  7. I'm hoping that the new map(s) introduce a lot of new gameplay features (like Der Riese did back in waw/MotD in blops2). So that the new map isn't just Zombies in a new location, but an all-new 'Zombies Experience'.

  10. Thank you very much from both of us. Yes that's true and will be adressed. Usually we check everything a couple of times but because of my drive problem we currently cannot. Nuketown noted. Also we've set a deadline for ourselves for the Buried quotes. It is currently the 7th of August. Just so people can get a general idea of when new quotes will be added.
  11. His exact words are "If you're so eager to re-enter the physical world Richtofen, I will grant you that wish!"; he doesn't let Richtofen enter Samuels body. He traps Richtofen inside a zombie, which appears from time to time, has blue eyes and always drop a powerup when killed. Hoping here we'll see the N4 again, they had some really good quotes. Shame people didn't like them.
  12. Hi everyone. In this thread are nearly all the meaningful Black Ops 2 story quotes scripted. Categorized by map | character. This thread currently covers: Green Run new! | Nuketown Zombies. | Great Leap Forward. | Mob of the Dead. | Resolution 1295. new! and Grief/Turned new! Currently working on adding Origins. Please note that since these are directly scripted from the game files - there are numerous quotes listed here that were cut sometime during development and thus will never actually trigger in-game. Most of these are Sidequest-related quotes and pretty much all of Brutus' dialogue.   13. Shangri-La was made by Jimmy's 'team' and Raven Software. Again, this is not true. Just because Jimmy isn't in the promotional video doesn't mean he or his 'team' wasn't involved. Reza Elghazi (Z producer) tweeded about Mob and there was even an interview with Jason AND Jimmy Zielinski about Zombies. Jason Blundell even said that the whole dev team (which consisted of 20+ people) went to Alcatraz. 20 people. Calling that the Campaign Team is a joke. Jimmy's 'Zombies Team' hasn't and won't be taken out of any dlc map. If this were true on MoTD, explain how Brian and Kevin's music ended up there. Don't tell me they asked Brian (audio directer) to make the MoTD score, whilst Jimmy's team was "already working ahead on Buried". In order to avoid confusion please choose your words carefully. "Made by the campaign team" means made by the whole campaign team. There's no evidence that apart from Jason and Cowell (sound) any SP dev even touched Mob.
  14. Mob of The Dead wasn't made by the "Campaign Team". They merely got the Executive Campaign Producer Jason Blundell onboard to help set a new (larger) budget. Jason brought in devs that work on SP (or even MP who knows) to help design and make the map in time - he did not bring the whole SP team in. Jimmy's Team worked just as much on MoTD as the so-called "campaign" guys did. Also Liam, they don't get huge chunks of time. 1-2 months at best is the deadline for dlc maps. They said so themselves.
  15. Shoot TEDD when the bus crosses the bridge, and he'll drive it off the bridge. Do [insert random thing here] and a second bus will appear. Der Riese: Throw a frag in here, you'll upgrade it. Press F/X on this red jar, you'll get upgraded juggernog. Shooting/Completing the FlyTrap will make the game harder. (It does mess up the sounds sometimes) In FIVE, follow the Thief and jump with him in the Teleporter when he's about to leave and you'll teleport to his lair. In FIVE, teleport with another player to the panic room at the exact same time. (This was more of a troll, since both players will end up going down by doing this)

  17. Using bolt snipers since Kino so I really like this. Now please do the same with the RPG and War Machine. The War Machine is literally useless.
  18. Not to mention the characters interact much more with eachother and the map in MoTD. Buried reminds me of Ascension; really really easy and gets boring way too quickly. But in Buried's defense, haven't played it with others yet. (not sure if I want to with reports of trolling randoms shooting leroy/bigguy/macklemore/annoying ai the first second he gets out of his cage)
  19. Saying any map is made by the Campaign team is well, a lie. Because you're basicly saying the other teams (Zombies/Raven) had no involvement whatsoever in said map's creation. That is not true. Jimmy's Zombies' Team worked on every map. However given the restricted deadline of - I think one month at best - per map, it's likely they got people from Raven and/or the Campaign Team to help them out from time to time. (modders, scripters etc.) As the Zombies' budget increases, they ask for more help. For example; In Ascension (which re-used a LOT of assets from the campaign/mp) they didn't require additional help. In Shangri-La, which re-used almost no assets from the campaign/mp and has a lot of new FX environment sounds, they got Raven Software to help them out with concept art/3D modeling, scripting and sound design. Now in Mob of the Dead, I think Jimmy's team realised they didn't had the budget, time, and people to pull it off. So they got the Producer (Jason Blundell) of the campaign team involved (notice how in the trailers Jason's referred to as Zombies Executive Producer. He pulled people from his team to help with the map, got a new budget, people for mo-cap and well made the map. This also happend in the Die Rise-trailer. Where we got the Zombies' Producer Rez Elghazi talking about the map. So with MotD they got 'Zombies Executive Producer' Jason Blundell to talk about it, probably because he made it happen. So in short: Sometimes they just pull people from Raven and/or the campaign team to help them finish the map in time. It's not like the whole Campaign team takes over and Jimmy's Team gets cast aside for the next map.
  20. A good name for a map directly reveals the general setting and idea surrounding said map. (Map which takes place in a german theater, => 'kino_'. Map set underground; 'buried'. And so forth) So if the map were to be called 'Gateway', the whole map would need to revolve around said gateway. You said it yourself: the majority of the map takes place in Agartha. So calling it Agartha would be much more likely. Fear Tedda.
  21. They won't put every gun into Zombies because there needs to be a good balance between the quantity of good and bad weapons the player(s) can get. The simple reason they won't add a few new guns in like the peacekeeper and/or replace guns with other guns is sheer laziness. Don't know about the fal but I highly doubt naming it "Fn Fal" "Fal" or even "Nikolai's Falafel" will change the weapon's file size at all, so don't believe the cut down of the code story.
  22. "It's not laziness" "Its if that map/mode really needs it" = laziness. Believe me they have quite enough memory to put whatever new guns they want in the map. Adding new guns is not related to memory issues. It's two lines of C++ code. TWO lines.
  23. Any weapon can be a wall weapon or put into the box, by the means of one simple title update. This also applies to putting weapons that are only present in one or two maps (like the AN94/M27) available in every map. But yeah, Treyarch's too lazy to do that.
  24. They didn't patch it because the update was already finished days- if not a week or two ago and from that moment on they awaited approval from Microsoft to actually bring the update out. During that period they can't just go back and add more to said update.
