to revisit that material, especially the parts focused on Vimanas (flying pyramids). - Mix

Black Ops 3 Campaign Prequel Comic confirmed
MixMasterNut replied to Spider3000's topic in BOIII News & Announcements
I'm a huge comic book fan, and I'm super excited for this! Dark Horse is a legit comic publisher that primarily takes existing franchises, and then makes comic book series for those franchises. Taking a popular video game like Call of Duty, and then making a comic series for it is right up their alley. For example, they did an excellent job with the comic book for The Last of Us, which was a prequel story that's continuity linked right into the game's last DLC content. If you are interested in checking out some Dark Horse comics, then I'd personally recommend jumping on Fight Club 2 right now. As far as indy comic publishers, they are right behind Image and IDW. Larry Hama writing this series is also something to be very excited about. Larry Hama is a legendary comic book writer who is best known for his 155 issue run of G.I. Joe back in the 80's and early 90's. He was also the main writer for the Wolverine solo series during the early-mid 90's when the comic industry was booming. That's the comic series I grew up with that made me fall in love with comics and that character. I think this project is in great hands. - Mix -

Is the URL still going to be callofdutyzombies.com when it's all said and done? Or is that changing too? I don't know much about web development. - Mix

Wish I could take a picture somehow. Here's what I've noticed... At first it was a slice out of circle. I believe it was black at first. Then half of it turned blue, like the blue hue from the xmas tree image. Now it's a full circle, that looks like a screenshot of the forest, but a slice cut out of it with the blue hue of the xmas tree image. - Mix

I just took that image from the Message of the Day, and put it into PhotoShop. Messed around with the levels, and I think I'm seeing some king of circular image or logo popping out from behind the tree. But I haven't been able to fully expose it yet. Anyone know what techniques were used to get the "Dr. Salim" text to pop out? It's probably the same type of thing here. - Mix

The thing that's throwing me off about about this being MK-Ultra brainwashing is that the MK-Ultra program fizzled out by the mid 70's. Yet the UH-60 Blackhawk ,as @Matuzz mentioned, wasn't put into service until 1979. The wiki link that @Chopper provided did mention that it is possible that the MK-Ultra program continued on in secret under a different acronym. Not sure if that's a stretch just to make this theory work though. The thing that is working for me about this MK-Ultra brainwashing theory though is that it seems the subject is being put into a calm state through a soothing voice, ambient tones playing in the background, and images of peaceful forests. Yet it's cut with eery imagery of things relating to war, and death. It's as these films are programming the subject to associate the type of peace and tranquility you'd feel in a forest, with things like war, death, and mortality. I also wanted to mention that the technology used to produce these videos looks to be from the 70's - 80's era. - Mix

Here's some screenshots of the subliminal images from Viral #4 Not sure what these dark things are at all Flies dying by a closed window on a rainy day Blood dripping down a surface Another one I'm not sure of. Possibly a bug More of the flies dying by the rainy window Last frame of the video. Looks like another x-ray or ct scan image is bleeding through the corner. My guess is it's a hip bone. - Mix
