  1. Ourobos is correct. It is related to the who's who glitch. Sometimes it effects the ability to knife; sometimes it doesn't.
  2. I haven't tried PaPing to fix it, but rebuying who's who, going down again, or getting through a boss round are all things that I've had "fix" it. As for a certain probability of happening, once it happens once it happens the rest of the game. At least that's been my experience. Well, I would say otherwise. I tried re-buying Who's Who to fix it. However, it is a short-term fix ONLY. One game it happened to me, and I did that to fix it, SEVEN TIMES. IN ONE GAME. When I found out about the Pack-A-Punching thing, it never happened to me again that game. (And both games were surviving until about Round 30.) Thank you MMX, next time I'll try Paping to really fix it for good.
  3. I'd pick Relaxing. I've never seen videos of anyone I'd say was hands down better overall.

  5. Its all well and good to fix these things but you would think they could fix who's who then? I glitch almost everytime I'm revived with it now. Tonight, after going down with who's who, I couldn't switch weapons, pull out the tramp, claymores, or grenades until I bought who's who again (jesus that has activision written all over it). Or went down again and lost all my perks. This happened over and over again to me and another guy in the lobby. Pretty shitty having 6 perks and needing to down yourself to get to your sallies . The other day same thing, only I could access equipment but I couldn't knife. I can see the bad who's who spawning being maybe hard to fix (spawned outside the building yesterday and plummeted to my death) but this crap? C'mon it BS. Maybe if they stopped worrying about ruining the game for a second(aka nerfing sliquifier and Jet Gun) and fixed some of the bugs that are breaking the game... /rant
  6. My life is getting more and more hectic, and i'm getting back into golf again after a 3 year hiatus due to a injury. So I seriosuly doubt i'll be setting any more Records anytime soon. Be sure to post here on the site if you happen to get any records yourself. Happy gaming. -Whiskey Whiskey did you really not get hit once the entire video? I watched part but not all of it. That's quite amazing in itself. I think you're still on my friends list hop on and play some BO II sometime bro. :)
  7. No problem man Yeah if they are EMP'd and you leave the area they will respawn on you. Running them down to the PaP could work as well, as long as it's open that is.
  8. Happens to me all the time too Grill. Also, whenever I first start my xbox, if I don't give it some time before trying to run the game it will freeze 9 times out of 10. If I try to going to multiplayer as soon as the game starts (I have zombies as default) it will also freeze. And this freeze isn't something you can dashboard out of. The damn power button doesn't even work. No you have to literally unplug the power cord. :? It's pretty damn annoying to say the least.
  9. Holy dag...wonder if he put that in relation to something I recently tweeted to him(may have sent a series of rather, extensive tweets) Regardless this is momentous (as far as confirmation as people have thought this for some time...) enormously great news...this goes to show that resetting accounts is mute...and that overall stats are in fact disregarded in the result of your final rank... Rather your immediate previous games, the kills/revives/downs and other stats associated with that game are the resulting factor of how one ranks up... Bout to stop playing for a week (itll be difficult believe me) so that I'll have a fresh, "persistent" slate and will try to maintain only round 35+ games...with as little downs as humanly, and then some, possible...will post results... THANK YOU SINCERELY for posting this series of tweets... Not sure that I buy this tbh. The reason is my friend who left his xbox on while he was at work. It obliterated his k/d down to a 2.5 (he kept getting put into lobbies all day) and came back home to see a single bone and 5 tallies. He then got stuck on single bone for quite some time, weeks in fact, despite playing at his normal level. Finally, after getting his k/d around 40-50 he ranked up to double bone where he then got stuck again. After resetting his stats he was able to get the knife within 2-3 days of playing. I don't see how he could of been stuck a single bone for so long if the system did not use your lifetime stats in determining rank.
  10. I went down on the roof the other day, in the little passageway between the bowie knife and the main roof area. All the zombies that were with me got clumped and stuck in there with me. A kid in the lobby tried to come revive me, I told him to stay away. It was a massacre.
  11. Nice post Tom, I think that patching is an important and useful tool when used in the correct situations, but it's something that devs can easily go overboard on. The Jet Gun patch is really disappointing to be honest. That was a fun strategy that allowed you to proceed as far as you liked within a reasonable timeframe. It was not anywhere as easy as something like the knuckles spawn zone and should not have been patched. They took away the only reason to still play TranZit solo in my opinion. Patching should be used when something is breaking the game or severely taking away from the gaming experience. I feel too often a patch is introduced which takes away a fun aspect of the game (sliquifier/jet gun) and doesn't give anything back. If a patch makes the game less fun, how is that a good alteration to the game? We play these games for fun, sometimes untended game mechanic exploits can make the game more fun. They (the devs) need to walk the line and decide if something is hurting the gaming experience more than it adds to it. Considering their recent decisions, I'd say they are not looking at it in this way, and are rather trying to stop anything which is unintended from happening. A prime example of this is the 4 sliquifier glitch which was hot-fixed within hours of Die Rise's release. Yet, barrier glitches were found and released within the same timeframe which were left and only now have begun to be fixed. A barrier glitch takes away from the game, especially in co-op (go down and see the reason you were not revived is someone sitting in a glitch without ammo and you'll quickly see why). Four sliquifiers do not take away from the game, instead they open up more possibilities. This shows the ideology that Treyarch is using when fixing exploits and problems in the game. They are more likely to take away good clean fun and "gray-area" glitches then stop blatant and game breaking glitches.
  12. Ahh shucks sorry to anyone that has been trying to make this work. Looks like I posted this a day too late.
  13. I'm upset I have lost the oppurtunity to really try for the 100 doing this. I really only gave it one try so far and made it to 53 with whos who in a less than desirable location. I would have loved to be able to give it a few more gos considering I'm getting more comfortable kiting in the room. Oh well, guess I missed my oppurtunity, should of played more.
  14. Not sure how this is hurting anything. Tbh the game should allow stat resetting anyways considering how bad of a rank system they implemented. In my friends case he was stuck on single bone because the lobby never kicked him. The galvaknuckle spawn zone is more of an exploit then this is. If there is something about this you find wrong please share it. @Luck; not sure what troubles you are having? make sure you are in local when you re-sign in. I'm not sure if it works on pc, i don't see why not...but i'm not sure.
  15. Now I haven't actually done this myself, but from what I've read you stil have the achievements but the towers are not lit after doing this. That leads me to believe that this will in fact reset the EE's, at least for in-game purposes. My friend hadn't done much but by leaving himself in a lobby had racked up 1500 downs while only having 4000 kills If anyone who has had stat corruption via local could list any negative affects they've noticed it would be greatly appreciated! EDIT: @schittus_d Thanks! Just saw this.
  16. Hi fellow slayers, So I've recently come across a very quick and easy way to reset your stats. Technically, it is a glitch and could have some unknown consequences; don't say I didn't warn you. Sorry to any mods that have an issue with this, but I really didn't think it was hurting anything and have seen several posts asking for a way to reset your stats. As far as I know this method works on all platforms. The patch today may have affected xbox 360 but it wasn't in the patch notes and my friend reset his last night. This is a great way for people wishing to perform comprehensive tests on the ranking system to do so without making new accounts! Also, for anyone who really dug themselves a hole and wants shotties (my friends case) it gives you a second chance. (He left his xbox on and got put into matches all day when he was at work, his k/d was 2.54 when he got home ) I didn't find this, nor do I know who deserves the credit, I'll post a video at the bottom from iowagaming where I first saw it. Basically, it forces stat corruption via the local gamemode. Step 1: Sign in to xbox live/psn/etc and go to the Zombies Main Menu. Step 2: Unplug your internet cable from your console. Turn off your router if wireless. Just make your console lose connection with the internet. On xbox you'll see a message saying you were disconnected from xbl. You should see something similar on the other platforms. Step 3: Click on local, and enter the map select screen. Step 4: Press B on xbox or the go back button on other platforms. You should see a message asking you if you want to exit. Step 5: Plug back in your internet cable/reconnect your router and sign back into your online profile. Step 6: Now click "yes" to go back to main menu, you should get a little lag and see the maxis diary entry. Now you're a single bone again, your stats should be straight zeros (kills, revives, downs, etc). I don't believe this affects your leaderboard high rounds but don't take my word on it. I just guided my friend through it and haven't done it myself. Here's a video walkthrough by iowagaming, where I first saw this done. WMWNX8dktlg
  17. Glad to see they patched some of the barrier glitches on Die Rise. Played a game with randoms the other day, all was well until I went down and realized every other player was in a barrier glitch :? . Doesn't appear they fixed the local stat corruption or the galva-knuckle spawn zone.
  18. How many total kills do you have? You need at least 20K before you are able to get shotties I believe.
  19. It reminded me of either a Swat-556 or FAL OSW, of course with a sniper scope, I honestly believe it's fake. Way too soon after the first DLC. And the "Left 4 Dead" style hand doesn't sit well with me. And "Plane"? Unless they were too lazy to make a name, which we know 3arc can be pretty creative, I can't see this as a real DLC. Haha yeah "plane" and "water" sound like serious map names .
  20. Although his title is slightly misleading, he's actually asking a different question then your thread addressed. @OP I think you are correct, EMPs would be the easiest way of depositing your funds without those pesky runners interupting you every ten seconds. Since they don't damage the zombies they also let you get back to your training spot before starting a new round as well. I would not suggest using monkeys/making crawlers/or doing anything that damages the zombies unless you are training in town itself. Otherwise you'll be running back while the new round starts which can be dangreous depending on the round and where you are heading. What I do normally (as I can't really be arsed to hit the box for emps a lot of the time) is just save one zombie. Run to town, go to bank deposit as much as I can until I hear the zombie right on me, run him over towards jugg, and repeat. Yeah it's annoying and may take a little longer to get your money in than otherwise, but I've never gotten downed doing it and it's generally quite safe. It also allows you to get back to your training spot safely. Just don't try it with too many zombies, I usually keep two at the max. They can trap you in there if you have too many runners.
  21. In WaW if you got inside a teammate by jumping on them while prone, it put you and your teammate in a barrier glitch where nothing could touch you. Since you could perform this basically anywhere you could do this by any wall gun or even the box. The auto-down feature keeps this barrier glitch from being exploited. So no, it should definitely not be fixed. I know this. Instead of causing you to go down can't they make it so the two players repel off each other or something? Oh ok, I guess I misunderstood what you meant. Yeah I'm not sure how much work it would take to fix the barrier glitch with out making you auto down. I guess I just assumed it would be hard for them to do, since they have used the death barrier over multiple titles now. I think they should shoot both players into the air like rockets when it happens, then you die from the fall damage whereever you might land.
