Rate all zombies maps in order of preference!
anonymous replied to ZombiesAteMyPizza!'s topic in General Zombies Discussion
1. Tranzit: IMO, the best atmosphere of all zombie maps, and I love the game element of the bus. Also, the map which introduced Zombies for me. 2. Origins: Never get bored in this map: There are always things you can do here. Also challenging but not too hard. 3. Ascension: This map is quite new for me AND I LOVE IT! Both wide terrain and tight hallways, and the classic zombie atmosphere returns. 4. Kino: This map is a symbol for CoD zombies. Quite easy, and the last nazi zombie map (except Der Eisendrache). 5. Buried: A very worked out map, with many details. Very easy, but when you go out of the camp spots, you can explore a huge, challenging map (in the buildings and tunnels). 6. Verrückt: A really scary map, and after Tranzit the best map to play split screen with friends (when you are segregated by the power-door). 7. Five: First, really challenging, but after you activated the four defqon switches: Lock and load, and get ready to kill. 8. Shi No Numa: The map which gives me the most O4 feeling, if you know what I mean. Not a map you can play for hours, but still a good one. 9. Moon: Its a bit grey and uncoloured, but its a really comprehensive map, in both its size and the things you can do. Also, together with Die Rise, the only map which still really challenges me. 10. Shangri La: After SNN, the map with the biggest O4 feeling. One of the only not depressing maps. Oh and I hate the sprinting soundwave zombies. 11. Der Eisendrache: Good atmosphere, but like all bo3 maps, too "shiny". It gives both old game elements back as new ones. 12. Die Rise: Only played this map for a few times at a friend, so I cant really coordinate in here, I dont know the way. Thats a reason why I dont really like it, but I think if I played it more, I would like it. Very hard. 13. Der Riese/ the Giant: First map that introduced PaP! But after played it for some times, I get a bit bored. Still some radios to found. 14. Mob of the Dead: Together with SoE, the "shiniest" map. I dont like that. I also never got into that afterlife thing. Also no O4 or N4. But the map itself I actually liked (a bit). 15. Nacht der Untoten: Challenging and funny to play with friends, but to play seriously and to reach high rounds…..nah. 16. Shadows of Evil: Combined both afterlife/beast (MotD) and generators/rituals (Origins). Both things I didnt like in the previous maps. But I like all the buildings with neon lights. Further, Im not a big fan of it. 17. Dead ops arcade: This is not zombies anymore. But its funny, though. I never played Call of the Dead -

I think it has a great atmosphere and I love the new game element of the bus. Also, it was the first map which introduced buildables but I think the most important reason why I like it is a personal one: I played Kino once before, but I was completely unknown with zombie mode. I even didnt knew CoD. Around the BO2 time, I was getting familar with CoD, and later with zombies (now I never play MP anymore). Tranzit was the map I got familar zombie mode and learned playing it. The same reason many people likes Nacht. @shirtlesservice Haha, yeah, you can say so:) -
Your best down:revive ratio in a single game?

Nice profile picture, btw -
Kino and Five could be possible, but I think the other maps are too large to recreate. I really hope there will be a Rezurrection 2.0 for BO3

So, on Mob, I am usually am a 15-20 round player...

Nice. I guess you died in either a Brutus round, or you were out of ammo? -
@JJMFP When do you think there will be a picture/video released now? And what am I doing wrong with @...., how can I turn that grey like it is when others mention someone?

Your best down:revive ratio in a single game?
anonymous replied to ZombiesAteMyPizza!'s topic in General Zombies Discussion
I And your team mates didnt had this? Or you are VERY good, or they are VERY bad, or both. I mean, 0 downs thats really good (I usually have 3-5 or so) and 61 downs is really bad. And you revived them always -

Havent seen this post before. 61 revives and 0 downs, wow, thats quite something. I think my record is something like 15 revives and 0 deads, so thats not even close to yours -
Welcome to the site, what kind of videos are you going to make? Story related/theories, or gameplay?
-
Haha, I love what theyre doing right now. I love the feeling of curiousity when you know you will get it soon.

Every game ends in dead (except Origins and MotD for one person). Dead in the game doesnt mean dead in the story. Like the O4 in der Riese, in the game they finally die, but in the story they overload the MTD with the DG-2, thus ripping space-time and sending them to somewhere else. It could be the N4 somehow found a way out to survive, but like @Doppelgänger said, they dont have a value for him anymore, so why wouldnt he let them die. And if they survive, how could they reach the TG/DE universe? I dont think they come back as playable characters, however I do think it would be cool if they did. And that MotD plane in The Giant, couldnt that be a unforseen consequence of the ripping of space-time by the O4?

The coordinates from SoE, are they leading to Pohnpei or Nan Madol?
-
I cant find CoDZtube, maybe it is because of the theme I use. It isnt under media center, right?

Welcome to CoDZombies. Glad to hear you played the first maps too. And sad to hear you dont have that notebook anymore, it sounds like it was full of interesting stuff.

It always feels good to help someone, so thank you too.

That guy, mrDalekJD, thats a nasty one. Do more people know he is a thief who steals from this site and reddit? Oh, and I took a look at your channel, it looks great. Nice you still talk about Shi No Numa and Buried and some other old maps. Mr Dalek only talks about the new maps, while there are still so much mysteries around the old ones.
-
Didnt know THAT. If he stole it, it is so mean and he doesnt deserve all those views. And with your latest video, do you mean you have a youtube channel too? And that storyline that you are making, together with Tac and MrRoffleWaffles, is it gonna be a video or a text? Im really looking forward to the release, how for are you guys already? Sorry for telling telling funkydisciple about JFKgamer. I really didnt know about the that stealing/copying part.
-
Haha, thank you.

Nuketown already was a zombie map, so I'll vote for Infection. If you zombify this map you get a creepy, old ww2 styled village, and I think that is great for zombies. Also, I wonder what happens when you zombify Redwood. Not a real zombie map but I think thats cool though, we never had a creepy forrest as zombie map.

I understand you completely, and I know the pages I gave you take a lot of time to read. @NaBrzHunter said youtube is a bad place to learn the story, and he's right about that, but I have to say, at least one is good. If you search Call of Duty Zombies Story on youtube, one of the first videos that pop up is one made by JFKgamer or something. It is for around 45 minutes listening (mainly radios) but there is also a narrator who explains it all. I think that one is a good one to learn the story from W@W till Origins.

Somehow, the like button is gone for me (strange glitch), but I fully agree with you. Was der Riese based on a multiplayer map too?
