  1. As a fellow Christian I understand the importance of God and religion. I hope that you continue to think about us and that everything you'll do helps you understand God and life a little better. I know I've questioned his existence and lost faith at times, but in the end, something keeps pulling me back to God. Not sure what is but I know and I believe in good things out there. Nick, I'll speak to you in two years. because this site will still be around and that's something I can believe in. Have fun on the mission! Ehj~
  2. Talk to me when KingJaq plays No Man's Land and gets 80 on Nacht. In my opinion, those are two most coveted records in all of zombies, and Hands has both of them. Well, had No Man's Land, but he should have it back soon, or maybe he already does? Ehj~
  3. So good! This looks pretty cool. Of all the iOS zombie maps, this is the one that's made me want to go ahead and get it. Really stand-out work here Rissole. All hail the King of iOS! Ehj~
  4. One day, I hope to see guys like VzualVenom and boysta2011 be more active on the forums. Pishizor as well. All three already have accounts. It's just getting a bit lonely here, that's all. Things seem to be livening up around the forum, everywhere but here. That's my observation and my concern. The people who really love strategy seem to be so few and far between. I guess I just need to be more patient, but seriously, the fact that one of the best, if not the best, players in the world, took the time to make strategy guides and videos for strategies he probably hasn't used for ages shows real dedication and love for this area of the forum. Just a few things on my mind. Don't worry about my honesty. Only few will see it anyway. Ehj~
  5. To add on to this, MMX, can we move this to media center and then sticky it? If you are okay with us posting videos everywhere that is. Ehj~
  6. Anyway, I'm really excited to get to use this in the [R]MZG and I hope that you agree when I say this is probably a beginner's section type deal. Overall a really good guide. [tab][/tab]Every single zombies player out there needs to know these strategies. They are essential to not just surviving, but thriving in the world of Call of Duty Zombies. Amazing work as always, my friend. Ehj~
  7. Challenge (Ascension)- The MP5K Massacre Rules: [*:2ghvwq4p]Leave door from MP5K to middle area closed. This means you must open both the top and bottom doors of spawn room. [*:2ghvwq4p]MP5K and M&S. No Sickle, no Claymores. [*:2ghvwq4p]Free perk bottles okay. [*:2ghvwq4p]Do not go up the stairs to the lander. Area from window to staircase is the operational spot. [*:2ghvwq4p]Flopper optional. [*:2ghvwq4p]Trains are okay. [*:2ghvwq4p]No buying perks mid-round except Flopper (if you want to risk it) [*:2ghvwq4p]Can leave on monkeys (obviously) and at the end of round with crawler or less than 5 zombies left. [*:2ghvwq4p]3-4 player challenge
  8. RelaxingEnd is someone you can't even question for the last spot. The man is humble, funny, and just gets everyone to love the game. When I see a vid of his, I feel like playing zombies. That's influence. Ehj~
  9. Who would be interested in doing the catwalk challenge on Ascension? Ehj~
  10. Now for some of you who have questions: this is a completely new guide that only carries over one old guide and uses Superhands' newest strategies (some of which have never been seen). With it, I've added one more major author to the roster (bringing the total of major authors to 6- major constitutes contributing a few critical guides to the whole thing), as well as included the Easter Egg Guides to Call of the Dead and Moon. A very detailed report on all the authors and their accomplishments. 2. [REDEFINED] How to be a Good Zombies Player by Ehjookayted and perfectlemonade These are the guides that are niche type guides that include things such as advanced perk discussion, Tom's collection of quick tips, and resources for all zombie players of all skills. I also hope to include MegaAfroMan's Weapon Guide in here as well. 4. Beginner Guides by Ehjookayted, Tom852 and jayghf1978 Guides that really push your gameplay to the next level. These guides are excellent for the player that wants to challenge himself. Solo then co-op are both covered and this will be the longest section of the guide. An understanding of game mechanics are required for this section to be fully understood. Maps will be covered one by one in this order. [*:1jgjpaq7]Kino der Toten [*:1jgjpaq7]Five [*:1jgjpaq7]Dead Ops Arcade [*:1jgjpaq7]Nacht der Untoten [*:1jgjpaq7]Verruckt [*:1jgjpaq7]Shi No Numa [*:1jgjpaq7]Der Riese [*:1jgjpaq7]Ascension [*:1jgjpaq7]Call of the Dead [*:1jgjpaq7]Shangri-La [*:1jgjpaq7]Moon No Man's Land is the name of the game for this section, with other cool challenges included as well. A bonus here is the camping guide, on how to really maximize your ammo and survive the longest in one location. This guide will also include cool weapon set-ups and such, for any occasion. Easter Egg Guides will be included as well. Think of this as the fun section of the guide. Anything left out will be addressed by me. This section might not even be necessary! Enjoy it all guys. Also, the entire guide will follow this format below: If you have any questions about guides or want more specific details, I'll answer them as best I can in the rest of the thread! Ehj~
  11. My List [*:28ofjkna]Back Pool- easier to shoot, more consistent spawns, not as dependent on a good start [*:28ofjkna]Side Drop- better when your start is very good, easier to survive, faster spawns b71-WSJTCR4 Ehj~
  12. Character Colors and The Evolution of the Distraction Strategy As far as implications concerning this information. It tends to pay off when you're messing about in No Man's Land, trying to PAP and get Juggernog. But something that I found to be the best use of this, is to use it for a co-op strategy. After watching a very solid, yet rather old ZeusCannons video, I realized that his strategy was not only extremely fast, but also pretty cool in how it explored, almost even exploited game mechanics. Have a look. L7HwZze6Fac What are the set-backs and advantages to a strategy like this? Well simply put, you're obviously going to keep the zombies with one person, and coupled with the fact that one play is sitting in the corner, it'll make things significantly easier for revives. In order to accomplish the strategy, however, the second player must be yellow or green. I've generally found that the blue player still gets a few zombies when doing such a strategy. Anyway, where else can you implement this type of strategy? Let's list out the few places I know where it works quite well. [*:16dkq019]MPL Room Ascension (door to spawn closed) [*:16dkq019]Bio Dome Moon (door from labs to Bio Dome closed) [*:16dkq019]Tunnel 11 Moon (sort of) Okay, so we're all not going to use these tactics for high round gameplays, but when camping and doing challenges it's best to remember this set of rules. In four player games, you begin to see more roles develop. [*:16dkq019]White- trainer, slayer, risk-taker [*:16dkq019]Blue- slayer, back-up white player [*:16dkq019]Yellow- part-time medic, corner sitter [*:16dkq019]Green- full time medic, corner sitter My advice to you all is to experiment with the character colors and kind of figure out what you feel most comfortable with. While the high round strategies are not the most exciting, they get the job done. Always remember though, that when it comes down to it, distance is a bigger factor in determining who the zombies chase. If you are far from the zombies and white, and green downs because he is closer to the zombies, don't go around complaining. Distance trumps colors because the AI is programmed to go for the closest player. However, when the distance between players is negligible, that's when this guide takes effect. You'll be surprised as well, at how many times you see character colors come into effect. [tab][/tab]My name is Ehjookayted AKA EyeCntSpel and enjoy the guide! Ehj~
  13. Only used the back pool once or twice in my time in NML. I analyzed some videos of the back pool and realized it's pretty good if you don't have good PAP-Jugg time, like me. So I'm starting to test it out. Got a 230 before dying and failing this morning but the file got corrupted. Oh well, here's an even bigger fail. b8ZhCxpIuCE Ehj~ P.S. Messing around with settings in Vegas, quality looks decent from afar.
  14. 70 on Call of the Dead? I cannot wait to see that. Or a 60? 100 on Dead Ops? Ehj~
  15. Aw yeah, the long awaited Verruckt round 120. This man is a legend. Congratulations, Hands. You don't just deserve this record. You earned this record. Did you know that he played to round 80 on Verruckt (a feat in itself), and then his power went out? He then played it again. A back to back 80+ run on one of the hardest zombie maps to stay focused and stay alive in. Truly something to marvel at. Ehj~
  16. Don't say sorry for putting working out there that deserves some credit for that influence that it will undoubtedly bring. Ehj~
  17. The Challenge will be divided into two sections (most revives and best revives to downs ratio). The winners will get brains on their last two posts. You can always submit multiple entries; just know that your best score will be taken into account. [tab][/tab]If you wish to enter into a more challenging version of the challenge, play your games on one of the Classic Maps. The winner if the score comes from that map will get extra brains. Good luck to all and check out some famous examples! Ehj~ V1Zo_WmfIto wj3c_scz544 kYHlbHHHXaM
  18. Really cool information, thoroughly researched for such a short thread. Good job. Something that I also want to add is that Moses is known for parting the Red Sea and that's clearly an allusion to Mars' nickname (the Red Planet). Reading your post, I also learned of a new word to use in everyday speech. Ehj~
  19. My main advice is to not try and imitate the videos, but instead stick to six or seven tips, like Jay has outlined here. That's a guide for beginners written by someone who's beginning days aren't as close as he likes to think. Jay, do you mind if I use your text for part of the Master Zombies Guide 2.0. It's an excellent preface to one of the guides. This guide is a living document and will adapt to great work such as this. A +1 is sadly the most I can give. [tab][/tab]Take your time, don't rush, and stick to the rules. You may ask yourself why other people do all these crazy things but remember that they too once followed the rules. Once you know the rules, you can break them. A guide like this will begin to teach you those rules. Good luck. Ehj~
  20. Another minor kill increase! I spent 5 minutes trying to knife to 320 and they all died out. Oh well. I've really been working on some things and I've realized that my PAP-Jugg is not as good as I thought it was. Nonetheless:
  21. Mike played absolutely out of his mind. The white player is the foremost recipient of the zombies' attention, and the fact that he was able to down the least reflects an absolutely stellar gameplay. Not only that, he also killed 800 more zombies than Milo and me, while raking in 100K more points than I. He truly was the MVP. [tab][/tab]I won't make excuses for my play. I promise to play better the next time we attempt this challenge, and mark my words when I say that we will attempt this challenge again. The intensity of it was unparalleled and truly has reinvigorated my passion for zombies. Think I'm kidding? Try out the challenge for yourself. Ehj~
  22. First of all, only one person gets to dodge with the ballistic knife, as there is only one per map. That already eliminates it from being a team gun with the way you described. Secondly, it possesses no killing power for the zombies when it would be most effective (on the run, as you described very well). Now I'd like you to picture this. While running with your teammate, you dodge all the zombies, but you can't kill them. That leaves all the zombies for your teammate to deal with, and as a result, he has a higher chance of downing, and if he does down, it will be death by proxy (your actions killed your teammate). It is my belief that the two weapons are meant to exist simultaneously, the combination of them creating the ultimate medic. Yes, use the knife to dodge, to allow yourself opportunities to squeeze through gaps where there previously were none. But do not use it to your advantage, and your advantage alone (unless in solo, of course). The aim in co-op is for each player's setup to benefit the other members of the team and the Lawton-Krauss combo does just that. [tab][/tab]I digress. Great thread nonetheless. Ehj~
  23. Something I've always admired about your gameplay is your knowledge of the game. While there may be some players who match or better your control of zombies in terms of kiting, I believe that there is no one in the world who knows the game better than you. Pure skill is one thing and can lead to some really good gameplay and perhaps some success in these challenges, but a round 37 on a map as difficult as Five requires immense knowledge of the game. [tab][/tab]Let this be an example to all other students of the game. It doesn't matter if you aren't confident in your training abilities (it does help, not going to lie there), but if you can confidently assert your knowledge of a map, you're set for some very good scores. To push it to the next level, combine both knowledge and kiting skills for the best and most efficient methods of killing zombies. That result is a player like Superhands, and there are few, if any, like him. Ehj~
  24. The Receiving Bay is substantially faster than the Biodome. The reason is the spawn rate. In the receiving bay, you'll have zombies coming from windows (only 2) and maybe some from outside (probably less than 5). In the Biodome you have zombies coming from the ground (which logically takes longer to spawn them fully) from about 10 different locations. Also the Biodome generally has zombies spawning from all around it, where as the receiving is more compact. The smaller the area, the faster the spawns, the quicker the rounds. Location is a key point in zombies because spawn speed differs, particularly in this case. A golden example is that the receiving bay or tunnel 11 allow you to get to 30 on solo within about an hour. In the Biodome? At least 90 minutes. Spawn rate is what's being examined here, and it's clear that location really is everything. In real estate and zombies: location, location, location. Ehj~
