First off, welcome to the site! To answer your first question, brains is a system where if you see a good post, you can give someone brains (the green thumbs up button on the top right hand corner of the good post). Zombification is a ranking system, where you rank up depending how many brains you have earned. You start out as a human, and once you receive 150 brains you become what's called an almost zombie, then around 700-800 brains you become a zombie, etc. etc. for the rest of the ranks. If you ever have any questions you can ask the dwellers, mods, or any other veteran CoDz member for help. p.s. this was the correct section for your introduction post ;)

Carbon got rid of it, there are now four new groups for how many rounds you reached on any map in either World at War or Black Ops

Well there are different usergroups for different things, like how a WWK member does research about a map, ZOMBshes is for female members, and there are 4 new groups that Carbon created today, here's a thread about how you can get into one of those groups: http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=14260

One thing I noticed on this map is that some Der Riese quotes are reused. EDIT: they're not actually reused, but more reused and edited a bit, example- Nikolai from Shangri-La: "Vodka? Check. Balls? Check. Russian? Check. Ok, I'm good." Nikolai from Der Riese: "Vodka? check. Balls? check. Ok, I'm good"
