  1. Well first off, Japan called INNER Manchuria an independent STATE, not nation, meaning it is still under Japan. I'm just getting that out of the way so that you can quote your facts a bit more precisely. Japan held the area since 1931 and we are talking about America, not Germany or Japan. I honestly think that almost anyone, especially America because that is mentioned in the intel, would call it Japan since it is part of the Empire and they have held the area for so many years. If you are unwilling to believe that, fine, but we know that Treyarch didn't have much idea of anything way back in the story's early production, there are many things that prove that. As for Japan, I have nothing against saying it is in the mainlands of Japan, it's just that no one has presented any sort of evidence for that because we have nothing but circumstantial evidence to say anything about the map.
  2. Feel free to provide sources, or a better alternative.
  3. Yeah, according to Richtofen, Maxis is the creator of the weapon so like ZOTD said, I would assume Germany would have control over the weapon.

    Alien barrels

Hmm, great question. Regardless of everything, the things in the barrels are not the things that are in the map, they look way to different, can we agree on that? And I agree they are zombies, sort of. I believe they are infected with NOVA6 rather than 115.

    Alien barrels

I remember in the terminal, it said that there were more than 4 strains of NOVA6 and they were just changing from chimps to humans in 1944. So there were definitely stages to the crawlers, between chimps, the things in the barrels, and the current ones we see.

Alright, so... After getting a no-clip just now from MixMasterNut, the things in the barrels are not apes like you said. However, they may be early versions of the crawlers, because there is no resemblance between the things in the barrels and the crawlers in game.

    Alien barrels

Over 20 years, everything breaks down and becomes weaker and weaker, which is just as plausible with a chemical gas like NOVA6. The whole belts thing annoys me, and pants. They are small, like small children, maybe they chose them because their immune systems are weaker and more susceptible to anything coming in.
  8. People have missed things, whether they be big, small, relevant, or irrelevant, but I am finding things and I want to here all your thoughts on them! While I am fine with comments saying it is nothing, I would appreciate some of you to think about it outside the box and come up with something! This thread is more for me to hear some thoughts on a few different things. In Kino, when you are teleporting place to place to get the different reels to be played, you go a room that is in the Pentagon, which we later see in FIVE. In the office, there is a room: When you go to the actual map FIVE, not from teleporting there, you find this room: If you notice, the rooms are the same given the image on the TV being identical and the phone's and such, but the room appears to be different. I am sure some of you may think that it is because of different time periods, but I want to hear all your theories. One thing that is a bit confusing to me is the main common thing, in my mind at least, the framed image of Richard Nixon: We know that FIVE is before JFK's death since he is playing, and Nixon lost the opportunity of Presidency, so it strikes me as odd to have a little image of him on your desk, over JFK at least who is the President. While this is very minor, I want to hear your thoughts because these are things confusing me, so discuss as you wish.
  9. I think the game is Texas Hold Em, the man just won because he had the Ace of Spades

That image I showed above looks ape to me, I have seen close ups and I haven't noticed much difference. Personally, I think that in the radio, when the barrel is knocked over, that is the banging on the door. I am basing all this off the terminal files about chimps and NOVA6, and there was an incident in September of 1944 where something happened at a NOVA 6 compound, so I believe that is the barrel tipping over, and I think that 1944 is too early for a breakout there. Not to mention, the terminal says the facility went on after said event.

You may believe what you want, but those look distinctly ape-like to me.
  12. In my eyes, the ancient city of Atlantis is not of Dwarka origin, it is of Vril-ya origin. Supposedly, an older faction of the Vril-ya ended up in Atlantis and met up with the Lemurians who differed in views. This caused a war between them and the sinking of both of their homes. From there, they went underground into Agartha. As we know, Agartha is indeed involved in the story based on the Shangri-La radios mentioning that place. That is a very very summarized version of MonopolyMac and I's thread: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=16132
  13. Like I said above, perhaps they used the Gersch Device, and the rift allowed them to teleport out of the map instead of inside like usual.
  14. I personally don't see it as anything other than recognizing them for making the Wii version. Treyarch didn't do much, so it is appropriate in my eyes to just put them in with the other affiliates such as Sledgehammer. I just really think the Teddy Bear thing is an Infinity Ward thing. It isn't really CoD in general because Treyarch only includes it in it's smaller audience, Zombies. If they included it in the campaign and multiplayer, THEN it would be a CoD thing, but it is basically just an IW thing.
  15. I would like to know where you got the info to form this paragraph, whether it be via quotes or anything, because I don't see where you came to this conclusion based on things I have heard.
  16. I think it is possible to have just broke apart and re-entered later on. While I don't particularly believe it, it is indeed plausible.
  17. Well the meteor is a fragment of Tunguska I believe, hence the writing "Tunguska" on the wall and the radio with coordinates. I don't think that the fragment of the meteor would come down to Shi No Numa 25 years after Tunguska.

    Alien barrels

I believe they are chimpanzees, because the terminal said that they were housing chimpanzees in barrels until they made the move to put NOVA 6 in humans instead of chimp, thus giving us the current crawlers we see. They also said that they were going to put them around the world to test the conditions and how it effected them. THAT is why they are Shangri-La in my opinion.
  19. They have quite a few England references. There is that board you speak of that shows the lighthouse and a map of England, then there are 3 boxes that have GER, FRA, and ENG on them. FRA is France, there was supposed to be a Paris map but that was changed out for Moon. And of course ENG for England.
  20. At the end of the Easter Egg: He said it.
  21. I am growing to love you more and more every time you post, you post so darn logically! In terms of Shangri-La, there is much speculation and such, but we know for fact that there is an ancient civilization known as Vril-ya to be involved. They supposedly resided there, or it was at least an entrance to their home, the inside of the Earth. That is the Hollow Earth theory, which was apparently lit and powered by an orb known as the Black Sun that emitted VRIL Energy. Black Sun, Schwarze Sonne in German, is written on the Der Riese chalkboard. The Black Sun logo is also in the Shangri-La loading screen, it is in the grass at the bottom in the weird shape. But Richtofen teleported to Shangri-La after touching the pyramid on the Moon. In my eyes, they viewed him as a god and thus gave him a shrine, not attacked him. The Vril-ya had some humans there doing the dirty work, building structures and such, but when Ed arrived he got them mining 115 and then Maxis made the 31-79 JGb 215 to shrink the 115 for transport back to Der Riese.
  22. Say what? But wouldn't that be a random teleportation? But Richtofen took them there on purpose. That rift in the sky can't just randomly teleport them to CotD... could it? Well I can't tell for certain, but I see absolutely no reason for Treayrch to have Richtofen say "Hey look, a dimensional rift... Bye Gersch" at the end of the Easter Egg. I think it must relate to the teleportation. Perhaps they used the Gersch Device, and the rift allowed them to teleport out of the map instead of inside like normal, I cannot be certain, but I feel that it means something.
  23. The characters got to Verruckt because they were searching for Peter. As for Nacht Der Untoten, no one knows for sure, but they were obviously flying somewhere. Shi No Numa is one for grabs too, but I think they drove/flew. It gets a bit more concrete from here. In Der Riese, when you start, you teleport into the map, so that means wherever they came from they teleported. They used the teleporter from Der Riese to Kino via overloading the Wunderwaffe DG-2. From Kino to Ascension, that is another one know one knows, but they arrive via Lunar Lander. From Ascension to Call of the Dead, they used a dimensional rift in the sky, it caused them to teleport out of the map into the Call of the Dead closet. From there, they teleported out of the closet into Shangri-La. After that, I believe that a secret society involved in the game known as the Vril-ya teleported them to Area 51, where they used that teleporter to get to Moon.
  24. MANY times the older things that Treyarch has released, such as intel and the bio's, will contradict what we have already come to believe. For example, in one intel, they say that they can't get the characters out of Shi No Numa because the war is still going on, yet we know that that map couldn't have happened until after October 1, 1945, after the war was already finished. While it is confusing, I agree in that he was completely sane until he touched the pyramid, and then the voices crawled into his mind, planting seeds of conspiracy and manipulation. Haha you answered your own question. I believe that he was playing stupid so that Maxis would not catch on that he had already made a teleporter. However, Maxis is the only one with access to the Data Servant where he makes entries regarding new finds. In it, he states that there is 115 on the Moon, confirmed via an astronomical team. Now how would he know that without knowing that there was a teleporter to the Moon? That also confuses me. You did not make an ass of yourself! We actually need more members like this, you seem to have a good grasp of the story, you speak logically, and you have good grammar, I cannot wait to see you around more!
  25. Well we know that they were trying to control the Zombies in a few locations, so I doubt the outbreak just happened to occur. I mean the first time the Zombies arrive doesn't mean the outbreak happened that second.
