I just want REAL comic books and WaW style trailers for all the zombie maps. I was so pleased to see they did Kino's like that.
-
This is what would have happened if things never got out of hand originally. 8-)

Well, an idea is an idea. Both positive and negative feedback along with personal ideas are expected. Anyway, obviously if you go down and lose the perk, the requirements for get the pro variant would also be reset; that's a given. I think Quick Revive should just have even faster reviving ability, a nuke sounds a bit overkill IMO. (literally, lol) I'm thinking 2 extra lives instead of one would be a good substitute for that. Where as, if you buy Quick Revive and live for a successive 15ish rounds without going down, a quick notification would appear, the icon would appear with the pro perk star around it, and you wouldn't lose it until you go down the second time. Or, you would automatically revive with a 30 second death machine to ensure your recovery and buy more time for yourself.

Don't forget to mention having PaP camo as an unlockable multiplayer weapon camo. :D
-
But hey, at least we got the Golden Waffle tin Blops edition of Der Riese! :D
-
I don't dislike the idea, but those challenges would be far too simple. I'm thinking more of round progress, rather than statistics, and those vary depending on the rounds you bought them, the price, importance, etc. ex: Quick Revive + = Keep perk for 10 successive rounds. / Revive 5 players Double Tap + = Keep perk for 15 successive rounds / Fire 3,000 rounds. Speed Cola + = Keep perk for 30 successive rounds / Reload 250 times. Juggernog + = Keep perk for 25 successive rounds / Survive for 5 minutes without taking damage with Juggernog. PHD Flopper + = Keep perk for 20 successive rounds / Nuke 50 zombies. Stamin Up + = Keep perk for 15 successive rounds / Sprint 2 miles Deadshot Daquiri + = Keep perk for 10 successive rounds / Headshot 50 zombies Mule Kick + = Keep perk for 30 successive rounds / Kill 200 zombies with your third slot weapon.

Well, I just figure they could lay it out like they do in L4D lobbies. First come, first serve and such. Also, I do think they could actually learn something from the iPhone versions. The layout of everything is just so much better.
-
Well, and that's because each of the maps before hand had something a little different where as in Blops, they all just followed the same system and Der Riese was the "latest and greatest" with all the stuff fixed/changed/added already. Such as, zombies reaching through windows, sprinters in verruckt, sprinting dogs in SNN. All those were in WaW and were apparently "broken".

Everyone seems is a bit eerie of Takeo, given the PaP Ascension quotes some of them say. I'm waiting for him to do something ACTUALLY honorable for the group alone.

The one thing I would KILL to have in ZOMBIES (Not literaly)
Undead replied to TroubledTurkey's topic in Single Player
Eh... I think it would get over complicated in a hurry. People making bullshit maps with exploits would be almost worse than finding terrible players without mics... As far as the zombies themselves, I'd like to see variety. Sure, they had zombies with different outfits, but it would basically be a swarm of zombies all wearing the same 3 outfits. I wouldn't mind a map with good 'ol civilian zombies with all kinds of casual clothing mixed in with some familiar army zombies. -
Already know this is not going to happen since apparently someone complained it was too "gory" but I like the realistic nature of deaths in WaW. Grenades and Bazookas blew the limbs off soldiers, and the atmosphere of everything felt authentic. Also, I might be speaking for the minority, but I want DOA to actually have the graphics of a side-view 1990's shooter.
-
I actually maps like Der Riese and Ascension were perfect sizes for Zombie maps. After that, I found myself spending more and more just to even get to the box or power.
-
All in favor?

Unfortnately, I guarantee they will just throw the Zombie maps in along with the rest of the maps because that's how all the zombie maps have been added so far: As one of the five maps. Not to mention, Elite is primarily used for Clans. Infact, another name for Elite might as well be "Pimp my clan", because that's all it really is: Special toys for special boys. If you paid the subscription, then you have access to find other clans, setup games, compare stats, customize clan tags, etc. You know they are going to throw on options for zombie clans in a heart beat. I wouldn't be so against it if they didn't have this stupid "First class, gets first serve" shit...
-
Chances are, if they don't continue zombies (which, would be hard to believe) then they will definitely bring back some maps for sure. But if anything, they'll just likely do the something they did in Blops, only just with the Blops maps being the "classic maps" in this case.
-
That's false. Even with elite, you still have to purchase the map packs. They are just cheaper than buying them separately. However, if you look at the bigger picture, you're actually spending more just to have them than buying them individually. Because you STILL have to pay the 50 bucks a year just to have elite. Activision wouldn't okay elite if it didn't mean more ways to milk our cash... Plus, I'd bet you that if you bought the map packs on the elite subscription price, you'd have to keep your elite subscription active in order to have access to the DLC. Just saying. See, and the problem with that is that you know they are going to do something with it. If Elite makes it so that in anyway, ruins zombies or makes it unfair to access, I will just go back to Blops.
-
To be honest, I don't feel much like buying the WaW maps for a third time. If anything, they should just combine ALL zombie maps for a stand-alone arcade game available for DLC with all of the features the iPhone versions have but obviously with the current gen graphics, etc. That, or just like Rock Band or Guitar Hero DLC, have it automatically transfer over. Assuming they do bring back the WaW maps again.
-
Alright. Finished my rough draft of the zombie prestige emblems. I'll post them shortly.
-
I don't see why not, but it would have to be a lot more limited on space and video time. Perhaps having only the last ten or so games saved, and edited videos would probably have a duration maximum if it's stored on your file share. But that's simply because zombie rounds can basically last forever.
-
Multiplayer is one thing, but I sure as hell hope they just leave zombies out of it. It can contain additional things such as stats and zombies clans sure, but no special content. Zombies should be equally accessible in every way.
-
So on the behalf of the ranking up, earning challenges, etc. idea, I've drawn out a rough draft of the first 5 zombie prestige ideas for the next installation. Anyone care for a sneak peek?
-
I was actually thinking the same thing after playing the Realism mod a while back at my college dorm. One reason I've been religiously playing CoD since WaW was (obviously) because of Zombies for one, but also the addicting nature of multiplayer. Playing competitively against others online is fun and dandy, but what keeps the game fresh and entertaining for so long is the ability to customize your gear, rank up, earn rewards, XP and all that good stuff as well. Zombies should have a similar setup as multiplayer with a list of it's own challenges, ranks, unlock able gear/costumes, weapon camps, etc. Hell, I've even been customizing zombie prestige emblems as well. Making a total of 20 possible prestige ranks between multiplayer and Zombies. I think the zombies community would increase ten-fold. Considering it's at the peak of it's popularity being so amazing with it's continuing growth between arsenal, perks, and the storyline. Treyarch would run away with it all if there were more to it than just surviving all the time. Props bro, props. edit: Map ideas: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=17763

And Safari has a bunch of Question marks. ;)

Gee, thanks for repeating my entire post back to me because that's exactly what I just said... It WASN'T right for this GRFXP to make a profit off Carbon's site. I said that. It also wasn't cool of Carbon to shun away a potential profit building opportunity with such neglection. He can do whatever the hell he pleases for all I give a damn. But I'm specifically talking about how things were handled. There was NO attempt to compromise and make this work. None. And Alpha basically goes "Lookie Carbon!" and gets not only disapproval, but dismissed because he's not getting anything out of it. Now you tell me where that makes sense either... And yes, you and anyone who benefits should have me to thank for basically doing Carbon's "dirty" work. Both Carbon and GRFXP allegedly agreed that something could be worked out after I posted my ideas, did they not? Thing is, I want to help donate by contributing ideas to better the community here and help continue such a successful hit of a forum. But I am not going to pay a dime if their own staff doesn't even try themselves first...
-
With all due respect, Carbon, Alpha and that other guy contributed a lot of ideas to GRFXP, therefore received free gear. So it makes sense. However, before advertising their website, they should have, in the very least, contracted you first and got your okay on the matter before hand, yes. But, I still think you're an ignorant ass for basically throwing a brilliant thing, AND your predecessor administrator out the window because YOU weren't benefitting from it... Better yet, didn't even try until I passed along this idea. Oh yeah, you're welcome. Now, on that note instead of kissing your ass like several others already have, I'd be more than happy to help in anyway possible with any contests/giveaways/etc. Or any other ideas you have regarding this potential partnership with GRFXP. I am also currently trying to develop some ideas with these guys on more ideas for zombie apparel given they approve, and accept my ideas and the rest of the community also enjoy my ideas. I'm attending another gaming forum who are pretty well organized on making income for the site, and would be happy to share some ideas. So if you would like the extra help, please PM me Carbon. I do not like coming off as a complete ass, and this goes for the rest of the community. But how things have been handled lately are absoultely pathetic. Regards, - Undead xP
