  1. Yep, Treyarch got us a better picture of the "Mauser" weapon today, in the "Letters From The Field" photo album! Mauser (PROTOTYPE CXS)- MAXIS JAN. 5, 1915. ATTACHMENT SCOPE There also seems to be some type of code at the bottom. It's in the square under Maxis. Maxis scale: 11' 7" weight: 1,320g code: m1916cxs I believe that this is not a WW, but rather a new weapon being introduced, such as the Remington New Model Army, or the M1927. Also, some people have said it may be the M1915. I searched "M1915", and only found automatic weapons, or tiny pistols. I tried "Mauser 1915", and only rifles/shotguns popped up. Hopefully, we have more information on what this weapon is, or how it functions soon. If any of you code-ciphering guys could unravel the code, we might have something. Thank you all for reading this!
  2. Thanks, Jake! It's a nice guide and it's very informative!
  3. I got one on Round 50 today, when no zombies were around! I was sitting on top of the General Store, and I got a random green flash when a zombie was being held by Macklemore lol I've gotten so many random ones today, it's crazy
  4. Just in general lol. I really need help on this mode
  5. I recently played with MurderMachine, Grill, and Delta, and let's just say, I SUCK AT GRIEF! That being said, I was wondering if anyone could teach me in person, as well as link some threads of some nice tactics, and other little tidbits of information that could help me improve and play as good as I do in Solo/Co-op. Thank you
  6. Also, it's honestly my favourite map of BO2. I like the "Western" setting, I love underground as well, and it is fun once you start having "oh crap!" moments. I wish they had more secrets like MOTD, and maybe some radios. The song was amazing. I hope 3arch caters to the rap fans again, however, and includes a custom Eminem song, as well as a Rock song in the next DLC. It's not the best map ever, but it is pretty fun. Here's my BO2 Ranking: 1. Buried 2. Die Rise 3. MOTD 4. Nuketown Zombies 5. TranZit (Bus Depot was OK)
  7. Not to mention the characters interact much more with eachother and the map in MoTD. Buried reminds me of Ascension; really really easy and gets boring way too quickly. But in Buried's defense, haven't played it with others yet. (not sure if I want to with reports of trolling randoms shooting leroy/bigguy/macklemore/annoying ai the first second he gets out of his cage) You, you used my nickname. Thank you ;)
  8. Nah, I'm pretty sure Bieber is
  9. Macklemore. He gets candy from the Thrift Shop.
  10. I posted this on a thread once, but no one noticed. However, I have yet to see news of this persistent perk elsewhere, so I may as well be the discoverer Anyways, I'd like to call this little one, "Backstabber". Basically, all I know is that it is obtained on Buried, and usually by 2 times of using the melee attack in a row. I only noticed faster knifing, and a little bit of it being stronger (2-knife kills on Round 5) I keep forgetting to do a video on it, but please, don't make one before me lol, I need the views really bad. I'll probably make it tomorrow.
  11. After this new patch, the Big Guy (Macklemore) will not go back to his cage if a shot (I don't know about spraying) hits him from far away. However, if you are near him, and you shoot him, he still goes back. So you don't have to worry about shooting him while camping now!
  12. I think Xbox Live has been hacked. I noticed when I first signed in, it said not all content on Live would work properly or something, like there were no dashboard adds, I couldn't access my pins, but I could join a party. Downloaded update, BO2 didn't work. I decided to play Assassin's Creed 2, but it barely loaded, and near froze my Xbox. At the same time, my friend could no longer play Fifa 13. Midnight Club LA worked, but I'm sure that's because it's a smaller portion of the Online spectrum, cause no one really plays it. I keep randomly disconnecting from Live though. Also, I hopped on Minecraft. It would freeze right before it would load up a world. Another interesting thing or 2 to note, would be that I looked through my storage devices when I was in a party, and it said Cloud Games was offline. I also saw several things in many games storage called "Title Progress Cache", and it had a yellow exclamation point, usually reserved for corrupted or downloading games. But I'm not done yet. I went to play Dead Rising 2, and it froze the first time. The second time, it was froze on checking DLC, and I pressed the middle button, and I finally was able to start a game. However, it froze randomly later on in that game, even though I have it installed. I swear, this needs to be fixed.
  13. Where is Gersch and his lab assistant? Who is in the picture on Kino? What scientist is shown on the film reels in Kino? Perhaps it's Maxis? Who is the Pentagon Thief? Where are the O4? Where do Denizens Come from? What is Broken Arrow exactly? Where did Weasel go? Is he really the mastermind of the whole story (as my theory suggests)? Who is indeed The Editor? Perhaps it's George? What ever happened to Brutus/Ferguson later on? How does Pop Goes The Weasel affect the story? What/Who is in the wisp? Who is the big guy? Is he from the Aether? Why are the CDC and CIA on the Buried Grief Map? Why not Cowboys and Miners or something? What were they mining in Buried? What is the big machine in the Spawn Room on Buried? How come you can hear Maxis louder when near it? Who created the Time Bomb? Who created the Ray Gun Mark 2? Will the Sliquifier ever be upgradeable, as the old promos used to say about multiple upgradeable wonder weaponry? Perhaps by doing a random series of tasks? What happened to the COTD crew? Who is in all of the pictures on Buried? What about Russman's background and past? What about the things in the BO1 loading screens? Who created the Sliquifier? Who created the button? How did the 2 pairs in the N4 meet? What happened to the robot buss driver? How was he created, and why does he have blue eyes? Who was the man in the Die Rise loading screen tear? How did the phasers/jumping jacks lose their nova gas? Who created Tombstone, Who's Who, and Vulture-Aid? How come zombies don't attack the big guy (Macklemore)? Who is JD? I heard it on Kino. Who is Saber10? Will we ever possibily play at Broken Arrow?
  14. I'm only confused about 2 things: 1. Can you still you a Paralyzer to launch over the fence to the Mansion without using the Big Guy? 2. You can now hold both the Time Bomb and Monkey Bomb?
  15. Glad you liked it! Something got into me and I decided I would do map ideas again! And yeah, PTG does make me quite angry with their spoilers.
  16. ntroduction: Welcome! I would like to introduce you to an idea of mine, that would possibly become the biggest, and perhaps, best zombies map of all time. Here's a quick summary of the setting: You start in current times. On the Moon. In Griffin Station. Don't worry however, you (the O4, including a physcotic Samantha/Richtofen) won't be mainly concerned with the Moon. Anyways, you can play in parts of a non-destroyed Griffin Station, as well as a few new areas on the Moon. Including the center of it. But I'm far away from a host of other locations. Allow me to continue. You can use the teleporter to go to a few areas that can be maps on their own. One of these, is a non-destroyed Der Riese, in which is expanded greatly so you can explore the facility as it would be in real life. But we're far from the end. One of the main parts of this map is Paris, and you can enter the catacombs, to discover Aghartha. This map encompasses many time periods, and is sure to pretty much include 2 huge, expanded and renovated old maps, as well as 2 more huge new maps in one. And yes, Paris itself is the size of a normal BO2 map. Loading Screens: There are 3 variants of the loading screens available. 1. If you did Richtofen's side of the EE's on each map, you watch a short cutscene of him addressing Group 935 on Der Riese, showing him as the leader. 2. If you did Maxis's side, you see a picture that shows Richtofen talking to Group 935 on Griffin Station. You also hear this recording of Richtofen: (Static) "I would like to introduce you all to Grif(static) Station. Now, I know we have all worked for Dr. Maxis for quite some time, howev-" A gunshot is now heard, and then screams. You now hear Maxis: (Demonic Laugh) "Now, I can harness the TRUE power, as well as put these dirtbags to work! Teach them to mess with MY daughter!" (Portal/Magical noises are heard) Samantha is heard saying this quietly. "Daddy? It's dark in here..." Maxis shows that he can hear her, but not see her. "Wha, what?" 3. If no side has been completed, you get one playing some music, and showing the 3 maps colliding. Now, I shall move on to the weapons available on this map. Some are only available from the box in a certain location, and you can only have 4 major WW's out at a time (disincluding the Ray Gun/MK2) 1. M14 2. Olympia 3. Five-Seven 4. Dual-Wield Five-sevens 5. RPK (Der Riese Box Only) 6. HK21 (Der Riese Box Only) 7. SPAS-12 8. AN-94 (Wall Weapon on Moon) 9. RPG 10. War Machine 11. Musket: Acquired by doing mini-EE in Nikolai's chambers on Der Reise 12. SVU-AS (Wall Weapon on Paris) 13. Dragonuv 14. Thompson (Wall weapon on Der Riese) 15. Bowie Knife (Wall weapon in Paris's catacombs) 16. Vril Staff: Infused with the Golden Rod, this melee wonder weapon is plasma-orientated, is purple, and ultimately will play a role in the EE. Even though it's melee, it takes the gun slot, and can take out whole hoards. It is available from the box by one player, anywhere. 17. Ray Gun 18. Ray Gun Mark 2 19. WunderWaffe (Available from the Box on Der Riese) 20. Paralyzer (Available in box in Paris or Aghartha) 21. Sm0k3r: Marlton's upgraded version of the Sliquifier, it was attached to a time bomb, and somehow sent back in time. It emits flames instead of goo. Can be found in Aghartha, and built for greatness! 22. SMR 23. HAMR 24. Chicom 25. Galvaknuckles (On wall in Aghartha) 26. VR-11 27. Time Bombs 28. Monkey Bombs 29. Gersch Devices 30. LSAT (In Box in Paris/Aghartha) 31. Crossbow 32. DSR-50 33. Peacekeeper (On wall in Paris) 34. KAP-40 35. Wave Gun (In Box on Moon) 36. QED's (In Box on Moon) Now, for the buildables: 1. Zombie Shield: Can be upgraded after round 25 (for 5000 points each time) to have an electric field around it. Built in Paris's catacombs 2. PES: Not a buildable, but still an important item. Found on Moon. 3. Hacker: Not a buildable, but you can hack the teleporters to go other places. 4. Turrets: Built in Der Riese, they are great protection. 5. Head Chopper: Built above-ground in Paris 6. Repulsive Radio: emits a signal that causes zombies heads to pop off. Built on the Moon. 7. Turbine: Opens doors, and powers the Repulsive Radio. Built on Der Riese. 8. Sm0k3r: Built in Aghartha, it contains the ability to burn zombies. Now, for the Perks: 1. Quick Revive: Located in the Spawn Room of Moon. 2. Juggernog: Located in the catacombs of Paris. 3. Speed Cola: Located in Richtofen's Office on Der Riese 4. Double Tap 2: Under the Eiffle Tower in Paris 5. PhD Flopper: Underground on Der Riese 6. Electric Cherry: Locked in a cell in the catacombs of Paris 7. Mule Kick: in a cave in Aghartha 8. Vulture-Aid Elixer: In a house in Aghartha 9. Stamin-Up: In a hidden room on the Moon 10. Jumping Jack Juice: Jump Hight is increased by 25 %. Cost: 1500. Available in a phone booth in Paris. Also, we are introducing Pro Perks: Once you reach round 30, pro versions of each perk can be purchased. You can obtain one for each perk you have on you. When downed, you lose both the perk and it's pro upgrade. Also, you have to go prone under each perk to buy the pro version. The icon of each pro perk will have a gold ring around it. 1. Quick Revive: 3000 points Co-Op, 2500 Solo. Co-Op: When downed, you have 15 more seconds before you die out. Solo: After getting revived, another monkey is thrown so you can re-buy a perk or 2 in safety. 2. Juggernog: 5000 points. Unlocked on Round 40 instead of 30, it adds 1 more hit before you down. 3. Speed Cola: 7500. Buy perks faster, Spin the Mystery Box faster, receive PAP weapons faster, and build and use equipment/buildables faster. 4. Double Tap: 3500. Shoot faster (BO1's Effect), and knife faster. 5. PhD Flopper: 2500. Grenades (other than Monkey Bombs) explode faster, and are more lethal. 6. Electric Cherry: 4000. When downed, reviving, or building a buildable, a protective ring is placed around you so zombies can't kill you. However, you cannot enter the ring if your screen is red. 7. Mule Kick: 3500. You can hold 2 buildables, and another tactical grenade. 8. Vulture Aid: 2500. You can see a farther distance, and you get a "Warning" if a zombie is about to hit you from behind. 9. Stamin-Up: 3500. Speed increased by 5%. 10. Jumping Jack Juice: 1500. Jumping Speed is increased. Here's a little guide on the new weapons: 1. Musket: Covered in blood, Nikolai used it to kill his last wife. It's a powerful weapon, but it's nothing too amazing. When Pack-A-Punched, it shoots through about 3-4 zombies at a time. It's new name would be "Slamation". 2. Vril Staff: It can increase in size, and "slam" entire hoards through the air. Relics can be found, and used until they run dry. When Pack-A-Punched, 2 relics can be combined, and it's recharge rate is reduced to only 5 seconds instead of 10. It's new name would be "Vriltrolic Rod of Death". 3. Sm0k3r: Found frozen in Aghartha, in can be obtained by one player. It melts zombies or burns them to ash, and can be used to create fire-walls. Also, it runs on liquid fuel, and when out, you'll have to wait for a max ammo. When Pack-A-Punched, it becomes the "H3LLF1R3", and shoots lava instead of fire. 4. Peacekeeper: On a wall in Paris, it works extradorinarily great on Zombies. When upgraded, it becomes the "Peace D3str0y3r". Here are the PowerUps: 1. Max Ammo 2. Double Points 3. Carpenter 4. Nuke 5. QED Variants 6. Fire Sale 7. Bonfire Sale 8. Death Machine 9. Insta-Kill 10. FreezeTag: All zombies on the map are now frozen. Have fun spraying! 11. Cloak of Invisibility: Acquireable by 1 player at a time, it gives a 10 second cloak in which zombies cannot see the player, as well as immune to all pain. The Relics: 1. Fire: Burns zombies to a crisp with one move of the staff. 2. Tornado: Flings zombies away 3. Water: Makes Zombies slip and drown 4. Ice: Freezes zombies 5. Lightning: Shocks zombies to death 6. Acid: Poisons zombies 7. 115 Rock: Adds incredibly powerful strength to the Staff. Now, for each Easter Egg. You had to have pressed the button for each. 1. Richtofen's Side: Including dialogue that has arguments between the O4 and Richtofen, this path involves somehow convincing the O4 to go back in time and eliminate Maxis, thus killing Samantha in the process. It ends with Richtofen gaining access to his old body, and seperating from the spirit that has possessed him. You also help release Gersch from Aghartha, into Paris. It is a lengthy, and quite revealing EE. 2. Maxis's EE: While it may be easier to gain support of the O4, he goes back in time and eliminates Richtofen at Griffin Station. However, Samantha is trapped in the other dimension, so he must overload the rift, thus increasing the size of Aghartha, to get her back. If you are on here, you don't Play as Samantha mixed with Richtofen, but instead Samuel in Richtofen's body. In the end, Gersch is killed, Paris destroyed, and Maxis lives in a world of destruction with his daughter Samantha. Common Ending: Gersch couldn't let them get away with it, even though Richtofen sorta supported him. So, he banishes both into Aghartha, mends the rift, and starts his role as the Zombie leader. Achievements: 1. Shot Heard 'Round The World- In Time and Time again, acquire the Musket, and pack-a-punch it. -15 G 2. Don't get too drunk!- In Time and Time again, have all perks and their upgrades.- 45 G 3. The Power To Rule- In Time and Time Again, acquire all relics- 35 G 4. 17. I'll add a video later, but it's round 5 on Solo, and I just knived a zombie twice after making a crawler beside her (she was obviously harmed by the grenade, but you couldn't tell by looking at her) and she died and I got a green flash.
  18. Yeah, I had the concept of the Who's Who perk, and Nuketown Zombies back last year on BlackOps2Forum.com, which is now another forum lol. But I'm still mad they didn't make NTZ like I wanted it. I wanted to have 2 players start in each backyard lol
  19. I'm back to writing theories. And it's been a long time. Like before I registered here, long time. Anyways, here is what it is: Back before the zombies, Richtofen was a great guy. Sure, he was a little strange, but he had great plans for the future. Just take a look at this conversation: You see? Richtofen had plans for the future of science, not a bunch of powerful weapons. He makes a HUGE BREAKTHROUGH, and Maxis neglects him by just treating it as if nothing happened. This could be a reason Richtofen was easily fooled into killing Maxis... You see, Richtofen had a Vril, or maybe even the entity from MOTD, enter his soul when he touched that MPD. He was manipulated, and no longer in control. This "entity" took the better of Richtofen. He became corrupt, violent, and ultimately, evil. He began a plan to KILL his boss. Whatever got in him, wanted power. And everyone acted like he was the bad guy when he got that power. However, Richtofen met his first friends while doing so. However, they felt utterly betrayed when he "the entity" got what it wanted. And Richtofen goes on to say he misses the crew in TranZit. What I'm getting at, is that Richtofen wants to fix the world, making it peaceful. But his "other half" won't let him. He is fixing the Earth in a way that makes the entity "believe" that they will have control over everyone, when in reality Edward is doing this as, I guess you could say a "Last Wish". Richtofen wanted to improve the human condition, and bring peace, which he will be doing. However, as long as the Original Characters are fooled into following Maxis, Richtofen doesn't stand a chance in saving the planet. He will try to re-unite with them, only to be pushed away. I believe it will be up to the TranZit characters to convince the Original 3 to work with Richtofen. Now, what I believe will happen. Richtofen will save the world, but at the expense of his life. He will be seperated from the other entity, only to have no body to go to. Unless, he goes to Samuel  This will be what has to happen. A sacrifice. Richtofen may have mended the rift, but if Samantha's down there, I'd say his body will be long gone... Now, onto Maxis. Maxis shot those missiles on Moon, not to lessen Richtofen's power, but to weaken the Earth and cause the rift. There are mining operations at Buried, because he is trying to dig to Aghartha. The towers are helping him do just that... A LOT MORE WILL BE ADDED LATER, I'm just tired right now...
  20. Haha, I suck at this, so it took me FOREVER! I will be putting out an EE guide soon though. It's really just a pattern you have to learn...
  21. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully we learn more about this "zombie-handler" in the future.
  22. Perma-Jug is still available... I got perma QR once, but I didn't have as many revives as you normally need... Also, I once got like a bad version of the Toy Box perma-perk. It looked the same, except the only weapons I got out of the box, were like Snipers and the other weak stuff Oh, and I'm not sure if it's a graphical glitch, but I once had a Double Toy Box Perma Perk. It had the bear on top of it, and a bigger one on it, and when I hit the box, that big one stayed there. I would get footage, but that game isn't in my recent games anymore. Oh, and I could be wrong, but I think I've had Toy Box after round 10. Maybe you lose it after 10 rounds?
  23. Don't get too excited, but I might have a breakthrough in this. I really support the Russman theory more now, but anyways, here is the quote: Dr. Schuster: “Yes, Doctor.” (Gas hissing and bangs are heard once again) Computerized voice: “Target located.” Dr. Groph: “Bring him here, immediately.” (Gas hissing and bangs are heard followed by the sound of a teleporter. The thumping of someone landing is heard afterwards) Dr. Schuster: "Greetings, Dr. Maxis." Ludvig Maxis: “Schuster! I should’ve known. Where is that rat Edward? Where are we? And how did you get me out of that wretched tunnel-” Perhaps he was in a tunnel in Shangri-La? I could be wrong, but it's a tad bit of something lol
