  1. I'll just leave this here to help you clarify with the cut-back strategy. I like your dedication. The storyline so far is great, and the FAQ is an admirable and great effort to answer all the questions.
  2. Thanks man. I'm not sure what to do with the formula. I'll add it in with Duck's. Thank you, and good luck with your guide.

    TEAMS

You deserve a medal. That was a very well-written, well-thought out post that spoke to all sides, fairly, justly, and with dignity and integrity. I agree with everything you have said in this post, and you are right. We are working hard to ensure that all sides are met, but you have brought up some interesting points. Not everyone on this forum is here to find teammates. Some people have barely even posted in teammate finder because they are here to discuss other aspects of zombies. I think that is perfectly fine because we are all entitled to our own preferences and desires. I feel this is an issue now because teams are huge, among the largest threads on CoD. I would shed more light on this subject from my point of view, but you have said it all for me, ghostmayhem. You have my brains and my respect. Well done.
  4. Playdate this weekend, guys! Let's commemorate the leap year! After the staff meeting, let's gather 'round to slay the undead! If you're watching the stream, hop on your PS3 as well, and get ready to slay some zombies.
  5. Hey man, welcome to CoDz! Here, we got strategy, story, and teamwork pretty well covered. 6. Pope! It's been a while. Things have changed around here for sure. I'm glad to have you back though! You were a great user back in the day. I hope you can regain that. Have some welcome back brains from an old pal. :D
  7. I was lost, stranded in the desert, searching for an oasis of inspiration, and upon allowing my eyes to be humbled by this masterpiece, I have found that oasis. The poetry of your words transcends all my expectations. A well done guide, Andrew. You are truly a phenomenal writer.
  8. The skill never tops out, and while I, like ChopperNator, cannot claim to have been to 100, I can say that the skill required is tremendous, because you are not only battling hordes of the undead, you are battling yourself. 8-)
  9. Welcome to the site! My name's Ehjookayted AKA EyeCntSpel, and here at CoDz, we got strategy, story, and teamwork pretty well covered. 10. In Europe, practice can be spelled with an 's'. Anyway, just follow the advice up there. The best place to practice kiting is somewhere easy, where you can make mistakes and get back up, Ascension for one. Another strategy is to just get Juggernog on NML straight away and afterwards, continue to kite all types of things. Even if you die, you can restart straight away! There isn't too much to be said with the great strategists we have contributing above.
  11. Hello! Welcome to the site. Here at CoDz, we got strategy, story, and teamwork pretty down pat. If you ever need anything, feel free to ask me! Check out MegaAfroMan's User Manual, which he made to get new users oriented to CoDz! Find that here: viewtopic.php?f=93&t=19005 Enjoy your stay. 8-) Oh, and have some brains to start!
  12. Hi, welcome to the site- oh wait. It's good to have you back man. You were missed, but now the party can resume! 8-) Have some brains to get restarted. ;)
  13. Welcome to the site! Here at CoDz, we got strategy, story and teamwork all covered pretty well. If you want any help at all, maybe an avatar, check out my workshop! viewtopic.php?f=93&t=19657 Enjoy your stay and feel free to ask questions if you have any! 8-)
  14. Nothing too controversial here, just general gameplay things. Give us that COD 4 sniping feel and everything else is alright by me. I'd be fine without 3rd person TDM, just combat training back. Combat Training is one of the most fun parts of Black Ops to me. I think this is a good list of expectations and knowing Activision, we'll probably get half of these done well, or all of them done poorly.
  15. Just an excerpt from my Extended Perk Analysis, part of the MZG.
  16. Well, what's your uncertainty? How many significant digits did you take your findings to? I feel as though a graph, detailed, with a best fit line, as well as error bars, needs to be made to give people a more logical resource to turn to, as there is uncertainty everywhere. Random uncertainty particularly, so the numbers should appear evenly rounded on both the positive and negative ends.
  17. Welcome back man. All is forgiven. You were someone who was very good to the community in your short time here earlier. Everything will be alright, and I'm sure you remember me. If not, I'm Ehjookayted AKA EyeCntSpel, and I look forward to your contributions on the forum! Quite a bit has changed since you left, that's for sure.
  18. For the first few rounds, you'll want to camp out in the HELP room with the box, trying to get a Ray Gun and Thundergun. Monkeys help too. Until about round 11, this is pretty manageable. Higher even, if you can get a nice RPK/HK21 combo with the Ray Gun or Thundergun. The Ray Gun is one to be avoided on fully-boarded windows, as the splash damage is lethal in most cases. An RPK or Galil would be the best, in my opinion, in terms of fire rate and how quickly it takes care of zombies. Hope this helps. 8-)
  19. They could definitely have something related to both W/L and K/D ratios. K/D would cap out at a certain rank, such as having a 3.00 K/D would get the most experience and highest rank, and only winning games would increase the rank to its highest level. However, the way it works, it won't happen. The allure of leveling up is also the time and effort it takes; some people take a long time to reach 10th/15th prestige, and in that time, more map packs are released. People get tired of playing the same maps for that large amount of time, thus making map packs more enticing, resulting in more money for the developers. Sadly, money comes up once again, and popularity in the pocketbook is more important than a quality and respectable ranking system for people who actually play this game with perception and rationality.
  20. Well, Quick Revive does send the zombies to other side of the map, as you are reviving. The important thing to do is to not shoot and crawl away from the zombies as you are getting up. If this works, you can keep most of the spawn intact, allowing for easy recovery as well as capitalizing on the true effects of Quick Revive. It's important to note that crawling back does not expedite revival speed and that shooting spawns zombies near, sometimes even behind you, something that is fatal in most cases. My point: don't shoot, crawl away from the zombies, and you should be fine, unless you were killing a full horde as you went down.
  21. Commented, liked, and favorited! Man, Chopper you are too good. The 10 seconds from 1:50 until 2:00 is bar none, the greatest kiting I have ever seen in my entire history with zombies. That was the Mona Lisa of training. The screen shake is a tactic mastered by few, and you, my friend, are the Grandmaster. 8-)
  22. Welcome! Here at CoDz, we got strategy, story, and teamwork all covered fairly well. Enjoy your stay here and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Also, have some brains from me to start off! 8-)
  23. Well ricochet fire would be unfortunate if you were trying to save your teammate. Ideally, the smart, coordinated players would be able to avoid such situations, but overall, it would make random lobbies even more stressful and aggravating. It would be a nice change of pace and would love to see it as an option in a private match. I feel like people would abuse it if it were just standard in the game. It's a good challenge and would make a great option in private lobbies. It would also make challenges very interesting. For example, the highest round with friendly fire enabled might be significantly lower than the highest round with default settings. It's a cool idea, I love it, but the people who play the game- the majority at least- would abuse this so much and ruin many a good game.
  24. Hey guys, I'm back. After about a 5 or so day break, I see it fitting to make the introduction I never made. For those of you wondering, this is why I left: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=19563 I know it's sad, but right now, I feel like I'm on top of the world, and so does my mom. Everything is perfect. I feel like I can fly. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and thoughts. This is my introduction to the site, almost exactly 6 months after I joined. Hey everyone, my name is Ehjookayted AKA EyeCntSpel AKA Ehj AKA Eye AKA Edge. You may know me from around the forums. I'm a PS3 Ambassador, member of Richtofen, and former January 2012 UOTM. I've written the Master Zombies Guide and No Man's Land: Survival Guide, as well as put together a list of PS3 Playdates. I enjoy writing motivational speeches and chatting with my fellow users, who are more like online brothers and sisters to me. My favorite thread that I've ever worked on would have to be either the Can We Make It? A Call to Arms or Absolute vs. Relative Truth & The Question of Time. I'm starting to get into the storyline as well as writing stories with my pals Ollie and Liz. Team Grim Reapers is my home and I love the friends I've made there. Not going to lie, but I think my zombie skill was one of the primary reasons for exploding on to the site. Back in September, I played a perfect game to round 35 on Ascension, no downs, with Chopper-Nator. In that game, we devised a brilliant strategy (if I do say so myself), that inspired me to pick up my project known as the Master Zombies Guide. I had been planning to write one since June, but now I had reason and community to back me up. I quickly gained support, and I guess everything blended together. Now I'm here. I could have never thought it possible for me to write this for you, with the title that I have, with the amount of posts, friends, reputation, etc. that I have today. I owe it all to a great community, and looking back, I'm glad I didn't make one of these when I joined that fateful August 11th. A little bit about me: I'm a straight A student, taking some of the hardest classes offered at my school. I'm younger than you think, older than you know. To be honest, I don't look like the type of person that'd be addicted to this site, considering I barely have time to coach and play basketball, my favorite sport. But hey, I love this site more than anything else on the internet. I'll see y'all around. 8-)
