Classic Maps put into Map-Pack for Black Ops.
Undead replied to Turbodude917's topic in Classic Maps
Well we don't get 'em for free OR get to create our own maps either. :P -
That's just helpful news. I feel like it takes forever for zombies to start spawning on the first round.
-
Haha, does he really? If so I guess thumbs up to Treyarch for knowing that really let that one slip through their fingers. But that should also be a clue that they should actually add more or finish it. :P
-
Yeah you'll come to find out that most of WaW's community anymore are all the damn modders/hackers that couldn't leave their precious mods behind. I personally don't see a problem with using them to test theories and find something out as far as zombies goes, but to cheat is a completely different story.

If you ask me, it's kinda nice to have a character that breaks away from all that and is actually more focused and a lot more intelligent than the main two players. (Dempsey and Nikolai) They've all got their moments though, including Taks. "Hmm... this weapon is like Dempsey's head; empty!"
-
The explosion reminds me more of the gerech devices after it's upgraded and the zombies don't just explode, they completely vaporized. Therefore, wonder weapon.

lol I'm pretty sure Five represents a few things.

People say whatever they can to keep the evidence and new findings as fresh as possible. But as always; Pix or didn't happen.

I noticed those too shortly after the map was released. They definitely were up to something out there before all hell broke loose. Not even a theory, but I'd guess that they were probably for transported subjects that Richtofen mentions in the radios. The question is, what state the "subjects" were in before the disaster.

Classic Maps put into Map-Pack for Black Ops.

I doubt that. Remember how after SNN and Der Riese, zombies practically became the number one demand on the release of Blops? The classic maps weren't an excuse for special edition content, they were more of special gift for the success of the Zombie franchise involved with Treyarch and were also in demand. People wanted zombies back, so why not give them all of it if they are willing to pay the extra 20 bucks? Even though we all know Activision wouldn't have a problem with that, the community would. People STILL complain that map packs are overpriced. And yes, they are. So why on earth would people spend even more than 15 bucks for maps most of us already have on a separate game? -
To quote Dempsey once again from Kino: "Aw... look at our little bundle of badass!"
-
I liked how Metallica's video for All Nightmare Long was VERY close to the zombies storyline. Infact, it's scary close. I kinda hope they do a song for zombies much like A7x did for COTD. :D
-
If you ask me, I'm actually disappointed you can't blow the limbs off of people like you could in WaW. :/
-
P.S. The Enfield with either reflex or red dot (Or your preference of sights I suppose) works wonders on Hardcore game modes. I've actually come to enjoy the some of the less popular guns on the Hardcore modes, more than the popular.

My camera's fried, so I'll try to get a pic up soon but my current emblem is a Nazi Zombie commander. :D

If anything, Activision/Treyarch will more than likely put the classic maps up for DLC after all of the map packs are released. Or, they won't. You never know. I think it would be SMART for them to do so, because then we could just connect the dots after all the zombies maps are available on one game. However, stating that it's "Unfair" of Treyarch to only leave the classic maps available to those who purchased the limited editions of Blops is a different story. What would be unfair would be if everyone else got to pay the 10 - 15 bucks for the maps that others paid the extra 20 for in the first place shortly there after. In the US, the standard version of Blops was $60. Hardened was $80. (So about 15 bucks for zombies, and 5 for the fancy case and bonus avatar outfit) -
As did I. ^ Uh... Dr. Maxis is most likely dead/zombiefied. And if he isn't, he would probably instantly wrap his hands around Richtofen's throat for locking him to his presumed death.
-
That arguement is still extremely vague. Especially since they made the classic maps cartoony in Blops. Compare the Blops SNN loading screen with the WaW version: Even with the comic/cartoony theme of SNN, it still would be obvious that that corner was SNN.
-
^ I know, a max ammo and a perk from the monkey's was far more rewarding than a death machine. (Unless you've done the egg, then it's a waffle. But still!) You go though enough that is should award you all three!
-
I figured the large structure in the background behind the leaves would be the giveaway that it isn't SNN. However, Paradise on the other hand screams jungle-ish map to me. So, we shall see.

I think any Takeo fans would be proud to check this person's art out: http://dumpaling.deviantart.com/

And yet, you get to do it all over again 2 rounds later. They don't pay us enough. :D
-
You'd think with how much ammo you dump into fancy pants that the least he'd do is make your reward convienient for you... lol

Why do these threads keep popping up everywhere? Without Taks, there is no honor. Without honor, there is no satisfaction in killing zombies. Your lack of honor, dispreeeses me! :P
