So I was strolling through some of the twitch streams waiting for the mlg anaheim to come back on and I saw a stream from "Ur Adopted" saying he was going for a high round on town using the new mark2. I thought he was just on the same game from a couple days ago but he found a way to get the gun even after the hotfix.

He explained the process on getting it by saying you have to be totally disconnected from the internet on your xbox. After that you have to go to a local game. You also need season pass to do it.

SO, if you can't wait till teusday, then play some local games without being connected to the internet.

He also was in the high rounds still killing zombies super easy. On round 56 he did the whole round with one rgm2 and the pap version of it. It seems to be just like the regular ray gun in which it does the same damage output pap or not.

Yeah, was reported you could still get it but had to be offline as they only hotfixed it out after the update.

It depends on how you look at it...

If you bought the game and there is something on the disk thatyou can't access it, you might say its wrong that you can't play that even though you bought the disk. It just depends on how you look at it... I got a question for you though mmx, what time period do you think the rgm2 was made?

But it's not on the disc. It came in an update, so that doesn't really work. I think it is a matter of patience really. If you arrange a deal with your buddy to buy his car and then pick it up later on the 20th, but you come and nab it on the 19th, are you stealing? Depends.

I can't say anything for certain yet. It could go either way. On hand hand, it's been a century since the Ray Gun was invented. It would fit well to have a Ray Gun of the 1940's with one of the 2020's. On the other hand, Jimmy Zielinski is reported to have reported that Max Porter designed the new Ray Gun. Since Dr. H. Porter is based on Max Porter, the story could follow suit.

i did this earlier today on nuketown zombs.. fun, but none of it counts towards leaderboards so its not hurting anybody

But Thanks for the tip, been tring to get this gun for a day, offline 2nd draw on the box. Its over powered for sure. Its taking put zombies like the orginal rays gun does at round 3, at round 16. I just mowed thur a horde of at least 20 with no issue. Doesnt seem to have much splash damage or at least they never get close enough to find out. Lol

Yeah they are both in thw box. Now if you can have both not too sure. I just upgraded it and went thur 4 rounds (20 to 24) only using the upgraded verison. No splash damage and its really to easy. I really hate to say over powered since in zombies that should be a question. But this gun is very close to it. I do have 40k in points I will run the box and try to get the ray gun as well.

Im guessing it works like past wonder weapons:

for example: If you get the blundergat from the box you can not get the death machine

if you got the baby-maker in shangri-la you couldn't get the crossbow

Im guessing two players can get the mark 2 and the other two can get the normal, but not both...

Maybe putting your current Ray gun back in the box will reward you with the chance to get the M2 but IDK....

Yeah its in there but I doubt you can get it. I just spent 60k and didnt get it. And it was 25k spent before I even got a decent gun. In 60k spent I got the RPD once, Ham once and the gali 3 times. Reminds me of WAW days of the whaffle and using a wall gun as your second.

There should be a new perma-perk for box hitting, does that work in local? The one with the teddybear on the box... I assume you have the season's pass and are doing this in local mode to get the gun ahead of schedule....

I played town survival so not sure permas are there. If they are still then no. I spammed the box way more and got nothing when Ive been getting it every game online. I dont even hardly hit the box and been getting the box perma.

Speaking of that Perma perk: Does that even do anything besides put Samantha's teddy on the box?

I know it says it sometimes give's you better weapons but that's a lot of malarky! Thats like saying sometimes it will give you a ray gun... That doesn't DO anything....

What WOULD be cool is to use the perma-box to sort of put a cap on box hitting: Such as you're not allowed to hit the box after the bears appear as a sort of bonus challenge.....

I think it does give you better weapons. It for some reason counts the ballistics as a good weapon but everytime I have it I get nothing worse that a gali.

What the m2? You have to:

A: Own the seasons pass

B: Play offline

C: Enter a game where the box will give you the M2 over the ray gun, if it doesn't give it to you the first 20-25 goes, it's not in there for some reason... You also can't hold the ray gun and get the M2....

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but maybe the Ray Gun M2 is a hint story wise? Possibly Porter assembled the Ray Gun M2 on the Moon? I mean most tehnological items were wiped out by the rockets from Moon, right? So maybe, maybe Porter is on the Moon with the O4? Most of the scientists from 935 worked on the Moon (Rich's slaves as I call them). Schuster probably was on the Moon, and why not Porter. He would also need to input the upgraded M2 blueprints in ze PaP'er, and stuff like that could be on the Moon. Most of the computers probably got destroyed.

Yeah I didn't realize you had to be offline so I wasted a lot of time and points trying to get it. I played 3 games offline and one didn't get it, game 2 second draw, third was like round 10. Story wise... I honestly never followed that so cant say yes or no. Honestly after reading all the hate tranzit and die rise gets I think they added it to balance it out better for people saying its too hard.
