  2. good read, mostly agree, have a few questions/ideas though,.. if kino is in 1960's, how then is it possible to have a radio transmission of the o4 arriving at kino in Shi No Numa,.. you know the one? is this recording from the future? how is this possible? I not so sure, the map must start before snn sometime, or at the sametime, but I doubt it. think this map is set in more than 1 time. but then how did the tower get there? cotd modern time, and richtofen hands over the dg2, ending our ability to time travel Shangri-la modern time, time traveling temple, time backwards with eclipse, im guessing to the exact moment were supposededly at der riese, there is an eclipse there 2, der riese is also the 1st we time travelled, maybe it wasn't the dg2. moon modern time,.. marlton in nuketown while ol4 on moon, motd ferguson states he was a guard at the prison from 33-42, so its after 1942, he didn't die that new years eve, al did, weeks later the other 3 were executed, ferguson did not die that night he lived and time moved on, mob 4 are forced to relive that night, so there frozen in time, in their new reality(hell probs), the rest of the world is not, brutus lets us know the truth, or all time realy is frozen but when the cycle is broken time is free to move forward again, this kinda happens in die rise with richtofen being able to pull it off, so maybe motd is a taste of what a REAL CONTROLLER can do(pretty crazy stuff in that map) I cant help but wonder if treyarch planned it all from the start, I mean if they didn't, id be willing to go as far as saying there a bit behind us in terms of the story, things like adding the kino intro to a radio in snn when blops arrived, why? maybe they found a hole in their original plot,.. some trearch guy "so we just throw this radio in here,.. and problem solved" then other treyarch guy goes "no, no,.. this is merely to buy us more time, so we can figure out where this story goes, before they do" **points at codz**
  3. surely their z fans, they must play the game, do the ee, at the very least theyd wanna find the 3 teddybears youd think theyd want samanthas voice, maybe the promoters didn't or something? maybe someone should just ask em? a7 that is, why didn't you guys go with sams voiceover? not heavy enough? but then again the first rule of fight club,..
  4. you joined just to ask this? do you represent the band by any chance? it lists the map name only, as these are introductions for the maps, not trailers,.. it also doesn't say featuring, and follow with the names of any voice actors, deisgners, programers, sound tech, other bands, singers, etc, from this intro or any of the others,.. so why does it matter? It matters because the one on Treyarch's youtube channel does say featuring Avenged Sevenfold, and I listen to them enough to know that the first narrator sounds exactly like the singer of the band. So I'm thinking that that is part of the "Feat. Avenged Sevenfold" in the title. So maybe is wasn't meant to sound like Samantha in the first place. I wanted to know if the trailer on CodTV had the feature in the title to see if that was a legitimate possibility. well why didn't you say so, :oops: that actually makes perfect sense, their song they do the voice overs, they need to release this map now, all the intel and theory goin round this past 2 weeks im actually starting to think people in real life are up no good, :roll: :idea: don't mix booze with thinking :lol:

  7. could the second voice be sam's maybe? im thinking not. Samuel can hear voices, we know richtofen is 1, richtofen is in the mpd, not sure if there even is a 2nd voice for Samuel, richtofen can also hear voices, sam is in the mpd? as for maxis, well, its plausible, I mean, how does maxis get from computer to the aether, maybe he's always been in the aether, if he got shot next to the mpd, it would capture his soul, right? so richtofen is in control, but maxis will is strong, he cant just be deleted, and so finds a way to communicate through machines, etc. so maybe the 2nd voice is maxis, trying to get through?

  9. I actually really like that theory, Future Richtofen going into his past self (somehow) maybe to change something? The concept that I'm working out right now is that it is actually that either Richtofen sent himself back, or Maxis sent him back so that way they can guide younger Richtofen in what to do? The voices in Richtofen's head? It's been Richtofen. It's always been Richtofen. But it's been a Richtofen that knows what he's doing. Essentially, Richtofen/Maxis sent him back in time, into younger Richtofen's body so that way NONE of the story ever happens. Maxis keeps his daughter, Richtofen has his body, and the zombie infestation is done. Over. The only reason I'm considering this as even remotely possible is that Treyarch is very heavily hinting that this isn't just the beginning, but it's also the end. very interesting does anyone remember treyarch saying to be carefull with the choices we make around mob of the dead? do we know if more people broke the cycle or continued? givin that on the gg its 3 vs 1 at the end, chances are the cycle continued,.. and maybe this is the beginning and the end, maxis or whatever/whoever sends richtofen back to prevent these things from happening, but maybe its a cycle a loop, richtofen has no idea what has happened, kinda like he just wakes up from a long slumber, and so he continues on none the wiser, doing everything as before until he teleports to the moon touches the mpd, then BAM, it all starts coming back to him, story goes on, somehow he is sent back, or maybe time itself is setback,( dunno, this is the only part that troubles me)and voila, cycle continues,.. :idea: if our choice mattered in buried,.. do you think more people would have completed richtofen, bear with me on this one, if richtofen wins the day, maxis loses, so maybe maxis is the central character that the cycle revolves around, he fails at moon and has a backup plan, if he fails the towers, i think he'd most likely have a backup plan for this aswell, so he fails the towers and richtofen wins and deletes maxis....(again ) maxis failsafe/contingency plan falls into place, somehow reset the clock and start again, so kill maxis to break the cycle? or let him win? maxis backupplan might have failed to take into account not remembering anything hence the cycle, im gon stop here my mind just started doing backflips, keep it coming edit: you got me thinking so hard i forgot to comment on what you said about the voices always being richtofen, kinda makes sense and resulted in my mind doing backflips above, hmmm,.. is their 1 voice? or is it voices? more than 1 voice cant be him surely, but,.. if there were a cycle, is it possible for slightly different events to occur like in Shangri-la? if so, could there be multiple richtofen voices or.. echoes of previous mpd occupants(i like this wording better) coz this is like the 100th time the cycle has continued?
  10. all the pu's work in Public, Solo and Custom, try a custom match and sign in a guest, you'll be playing split-screen but its co-op
  11. maybe theres another criteria for earning it that's been overlooked, no one should be having trouble getting this i mean how hard is it to buy 4 perks on round 1, or before round4, or is it 6 now? i got mine round 1 qr, mk, jug, dt2, also haven't lost it since, it is pretty unreliable however, it doesn't always work! idkw try buying all 4 perks in round 1 just to be certain, also 1 of these perks MUST be Quick Revive, not sure how you lose it though, seems to be with you multiple games, however sometimes it wont work, dunno why, maybe sometin to do with QR unless they just hotfixed it in that isn't true. I NEVER buy quick revive as one of my 4 perks but I have it. do you ever play SOLO? coz 1 of the perks MUST be Quick Revive in SOLO, due mostly to the FACT that you will not get back up after being downed in a solo match without having QR with the exception of die rise of course, running tombstone with who's who is pointless, so it would seem there in in fact some truth to my statement after all :o

  13. im no genius , but doesn't science rely on theory to progress when no other means are available? "even a theory that is disproven, has its purpose" some famous guy said probably the new dlc will bring us the answers,.. and more questions, but, at least some answers,.. .. ..and .. more questions :roll:
  14. Now, that makes a whole lotta sense. Great theory. there is a whole lotta evidence that would support this one way or another, under the town is a hidden facility, with cages, keypads for doors that match with the ones used in five, pentagon is government facility :roll: , the powerstation, is also a hidden government lab, an outhouse leading to an underground power facility, even outside looks as though it it is made to resemble a factory/warehouse, the computers in the room with the power switch have screens on them identical to that in five, the section in the middle of the room that rises up to reveal 'HIM', is some form of holding cell/prison,.. (the local power company has some explaining to do ) whatever went on at green run, is surely some form of government test site, for what, idk? :idea: I think maybe the reused textures hold more clues than we think,..
  15. id just like to say, bo2 zombies is still zombies, wait for the last map, if you still like blops 1 better,.. so be it, hopefully with enough good feedback, treyarch and activision will develop an all zombies game(if theres not already one in the making), just coz they know how much we love this game,.. so please, pretty please, even if you don't like blops 2, pretend that you do for a while, and we may just get blops 3 or a standalone zombies game,..! so instead of campaigning how bad it is, campaign how they can improve on the next instalment! I mean there WILL be another installment wont there treyarch,.. papapapweeeeeeaasse,..! edit: by saying campaigning how bad it is, im not targeting anyone just trying to get an idea for positive campaigning out there :)

I think they are gonna be shootin at us and or the zombies, maybe a trap? check out the origins vid from 1:12 to bout 1:16 or so, just as the charcters heads look up, theres a subliminal msg, then it cuts to you running through a tunnel, you might have to watch 2-3 times to notice but there is definitely machine gun fire coming at you from somewhere, high? looks like a strafing run to me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYj9ceEcIy8

I also didn't notice this, if their is a workbench in the nacht image, perhaps we'll see workbenches and buildables on the old maps like what they did with mule kick? or has anyone noticed that purple lightning ring around that tesla thing, I instantly think die rise purple teleport lightning, so might be a bit far fetched, but maybe, just maybe we can teleport to the old waw maps to start or finish something in the story, :shock: this would be pretty epic im going to look for that bench right now,..!

  23. hello everybody, been kicking round here since blops2 release and finally joined this noble cause 6 months back, so i thought id tell you all a bit about my zombies experience so far, that being said im relatively new to the zombies universe, my mate is old school zombies 8-) and decided to try and hook me upon the release of blops 2, he apparently succeded cod is however not new to me, i have faithfully followed the franchise since its dawn, but i was never online so had no idea bout the map packs, so only ever had couple goes at kino, five and the waw nacht. i never realy got past round 10, never got more than 3 doors anywhere, oblivious to everything going on around me, i quickly gave up on both counts(waw and blops1) ruling them out to be bonus modes like waw, forgotten over time,.. until a fatefull day right before blops2 release, i ran into an old friend and got talkin, i was online by this time slaying multiplayers(mw2 got me online), so exchanged gamertags and later that night, smashed through a few mp maps on mw3, my mates not as good at mp, so it wasn't long before he's like "screw this man you got black ops" im like " :roll: of course i do" he's like "lets play zombies" im like "you can play that online?" he's like" :roll: of course you can" so the disc goes in, "ive only got 2 maps mate"i say, he loads up kino, its seconds later and were in,.. i ask but one question "so what do we do" he begins to speak,.. several rounds later, he's still talking, ive been down couple times and yet, 'somehow he keeps getting me back up!' and then silence,.. he's finally finished telling me stuff. a full round surely past, the information finally settles,.. "power, mystery, wonder, perk, teleportation, time travel, pap, thunder, monkey, traps, crawlers, training, story, maxis, 935, 115, mpd, soul swapping, richtofen, hidden songs, etc, etc,.." BANG mind blown,.. sadly i don't think i have ever fully recovered from that fatefull night, as now my most common feelings are :? :shock: :roll: ,.. not always in that particular order so anyways nearly a a week later or sumtn transit was released, that's right, not blops 2 tranzit, playing kino with my mate opened my eyes, like throwing a handful of berley in the water to get the fish on the bite, soon as treyarch dropped that juicy lookin tranzit bait in the water, i gobbled it up hook line and sinker,.. for me tranzit is an unforgettable map, epic in its own proportions, this is where i learned everything about zombies, my roots will remain there drenched with the blood of keno.. the beauty of this, 4 years of maps, waiting and research all ripe for the picking, rezurection was an easy 1st choice to download and playing moon, shi no numa, der riese, verruct for the 1st time between dlc1&2 drops was amazing , cotd and ascension came next i still haven't played them much, only when im at me mates joint,.. now Shangri-la is the only map i still have never played or seen, he doesn't own this one, i was planning on leaving it for a rainy day,.. well guess what, it rained the other day but didn't buy the map(still avin it ) instead watched this trailer of it for the 1st time,.. wimoweh has been stuck in my head for a week so for old times sake,.. ZYj8CZBtFes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYj8CZBtFes wimoweh, wimoweh, wimoweh*shakes head* after this i got the rest of the trailers from the old maps, "ITS LIKE BEING A KID AGAIN" i just throw one good one in,.. jt_aQ85IWUc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt_aQ85IWUc having so much available was quite overwhelming in the beginning, but i can tell you all a few perspectives from a relative newcomer,.. - the old 4 characters are way more bad ass - the n4 are good characters for their part of the story i like em - all maps are pretty awesome and bring their own feel to the game - with the exception of motd and possibly buried(rgmk2, petrifier(jgmk2), timebomb, big fella) blops 1 has a better variety of wonder weapons and gadgets - the ee in transit should have been waaay bigger - blops 2 feels smoother and nicer, like you've got a bit more sensory perception - waiting for buses and elevators is sh*t but brings a nice challenging aspect to the game that can make or bbreak you - falling off buildings is not funny - blops 1 has a scarier feel - every map released should get a obtainable meelee, primary, secondry grenade(gat-spork-redeemer) - there are way more questions than answers to the story :? :shock: - CODZ is a GOLD MINE of information and experience to learn from anyways, during my 1st weeks in trazit i stumbled across a magical place filled with trolls(activision forums), as i strolled toward the outskirts of this magical place :roll: a mysterious voice(google ) directed me in the right direction, a direction that moves forwards, towards discovery,.. CODZ is where i landed, something of a crossroads in the zombies universe, a place where survivors and adventurers alike gather to exchange and share knowledge, experience and discoveries, while we navigate this maze that is the zombies story,.. this site truly is amazing with all the in depth thought out theories, guides, strategys and their colourfull contributers, hats off to all of you ladies and gentlemen, so thank you all very much, Bloody good to be here,..
