If you kill monkeys more zombies spawn

Ive played with someone who told me during gameplay not to kill the monkeys as they cause more zombies to spawn during rounds. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about but thats the only time ive heard that. Is it true? :?:

No. This is not true. If you don't shoot the monkeys they'll steal your power-ups. So it's best to shoot them.

For both the monkeys that are "chilling out"

And the monkeys that come after you.

Besides, how can you tell? You blowing them away with every shot you have!

There is a cap for monkeys, if you kill em all you have to deal with George Romero. jk..

2 kids told me the same thing on one of the first matches I played on SL. They told me if I killed em,alot more would spawn when trying to steal your powerups.

I went ahead and killed every monkey I could find on the sidelines. Those kids were pissed! :lol:

I never believed it... I've played five 134 times and i always killed the pig.... i played five a week ago and this kids say "ok the box is in there open the door but dont kill the pig or more zombies will come" so i did the logical decision.. i opened the door and sprayed the pig with all my shots in the mp5 used the box and got the law and shot the pig and the kids with all the rockets...... they left me to die with the winters howl and ray gun on round 22 then they died and blamed me for everything.... i love messing with kids..... :lol:

No, your not causing more zombies to come out if you kill them dam monkeys. BUT! there

is an effect early in the game if you shoot at them. An example is just when you stab at George in CoTD

if you shoot all the monkeys per round, then you get more power-ups 8-)
