  1. So are we still up for this? I'm not sure why you couldn't add me? Possibly only using 2 r's in Warrrior? Time is an issue for me but I can work around it.
  2. Door rule ties into the rule 2 from boom, if you have enough points to rape the box, you have enough points to hit the box once and then open a door.
  3. You forgot the biggest in my view "Thou shall not scream with your pre-adolescent voice down the mic" I'm 36 and suffer from tinnitus after years of going to large dance events and using earphones + monitors, it ****ing hurts.
  4. Glad the sites back on and I hope Lissa110 is ok, I know how personal issues can be. I'm also sure Carbonfibah will find another job, he done an excellent shift on the 25hr charity zombie match and I was happy to watch and donate. I know that personal life comes before a forum and that's understandble, however, I would say that my offer of assistance still exists if required, if not then that's ok. I'm happy to speak with the relevant person, as I know you don't really know me from Adam. I can assure you though, no sinister intentions exist only a genuine offer of help. However, you still have errors within the forum, a users time zone still cannot be changed. May I suggest the following, login to your control panel (probably cpanel) open up php myadmin and go to the table phpbb_users, browse this table and look for user_hide_reputation - if it exists then another issue occurs. However, the above error inidcates this column doesn't exist. Enter the following sql query ALTER TABLE `phpbb_users` ADD `user_hide_reputation` TINYINT( 1 ) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'; This should then resolve the problem of not being able to change the time zone. I'm not saying it is gaurenteed to work, so back up before hand. However, if everything is OK and no other issues exist with the MOD or other MODS then it should work. May I also suggest changing colours for hover over topic titles/links. It's currently a dark grey on a black background. Fairly difficult to see, you may need to edit the css file for the skin being used. See pictures
  5. Has it decreased in popularity or has it got rid people who are used to spending cash at the bank, or playing the "easier" maps. Making it a bit more likely to get random players who know what they are doing? Origins is a hard map and the new breed of players don't like it, one of my best mates loves Zombies but hates Origins, another gets frustrated with it because of the difficulty level.
  6. A couple of things spring to mind in all honestly and in defence of Treyarch. "damned if you do, damned if you don't" It's a buggy game granted, doesn't matter what map on BO2 you are on. However, they gave us Zombies when the didn't have too. They have tried to accomodate the classic zombie players and the new breed of zombie player. MoTD & Origins took us back to earning our way through a map, having to spend points to progress. Granted by round 10, everything is generally open on MoTD and Origins but my point stands. Both maps end the game "by choice" although you don't need to, both maps give you exactly the same as other maps REWARDS I hear you say, how can they be rewards? Simple really, how is having all perks any different from having persistent perks? Yet, some people don't like the addition of persistent perks, but they are just the same as having all perks for doing an Easter egg without doing the Easter egg. The staves & acidgat are a wonder weapon and can get you to an a high round, is this not a reward? You can get a free papped MG & a free blundergat, not Easter egg related and is a reward. One inch punch and hells retriever are both one hit kill weapons, upgraded are one hit kills to mid 30's - must be considered a reward. One you need to kill zombies on the bridge using just the hells retriever and one you must kills zombies in the dig site usingt he one inch punch. That can be challenging, espcially with Brutus arriving on the bridge and the Pandzer coming down into the dig site. Overall, when you look at every single map that offers an Easter egg or a reward, they are all offering the same thing but just in different ways. In my own personal opinions, Origins is probably one of the top 5 maps that have been released. I would have Shangri La, MoTD, Acension, Der Reise and Origins in my top five but that's a different topic.
  7. I disagree, it is only Easter egg driven if you want it to be Easter egg driven. For instance, if you want to get the ice staff, you have to dig to get the ice parts and then go down to the crazy place and get the crystal and then go to to the dig site and get the staff. If you want to upgrade it, then you have got to do the processes for upgrading it. In that sense, yes it is Easter egg driven. The challenge with this map isn't doing the Easter egg, it's not doing the Easter egg. Switch on the generators so the PaP machine works and pap your gun. Now get to a high round with just a papped weapon and no staff, you may find a very challenging and exciting map in origins.

  9. Unfortunately, going to the crazy place would be wasting time. Taken the zombie to jug whilst the other 3 players kill the pandzers at gen 5 would be suffice. The zombie shouldn't get touched by a staff shot at jug. It's a world record attempt, so time is of the essence. Everyone needs to communicate and be very clear from the get go. Who does what and when, who gets the 750 points and stops killing / shooting on round 1 etc. It will not happen on the first attempt but possibly 3rd or 4th. Once everyone has a greater understand of the process/steps.
  10. I'm afraid so, I'll explain why. It's not achievable by round 10 in my very honest opinion. Not enough zombies spawn in the first 10 rounds to complete. You have not allowed correctly for the amount of Zombies that spawn per round. I will, I'm happy to give it a try but I can honestly say It's a pipe dream. Why do you want to horde Zombies? you do not want till kill any zombies outwith a chest area yes, however you don't want to evade them you want to chain them up and not cross other players trains and take them all to chest areas. However, if you areall in a chest area they will spawn nearby. Agreed One of the biggest problems with your suggestion, is on round 3, you will not get enough zombies killed to fill a chest, it's even going to be tough on round 4, which is why I suggest rounds 4 to 7, concentrating in the chests as it should be achievable on these rounds. It is definitely not possible on round 3. I'm open to being proved wrong but I don't think it's possible.
  11. I've got boom on my friends list, so I'll definately join the play dates. This Sunday I reckon I'll be too hung over to get out of bed, never mind play zombies. Also got 3 kids, so likely scenario of me getting on before 9pm GMT is very remote.

  13. I agree with your thought process for this but not all the steps for it I'm afraid. I'm up for a world record attempt and I reckon with the right team and the right communication it is achievable in an early round. However round 10 is a push, each chest takes about 30 zombies. I agree that is essential to have the staffs before round 8 and that is achievable and by round 9 they should all be ultimates. Here is my thoughts on how to achieve it and I think round 12 in around 40 or 50 minutes. Beating the current record by about 19 or possibly even 25+ minutes. Round1: - Let zombie come through the barricades, one player needs to get the most points, doesn't matter who, but two players should have a maximum of 750 points. One player should have a minimum of 1000 points and one player should have a minimum of 2050 points. Why, because gen 2 & 3 will give an additional 200 points allowing workshop to be opened. It is imperative, that the two players with 750 points open the doors from gen 1 to gen 2 & 3, the player with 1000 points open either 2nd door to gen 2 or 3 and the players with 2050 points opens the door to gen 2/3 as they will have enough to start both generators. Round2: - This will allow a couple of things to occur, one player getting 1500 points to get no mans land opened, one player getting 1250 points to open gen 5 and one player receiving 1250 points to start gen 4, start gen 5 and open church. The other player should be concentrating on digging whilst it snows to get all the dig sites done and maximise the chances of getting all 3 ice staff parts and getting into the robots foot at gen 2/3, excavation site whilst another player gets robots foot at church for the 3rd wind staff part. Forget about jug, get the shield built as you should have all parts. Round3: - If everything has went according to plan, free for all. As long as one player has 1000 points, to start the tank at the end of the round with one zombie remaining. Keeping it out of the way of the tank tracks. Two players jump on the tank and get all 3 lighting staff parts. Round4/7: Players concentrate on getting the 4 chests filled, starting at jug so you can buy jug, working your way around to excavation site, gen 5, then gen 6. Preparing yourself for round 8. This should allow you to have all generators filled. Get the wind, ice and lighting staffs. This will allow a quick take down of the pandzer. If you haven't managed to fill all the chests, get it done Round8: - Take down that pandzer and get the last part for the fire staff. It is ideal that once the Pandzer has been taken down, that all players head down to the crazy place, ice, lighting and wind get the puzzles done. Fire staff player fill those cauldrons or whatever they are. Keep a zombie alive, get the remainder of the puzzles done. Round 9: - All players head to the church, 3 players hiding by the mystery box, the remaining player filling the souls. If all players are at church and 3 keep by the mystery box, they will allow the stone to be cleaned quick. 2 players go in front of the player with the stone, 1 player remain at the back to keep them protected. Get back to gen 2, place that stone, kill the remaining zombies and get the airstrike. Now get all the maxis drown parts if you haven't already grabbed them along the way. Get that remainig last zombie away over to jug. Keep it away from the pandzers that will spawn. Kill those pandzers Get Zombie blood from the 3 carts, kill shoot down the plane and kill the zombie running round the excavation site. Round 10: - Get the staffs in the robots foot, or even do it the other way and get the fire staff done in the dig site. I think it would be cheating so the feet is the way I would do it. Get your staffs back, get in that foot, get that button pressed and get that airstrike thrown. Round11/12: - Get down to the bottom of the dig site, upgrade the one inch punchwo at the steps, once upgrade, swap. Two players, stay back at the pedastals, the two players at the back keeping an eye on everyone's back. It should now be possible to get back down to the crazy place and shoot til your hearts content, get the end game 40/50 minutes and I think that's not a hard task to be very honest, I'm up for it if anyone else is and wants to record it for proof?
  14. Sounds like you had done part of the easter egg and the Zombie you kill in zombie blood was still running round the excavation site. Only the person in zombie blood see's him but when not in zombie blood I believe he still runs around the excavation site.
  15. I have no preference, although if no one else calls dibs on the ice staff I will take it. I like the wind staff but think the ammo count on it is a bit low. As mentioned previously, no one seems to want the lighting staff, don't know why, it is very effective and powerful. I voted for Ice but I would take anyone of them.
  16. This is by far my best WTF moment so far. Round 29, getting a bit late and we all agreed to head down to the crazy place and end the game on round 30. Two of us made it down to the crazy place and 2 remained in no mans land, en-route to the crazy place. We are training and we kill a few zombies and then I shouted quite loudly at 2am WTF, you are f**king kidding me. Come on Treyarch, get these silly error's sorted ffs.
  17. I'll be honest and say I haven't noticed this anti IW sentiment, they have produced good COD games and the parent company (Activision) shafted them a while back. I have a lot of time and respect for those than hung about IW - the only person who I have little time for from IW is FourZeroTwo. He is or was the public relations officer or something along those lines, he actually reminded me a lot of the Iraqi information minister Comical Ali. In that you couldn't trust a word that came out of his mouth and most of what he did come out with, was laughable. He's so far up his own @rs3 it's unreal (that's my view of him anyway). No one can deny, MW and MW2 both represented a good advancement in the COD game - the tend to through out some superb multiplayer maps (Afghan being one of my favourites). As for this new "game mode" lets just wait and see what the bring, everything else until then is pure speculation unless definitive proof is supplied.
  18. Given the nature of how they altered the "Ghosts" skull, I'd think this is the biggest driving point behind the whole "aliens" thing. I.e. it looks like an Alien, so it is Aliens. Fire and electric traps? Oh no you didn't, IW. How "aliens" has come into the equation is anyone's guess. Probably a 12 year old kid currently going through puberty, who seen the images for the achievements and c**e in his pants and thought "alien zombie mode" and his hordes of YouTube followers believe him. I think it's an additional game mode but I don't think it's even based closely to Zombie's. It would appear to me, to be a game mode that will be played on the multiplayer maps or similar to the multiplayer maps. People just see what they want to see and make assumptions based on that, no evidence exists either way and from the achievements leaked. You "cannot" come to the conclusion a game mode similar to Zombies is on the cards.
  19. To be honest I'm sick to the back teeth with COD, I've purchased COD because the mates are getting. It took me 4 months of being harassed to prestige, just didn't see the point. However, Zombie game mode is completely different. I'm only buying future COD titles for this reason. COD has been in the disc tray for nearly a year and it's about to come out when I buy GTA. I'm only going buy ghosts "if" extinction is a mode similar to zombies and it will be for the Xbox One. Otherwise, no COD purchases until the next Treyarch release and only if it has Zombies.
  20. I'm a bit of both, I've kinda fell for the story that is being told. I liked reading the theories for the story where have we been where are we going. The CoDz forum, to be honest I've ran a few forums over the years and personally I would ditch PHPBB, it's (insert expletive here). I still host - we had a thriving community on this for years & then things such as bebo, facebook and others popped up and the community sort of disappeared. At the height we would have our listener count on the radio maxed and the chatroom full. Not plugging here btw, just that the website was a for an extremely popular DJ in Scotland and a dear friend of mine who passed away. Slightly off topic I know, but I'll get the to the point. I thought my days of forum community involvement had disappeared. I found CoDz, I lurked for a while and decided to grab the bull by the horns and join and here I 'am. My enjoyment of Zombies boils down to the community, not just here but in general. Those that know how to play the game make it a fun experience, those that don't make it frustrating as hell.
  21. Difference of opinion, I personally think PHD flopper is a complete waste on this map. Useful in the crazy place, otherwise pretty useless and not worth obtaining imo. I always make sure I get Jug, Quick Revive, Stamin Up, Mule Kick, Double Tap - the others have uses and if I decide to go for the mounds I'll usually get Electric Cherry, for no other reason than I like the effect on reload I'm happy at 5 perks and I think you don't really need anymore than this.
  22. I just had my best WTF moment on origins. Round 27, 3 players down, I'm the last one standing after being revived. Difficult to get JUG as 3 pandzers are on my arse as well as a massive horde of Zombies, no shield. 1 player down in the tank tracks towards the tank station (coming down from JUG), revive the player with the staff and get double slapped at the same time. Players revived but game ended because of the double slap, as the game was ending you could clearly see he was running about, my best WTF moment on origins / zombies. Every player said WTF at the same time lol Can't even get a clip of it because of "Error, you have selected an invalid film or clip" which happens a lot when the game has been over an hour or two.
  23. Lets look at it in a different light, I'm by no means saying it is as good as this story but you can reference it to the books by release. The Hobbit - Great introduction, wasn't really leading anywhere. WaW Lord of the rings - The fellowship of the ring, great introduction to the lord of the rings trilogy, epic bloody epic. Blops 1 Zombies, great introduction, great characters, with a "decent" story being told. Lord of the rings - The two towers, still a fantastic continuation of the story, started getting to know characters and others and more information coming out about them. Not sure which direction things where going but we knew it would takes us to helms deep. Blops 2, nice introduction of new characters more information coming out, not sure were we are going but know it will somehow take us to Agartha (have we even reached Agartha?) Lord of the rings, The return of the king. Wow, what an ending what a story. Blops?? The point I'm making is that even the best book in the world can lead you into thinking, what are they doing, where are we going, I'm lost, I'm confused. Ye have little faith, the writers know what they are doing, they know were we are going and they know what they want and what the end result will/should be. How do we get from the beginning of the story, to the conclusion? Fiction, it is all made up along the way and loose ends are generally cleaned up before the conclusion.
