  1. In all seriousness, I don't actually think people are against the concept of buildables - just the unfortunate results of "prototypes". Treyarch came into new territory with them so it's not as if they were going to come out with 10/10 quality builds. Now they know what players liked, what they didn't like, and possible ideas for new buildables created by the community itself. So far, the general consensus revolves around these main points: If a buildable requires another buildable to function, then it's not good. If a buildable hinders your progress throughout the map (i.e. cutting areas off in order to make you use that particular item), then it's not good. If a buildable purposefully friendly-fires/attacks you or your own teammates, then it's not good. If the pieces to a buildable - especially a considerably unimportant, non-EE one - are scattered across the map in various, always-changing locations, then it's not good. If a buildable's sole purpose is to power something or do something that previous maps have already done with simple action commands, then it's not good. If a buildable's parts can be picked up all in one go instead of one part per character, then it's good. If a buildable only has a one-time use throughout the entire game or lacks any true purpose, then it's not good. (Unless the original intent was for a "shits & giggles" moment, I'm all for that too.) If a buildable can be created at any "work station" in a given map, then it's good. I have the utmost faith that Treyarch heard us the first time around. But if they decide to create Trample Steam 2.0, then...we'll see.
  2. If you're playing with someone whose parents are calling for them, you shouldn't be in that lobby in the first place. If you ARE that someone, well...go take another look at the game rating.
  3. Y'all just hating on the lawn mower turret.
  4. Sensitive or not, they'd rather pull any form of a swastika and remove a very minor in-game detail when we know what group we're exactly dealing with than suffer ANY kind of losses. That's just how businesses work; they want to see nothing less of profit and gains in their products. Why risk it and stop entire countries from experiencing your game? And no, it's not exactly stupid to be sensitive about something that people - who are still alive, mind you - experienced as traumatizing events and unfortunately associate the Nazis with those circumstances. But it IS stupid that certain countries are anxious about being associated with anything in the game that was historically terrible. Own up to the history and accept that the past is the past.
  5. Welcome to the family, friendo! You're missing out if you don't own Call of the Dead, y'know? Lots of little secrets in there with an awesome cast of characters...and let's not forget Georgey-poo. Enjoy your stay and hope to see you around!
  6. @BennetsGreen Ah, but comic strips and depictions have been around as panels since the early A.D. time. They weren't fully emphasized into comic strips that we generally see in newspapers until the 1800's, and then as anthologies/books in the early 1920's. So I agree with you now that the idea of space guns was not exactly conceived during the time of Origins. In fact, the same could be said for comic books in that matter which would mean Dempsey nor anyone would know about comic books. Got me there, friendo. Weasel lived in a time where the insurgence of comic books was at an all-time high. Their popularity sky rocketed and it's no wonder why he got into creating/drawing them. Superheroes and space comics were a pretty big deal - hence, the beloved creation of space guns. But to point that relationship between Origins and MotD is still iffy. @Nightmare Voyager Correct, but breaking the fourth wall is different than stating something that should not exist in a given situation. I mean, we've seen our characters talk to US - the players - in older maps, taunting us to drop some ammo and all that hubba hubba. The fourth wall is about reaching beyond the fictional storyline and entering our reality as if to comprehend that they're fictional and we're real...or the other way around. But talking about a comic book that potentially never existed is not a fourth wall reference.
  7. To be honest, the idea of a ray gun has been around in comic books for several decades - if not - a century. It's closely based on the ideal "space gun" - an intergalactic weapon that shoots lasers or beams. So to say that Dempsey saw it in a comic book and then relate it back to Weasel is not very likely...but still plausible! And also, we know that Origins follows an alternate timeline compared to the original storyline in World at War up until Buried in Black Ops II. In that case, we know Origins ties in with The Giant in its own reality whereas Mob of the Dead and Shadows of Evil share the same timeline. Whether those four are in the same path is questionable.
  8. Or it could just be that Weasel broke the looping cycle of his demise by reversing the action of murder. Yet, he never actually escaped purgatory, per say. That would make him somewhat an "omnipotent being" in that realm. And if we do find the SoE 4 crew to be in said purgatory, who else to hold power in that dimension other than Arlington himself? He knows purgatory very well and is knowledgeable in how to escape for the most part. Over time after MotD, it's possible he could've gained certain dark powers. But back on the topic of Nero: definitely the oddball of the group. With the others, it's easy to see what crimes they could have committed. Out of all of them, however, Nero deals with something much sinister and is closer to the darkness than the rest. Where Richtofen and Samuel dwelved into the extraterrestrial and conspiracies, Nero deals with black magic and possibly voodoo.
  9. Definitely gonna wait until the next drop. I got my trigger finger ready on all game outlets.
  10. @Rissole25 Then NO4 Richtofen does a good job of keeping a steady face, haha. We know him killing his original was not the plan the rest of the crew had in mind. He probably knew it would end in two ways, as he was very calm about deciding to rewrite history himself "for a better future".
  11. Still, seems like the original plan was to not kill O4 Richtofen and prevent him from continuing what we know he'd do. Additionally, they would make sure Samantha is never in full control of the zombies. But NO4 (that term is much better @Rissole25 ) Richtofen kills his original out of...hatred? I mean, he didn't look to have to see his original self at all. And in that event, NO4 Richtofen's only course of action is to rewrite history themselves with limited knowledge.
  12. Keep in mind that the Origins Crew went through the light a.k.a. teleporter at the end of Origins. And we know it's such because the action dialogue states this. I have a a feeling that all four landed on each of the four teleporters in Der Riese at this very moment of the outbreak. It makes complete sense. They probably knew of Old Richtofen's plan via passing through the Aether. They definitely gained knowledge about the future, but that was disclosed in Origins at all. Perhaps they went through other places and linked the pieces, or met with new Maxis - the one person that fully knew Richtofen's plans.
  13. So the "greater evil" turns out to be Origins Richtofen? Not sure if that's supposed to be ironic or actually the hidden plan. Still, can't stop laughing at Nazi Richtofen. Dempsey: "Richtofen - whatever you're thinking of doing, don't do it!" Nikolai: "You do NOT want to meet whatever's on the other side of that door." Takeo: "You cannot begin to comprehend the greater evil you'll unleash!" Richtofen: ಠ_ಠ -hits button-
  14. Is no one noticing the zombies with different emblems on their helmets? Certainly something we've never seen before. And yeah, I picked up on the Mauser returning...sweet!
  15. Old Richtofen: "Old-New" Richtofen: He's missing that, and the eagle insignia on his cap. His badge is removed as well.
  16. The monster is probably some Nova Crawler juiced up. Man, those drug testing laws had nothing on the '30s. Also, I will officially be broke in November. Worth it.
  17. Duuuude...a Zombies escape room that involves puzzles and I'm not there? Just let me cry in my corner as I hug all the BO titles closely.
  18. Oh bby you love me! You really do! We will do several kinds of streams, particulary everything CoD Zombies but not limited to modes such as Multiplayer, Exo Survival, etc etc.
  19. I will make love to Vonderhaar's head if I see any kind of Zombies collectible in the package.
  20. I should go down there and hitch a ride on their bus. Then I get uber access to their secrets.
  21. I'll see what my magic fingers can whip up.
  22. Thanks mate! We're slowly making design changes for a cleaner, more stable look. If you have any suggestions let us know.
  23. @Slade y u brk ma hart bby?? I figured it would be something along those lines. I was just interested by more proof of Russian involvement in the moon base. We already had a familiar idea of their presence but this is hidden out of plain sight as well. Re-used or not, I'm quite confident that Treyarch purposely knew about the Russian writing...right?
