  1. We already saw this with the 2 Russian maps (ascension and call of the dead) having a sickle. Perhaps an American map could have a civilian machete? Or an Italian map could have a wicked cooking utensil (Lolz), or a futuristic map could have a futuristic blade ( I dont mean a light saber but maybe a Bowie knife that looks like the 2025 tomahawk in the trailer). you know what I mean?
  2. I wish I could help you but I'm in the same situation as you. I simply do not posess the constitution or depth of faith needed to go as far as is needed. As a matter of fact, ^^^ what he said! Can someone pm me? It is killing me! P.s. since this idea was rolling around, I heard something that suggests the Parisian catacombs as a map. On ancient aliens there was this ridiculous theory that davinci got his ideas for aircraft from the future because he found portals in Parisian "tunnels". I can see how this could be twisted into him finding teleporters, or a 935 base, or whatever. There is also the fact that the file name for moon is zombie_paris. Hint hint anyone?
  3. Didn't think of it from a 4z4 standpoint. It would be better fitting there. It dePends on what 4z4 actually ends up being. If it is just two teams competing for wonderweapons, points, and what not, it will be the same as normal four player zombies, as it will benefit you just as much then. P.s. mark lamia said something that suggests that opening doors in 4z4 will make those certain areas inaccessible to the other team.
  4. I think it is a clever idea, but even normal juggernog is way more than expert players need. If you upgrade your health further it becomes too OP. honestly I can't think of a scenario where you could take 8 hits in a row, unless you were cornered. The same applies to normal juggernog, but less so. Essentially, a full body pack a punched body armor set in top of juggernog would ensure that you couldn't possibly go down unless you got cornered. You need to realize that most things hat are good have a downside. Most of the time it is just the price. However, the best weapons deal splash damage and are rere finds. You can burn through 20000 on the box before getting any. What I mean to say is that something this beneficial needs to have a downside. It should be either massively expensive or only in the box. Also from a realistic standpoint it should slow your player down immensely.
  5. Yeah it's just supposed to be competing for points and whatnot, but if this was yet another separate mode.... And as I say, it doesn't seem like the kind of thing treyarch would put in anyway.
  6. Although this is a wildly unrelated example, I remember from the game SSBB, there is a "training mode" where you set tgecenenyvto several different sets of AIs, choose which weapons and stuff spawn, an a load of other stuff. I see no reason why this couldn't be implemented into a combat training style zombies mode. -V
  7. How is that any different from a constantly aggressive American, an insane doctor, a perpetually drunk Russian with lots of ex wives, and an honorable quiet Japanese man? I think a woman would be a good idea for mixing it up.
  8. I loved the fly trap, and even though it took about 60 seconds to complete, the evil demon ghost child haunting my ass set the feel for the map all too well. I would like to see an expanded version. My idea is that hidden throughout the map are 8 mechanical parts. Each player must find a part and place it on a large machine. As there are 8 players and 8 pieces, obviously each player finds one. However, each player can only see one part of the device, and the rest are invisible to them. They are randomly assigned to a random piece at the start of the match. Unlike the flytrap, they all apear in a completely random place. I don't mean like the perk machines on shangri-la, I mean that each room of every building has 3 potential spawn points. The parts don't appear until you activate the power and turn on the machine I mentioned above. The machine isn't hidden but is out of the way like the metal door on call of the dead. When you turn it on 8 balls of light fly out into the sky, causing the parts to spawn. Every player must then simultaneously insert them into slots on the machine and a new wonderweapon emerges. This new weapon will be added to the box, making it random who gets it (if anyone.) this shouldn't be the only wonderweapon, as it is difficult to get, but simply an additional bonus weapon. I am not sure whether I want this to be repeated every game in order to access the weapon. I think it probably should be so, and to make up for it it is a beastly bad ass of a gun. If you posess the constitution and depth of faith, you can repeat the Easter egg, making it possible for a maximum of one extra person to have the weapon. You should get an achievement for completing this and another for completing It twice in the same game. Check out my posts on the wunder-ful wonderweapon discussion thread for some ideas for what the weapon could be! -V
  9. Gotcha. Even still, I must speak to the community now and say that a discussion is different than an argument. No need to make heated comments to each other, let alone negative comments that can be seen as offensive to half of the community. As I said at the end of my previous post, keep it professional! This is why we're a community, not a family! Jk -V
  10. Here is already a thread on this topic. Btw firing range is my favorite map (besides nuke town but that doesn't count).
  11. I started the thread with the intent of creating a discussion page for panic knifing and people's opinions on the concept. I seem to have achieved that goal. I then proceeded to tell my opinion in order to start the discussion. I am sorry if I came off as one sided, but that was my intention. Later on I go on to provide ideas for the anti panic knifes side. Either way, I am sorry if I came off as offensive or hyper-subjective. As for my fellow slayers, keep it professional.
  12. I did notice that Elena focused on Sam, but not the other part!
  13. No no no! You misunderstand! I'm just throwing out ideas! I definitely don't want all of these! There would be more wall melee weapons than normal weapons! I'm just putting out a variety of options do all of you can decide which have a good balance of price, power, range, and speed. I personally believe that there should only be 2 or 3 max to choose from. I posted a wonderweapon idea on another thread about a melee wonderweapon called the whip of lost souls, but that was more for the hilarity of the idea. Melee weapons can't take over a shooter, let alone THE BEST SHOOTER. -V
  14. Forgot to mention bludgeoning weapons! How about: Baseball bat: medium damage, medium swing time, costs 3000. Spiked bat: high damage, medium swing time, 4000. Crowbar: high damage, quick swing time, 5000. Brass knuckles: medium damage, lightning quick melee time, costs 5000. Shovel: medium damage, slow swing time, costs 2500. Blunt axe: high damage, slow swing time, costs 4000. -V
  15. Here are some ideas I came up with: Machete: medium damage, medium swing time, costs 4000. Katana: high damage, medium swing time, costs 5000. Extra combat knife: doubles the speed of your melee, same damage as combat knife, costs 1000. Sledgehammer, huge damage, slow swing time, costs 5000. Halberd: massive damage, medium slash time, costs 7500. Trench spike: massive damage, lightning quick stab speed, costs a whopping 10,000. CHAINSAW: this takes up an actual weapon slot and is on the mystery box. It has 100 ammo, and each second you hold down the trigger it burns about 2-3 ammo. When it reaches zero, you must pull on the cord for about 6 seconds until it starts again. You hold it like you would hold a death machine with the blade facing outward. For every second the teeth are touching zombies they receive 500 damage. As it takes up a weapon slot you can pack a punch it. It's name becomes the CATACLYSM SAW. It is the same except with 150 ammo and double the power. It looks futuristic and metallic, rather than rusty and crudely painted like its unupgraded counterpart. It makes a continuous laser sound while chewing up deadheads once upgraded. What do you think? -V
  16. I don't know about him hinting at a wonderweapon, but it probably is zombie related. Maybe involves the creation of crawlers via nova six, or something along those lines.
  17. Hello my fellow zombie slayers! I come before you today to present my idea for a 4z4 zombie mode! From what I understand it will be more along the lines if competing for kills and points, etc. I do not believe this will ever be implemented into black ops 2 or any sequel, but I still want feedback on the idea. I call it WAFFLE SHOWDOWN! This takes place on zombie maps and multiplayer maps. It will be a mosh pit type game mode where any game mode From multiplayer can be played, and they are chosen randomly. However, there is a catch! At the start of each game, as soon as the countdown reaches zero, the mystery box jingle will play. The weapons in everyones' hands will scroll through all of the wonder weapons, finally settling. No 2 players can have the same weapon. Of course they would all traditionally be a one hit kill on players based on their damage. They will be modified accordingly. players will duke it out with their favorite fictional weapons if mass destruction! Ray gun: this will take 3 hits to kill someone. Some believe that it is still overpowered, but as some guns with regular bullets. Take 3 shots and have twice the fire rate, this seems fair. Plus it only has one magazine. Scavenger: this will be a one hit kill still. It will work exactly like it does in zombies, except that the torpedo thing glows red so that it is easier to avoid. It only has one magazine. Thundergun: this will cause critical damage and throw enemy players back. It only has 2 shots but is effective for clearing clusters of enemies. Wunderwaffe DG-2: it acts like it does in zombies, except that its chain effect loses power with every link. As it is only 4 people per team, the likelihood of the chain effect even occurring on a large map is very small. The player who is directly hit will not die, but sustain heavy damage. Winter's Howl: this comes with 2 magazines. It is considered unfavorable as it takes an entire clip to kill someone. The first shot slows them down immensely, but they thaw out after several seconds. Each shot on the same person simply resets the time it takes to thaw. For example they defrost after 5 seconds. You shoot them, wait 3 seconds, and shoot them again, and they now must wait 5 seconds again. VR-11: this comes with only 2 magazines. It gives your teammates painkiller like effects for several seconds, and weakens enemies. However, if you shoot an enemy several times with it they die, and respawn ON YOUR TEAM for one life. This will most likely go unnoticed by the player, who will then proceed to wreak havoc in their own comrades for one life. 31-79JGB215: this will not act like it does in zombies. It comes with 2 magazines and it causes players who are hit by it to be flashed as though they are hit by a stun grenade. If anything would be difficult, it would be programming the ability to shrink teammates into multiplayer. It therefore needs to have a different effect. It can stun them, and also damage them half way. The effect of the stun is dependent on the range, and the damage is only present at close range. This is sort of the shotgun of Wonderweapons. Wave gun: this will be a highly sought-after weapon. It's wave gun will simply force players back and damage them at a long range. It's damage and push effect are less powerful than that of the thunder gun, but two shots are still enough to kill a player. The zap guns will come with 2 magazines per gun. They have the same power as the ray gun but have massively reduced range and accuracy. All four tactical grenades will be present, with 2 on each team. They will be given randomly at the start of each game. There will always be 2 per team. The people who get them are chosen randomly. Gersch Device: it pulls players towards it, and when they reach it they don't die, they just get held to it. Monkey bomb: your aim constantly gets pulled so that you are always looking in the monkey's direction. the explosion is still deadly. Dolls: these act as a cluster bomb, the 9 bang of the lethal grenades. Pretty self explanatory. QED: these can both bless and curse you in this mode as well. It can swap the teams' scores, retool the weapons, grenades, or both, give or take a random amount of points towards winning depending on the game mode, give all players the same weapon for a short amount of time, and many more! Do you like the idea? It will likely never be even considered by trey arch, but I still want your opinions! -V
  18. The main thing that pisses me off when you ascend into high rounds is frag grenades and Semtex. Beyond round 30 you can chuck down 4 grenades and make no crawlers. This is understandable because it adds to the challenge, decreasing the effectiveness of them like they do with guns as the rounds progress. However, the main thing that I want to see involving grenades is present starting at round one. Zombies do not so much as get knocked over by frag grenades! Beyond round thirty, grenades lose their effectiveness, as I stated above. They are still freaking grenades though! They should knock both zombies and players on their asses! This could balance it out. Scatter a mob of zombies at the risk of you getting hit by the explosion, resulting in you being blinded, stunned, and with critical health, all while surrounded by zombies. This should work for any explosives ad a matter of fact! They removed the minimum distance for grenade launchers which is advantageous and risky at the same time. Is this really so different? It is a higher benefit, but it is a higher risk too. I would love to see this in blops2. -V
  19. I think that it is possible that this isn't depicting the map on black ops 2 but the final flex map. This could then be Samantha, after zombies has ended and she took revenge on richtofen's for killing maxis and fluffy and trapping her in the mpd. That would mean that that is richtofen's head... It's possible but not likely... I hope I'm wrong because I would have to kick Samantha's ass if she touched my richtofen! I restart solo games dozens of times so that I can be ze doctah!
  20. How about the possibility of us not being able to stab within a second or two of being shot? Ia possible explanation is that you are flinching too hard or are stunned. That way you could sneak up on people and have the classic advantage. Also if you suddenly ran into someone you could both knife and have 50/50 like normal, which seems fair enough to me. However, you would no longer have an unfair disadvantage if you shoot at someone at point blank. Seems to be a fair compromise to me! I don't want to spend a precious create a class point on something that we have taken for granted for years! The knife has been the same in multiplayer, campaign, spec ops, survival, and oh yes, ZOMBIES since cod4! -V
  21. When did they say the knife was a 2 hit kill? Is it in the game play, because I haven't seen all of it. Someone let me know where it was shown please! -V
  22. Hmmm, if it is a Nikolai quote he is probably commenting on the fact that there IS a cyborg zombie. I would imagine it being slow and moving jerkily . If you shoot a certain body part enough it shuts down and breaks. Therefore you would have to kill it piece by piece. Maybe it could even shoot at you somehow (laser vision?) this is unlikely but it would not be unlike napalm zombies; they have massive health and power but are slow. A ranged attack would be a bit unfair, but it could throw flames, self-destruct, or set off blinding wonic bursts, like a next gen napalm zombie and shrieker. I kind Of miss bosses having their own waves, as they haven't been seen since ascension. There could be several coming at a time like dogs. They wouldn't be hard at a distance but could come from all directions and deny you a way to run away. I don't know about you, but being surrounded by those Clangy metal motherfuckers would be enough to scare me to death. Maybe an unconventional way to bring fear back to zombies... Anyway that's my take on what cyborg zombies would be like.
  23. @way2goo: FACEPALM ............................................________ ....................................,.-‘”...................``~., .............................,.-”...................................“-., .........................,/...............................................”:, .....................,?......................................................\, .................../...........................................................,} ................./......................................................,:`^`..} .............../...................................................,:”........./ ..............?.....__.........................................:`.........../ ............./__.(.....“~-,_..............................,:`........../ .........../(_....”~,_........“~,_....................,:`........_/ ..........{.._$;_......”=,_.......“-,_.......,.-~-,},.~”;/....} ...........((.....*~_.......”=-._......“;,,./`..../”............../ ...,,,___.\`~,......“~.,....................`.....}............../ ............(....`=-,,.......`........................(......;_,,-” ............/.`~,......`-...............................\....../\ .............\`~.*-,.....................................|,./.....\,__ ,,_..........}.>-._\...................................|..............`=~-, .....`=~-,_\_......`\,.................................\ ...................`=~-,,.\,...............................\ ................................`:,,...........................`\..............__ .....................................`=-,...................,%`>--==`` ........................................_\..........._,-%.......`\ ..................................., I like the ideas. I think only green power ups should count though. Death machine and lightning bolt against players is crazy, not in a good way. In mp, death machines were fun, but if you could down each other with it that would be too much. The other ideas are good though. The ? Thing makes perfect sense, but it would be better if the person who touches it while it is invisible gets their points reset to zero. That way it would be less of a gamble. I mean, what if you had 5000 points and swapped with someone with 500? I guess the gamble would make it interesting though. -V
  24. If you haven't heard, the new killstreak system is based on points so I guess playing to objective will help you get them. I guess you unwittingly proved that killstreaks contribute to further killstreaks or "score streaks " as i believe they are now called. -V
