  1. i agree with all your likes, although the only one of your hate's that i actually truly hate is the panzer soldat. they should have made him slightly easier to kill that first go-around to at least give you a fighting chance of getting past round 8 without getting a ray gun from the box or building a staff
  2. Oh yeah you are right. I'll update it. I couldn't remember where it was. good stuff. other than that it looks good, quite easy to understand :)
  3. That looks nice yourmapper, only problem i see is shouldn't the 2nd lightning staff jump off be going towards the excavation site as the part is underneath pack a punch?
  4. further more, if it is all in Samantha's imagination circa early 1940's, how do you explain so many of the historically accurate things post 1940's in many of the maps. Can she somehow magically see the future? Maybe if Samantha was a college grad with a history degree in the 1990-2010 range would her imagination be able to think of those things, but not a simple little girl in WW2 times.
  5. now this i don't agree with at all if this is what you think, then there is simply no story at all. if they wanted to make a map of unicorn zombies from uranus, they could because "hey its just this little girls imagination" come on now
  6. i feel like adding pictures for the locations of the secondary puzzles for upgrading the staves (i.e. sparking panels, smoke domes, etc.) would be helpful. i was trying to find the smoking domes for the wind staff and the descriptions just aren't cutting it lol. If I get time tonight I may try and take some pics and we can add them to the OP? everyone feel free to chime in and let me know if that would be helpful
  7. I think you could do everything up until the very last part of boarding the plane in afterlife... assuming that you were the weasel in the first place lol
  8. The first part of moon can be done solo. Have fun even getting the napalm things in solo. You will prob not get them till round 18.... and knifing at the tank station is difficult... shouldnt be that hard with the zombie shield... as soon as you have it built you should be able to do it quite early on
  9. But it doesn't for me, I will shoot the first set of keys, stand there, and it refuses to go away. and shooting any other ones just randomly turns other ones on. then unfortunately you just aren't hitting the right keys. again if you don't have training in reading music or playing piano, the easiest way is to number the bottom triangles 1-7 and hit 6-1-3 then wait. the sparks on the individual triangles will go away and seemed like there was a slightly blue glow. then do 3-5-7 and same thing will happen, then lastly 4-6-2. just make sure after each you wait until the sparks go away, and again do not consider the top triangles whatsoever. just pretend they aren't even there
  10. concerning the upgrading of the fists, is this obtainable solo? do you have to progress all the way through the EE steps to do it or once you have them and upgraded the staffs can you punch zombies in the excavation site and upgrade the fists? this map has been out for a week and there are still so many questions lol. i wonder if there is a "golden spork" out there somewhere on this map just waiting to be discovered. (not literally a golden spork, but another helpful item or weapon that hasnt been discovered)
  11. Nice. Im sure with the Ice staff and a lot of patience you can achieve this sooner than R31. if you don't mind what is the significance of the ice staff in achieving this?
  12. so let me get this straight... we had 5 maps with full on 75g EE side quests on Black Ops 2. and the rewards received are as follows: Tranzit: No Reward Die Rise: All perks (6) not permanent (which most have by round 10-15 anyway from jumpers Mob of the Dead: nothing and game ends Buried: Finally all perks (7) permanent for all players. on the already easiest map to date Origins: No reward game ends. (although there are "rewards" for completing steps like upgraded staves, thunder punch airstrike etc.) on the toughest map Here is my plea for the next zombies game. The EE's were pretty cool in black ops 2. They were also pretty cool in black ops 1. but the difference is there was a reason to do the EE in black ops 1. every game of moon we try and do the Easter egg because the reward is worth the effort. I have done all the EE's but origins so far once, but will not be doing them ever again, because the time and effort put in is not worth the outcome. PLEAAASE in the next game treyarch, give us some rewards for the EE's that make them worth trying to achieve each game. Moon should be the blueprint, but they could certainly be more creative than just perma perks. could be a special weapon, could be doubles ammo capacity of all guns, maybe each person gets a random wonder weapon, or maybe a borderlands style loot chest where each player can choose a weeapon. im just spitballing here and i came up with that in 2 minutes. yes the EE's had good story and were hard to crack, but they have no replay value at all
  13. no that doesn't make any sense. here's what I get from this. Origins is a completely made up story by Samantha. it has nothing physically to do with the nacht thru buried story... but something had to spark her imagination. so i think she has overheard her father talking about some of these things or maybe has heard stories about her "heroes" what we see in the ending cut scene is an actual scene prior to where we begin at Nacht, Verruckt, SNN, and der reise. so samantha made up origins, but she made it up based on things that were already beginning around her
  14. But why? Eddie didn't even get his turn... Am I the only one who thinks this turned out not to be a exact "prequel" to the zombies story, but this is obviously in the WW1 era. we hear her dad Maxis calling to her to lock down the windows or what not. she "wishes the heroes were real". maybe she imagined THIS voyage the origins game. She has heard her father talking about 115, etc, and then after years of research within group 935 it starts actually happening. so my theory isnt that EVERY zombie map has been a made up game between samantha and eddie (who is quite obviously DR. EDDIE RICHTOFEN imo) but just this one, and once WW2 time comes around its actually the events we know that are happening. To answer the onvious question "how is samantha still a little girl in the MDT on the moon?" maybe she's been there longer than we thought. maybe maxis put her there for safety in the war without knowing all the consequences. idk. now in the case that I am wrong and this should be taken at face value and the whole thing is just made up by a child, thats pretty disappointing. but a couple more reasons why i think that isnt true. the WaW maps... are Nazi Zombies. how could a small child in 1918 make up stories involving a world war that hasnt happened yet? and Five takes place at same time as ascension. how could a girl in 1918 have known about JFK and Fidel Castro? my point is that while this map obviously simply was the product of a girl and boy's imagination, i think the main story is still in tact when samanthas imagination becomes reality :EDIT: just read FatedTitan's thread and he said it way better than I did. 100% in agreement with his viewpoint on this. :EDIT 2: My real beef with this EE is that it FREAKING ENDS THE GAME! so obvious that this and Mob of the Dead had the same people heading it up. zombies is facing ENDLESS HORDES OF THE UNDEAD. There is no END other than death! ugh that pisses me off so much. The EE should be rewarded with something amazing (perma-perks or something similar) and then you play until you die. thats it!
  15. looks like LiamFTWinter and friends have finished it! congrats fine CoDz buddies!! cant wait for the tutorials and discussion about the egg!
  16. thanks GRILL this thread is definitely beginning to take shape. not too long before ill have to have it in my bookmarks for quick reference lol
  17. hahaha i can only imagine how frustrating that would be. thats one skill i have that i never thought would come in handy in zombies lol
  18. It is NOT part of the side quest. It gives you airstrike grenades . http://youtu.be/mg6FB-jy3AI EDIT: I suppose you might need those for the quest. So... seems like they will be part of it since an airstrike or hellstorm missile deal would be "raining fire"
  19. in the video they use the zombies shield so that could work too my question is do you have to have 4 ppl to do this or is it available solo?
  20. i definitely understand your point, but keep in mind this game is out in 2013. record players were by and large extinct (until their recent hipster revival) by the early 90's and a huge chunk of kids playing this game have probably never even seen or used a record player. ill let it slide if a 15 year old calls it a cd lol
  21. problem with that headshot is the general consensus is that the staff place is not where a 5th staff is built, but where a 4th staff is placed in the EE (other 3 in the giants heads)
  22. Never assume anything with Zombies, man. You never know when Treyarch might do some unexpected shit. well thats why i added the lol at the end.... i was joking... kind of
  23. given the difficulty of the map and apparent equal or greater difficulty of the egg, we have to assume that the reward for completing the egg is going to be insane right? RIGHT? lol
  24. I had thought they had already done this back in like '04? but iguess they did it again with more satisfying results.... pretty cool given the coinciding date
  25. The exact reason PhD Flopper is back is because there is NO Mustang and Sally. exactly. there is still a ray gun and war machine in the box which has splash damage. still have grenades. but again M&S plus flopper was just too OP and they decided to balance it out
