  1. Glad you joined boysta. I think I could have taken your Juggs and tele record earlier, I had just over 2500 points when they started running and I realised I didn't know the rules and messed it up!
  2. Way - when you are in the swamp you had the perfect group but you need to take a risk and go slightly closer to the edge of the pool, ideally jumping along it. When you have the dogs following you, you really need to get inside as far away from the wall on the right as you dare. The dogs have less chance of doing that weird flinging thing they do when they bound past you and then trap your exit. Congrats Mix, you should try more on the side and swamp now, I know you can get 300 there.
  3. I think in theory that flopper would lead to a higher kills total. A spawn can be collected in around 25 seconds, but once past 6 minutes are beginning to take 4 shots and up to clear a group. On top of this it starts to become very difficult to kill 20 each and everytime. Flopper would negate this and enable an entire group killed in a much shorter period past the 6 min mark. I also think it would lead to a lot more 300 kill games on the pad.....do you agree Super?

    TEAMS

Whenever I play it's only in 2 ways - for fun when I prefer 4 people or for high rounds. For fun, I prefer 4 people and often if someone is not as good it's actually better. The people I play with do not have any elitism, and I would stop playing with them if they did. When I'm playing for a high round, it's very rare that now I would play with anyone except for 4 or 5 people on my friends list, 3 of whom I meet here. If I get an XBOX as well, or the game on my PC this would expand to more like 10 people. The key is I did meet them here. Savage was the first person I played with after making my own post in the teammate finder, then I found Way, then Eye and then TGR came up. But TGR certainly led to more options for players to game with. I will always help pretty much anyone who asks me to get to level 30 on most maps, but that's like a 90 minute game. I will be playing with MrCostari for instance this weekend, screw the connection! If I'm going for a 40 or 50 it has to be someone I know well.....it takes a lot longer, and requires more determination. Teams are good for sure, and hopefully they will continue on CODZ, just with some kinks ironed out :)
  5. I believe it takes both plus the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time. Super really hit the nail on the head - a skilled player will recover 90% of the time, and I think this figure is a little low. But to recover after having had no problem for 4 hours, and to have been playing for 10+ is down to concentration. I think I'm a pretty good player, but I wouldn't ever claim knowledge that I could definitely get to 100.
  6. Flopper each and every single time on COTD. I have downed myself (although this was before I'd played NML) a few times on COTD with Juggs but no flopper. If you are at the lighthouse it's as easy to get to......but tbh honest on COTD unless shit really goes wrong either way you go should be a safe path with a good teammate. Tom will be upset that this isn't in strategy ;)
  7. I don't understand, I find the side so much easier!
  8. Congrats mate! We now have 3 members of the 300 club here with 3 or 4 very close to it I think you need to change your sig Dougie, you are clearly better and don't need to tell me ;)
  9. Peace Tankeo, he wasn't having a go at you :)
  10. Eye, Super and I have worked out some guidelines on whether to know if your game potentially can be 300. At 200 kills you need to have around 40 bullets left total. If you are at 200 kills within 6 minutes you should get 300 kills or very close. My game where I got 323 was 201 kills at 5 minutes 10 seconds and I had 43 bullets left. My 306 kill game I had 189 kills at 5 minutes 40 seconds, and 211 at 6 minutes 5 seconds. I had 34 bullets left. I will expand on our findings for NML in a new post :)
  11. I understand, find teamgrimreapers and I'm sure a couple of the guys will go through the pain of the Shang one with you.
  12. TBH you don't really need it. Moon is a simple map and downs aren't hard to recover from. You have to let a tunnel breach which just causes issues in itself. I have done it a few times but each time it can take a long time to do, and just doesn't seem worth it to me personally.
  13. Just need 2 mate, but one of those needs to have both COTD and Shang EE completed. If not you won't get the Golden Rod which is required for the last part of this EE.
  14. This is what I love about CODZ, when users are helped out by what someone else has posted. Even more so when that person comes back and lets others know. Congrats BBD! A jump of 80 is truly massive in NML! Keep working on it and I promise it will move up, especially now you have cracked 100 kills :D
  15. Not at all I'm just bored of my colour now!
  16. Covert can't add members to the group unfortunately :(
  17. Doc go to the board index and look at the bottom, there is a donate link there :)
  18. Thanks for this topic, it reminded me to donate :)
  19. Haha, me, Eye, Way and Savage have spoken about this a few times! BTW me and Eye are terrible teammates if we play together and with friends. We (kinda) purposely get in each others way and generally run around causing havoc. But we know we aren't going to die either way, just give our friends more work to do
  20. Yes Piep is right. Say you are in the lobby in Kino with 10 zombies, and your friend is on the stage with 14. He goes down. You suddenly have 14 zombies coming straight at you from the stage. You can always run the route on Kino, you know, MP40, dressing room and then get the revive. Or you could crescent on the bottom of the lobby and as the train comes to you from the stage can continue doing this crescent until they are all in one group. You can then safely sprint to the stage and get the revive. When you aim for a revive it's always going to be different. In my experience though 90% of the time you can do some kind of mini-train / kite to ensure a safer revive. Yes, NML intense practise will certainly help with kiting in general. Something Super said made me think of something....I played a random Kino game 2 nights ago, my first co-op game in a month or so. I ended up basically changing locations every round to see all those different kiting spots. If you stay in the MP40 room and just circle the turret, without using the stairs you will have to learn very quickly how to kite under pressure ;)
  21. Ok firstly have you seen Toms kiting guide? If not follow the link in my sig to the chopper repository. It's listed there My advice to you is initially learn the crescent type. It helps on so many levels. Say a friend goes down on the opposite side of the map. If its kino then either way you run you will meet a hoard coming at you. Being able to crescent this group massively helps your reviving chance. To practise play kino, and run the loop starting from the stage through the lobby, mp40, dressing room then stage. You can then either group on the stage (they will all be behind you) or go through to the lobby and do it there. Just practicing this will give a great appreciation of the zombies behavior when close up to you, which helps with all other kiting.
  22. Ok thanks for the sub. Now I know what you mean here is how to combine on Ascension. BTW there are many places to do the same thing, way2g00 must have footage somewhere of the PAP area combination strategy. This was me and Eye messing around a little bit This is a private video made for me and Eye to use for perfecting what we developed. ytYPPWJoQsE As Eye wrote the guide I'm pretty certain what we are doing is in some way what we meant You may have to skip to sometime after 6 minutes though, this was never meant for anyone apart from us so the editing is a bit rough!
  23. Yes, that's how I see it. Smokers from my experience actually play a bit better, especially for me in NML. It's like my inhibitions and natural cautiousness from playing co-op and trying to make sure I don't go down disappear, which leads to the crazy kiting I do. But for any longer challenge which requires intense concentration for longer periods of time, I have to be straight. Or straightish ;)
  24. In theory using the same technology they used to create the atomic bomb they could create 115. It would I suppose destroy whatever was created but if they could harness the explosive power somehow they could end up with 115. By using a ring of explosives around 2 identically spherical balls of 248 and 48, the resulting implosion of the 2 materials would create a state where the reaction between them could cause 115. Just saying there is potentially technology out there that can be "used" in place of a particle accelerator. It certainly hasn't been developed even now though as far as I'm aware. Faust or Phxntm may know more, I'm sure one of them has an interest in the topix, real world style This machine's creation is an amazing testament to the power of science and how important (completely unappreciated!) is in this world. It would be funny though if when run at full power and fully tested the Higgs is not found. It would kind of render most findings with any relation to this theory completely redundant.
