  1. There is. I was having a look at this image (highest resolution image of Green Run I could find) And upon further inspection, I noticed to the right of Town you can see the power station I don't know why they made it so difficult to see, maybe there is someway of moving the fog or opening up that section to reveal a new game mode, like the Diner with Turned. I would imagine that they could open up the Power Plant section as a standalone map in future DLCs if they wished, maybe for Survival, Grief, Turned, or a new gamemode.
  2. What is the weapon that is displayed on your stats screen under "Most Used Weapon"? I found it interesting that for both Co-Op and Versus, my most commonly used weapon was the M1911. I guess it's because I use that weapon every single game. I wish it was something cooler, like the Ray Gun :(
  3. Awesome guys! I'm so excited for this map! Gonna be playing it all day tomorrow. Hope I can DL it before I go to sleep so it'll be ready for me in the morning :)
  4. Wait, how does tossing grenades at people constitute trolling?
  5. Even though it may be important, I don't really think headshot percentage is the only thing preventing you from getting shotguns. The reason I say this is because RelaxingEnd did a video series a while back where he made a brand new account and got shotguns. In that, he mainly used weapons like the Ray Gun, Sliquifier, and Jet Gun during his high round solo runs. If you look at his stats when he achieved shotguns, I think his headshot percentage was below 10%. There may be another reason why shotguns aren't working for you? Well played I skimmed through your post and it looks interesting. Maybe I'll give it a shot, but I may have an interview that weekend :|
  6. Thanks to InfestLithium for all the tips! I'll take that into consideration. My current rank is actually skull with knife, so I'm not mad at all about stats or rank on my main. Like I said, I really do not care about stats at all (I have over 2000 downs, 1500+ coming from playing over 100 games of Turned, which is a gamemode I love). I'm just doing this for a challenge to see how fast I can achieve shotguns. I feel that it will be a way for me to become more skilled as a zombies players through the number of hours I would need to play to achieve the rank, as well as give me a long-term goal to reach for. I don't really plan on "showing them off" as you put it; in fact, after I get the shotguns, I don't anticipate using that account much at all.
  7. I'm thinking about making a brand new account just to try to get the Shotguns rank, as my current account's stats are too poor to achieve that rank (40 overall K/D). I usually don't care about stats too much, but I think this will be a fun little quest for me to do over the summer. First off, I've included a poll to decide what name I should use for this account. Given that my main account is based off the Quick Revive jingle, I was thinking of continuing that theme, or maybe making a different kind of username. Secondly, for anyone who has done this challenge, how many hours of gameplay would this take? Lastly, what do you guys think would be the best way to approach this? I guess I'll be playing a lot of solo games, as those are the easiest to maximize K/D. Should I also focus on getting as many headshots as possible, or do headshots not matter? Also, should I play with randoms to get a lot of revives as well? Thanks in advance for all the help!
  8. I know this is a bit off topic, but I wasn't sure where else to post this. Does anyone here play survival mode in spec ops in MW3? I knew about it for a while, but I didn't start playing until yesterday. I've gotten 20+ on most maps I've played, with a high of 26 on Underground. However, after looking online I noticed there's not much in terms of strategy. Anyone who plays this game mode, feel free to post tips/pointers for getting to high rounds. I'm trying to break Wave 30 on all maps.
  9. nice find same reason people complained that nuketown is bad because no jug instantly. They do not have any skill. In 4 games of grief I played on cellblock i only went down during my 4th game. Agreed about Jugg part. I feel a lot of people are too reliant on Jugg these days. I find that if you want to be a better zombies player, the best way is to play with no Jugg (or no perks at all). It forces you to be a lot more careful and precise in running trains.
  10. There's no way they are remastering WaW maps in BO2. That's already been done in BO1 and redo-ing again would be pointless really. I could see them remastering Kino, Ascension, and Moon as those were the classic 3 BO1 maps. The easter egg for the last map will definitely be huge, and involve all 4 NavCard tables/NavCards. I wouldn't be surprised if they added features to the first 3 BO2 maps as well after completing the final EE (alternate bus route, anyone?). As for the final EE reward, I'm personally hoping for every single perk awarded that has been on every map made thus far, which would be like 12 perks :D
  11. SO glad to hear there's no Jugg on this map. When I play Grief on Town, with 7 other good players, the games can go on until round 20+, taking hours. The only way these games end is when someone (usually me) gets EMPs and takes out Jugg. The lack of Jugg on this map will make it a true Grief map indeed. I was personally hoping for a Grief map with no perks at all, but no Jugg is almost as good :D
  12. Man, that's unfortunate...I guess I should stop trying to go for high rounds with randoms then.
  13. Hey guys, So I just finished a record run (for me) on Der Riese where me and 2 randoms got to round 25 and we were going strong. We probably could have gotten 30+. However on Round 25, my game suddenly froze and it kicked me out and said, "Lost connection to host". The worst part is, my round didn't even count on the leaderboards! I've been googling a bit and apparently this happens if the host leaves or disconnects himself. It's not a problem with my internet personally. Is this true? If it is true, is there a way I can host the game so that this BS doesn't happen? I also got this error message after a personal best run on Ascension. It's really annoying me.
  14. Thanks for the info! Sucks that you can't do the Moon EE solo...was really hoping I could have all 8 perks for a high round solo run. Any idea which EE's are able to be done solo? The only one that I know of is CotD.
  15. Great thread! I have a couple questions myself: 1) Is it impossible to get all 8 perks on Moon solo? 2) What is the most efficient way to kill George Romero? Also, is it true that you can get the Wunderwaffe from killing him before doing the Easter Egg if you currently have a Death Machine equipped?
  16. As title says, I don't want to pay $15 for one zombies map, especially when BO1 has been out for over 2 years. Is there any third-party website where I can purchase map pack codes for cheaper?
  17. What? No, you can run a circle in the launch pad in front of the Pack-A-Punch starting on Round 1. It is really easy. You're going to have stragglers until 45, perhaps, but even with them, it's not that hard. I don't mean offense, Needalittlerevive. I once ran there from Round 12 to Round 42. Haha no offense taken! I'm not very good at zombies (yet), and I've only played the BO1 maps a few times each. Which area are you talking about (the launch pad)? Is it the one with the lander? @lemonade, I had no clue the spawn rates maxed out at that high of a level! Makes sense why I had difficulty then, thanks!
  18. I was under the impression it was low-mid 30s but I think I'm wrong. I tried to do the PaP room strategy on Ascension starting from level 30 and I was having some difficulty because I kept getting hit by some stragglers.
  19. Just got to Round 35 on this map! Is it bad that this is the first map I've broken round 30 on for BO1 maps? I died because I was trying to use the traps but I forgot to call in the elevator on the top floor like a dumbass :|
  20. No I didn't glitch, and it's not like the Galvaknuckle spawn glitch where you could eat a hot dog and get to round 100 with one hand on the controller. I probably fell off 2-3 times a round and had to train around the room to group them up and re-establish myself. It's not like I sat there for the entire 50 rounds. Also I suicided because it was 4am and I had class the next day. I also have no intention of going above round 50 on any map.
  21. Actually, 834567 is right. Before getting Mule Kick, I had the Sliquifier and the SVU. I bought the PDW for third slot. While going for a loop from the café to the dragon building, I go down from fall damage even after hitting the slide before the next level in the elevator shaft. (Round 31, with Jug. I was pretty freakin' upset.) When I get up, I've only got the PDW and SVU. Sliquifier is simply gone. To troll me even more, the zombie I was saving died. I simply turned off my Xbox at that point. Same thing happened to me. Lost my Sliquifier. This is why you need to stay away from Mule Kick in BO2.
  22. I've gotten to 50 in less than 2.5 hours camping in the Buddha room with Sliquifier. I just sit on top of the broken pillar, put a few claymores down, and wait for zombies to gather up at the bottom of the pillar before shooting them. I didn't even have to swap out the Sliquifier before Round 50. Very safe and easy.
  23. Nope. All buildables remain at their tables for collection. The Jetgun is the only buildable that requires rebuilding in Tranzit, and that is only if it explodes. That's pretty cool! Two questions though: 1) At what point does the meter have to be at for the Jet Gun to explode? Is it the beginning or end of the "red section"? 2) When you swap your electric trap for the Jet Gun, won't zombies attack and destroy the electric trap?
  24. I thought you have to rebuild buildables after you take 4 of them? or am I wrong?
  25. Interesting strategy! I've seen pros running the farm area before, never thought of doing it myself. I guess the spawns are just super fast there. Couple questions though: 1. What weapon do you keep in the fridge? Just Galil/HAMR/RPD? 2. Is the Jet Gun still usable after patch? I figured the cooldown time was too much for it to be viable. 3. How do you recover from a down? I used to train in Town because I could just grab Jug and Stamin-up and finish the Round, then get my other perks back. I was having trouble with this at Tunnel as well.
