  1. nice job Nai, I would definitely be interested in using this strategy.
  2. Anyone familiar with the youtuber Thatguywhocamps? I really miss him and wonder what's going on in his life.

  3. Beast, that was the first time I believed one of your stories. Why does it have to be the first of April? Unrelated, I now believe all of your stories just because you seem to have the worst luck in the game with glitches, lol.
  4. Place the subsurface Resonator on the table above the Giant's cage, turbine in courthouse. leave courthouse door closed and use paralyzer to get into it so you are safe from z's while getting turbine mid-round. have a trample steam and headchopper trap set up in the back of jug alley in case you get pushed back, use monkeys instead of time bombs so you can escape when pushed back. Use the PaP'd AN-94 until round 30 or so and hit headshots to make low rounds fast. Always have a mark II upgraded past 35. use grenades on insta kill. hmmmm... that's all I got
  5. Hi guys! I just thought of a new challenge for you all! The FaZe Challenge is a challenge in which, over the course of severe box spamming (or maybe a stroke of luck), you must acquire a DSR 50 and store it in either Tranzit, Die Rise or Buried inside of the refrigerator. Also, this would be better done as a co-op challenge with 3 other people who would like to join as well. After you store your DSR, finish that game and start a new game of Die Rise with your friends / challenge mates. Retrieve your DSR, and set up as necessary without giving up your dsr and m1911. Mule kick only grants you a slot for allowed pistols and snipers, which are: Kap 40, Five Seven, Executioner, Python, and Barrett. Absolutely no non-snipers or pistols, and no SVU-AS, ray gun mk I or II, and any of their upgraded counter parts. Turn aim assist off, crank your sensitivity up to 14 unless you frequently use it- this is a challenge, so if you play with a higher sensitivity, set it to 1. Only use your pistol once all sniper ammo is depleted, except for mustang and sally, this can be used to escape risky situations. Claymores and monkeys allowed, trample steam only for minion rounds. The whole team must camp together. When sniping a zombie, you may only zoom in on it for 2 seconds or less, again to provide a challenge. The last zombie of each round past 20 must be killed with a "trickshot"; that is, jump down a ledge or staircase of some sort, spin around a ton, and snipe the zombie before you land. Have fun, I hope some of you teams can get past 30!
  6. Its worse for infected players.
  7. Hi CoDz! I was just wondering what weapons from CoD Ghosts you would like to see implemented into the next zombies installment? I ask because of the few that were brought back in BO2, namely the Barrett, RPD and MP5 (I know it was in BO1 zombies, but it was the MW3 model). A few of the weapons I would like to see in zombies from Ghosts: Chainsaw: This hip-fire only weapon is super fun to use in Extinction, and I feel it would be twice as fun in zombies (since, you know, its zombies). Pack-a-Punched, I could see this gun have a clip size of 100, with a reserve of 200, along with rapid fire and the retaining of its assault rifle mobility. Could be called the Shackleslicer as a pun on its original name. Lynx: The Lynx sniper rifle is the only way Treyarch could pay us back for the horror that was the Barrett in BO2z. This high damage machine is limited only by its accuracy when sprayed and its low mobility, however, upon PaP'ing, these hindrances can be mitigated. I would like to see movement speed for the PaP'd Lynx go up to a solid 90% w/o stamin-up as opposed to ghosts 80%, and the recoil drastically reduced, attachments can be cycled in with additional visits to the PaP machine. A fitting name would be the Lyon, to continue the line of feline predators and still reminisce the former title. MTAR-X: Oh, this gun. This thing is probably the best SMG in Ghosts, save the new ripper (hint, hint). While the Mtar has already appeared in Zombies, its SMG variant would be a fun addition as well. Boasting high range as well as some ugly iron sights, the X could be upgraded and receive the thermal-hybrid scope to counter its disgusting stock irons. I forsee a play on its first name unlikely, however, I am open to the ideas of the MTAR X-tasy or Matter X-tinguisher. Ripper: The gun that switches on the fly can now be used to rip apart the undead as well! The ripper is a new DLC weapon in CoD Ghosts that can be manually switched from an SMG form to an AR form while playing, including switching from iron sights to new opticals and changing fire rates! While zombies have yet to see anything like this, I would like to think the upgraded version would offer something even more interesting: cue the Shredder (TMNT nostalgia everywhere). The Shredder will be able to switch from four different weapon types at once, retaining its AR-SMG combo on one side of the d-pad and introducing a Shotgun-Sniper combo on the other side. The benefits to this would be: two separate ammo sources (one for each hybrid), along with a high versatility for different play styles- the circle-running smg slayer, the AR / Sniper camping long viewpoints and funneling zombies, and the shotgun relief for pinch situations. Imagine having two choices on either side of the D-Pad, and being able to switch when the waves require different tactics? Sounds fun to me! Now, there are a few other weapons I would like to see, but honestly, these were my four favorites from ghosts. On an unrelated note, my fingers are crossed that the ripper will appear in the next installment of extinction! What do you guys want to see from Ghosts in BO3 Zombies? I also presume that BO3 or whatever Treyarch produces will include some of Sledgehammer's weapons if SH goes the futuristic shooter route for the next CoD. Thanks for reading!
  8. I definitely agree with the new engine idea. While tweaking the engine with each game has slightly improved on some of the most visible problems in old CoDs, it has worn thin the original coding of some very important elements as well (BO2 melee, anyone?). With Sledgehammer boasting that they are working on the most ambitious CoD to date, maybe they could be creating a completely new engine. However, I sincerely doubt this, due to SH's lack of experience in the industry, as they are pretty much brand new to developing, with the only project under their belt being unknown parts of mw3 (a pure disaster of a game, in my opinion). I believe Treyarch has the opportunity and experience to develop a new engine, since they have time. Honestly, Treyarch's CoDs have been the saving grace of the series. I enjoyed mw2 for a few seconds, but BO1 was a much needed slowdown to the abundance of bull crap that was mw2 multiplayer. Onto the gameplay portion (more specifically zombies), I would like to see all current maps remastered and implemented first day of release. It would also be nice to choose the weapon era that we could use as well (imagine W@W-Z weapons on maps like Die Rise) for each map. While that would only be in a custom game setting, it would be very interesting and a nice change of pace. Also, private matches need to be re-implemented for co-op leaderboards, and a ton of security tests done periodically (if a player gets to round 100 without moving once, I want treyarch to review the footage) so that glitches and hacks are shut down swiftly. Ranking system- I like the mystery the one in BO2 had at first, however once it was clear it was dependent on low downs, I was sure I could never get shotguns. The ranking system needs to have a few additions this time around: a player's first 3-5 games on a map should not be counted towards the ranking system, however should add to their kills, downs, and other stats. This will allow players to learn the maps without getting GG'd by a robot's foot or elevator first time around. Revives should be emphasized more than they currently are, as well as headshots. Also, boss kills should be added to stats, separated into the different categories (Panzer kills =/= Brutus kills) just to see which bosses you are competent against. I would like to be able to view random's stats as well while in a public lobby, however, take a halo approach and prevent players from leaving a lobby (praying for dedicated servers if this is the case). More round based and boss zombies instead of creatures like denizens that prevent movement. Less dependent on transportation devices unless they can be controlled (ability to call Die Rise Elevators without keys, please?). All in all, I liked what every CoDz game had to offer, how about Treyarch just refine it so people aren't able to make the game unplayable with barrier glitches and the like that we have seen for years?
  9. What round did you get to? And I have never seen this glitch before.
  10. Alright, I'm gonna do this from the perspective of Die Rise, the Origins, because like MegaAfroMan said, it completely varies from map to map. Die Rise: 1. Juggernog 2. Quick Revive (Same for solo and co-op) 3. Double Tap II 4. Speed Cola 5. Who's Who (not to say I don't like it) 6. Mule Kick and Origins: 1. Juggernog 2. Stamin up 3. Quick Revive 4. Mule Kick 5. Speed Cola 6. Deadshot 7. pHD Flopper 8. Double Tap II 9. Electric Cherry (Absolutely HATE this perk, I actually like Tombstone and Who's Who)
  11. I like reviving people and keeping the game going, while I also like being the scumbag to get the wonder weapon first as I presume (usually correctly) that I am the only person who knows how to use it. I constantly take the sliquifier in Die Rise so I can keep the game going should my teammates go down. Also, I enjoy being the player with the most headshots, I can't stand missing my headshots past round 5.
  12. The infamous One-Man-Army has made it's way to zombies now. Tears :"(
  13. I have a few pretty amazing spots for co-op in my own opinion that are quite fun and challenging once the 30s-40s hit. Die Rise: Camp the floor below the roof with the tower. Now, there are two doors that must stay closed at all times, the rest of the doors either must be bought to access it or are optional. From the roof, buy the couch leading down the stairs. Next, turn right at the first turn and buy the double doors. Next, turn left and look at the barrier against the wall in the back. This is the only barrier that zombies will attack your back from, and once iron bars are acquired, it is exceptionally easy to cover. The rest of the zombies funnel through the hallway as long as you camp with the one barrier to your back and the doors to your right closed. Fun with 2-3 players, haven't tried it with four. Obviously, the more people back there, the more firepower, however more zombies per round and less ammo is the downside to this. AN-94 PaP'd, RGII, monkey bombs, and a Sliquifier are the best setup, as well as trample steams. The rest of the weapons are personal preference. Mob of the Dead: After Round 20, the most fun spot to camp with a max of two players is inside the jail cell in the warden's office where the rigging to the plane is found. there are no spawns inside and there is a small window to shoot through for the player not guarding the door. Suggested setup is 2 vitriolic whitherings and a RGII for one person at least. Other person can run either an LSAT or Uzi for buyable ammo as secondary. both take turns firing their whitherings and popping heads of zombies. Extremely fun, could have went to 50 with a friend of mine using this strat but was forced to turn my xbox off by the Moms. These are two of the most fun strategies I have ever done since I started playing zombies, honestly.
  14. I know where all parts are except the easter egg parts for guillotine and gallows in Buried. I often find many people questioning me where the parts are as well.
  15. Just got to round 31 on CotD before my power flashed two waves in. I had all 8 perks, Hyena Infra-Dead, Mustang and Sally, and Vr-11. No downs. That was probably the closest to round 50 I will ever get in Black Ops 1. Tears :"(

Yes Lawton, I'd appreciate that as well. :P P.S. Does anyone know how long the Scavenger is a one-hit, as well as it's PaP'd counterpart?

  16. Does anyone have any two day passes for Xbox Live? I'm not trying to beg, just need something to hold me over until I buy my subscription again. PM me. :)

Give me a shout, I'm sure I have one or two.

  17. Scar-H PaP'd is the Argathan Reaper, not Soul Scarer. just thought I'd let you know, not trying to heckle you or anything. great work so far!
  18. I think every map has some pretty great and pretty bland qualities to it, however my top 2 are a tie between Origins and Die Rise. Yours?
  19. Hey CoDz! Who wants to play some Origins? I wanna get some high rounds (30+) and try and get the Easter Egg done as well. Send a friend request to Ya Boy BrayJay on xbox if you want to play, I will invite!

  20. Yeah I've heard that. I think there are other factors that it reduces though. Maybe viewkick? I'm not quite sure.
  21. I pressed no buttons. I looked it up on youtube however and found that others had encountered this as well. I almost pooped my pants. Well done Treyarch.
  22. Playing Buried. went to a box location to sit for a few minutes as I was AFK and the giant had a crawler. When I returned to my controller, I saw the teddy bear's head on the box move. It raised its head, looked to the left, and then dropped its head back down. I reviewed this in theatre mode and was epically scared. :/
  23. I think it was a patch pretty early in the Die Rise lifecycle, either then or halfway through Buried and Origins when everyone migrated back to Die Rise because of Buried's easiness. They seem to be generally the same speed for me since I started being a try hard in zombies, so it was probably around that time.
  24. I totally agree with what you said here. I am skull rank, and constantly when I get into public matches with other skulls, they immediately ready up or ask if I have a mic. However, if a cross bones joins our lobby, they leave, or never ready up until the cross bones leave, and ridicule them with such insults as "fag", "kid" (why is this even a viable insult? zombies have no age preference), and of course, "noob". I am working for shotguns or at least a knife right now and its frustrating playing with bad attitude players of higher rank as they talk down to me constantly. However, I have met a few players who were completely opposite: showed me a good camping spot, only killed zombies when I needed help, and revived immediately. It was pleasant having their support. I guess I do care more about ranks than many just because I'm butt hurt that revives seemingly have nothing to do with it.
  25. Thanks Boom! I actually looked up a map layout guide and found out where it was last night, as well as stamin up. would have definitely preferred them to mule kick and speed cola, even quick revive after my teammates left would have nice to let go off, but I did not want to lose.
