  1. Don't be so harsh on yourself. What you said came across clearly. And what you say is true. This is a change in Zombies. We are no longer dealing with the past, but the future. And the future is everywhere.
  2. Why's it have to be a daughter? Tank never specified which gender his child was. Why can't the watch guy be Tank's child, huh?
  3. There's never such a thing as overanalyzing in Nazi Zombies Are you being sarcastic or serious?
  4. Sometimes your posts Electric come off as borderline spam. punkrockzombie said things are heating up. He is right. The game is about to come out. Things are quite exciting. How could you think not? Are you not into Zombies?
  5. It's nothing really. Exoplanets are cool and whatnot. This is just a kind of documentary telling a short story about the exoplanet, and it is spiced up with a Halloween theme, i.e. it died and came back in the public eye, or as a Zombie if you will. Jimmy probably just liked the fact it had Zombies mentioned, nothing more.
  6. Remember that he said each section of the map will be tailored into a survival map, not just ripped straight out of it. My guess is that the perks will be spread widely throughout TranZit, but each specific survival map will have all of the perks - or at least Juggernog. Also, remember that we're getting Nuketown - and possibly Green Run - as maps specific to survival mode. I like the sound of the ranking system, especially that it rises and lowers according to your performance. Finally, a ranking system that can actually separate the men from the boys, and not just show how long you've been playing the game You're right. I think us story guys should establish straight away that if there is a conflict in anything found in the maps from TranZit to Survival, that, since the TranZit maps are "the story mode", TranZit should always have precedence over Survival. So, for example, story-wise, the Perk machines would be far in few between, with the additional ones merely gameplay mechanics. Of course, I can't say any of that with absolute certainty until the game is released.
  7. I just doubt it. Just my personal opinion.
  8. This was cool and unexpected. My reaction by question: #1: Eh. I was hoping for something a bit more than just pieces of a big map. Is TranZit going to have many Juggernog machines or are some maps not going to have them? Something that's interesting is that some weapons will be fictional but not Wonder Weapons. That actually might necessitate re-defining what "Wonder Weapon" actually means. #2: I know a lot of people aren't going to like that. But I think it seems nice from what I see so far. #3: Woo. More questions than answers. =_= Eh, I kinda expect that from them. #4: I feel like they're giving me too much info right here. I would've liked to play the game and go "I wonder if I can go without the bus. Oh my! I can! Look at me! AHHHH ZOMBIES IN THE TUNNEL!!! THIS WAS A MISTAKE!!!! AAHHKKCCLLHjgkgs.g. ..." #5: Hm? So are there going to be pieces of the buildables that are unmovable? Like you have to bring all but one of the pieces to the location of the last piece? Or something? And what would be the point in that? So many questions. #6: Surprises? Good ones? Bad ones? Weird ones? D: #7: That's us #8: I'd be upset if we couldn't make crawlers. D: #9: He means "Yes". Btw, I have to disagree with which ones you think are important. Anyhow, thanks for posting this.
  9. Thank you. As for the amusement park, it is likely I think because the idea has been done many many times before, and people want to see what Treyarch's amusement park attempt would be.
  10. I have this feeling that we wont get anything for a couple of weeks and then we will get a tease of Nuketown, another random pics, and a 10 second game trailer. Then boom thats it! They've given us a lot. I think we will likely not get anything else at all before the release.
  11. No, people do the midnight release because they've waited all year to play the freakin game. It's that simple. And for some they'll stay up all night playing the game they've waited patiently over the last year for. It's the whole reason retail shops do midnight releases to begin with, to get the game as soon possible. Personally, if you've got school or work the next day, it's completely pointless has you don't really get time to play it when you get home. But if your schedule's open, why not? I'd be up til 1 or 2 anyways if I don't have to work, do mine as well get some playing time in. Oh and LOL at people getting all butt hurt over how others spend their time. I hate American Idol, but I'm not gonna go around criticizing anyone that enjoys the show. Get my drift? On that note, do you think that codz will have a brief decline on the release of BOII? When the game is initially released, I'd imagine this forum would be deserted as people played and played and played, and then only when the initial surge of adrenaline began to die down would they flock back here.
  12. Well I might do it, because with my schedule, I am usually up until 12-2 AM anyway. So I might as well go ahead and get the game. I'm not going to show up early and wait in line to get it "first" though.
  13. Regardless, it is insulting to compare a long-time member to a banned member. Please be more considerate of that in the future. EDIT: This was my only CoDz map idea. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... hp?t=19705
  14. I think he means Tankeo. Thanks Lenne. Electric, if that is true, that is a cheap insult. I was trying to give you advice.
  15. I don't understand. How do I come off anything like Tank Dempsey?
  16. You don't want a high ratio of that. And you don't want a low one either. If it is high, that means people are too intimidated to actually post, and your thread will sink down. If it is low, then that means only a handful of people are interested enough to view and post.
  17. There was already a location for map ideas, which was in the former Black Ops II section when all it was for was ideas, a lot of which were map ideas. However, when Black Ops II came nearer, the Black Ops II section was expanded for the diversity of topics to cover. All map ideas were moved to the Single Player section (for some reason). No one has really cared though, since map ideas have pretty much run their course by now. This isn't a bad idea... it's just a late one.
  18. Lol yeah, Okinawa is part of Japan. I used to live there. In fact, my brother was born in Kadena, Okinawa.
  19. How does one get it at midnight? I just don't understand. GameStop only opens up at 10 AM most days.
  20. I'm all for making money on hard work, but it does kinda disgust me to see people make ridiculous amounts of money based on no work. EDIT: Oops. Oh yeah, on topic... uh... Black Ops II developers are earning their money. Appeasing Zombies fans must be hard work. EDIT: Btw, Electric. On what you were saying about not getting many replies, it really comes down to quantity versus quality. If you cater and care for only one thread or a handful of threads, it is more likely to take off, than if you make a whole bunch of different ones. Take both punkrockzombie and myself for example. My storyline thread for a long time WAS my only thread. Even still, it's the only one I continually mantain. As for punkrockzombie, this is his most serious thread. He has others, but none that I know that are currently circulating besides this one. It's not bad to make many. They each have their advantages. Do note however, that just because you specialize in one thread does NOT necessarily mean it will get more views/posts; it's just more likely. Electric, you have literally made 10 topics within the last 7 days.
  21. Eh, I think they will have a side-role in the storyline. With an evil Nazi in Aether controlling vril, 115, and Zombies, I don't see government playing too big a role in a seemingly apocalyptic world anymore. What I think is that the CDC and CIA will be remnants of their former selves, trying in vain to keep control of an uncontrollable situation. The agents will essentially be agents of corporations that have already virtually sunk rock bottom, hence why they are away from their desks and instead fighting Zombies. However, US agencies have a notorious history for not working together, which can have disastrous results. *ahem* 9/11 *ahem*. But I do find it humorous how they would have them sabotaging each other, which will probably lead to their ultimate demise, story-wise.
  22. Syndicate? Bah. I highly doubt that. His viewers are in the thousands. My viewers are in the thousands. If I'm not making money, how could he? EDIT: And making money off of youtube videos that are recordings of a video game is copyright infringement. The youtube videos of the game are only allowed to exist due to the Fair Use policy, which is void if there is money-making involved.
  23. Lol. Youtube uploaders make money? Ha, not very much I assume. Electric, we are not going to a vodka factory.
  24. That's not entirely accurate. Half of the stickied threads detail things that are not going to be in Black Ops II. In fact, more than half of all theories will be wrong when we find out the truth of what is in Black Ops II. Does that mean we should retroactively remove those threads as well?
