Well we don't know what it shoots. The name suggest in 115 so that muzzle break type of thing could be some sort of transformer. Think about it if it shoots incendiary rounds that would gulf the zombies in flames! Now I think that would be pretty bad ass wonder weapon, and of course there can be multiple wonder weapons. This could replace ray gun as it hasn't been made yet.

To me, this totally sounds like it's from an American British individual. "Fritz" was a commonly used named for German's in general (along with such names as "kraut"). Giant metal men, though? ok yes that's what I think as well. I assumed we were guessing the author of each letter. And as far as the author, based on the language chosen, I strongly disagree that Nikolai is the author. Unless I'm mistaken, Nikolai wasn't an alcoholic until he was tested on by richtofen. Before then we have no idea how he acted, as he is drunk for basically the entire time we've known him. For all we know it could be his handwriting / style. He was, after his political career plummet and he was deployed to front lines he started to drink Vodka.

Well I have said earlier that the next map could be chemical factory. And I still believe it will revolve around chemical weapons like mustard gas. It seems this map tells us the first time Germans came in contact with Element 115 and started to experiment with it. And it now seems to fit exactly with the World War 1 time line when these nerve gasses were weaponized.
