NOTE: COMMENTS ARE WELCOME, BUT AS THIS IS AN EDUCATIONAL THREAD, AND NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD, PLEASE PUT ALL COMMENTS IN A SPOILER.

Thank you for your consideration!

With the release of Black Ops 2, and now the advent of Black Ops 3, Treyarch's Call of Duty Zombies mode has grown increasingly popular, with more new folk joining the community daily-which is awesome. The problem is...with the under-emphasis placed on World at War and Black Ops, the community as a whole's unfamiliarity with the best part of the whole story has become chronic, with an overemphasis on Mob of the Dead: Alcatraz, "The Devil," or "Ancient Evil," Origins: Excavation Site 64 and the new versions of our favorite oldies (including an American "Samantha"), Shadows of Evil: Morg City and Cthulhu (what happened to the Teslic/Faradayic/WW2 pseudoscience?) and The Giant, which is awesome, but nearly completely divorced from the classic historical ties Zombies used to have in all the maps.

So with that being said, I present a quiz. If you shall presume to theorize, then I propose that you study yourself approved! You can't know where you're going if you don't know where you've been. Besides, aren't you curious as to how well you can do straight outta the gate?

If you wish to leave your answers in a comment, please do: I enjoy reading them. If not, that's cool, too. Might I still persuade you to tell us how you did in a quick comment?

Otherwise, if you need clarification of, or want answers to any of the questions, feel free to ask, and I will answer.

NOTE: Answers will be gradually added in spoilers.

  1. Who was Dr. Ludvig Maxis
  • World at War/Black Ops
Father to Samantha Maxis. Romantically involved with his secretary, Sophia; senior scientist at Group 935 and direct interface with the Nazi High Command. Creator of Zombies at Der Riese as a consequence of failed teleportation attempts. Betrayed by the crazed and paranoid Dr. Edward Richtofen in October/November 1945, locked in a Der Riese facility Matter Transference Device (MTD)  and teleported to a "wretched tunnel," presumably in the legendary Shangri-La mines, from which he was extracted and teleported to the Moon base, Griffin Station, by Dr. Schuster and Dr. Groph though use of DNA tracking via the MPD. He was shot and physically killed after asking Samantha, within the MPD, to avenge him and "kill them [935 scientists] all." His consciousness entered the Griffin Station computer system via the MPD interface, unbeknownst to the rogue scientists, and, after the completion of Richtofen's Grand Scheme (Black Ops: Moon) re-emerges vocally via the PA System to persuade and instruct Samantha, in Richtofen's body, and the remaining 3 test subjects, to launch the Moon rockets at Earth.
  • Black Ops 2
    Tranzit, Die Rise, Buried:
After destroying much of the earth with the rockets, for the purpose, he claims, of severing Richtofen's control of earth, Maxis attempts to employ four survivors to harness the three Global Polarization Devices in his favor in order to give him full control of the Aether's energy and banish Richtofen from the MPD. When he succeeds, it is assumed that he opens the gateway to Agartha in an attempt to save Samantha's soul, and unwittingly exposes the universe to the Apothicons.
    Origins:
German Scientist stationed at Excavation Site 64 near Bar-Le-Duc, Northern France. Exposed to dangerous levels of 115 radiation and potentially bit by a zombie. Obsessed with the voice of a female child in his head who claimed to be his daughter, trapped in a realm called "Agartha." Killed by his friend and colleague, Dr. Edward Richtofen, in an attempt to salvage his brain, for which Richtofen had constructed a quadrotor through which he could communicate and travel. He is last seen passing into the sky portal with the words "I must go to her [Samantha]. The paradox must be resolved."

Spoiler

People:

1. Dr. Ludvig Maxis is the father to Samantha. He is, in one reality, a scientist working for the Nazi Party in an attempt to create a class of super humans capable of winning the second world war. This leads to the creation of super Soldier Serums like Jugger-nog, Speed Cola, and so on and so forth. He is also one of the lead scientists in the Group 935 projects, excluding the projects that Richtofen took upon himself to endeavor. In another reality, he is a scientist working for the German Army in an attempt to win the Great War/first World War. In this reality, his findings allowed him to create Mechanical Gigantors and had began research in manipulating the elements within the Crazy Place.

2. Dr. Edward Richtofen is the coworker of Ludvig Maxis and is the reason for most of what has happened in our story. It arguably began when Richtofen teleported Maxis and Samantha "not through space... But through time." This disruption in the seemingly linear time-space caused a major penetration of realities. following the teleportation of Maxis and Samantha, it's possible to say that Richtofen knew that either Maxis or Samantha would be teleported into the MPD or into the limbo that is considered Agartha. However, a lot of mind boggling and plot holes exist in the story from here to moon but I like to just ride the train and see where it crashes. In another reality, Dr. Edward Richtofen is a kind of hero. Except his intentions aren't clear, we presume he is trying to set the record straight. Of course, a thousand fools make not one smart man.

3. Samantha Maxis is the daughter to Ludvig Maxis and is arguably in control of the deaddite infection. However, due to new information as to how the deadites operate, it's possible that Samantha is just the vessel or the medium with which a higher being uses to communicate with the real world and can possibly seep powers through. The story hinges on the fact that our entire story line could be just the imagination of a little girl trapped in a house of some sort. My argument is that this house is like the BOIII campaign where we have to survive in a house with zombies while some chick tries to cope with death. It is my grand ASSumption that the house spoken of within the lyrics of songs and the house that Samantha was in during the end of Origins is a house that keeps her mentally stable and away from the coping of death. Thus, keeping her alive. Her imagination, though since it was the medium, is the reason we have a Mystery Box and possibly the other magical properties we've seen. It's completely possible to say that the Wunderwaffe cannot operate unless in her reality. Obviously, in real life the wunderwaffe is imagination so to say that this weapon is possible is a false statement. I digress, Samantha is one of the core reasons to the madness.

4. Dr. Groph is someone I've heard of in radios but never considered a pinnacle character to the story. However, I can try and still answer honestly. I heard the radio speaking of this character on moon, so I conclude that this was a scientist involved in the experiments done on Griffin/Griffen/Griffon Station. It might be what they were experimenting with that was so interesting. I recall the promotional live video from Treyarch that had a zombie wearing a space mask and running on a treadmil. It makes me think that these experiments were being conducted on the undead rather than living creatures. Although, zombies are technically living creatures just very primal.

5. Dr. Schuster was in the radios on Ascension, if I recall correctly. This is a scientist who was involved in the Ascension experiments engaged in some kind of operation but was moved to a different operation that he didn't like. I'm answering all these questions with "Off-The-Top" thoughts, so I might go and review the audio after answering these Q's.

6. Dr. Gersch was definitely stationed at the Ascension experiments was doing some crazy shit, I guess. He created or at least influenced the creation of the Gersch Device which allows for immediate teleportation at a moments notice. This device can be compared to Family Guy's Stewie character that has a mobile teleportation device operating off plutonium.

7. Dr. Yuri was the Scientist that Dr. Schuster was re-located with. They didn't like each other as far as my memory is concerned and at some point, one of them trapped Dr. Gersch in his own device. The story of Ascension is like an allegory for the entire zombies story line. Dr. Gersch's soul is trapped and must be freed!

8. Dr.? I thought it was just Peter McCain. An operative who was sent into Nacht and Verruct, arguably with Dempsey, to discover what happened. However, when reaching Shi No Numa, our poor Mr. McCain is found dead hanging from his own will. Could it be that Mr. McCain went crazy and decided that suicide was the only answer? Some scientists at Der Reise agree with my conclusion.

9. Dr. Harvey Yena... Obviously a side scientist or side character of some sort, I have yet to hear of this Harvey Yena in any audio files. That's probably because I only hear the files in-game and never really go out of my way to search in the game for the direct audio cue. If this is a scientist from Ascension, it explains why I haven't heard of him. I've listened to the Ascension logs once in my lifetime and could never get more than two to spawn in because of my lack of understanding on how to get them to spawn in.

10. Dr. Porter... Well, some fan fare always gets me. Two things... One: Dr. Porter is the inventor of the ray gun and it's  upgraded brother the x2. There is also, apparently to my understanding, a real human being with the name Porter who actually designed the raygun and the x2. So, I suppose it's more of a mixture of reality and fantasy which is this story's niche.

11. Fluffy was a dog that was experimented on by Maxis in an attempt to create Super Dogs... I guess... I mean, it makes considering that during World War 2 and what not, they used dogs to attack the enemy in some cases. So, why not have super everything. Super Cats, Super Dogs, Super Dicks. Why not. Fluffy, though, was either teleported or experimented on to the point of where her puppies were morphed and demonized. It's also possible that the dogs we see attacking us aren't actually Fluffy but the representations of Fluffy. I second guess myself because the dog in Origins looked different to the dogs we've seen. That or maybe my memory is going.

12. Sophia? My god. I probably know but not "Off-The-Top". Hmm... Sophia.... I mean, it's a beautiful name but I haven't the slightest clue who she could be... Maybe one of the women who fucked the mobsters? Fucked being a synonym for "ruined".

13. Cornelius Pernell... Yes... I know this person... Not.

14. Brock and Gay Gary! Brock was a British scientist who was exploring Peru for a lost tribe and a lost temple known as Shangri-La. It is presumed that Brock was searching for the Focusing Stone or some sort of proof to verify someones claim. During one of the videos Brock says that someone was right on the money in their claim but he died at the end of the recording... Or at least the radio did. Gary is Brock's poor assistant who pretty much gets fucked/killed in every scenario they encounter. He's either told to remove his socks or is caught on a gate with the water rising. Gary really fuckin' sucks. Although, you've got to question Gary's true significance. He's definitely not a local and certainly is no scientist. He's just a dude. A stupid dude at best.

15. Tank Dempsey used a pin to break out of a Japanese prison and killed everyone with that same pin! I remember reading that and thinking that this guy is the shit. Now, he's always concerned with "What the fuck..." Richtofen was "... doing back there". He's the american soldier who was sent in, allegedly, with McCain during Verruct. However, my own personal idea is that McCain went dark in Shi No Numa and thus Dempsey was sent in to investigate. Each country, excluding Germany, thought it was suspicious of America to send one soldier to investigate a certain area. So, I'm guessing the Russians and the Japanese knew that something was off about that. So, they all formally meet at Shi no Numa. The German being the Shadow Man dancing with his cane and his hat. Anyways, Tank is a Tank. What more can I say?

16. Nikolai Belinski is a belligerent drunk who's allegedly had more wives then he can remember. Nikolai really is the only mysterious character left to have an official backing for why he's there. He talks a lot about Lennin during Origins and of communism but he doesn't talk as if he is the science type. He talks more as if he is a philosopher. A thinker, if you will. Which, historically, is quite accurate. But still his mysterious purpose has yet to be discovered... In my mind, at least...

17. Takeo Masaki is another bad ass character that didn't get bad ass until Moon. Or should I say, the last minutes of Moon's easter egg. Anyway, his back story surrounds the idea that the Emperor of Japan has sent him to destroy or manipulate Group 935. It begs the question, how did the Emperor know? I digress, Takeo is a holy man that carries his wisdom and enlightenment with him as he does his iconic blade. It becomes a question of whether or not Takeo's ancestors seek to bless him with even more enlightenment and even more divine wisdom.

18. "Russman" was allegedly brainwashed. Who alleged? Me. I only allege because America loves to brainwash people. From waterboarding to simple torture, America forces others to say what doesn't exist. When I saw the cut scene for Buried and saw that Russman has memory issues and memory loss, I automatically thought, "Wow, this poor old man actually does have Alzheimer's." But then, Marleton's weird-ass face started spewing words of scientific relevance. Claiming that Russman was an operative for Broken Arrow or something. Something stupid and convoluted to give Russman his last chance at developing anything other than a racist character. I don't know. Is it even worth it to say who Russman is? Does he even know or care? He's dead anyways, right? Well... Allegedly dead.... Also, he fucked Misty. So, for Halloween, I'm gonna be Russman. Whoever dresses up as Misty will be surprised to find me hidden within their panties... As an Easter Egg, of course.. I'm not a perv or anything..

19. Samuel Stuhlinger was once my favorite character of the new bunch because of all the conspiracies he'd talk about. His character actually brought me back to reality when it comes to certain conspiracies. Meaning, without context, an outsider looking in could consider his claims "out-of-this-world". This is why I don't just dive into conspiracies anymore. I start by setting the stage with context then I unload my spunk of conspiracies. Samuel was a looney fuck who was willing to believe anything as long as it got him closer to the Truth. The truth was, he nibbled on zombie meat. Thus, infecting himself and allowing Richtofen from the "abyss" to communicate with him. Samuel was willing and vulnerable that Richtofen played on his emotions and personality. It made Samuel easier to manipulate than any other intelligent being.

20. Marleton Johnson... I didn't realize that he had an E in his first name... Oh well! Marleton Johnson is an American Scientist that was allegedly stationed at Nuketown, U.S.A. A lot of controversy surrounds how he left Nuketown and how he spoke of the Avogadro within the Fallout Shelter. Some say he built the bus, but he has no clue how the bus works. Some say he went from Nuketown to Tranzit by walking. Because in Tranzit there's signs of a Fallout Shelter and a possible walk way to it. I say, he was never at Nuketown. He started at Tranzit and continued from there. I say this because Nuketown is kind of a walk to Tranzit. I'd say by the time he reached Tranzit he'd be so tired that I think his legs would give out. Any who, this American Scientist really has little to no relation to the main story. However, some could speculate that he was involved in the Americanized version of the Super Soldier attempts much to the ilk of what happened in Nazi Germany with Ludvig Maxis. The only problem is evidence. There is a lack thereof. So, let's just say, he's on the shelf when it comes to his story.

21. Abigail "Misty" Briarton is a sexy, sassy, saucy woman. She is a tomboy and has no such shame about it. I can say as a male, I have much respect for this woman. That is until I found out that she may have fucked Russman. Now, I see that I may have a chance at fucking her... Said Marleton. Anyways, Abigail was allegedly related to Tank Dempsey but I believe she might be more closely related to the Evil Dead realm. Well, my only evidence for this (and I really wish I had more) is her obsession with Boomsticks. Come on Bruce Campbell fans, we know that Brucey loves his fair share of boomsticks. I don't know, I just wish that Ashley Williams had sex with a girl during his time in the Tranzit area and gave birth to a self-righteous, hard talking chick named "Misty". Then again, her entire crew could be dead or worse, still alive and in limbo. So, her character and her purpose is still something of a... Meh...

22. Stanley Ferguson. I say it in my voice but hear it in Sal DeLuca's voice. I love that actor and his voice, seriously. It's like a deep ocean of Mobster danger. Anyways, Stanley Ferguson was the cop on the beat in Alcatraz. He monitored that cells that had our Four damned souls. He was killed in the alternate reality but in the real world, he was simply a guard being a witness to a breakout attempt that slowly submerged itself into madness. In the alternate reality, he plays Brutus. A demon hound hellbent on resealing the four damned souls to their fates. Of course he doesn't look like a hound but he sure does act like one when he runs. He shakes the god damn floor makes my day a living hell, bazing!

23.  Al Arlington or Albert Arlington was the creative mind behind the breakout attempt in Alcatraz. He created a machine, of his own design, capable of flight over the pacific and onto land in California. He named it Icarus. Based on the Icarus who flew too close to the sun and burned his wings in mid flight. This device of the same name flies into the sky and instead of the heat of the sun, it meets the shriek of lightning. Albert's design was never actually used or was never built because the other three inmates lost sight of the escape plan and became more concerned with personal grievances.

24. Michael "Finn" O'leary was a bootlegger and another one of the four mobsters... I should say three mobsters... Anyways, Finn had a past of gambling if I remember the trailer correctly. His wife who was a known whore "Sold him up the river" which means she ratted him out. Possibly to save her own skin. I mean her literal skin, Finn was probably taking it to her kitten every night. He just seems like that guy. Finn's character is a little fuzzy to me, but the general idea of Finn was that he was a Gambler and a Mobster.

25. Salvador "Sal" DeLuca is played by an awesome actor whose name will forever be replaced with Sal DeLuca.  Sal was the leader of the Mob, in my mind. He seemed like a level headed guy who was twisted in the head enough to work around the law to get what he wanted. Sal's general character is that he is the lead member between the three in Alcatraz but his level in terms of the rest of the Mafia is lost on me.

26. Billy Handsome, played by Ray fuckin' Liotta, is a brute type. He uses his hands to deal out all the damage he needs. He also uses his hands to mutilate his own package which I find a little disturbing. Billy was the dog of the Mafia. Where is anyone stepped on the Mafia's toes, they'd send in Billy to take care of it. In all honesty, though, since I was so interested in only Billy and Arlington, I carefully listened to their quotes and such. Billy seemed like the type who had a crying child deep inside of him being told to shut up by his ego's id. It seemed like he loved his mother and had a lot of regret over certain events in his life... It occurs to me, now, that his mother was possibly the victim of abuse and his witnessing of this scarred his mind into being a brute, cold, demon.

27. The four test subjects were Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and an alleged mexican subject that died during experimentation. It's interesting that this subject doesn't have a name.... Peter? No, no, no, that's crazy talk.

28. Well, I had not heard of a replacement subject. Although, if any, it would have to be the mexican subject for being dead and all. As for who was the stand-in, I'm not sure.

29. Who sent Dempsey to Verruct? This is something I had claimed earlier to have an understanding of but do not. My observation is that when Peter went dark in Shi no Numa, the Government sent Tank to investigate. If it was anyone who sent Tank to Verruct it had to have been the Government. I can't see in any reality, Richtofen sending a letter to tank saying "Go to Verruct, ya asshole." I'm just thinking logically here.

30. My guess is that he was possibly experimenting on Fluffy or Samantha. He just seems Satanically Cynical like that.

31. Well, now you're stumping me NaBr. I'm becoming a sad sack as I review these questions and realize that I don't have answers for a lot of them.

32. -cries-

33. The Ascension group consisted of Gersch, Yuri, and Schuster... Maybe?

34. Eddie! Ed the Head! Eddy! Iron Maiden!

935. Because when he was brainwashed like the others he was given generic qualities of his stereotype. Thus, the Russian is in love with Vodka. Either that, or it was a mental stimulant that kept him in a state of lucid existence.

36. I swear to fuck if he has the Curse. It would frustrate me because I never noticed! Well, actually, I never notice a lot of little things. Probably because I'm too busy shooting at his ass to notice anything on his face or coat. Well, I'll assume it's a code of some kind. I actually slightly remember talks of the Pentagon Thief and how there was something significant on him. Obviously not significant enough for my memory to retain it.

I would continue to answer because I totally want to take this test but... I fuckin' hate tests and school and shit... Plus, I obviously don't have a fundamental understanding of this story's characters so how can I have a fundamental understanding of the places or the things they do? It was fun to think that I knew it all. Now, all I can do is sit here and listen to Megadeth's "I Thought I Knew it All" and cry.

@DrVonstoolKudos for finishing the first section! I have copied it down for review, and will get some results back to you ASAP. So if you would go ahead and drop it all in a big spoiler, that'd be awesome!

Spoiler

I'm giving Places a go! I don't know how much I've retained but I'll be god damned if I stop at People.

Places:

1. Der Riese is The Giant, it is where the experimentation of the undead and teleportation was most conducted. According to the description of the World at War map, it is where it all started and where it might end.

2. It was near Breslau, Germany! Breslau! Breslau! 1940....7? 5? 1940's, that era.

3. Zombie Verruct is also known as zombie Asylum! It could be where all the crazies went, but it could be where all the crazies were poked and probed. I guess Stuhlinger's obsession with aliens is more of an obsession with the Nazis, both were pokin' and probin'.

4. September *, 19** FUCK, I can't remember the rest. I wish I could remember nostalgic things like that. I just smoke too much to have space for it.

5. Tunguska. I only say this because it's written in a building, and to me this was the best sign of a destination.

6. Call of the Dead, as I remember it being discussed, was taking place in Russia. This claim is only because I recall discussion of a Russian crew and a Russain boat. Kind of just used the ol' "Sounds like a duck, looks like a duck" method.

7. Oh, I know this one! I am an American Conspirist! Nevada, U.S.A.! Which is where Nuketown is too and possibly some other anomalies?

8. The mexican's replacement was -blank-. I dun nu... Educate me...

9. He was there to toss someones salad, I don't know.

10. Kino Der Toten was in Germany... I remember the Berlin Wall being a part of the map, the outskirts.

11. Griffin Station was lead by Mitch McConnell... Which is why we are where we are..

12. Russia! Because Nikolai saw some of his friends there! Oh, and the dolls! The Matryska dolls, a foreshadowing no one expected. Does this mean.. someone other than Nikolai is russian?

13. Green run was located in Atlanta... Georgia? No... Well, maybe. I remember reviewing the Green Run incident with the released iodine and such but never do I retain the exact destination that it occurred. Curse my mind filled with only dopamine.

14. China. The Great Leap Forward... More like The Great Leap Downward. That map was as fun as incest. It definitely was an acquired taste.

15. Africa. It was related to the Resolution that involved the mining of crystals in Africa. I remember reading the U.N. resolution. Although, U.N. and NATO are fucked anyway.

16. Well, there's many ways to tell where Buried is located. First off, the pyramids in the cut scene explain much of where they are and secondly, as I stated above. A little bit of research regarding the Resolution and you can piece together what and where they are.

17. Griffin Station took too long to build. So long. Mitch McConnell kept cock blocking everything we wanted to pass for Griffin Station. Like Safety measures and space suits. That fuckin' idiot wanted to send men into space without space suits! Mitch Mc-fucking-Connell everyone. The guy that blocks a 9/11 first response bill. Yeah, the same bill that helps that firefighter with cancer because he had to deal with the American False Flag Fuck-Up. I digress, Mitch McConnell is a Tall Grey who wants to eat everyones cock. I mean, Griffin Station took a while.

18. He went to Peru or Shangri La and the Moon. Because, I know all about this stuff.

19. Agartha is a mythical realm that represents the afterlife. It can be known as Agartha, the Ether, "OtherWorld", it can even be called heaven or hell. The basic idea is that it is limbo for souls. They cannot release themselves into the infinite and cannot manifest themselves in reality. They are trapped in an irreversible limbo from which no soul has returned from. Or is that my fan fiction..? I loose track of what is mine and what is Treyarch's ass-backwards idea of story.

I'm having so much fun doing this! It burns time in more ways than one!

Spoiler
  1. Who was Dr. Ludvig Maxis - Lead scientist of Group 935.
  2. Who was Dr. Edward Richtofen? - Group 935/Illuminati scientist. Working for his own personal gain, not for that of his affiliations.
  3. Who was Samantha Maxis? - Daughter of Ludvig Maxis. Controller of zombies until Edward Richtofen takes over.
  4. Who was Dr. Groph? - Head of Griffin Station.
  5. Who was Dr. Schuster? - Assistant to Dr. Groph.
  6. Who was Dr. Gersch? - Ascension scientist.

  9. Who was Dr. Harvey Yena? - Group 935 scientist. Created the Scavenger.
  10. Who was Dr. Porter? - Yet another scientist. Treyarch must have something for scientists. Created the Ray Gun.
  11. Who was Fluffy? - Samantha's dog. First Hellhound.
  12. Who was Sophia? - Ludvig's assistant. Both Sophia and Maxis developed feelings for each other, which Maxis tried to alienate. She caused all of the zobie problems we're left to clean up. She distracted Maxis from mass producing the Wunderwaffe DG-2, which made Richtofen disgruntled. Note to self: don't upset your schizophrenic co-worker who has a tendency to operate on their own behind your back.
  13. Who was Cornelius Pernell? - As a Verruckt person, I actually know this one! Sent Tank, Smokey, Banana, and the other guy in for Peter.
  14. Who were Brock and Gary? - Two explorers trapped in time while searching for Shangri-La.
  15. Who was Tank Dempsey? - United States Marine and professional badass. Captured at Wittenau Sanatorium during his attempt to rescue Peter. Used as a replacement for Richtofen's dead Mexican test subject.
  16. Who was Nikolai Belinski? - Russian drunkard with a troubled past in the Red Army. Also a test subject of Richtofen.
  17. Who was Takeo Masaki? - A loyal Japanese soldier taken by Richtofen as a test subject.
  18. Who was “Russman”? - A former Broken Arrow operative with memory loss. Stuhlinger's partner who took the Bus to Green Run with him.
  19. Who was Samuel Stuhlinger? - Conspiracy theorist who met Russman and took the Bus with him to Green Run, where they met the other two survivors. Can hear Richtofen in his head to to partial zombification caused by eating zombie flesh, as part of the group known as the Flesh.
  20. Who was Marleton Johnson? - A scientist. Surprise! A survivor of the Earth going to shit; Marlton - who I'm pretty sure doesn't have an "e" in his name, but imma let you do you - hid out in the Nuketown bunker and made his way to Green Run.
  21. Who was Abigail “Misty” Briarton? Misty was the last of the four survivors that fought in Green Run. She may be Tank's daughter, but that's a stretch based on a small quote.
  22. Who was Stanley Ferguson? Alcatraz Prison guard killed during an escape attempt. Came back as a zombie in the Cursed world the prisoners were sent to after death. Stanley was a guard, Brutus was a guard. Maybe they're the same guard... Nevermind that's just crazy. Or is it?
  23. Who was Al “The Weasel” Arlington? - Alcatraz prisoner. Part of the escape plan, Weasel designed the Icarus. After reaching the Prison roof, Weasel was killed by his partners. In the Cursed reality, Weasel escapes and kills his partners.
  24. Who was Michael “Finn” O’Leary? - One of the prisoners from Alcatraz.
  25. Who was Salvator “Sal” DeLuca? - Also a prisoner. Supposedly thought he was in charge of the escape.
  26. Who was Billy Handsome? - Prisoner as well. I think he supplied the weapons, but it might have be Finn. I know Sal was the leader, and it wasn't Al. I'm going with Handsome.
  27. Who were the four test subjects? - Nikolai, Takeo, and an unnamed Mexican.
  28. Which test subject was replaced? - The Mexican't
  29. Who sent Tank Dempsey to Verruckt? CORNELIUS PERNELL! I know this one for sure. I love Verruckt.
  30. Who else was Richtofen covertly experimenting on? - Sammantha.
  31. Who was put in charge of researching how to power the MPD? - Dr. Groph
  32. Who was his immediate colleague? Dr. Schuster.
  33. What was the Ascension Group? - A group of Soviet -you guessed it- scientists! They were working on teleportation ideas of their own involving black holes. They also created the original Thunder Gun plans.
  34. What is Richtofen's nickname? - Eddie? The Butcher? He's a doctor so maybe Doc? Great, now i want to hear someone say "What's up, Doc?' to him. IDK any other ones.
  35. Why is Nikolai addicted to vodka? He got thrown away by the Red Army on the front lines, which ruined his life. The experience left him depressed. He took to drinking. After being used as a 115 test subject he became stuck in that state.
  36. What mark does the Pentagon Thief have, and on what map can it be found? - This isn't really fair. I just was playing Five with friends on 360 system link. I went to the Zombie Library page for it first, and looked at the Pentagon Thief's model among other things. He has equations all over his skin, which I presume to be related to electricity, as his file name refers to him as an electrician. He also wears a satchel with a Group 935 logo on the flap. The strap says "Living Dead" in Illuminati Code.

@M16 EPIC You, sir, are a Metazombiologist. Excellent.

Spoiler

I was inwardly cheering you on with each answer. Bravo! I may use some of your answers in the answer key (not that any were wrong-I just may go into more detail on some.)

The point of this was to prove your knowledge, however. Further detail is just extra points, you nailed this.

The only ones that may be off were 35-Nikolai was treated using "a serum made primarily from Vodka. However, I may have forgotten any previous addiction. 36-he has a illuminati pyramid on his pouch (am I wrong about that?) and it can be found in many places on Ascension, primarily.

You have renewed my faith! Good to find another true fan.

I was just on the Destiny forums when I got an e-mail that I was mentioned here/there was a reply.

Spoiler

I looked through the Pentagon Thief files again, but I forgot to follow-up here; the triangle is on his coat, while the satchel has the 935 logo. And for Nikolai, I can't find any hard evidence currently; but as I remember he had so many wives because he married politically. As he moved up in society, he made enemies. He was eventually sent to the front lines, where it was assumed he would die. He didn't. He turned to alcohol, specifically vodka, to drown his sorrows and remorse. After capture, Richthofen treated him with a vodka-based serum, reigning and worsening the addiction.

Thanks, I really like this quiz.

I haven't finished it yet, but the things I don't know, I will research.

Also, I have watched the storyline video from JFKgamers, I looks really nice.

However, like you (or Tac, I believe) said earlier about the Aether and Agartha, some things are REALLY hard or impossible to explain in words.

7. Life Force/Energy
Ref1: "The machine is powered by life force!" - Dr. Richtofen, Moon

Ref2: "It draws energy from matter - living OR dead!" - Richtofen, Origins ("Soul Boxes," similar tech)

8. The jump pads did not exist in the biodome at the time of Sam's takeover or Richtofen's last visit. It may be assumed that they were an American invention, added after the Cold War discovery of the base.

I cannot recall the exact quote ATM, but it can be found in any Richtofen Moon Quotes video. Check @PINNAZ Call of Duty Zombies Library YT channel.

I know Richtofen talked about Schusters (I'm pretty sure it was him) having an addition to things American, hence why the PA system on Moon was an American female's voice. Other than that, I'm not sure about the Americans having made the jump pads since all the US did was screw with the teleporter.

Groph, actually, but you're on the right track. "American women and their games..." something to that effect, during the interface terminal usage step of the EE.

But is that all the US did? The presence of Bagger 288s' on the moon would seem to indicate that *someone* had been there post 1970s', and it wasn't the Germans, even though the Bagger 288 is a German model (certain arguments could be made into the possibility of it being a secret design at the time of the war, but unlikely) while the presence of Russian model rockets, I believe (I always forget what model - @BlindBusDrivr knows) also indicates a postwar presence. The A51 MTD also worked flawlessly and was properly linked to the moon MTD, the design of which was not a 935 design, presumably more advanced, the latter being known to destroy zombies who came within its operating range.

I posted by change this topic yesterday, in which I also discuss how the Group 935-American relation concerning Griffin Station might have been:

By the way: In events and science nr. 28 there is made a mistake: "How did the earth become the wasteland that it is in Nuketown, Green Run, Great Leap Forward, and Resolution 1295?". Nuketown takes place before the Moon missile's. I feel such a smartass now :P.

How does that "powered" work? I believe the MPD opens indeed when you kill zombies near the Vrill device, that absorbs the life force. But all those years in which Griffin Station was abandoned, Samantha used the MPD without life force. So does it only needs energy to open it?

Ah, yes, I have always been of the opinion that G935 is an international scientific community centered in Germany, but of course we can't forget Operation Paperclip. Currently reading your thread.

Good point on Nuketown. Noted.

Another good point. The MPD simply seems to give access to the Dark Aether, so you're right. "Powering" it simply refers to the process of opening the panels to permit access.
