    Elevator trick

Sure. This was just an fyi. I am glad you posted that because I am sure some didn't know. In practice, this has actually been good to use (elevator trick). Note that the elevator holds you as it lowers you, until it stops moving, then drops you, just push forward. I have not failed at this yet. Note 2: you could probably drop and push forward, like falling to the pdw room...no elevator required.
  2. I believe the appropriate response is: you just jinxed yourself. Enjoy your turn on the deathslide... 8-)
  3. 2 hits to die, 4 with jugg. It can be confusing because you could take 1, heal a little, take 3 hits and live, but 4 consecutive hits is death.
  4. Claymores (bouncing betties) solo or not, are a good friend. Note that in many maps, you want these for boss rounds (free perks in Die Rise if desired). The trick is that at the start of each round or after max ammo, if you cannot place them where needed or you wish to place them just before or during boss rounds, drop them facing out of the map somewhere (red lines away from in map). Then grab and place as needed. Ascension: drop by corners near perks to either kill or slow the monkeys. Die Rise: in open, walk jumpers into them or sit directly behind your Trample Steam, drop claymore behind you, facing away from T.S. (if going for free perk). Kino: the jugger alcove: back slowly into this area while fighting them. Rarely one dog will load in there. "Five": jugger alcove for the Thief, takes him out (highest round I tried was 32, worked instantly). Tranzit: not a lot of normal use, but I pool zombies outside farm and I drop claymores along the outskirts of the area as a reference, they are easy to see and help keep you out of the fog while dodging and weaving. How's that for ingenuity? i am fairly blind, so it helps me... And of course instakill claymore on the pool of zombies that you have encircled.
  5. Keep in mind that a flinger can watch the back window for you in some spots like the dragon roof. You can move parts onto the elevators by hitting x while slowly walking with them. Get on elevator, turn round grab part. This worked in Tranzit for getting shed items out without needing to come back with a turbine. Don't get 2 parts too close to a door that you want to open, or too near a workbench. Just walk them away a little if you did get too close. You can 'shortcut' elevators, by getting partway into the shaft as one comes down on you. It will shove you below the floor, but still hold you until it stops moving, then it drops you, just push forward to get into next level down. Only use where there is a level below you... You can drop from the hallway outside of start to the pdw room in 2+ games. Carefully drop off of the end of the hallway while facing the start room, as you fall, push forward. This can get several players in the pdw room early. It has one back window, a gun (pdw duh), and all the zombies come down the hall. The escalator is good for Sliq camping, not quite as broken as the gk room, but close.
  6. I use 13, i'll try it. Going down the 'safe' right side randomly killed me finally, but it was a good run... The box slide has since killed me twice.
  7. Der Riese means the giant. Der Reise means the travel or trip, you misspelled. Die rise can mean the rise in Deutch (German), but since it is in china, I figure it as Die Rise in English, a play on hi-rise (high rise), which is a term for skyscraper.
  8. I agree. I'm just gonna take this opportunity and say that you are quite a good member of this site. You participate actively and you are friendly. Just between you and me: If you keep this up I will unquestionably nominate you for the UOTM poll later this month. But pshhhh...don't tell anyone. Wow, thanks. I just eat zombie info like this up and love to share it. I found how easy it is to just sit behind your flinger in many places, turn and face a claymore away from you, behind you and you are good. At launch, the jjerks killed so many of my games, now I worry about what free perks I'll get... Ha. I try to buy the ones that I want first.
  9. Or trample steams or claymores and (presumably) grenades.

    Elevator trick

Exactly this, it's not 'omg, I broke Die Rise', just an fyi. It WILL save someone's game one day and they'll remember this post... 8-)
  11. No jerkiness detected, i can't say why I thought it wouldn't count... You don't get 'permaperks' (tempaperks?), best round won't count even if kept normal. I just figured it was like offline, ergo no xbl stats would save... Hmm. I guess I can say why and am just a hypocrit. :|
  12. Thank you. Now how do I right click on an ipad?
  13. I love you, man. Has anyone tried to go there without the sliq and just gangster them zombies? With just the one spawn point, it could be amusing.
  14. Yes, that is what I mean. The story wasn't 'epic across map, up in the air' revive, but point it at them even though they are a mile away and can't be seen, the reticule turns blue when aimed properly, fire, profit. Someone backed it up, so either we are uninformed or troll food. Are these troll teethmarks on my arm? I used the pack a punched ballistic knife for a while in a game and I was missing people a lot, never did they get up, you still have to directly hit them with the blade. The original post was in Tranzit on codz here: 'crosshair turns to blue on players?' I don't know how to link...

  16. Ouch. Mine has always had random bad days, but I think it is starting to fry from too many years of marathon gaming. The drawer likes to not open if I play dvds, like the drive mech gets in the way.
  17. What was implied is that you did not need to actually shoot them, just look in their direction from obviously way too far away, and it would revive them if the reticule turned blue (you had to fire it, but didn't need to be anywhere near them). So either nobody reading this is sure of that or I was trolled. I haven't used them often and haven't had them recently.
  18. 2 things: 1. A slight turn, turn back is the move that often keeps zombies from hitting you as you pass. 2. Your guy is like a coin, if he turns sideways, he is skinny (despite obviously being wider with gun out) turn sideways to slip through spots that you otherwise wouldn't.

    Navcard crap...

Either you put it in, in which case it will never take it again, or it is glitched. Do this (in case you are making mistakes): You get the Tranzit one from the bus depot in Tranzit mode, go to Die Rise, build navcard reader and put it in. Then grab the dr navcard from the pdw room for the next map. If this didn't help, sorry. I tried.
  20. Supposedly (read here, not tried yet by me) the upgraded ballistic knife in Tranzit could revive friends across the map (far away, not nearby) by aiming it in their direction, reticule turns blue, fire...revived. First, is it true? And the reason it is here: does it work like this in Die Rise? Thank you. Edit: fixed typo. Was I trolled?
  21. That last line brings me great joy in Die Rise: options. Edit: I take elevator, open power and stairs, I build Sliq and Flinger by round 2, camp pdw room escalator. Too easy though... But it is fun. If I want to rock a gun, the an-94 is so nice. All of my best games, I never hit the box...
  22. First, thanks BinSys for the knowledge. At 5and5: on the last q; if the zombie is at full flame, they explode, as soon as it dies down a notch, they will be crawlerable or stabable without exploding.
  23. With all of the Trample Steam talk, people may not have noticed that Claymores work too. I posted this in some thread, but figured it could use its own. Example: play on the dragon roof. Buy Claymores (duh). Drop claymores under the dragon ramp facing out so they don't get triggered. When the jumping jerks arrive, set one down in the open, 180, drop another. Run around them if necessary. When they explode, grab 2 more. Repeat as necessary. Note that having some face in in that corner is good for 2 reasons: 1. For jerks that attack as you pick more up and during regular rounds, if you are hurt, fall back onto claymores until safe enough. Also, the ramp is decent for this: the jerks can't jump over or around you and so are forced into the claymores.
  24. I think that I understand... You aren't getting hit by it? I find that turrets kill me too often and also shoot my last zombie. Not an issue with several players as one could zombiesit, but solo it tends to be not worth it. I still want to try the fog ledge above town...
  25. Amen, brother. I want Treyarch to focus on the slide glitches, their random hit detection, not nerfing...
