  1. They could put a recap video in the zombies menu that people could watch outside of actual gameplay. Kinda like what they did in Dead Space 2 and Gears of War 3, so new players can get caught up.
  2. I think it's a sweet idea, it would totally fit into zombies. We should brainstorm some ideas for weapons and map features. I like the radiation suit idea that was mentioned.

  4. The map ideas break the one rule the developers have, don't mess with core gameplay. The alteration of the round system and increase in players effects that strongly. The save feature also wouldn't work, half the skill of reaching high rounds is having the time and patience, if we could save games i'd be way past 100 rounds. However I think the underwater base idea is pretty cool you should get into more detail with that because it sounds interesting and gives that isolated feel that Moon does. The only problem I can see with that is that people would call it a BioShock clone.

  7. I wanna talk about this. I honestly really like this idea, how would it work is my question? I was thinking you would need to gather specific parts or use the strongman that was mentioned earlier, but if you were gonna take that route then they would have to remove the dropped max ammo after defeating the strongman. That's just my idea, i'd like to hear more though.
  8. Sounds awfully similar to some ideas I had for mine. I'm interested to hear more though. I think the strength machine sounds cool, you should expand on that.
  9. The weapon is a Nazi prototype. I've edited the idea and removed the time stop feature.
  10. I can see how the time stop feature could be deemed "unreasonable" however the other two features are absolutely reasonable and are realistic. The primary attack is a sonic sound pulse that when outputs enough energy, can easily kill a zombie. The secondary attack is basically the Thundergun attack that simply pushes zombie away rather than killing them. Like I said originally the idea is not perfect and needs improvment. I appreciate the critisism because that's why I post here, so I can get other people's opinions.
  11. My idea for a wonder weapon is an electronic arm that you wear. It's called the DubForce v6.2 (working name). This arm has three features. Primarily it fires a sonic wave out of a energy ring on the plam that blows the zombies' heads off similar to the Screamer from Shangri-La, this primary fire can be held and the longer it's held the more ammo it drains. The blast spread would be very wide and would have the range of a shotgun. Secondary fire is a gravity blast similar to the Thundergun but this one doesn't kill the zombies, it just throws them back in order to get space or clear the area briefly. The shot width would be small but the range would be extremely long. The ammo in the weapon gets regenerated when the player recieves kills from any weapon other than the DubForce v6.2. Instead of a shot counter like most weapons it would feature an ammo bar like the flamethrower from W@W. It would require 50 kills to fill the gun from empty to full. Full ammo is equal to 30 seconds worth of held primary wave attack. A secondary attack requires 1/4 of full ammo, so it can be used anytime as long as the player has the ammo filled above 1/4. It would only be obtainable through the box The PaP'd version would be called the Facemelter v1.0. The PaP'd version would feature a larger amount of ammo, zombies hit with the primary sonic attack will have their faces melted off before dying. It's relation to the story is that it was used by 935 scientists to keep zombies under control and protect themselves in the event of a breakout. The way that you get ammo is similar to the technology that the M.P.D. uses in Moon. When a player gets a kill the zombies soul will fly out of the corpse and into the DFv6.2 while making an erie screaming sound. The names also have signifigance in it's relation. the numbers in v6.2 mean that the weapon has gon through several stages in order to get where it's at and that it was frequently used and updated. The v1.0 in the FM means that you're using the first PaP'd version and that 935 never advanced the weapon that far and you finalized/updated the weapon whereas the couldn't. It actual look would be a prototype sort of look. The weapon wouldn't completely cover the arm and would spark randomly. On the palm there would be a glowing ring similar to the thing Iron Man has on the palm on his suit. On the top of the hand there would be wires coming from the tips of the fingers down to a chip on the center of the top of the hand. On the actual forearm there would be metal plates coming from the bottom of the wrist to the elbow, one on the top of the forearm, one under and one on each side with wires connecting them all. In terms of sound the primary fire would make a sound similar to a dubstep wobble. Here's an example of a dubstep wobble: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJflY9VkqYQ. Skip to 1:53 to hear the wobble. The secondary fire would make the Thundergun sound. Pretty bland sound but it works and makes sense. Animations for the weapon would be like this: When the weapon is out and not being used the player's hand will be on screen with the palm facing the player. The primary and secondary fire would have the player simply reach their hand out with the plam facing the target and push their hand forward. I spent a lot of time on this idea and i'm aware there's lots of room for improvement. Any ideas on improvements would be appricated. I'll also be updating this as I and others think of new features/improvements. Thanks! :D
  12. Not bad altough I think it should be an armable weapon, you set it up and activate it just like C4. The idea however with the rockets is good but it should only happen on the last map and should be part of the easter egg.
  13. Im basing the map off the idea that either there's new characters and what they do happens simutaneously with the original four or the original four went back in time. However if the storyline takes the gang back to earth after it's destruction then it would make sense to have it destroyed. The barrier idea isn't bad and I really do like the idea of Chernobyl, lots of other people have suggested it aswell. Btw here, [brains]
  14. I was thinking East coast US but that location really wouldn't make a whole lot a sense in the storyline. I thought France would be cool too.

Well i dont think it would be strong enough for its own round so maybe like every 5-6 rounds it would come during a normal round and drop and perk or max ammo. well instead of it only coming every 5-6 rounds like dog rounds it could be a little tougher to kill and do a little less damage and it could be in every round like the cosmonaught or George in CotD since George drops a perk and death machine/wunderwaffe. Like the whole idea! Always thought a carnival/circus would be a great map! I think the layout should possibly be kind of like shi no numa with maybe a hugs circus tent in the middle with the branches extending out to other parts of the map and maybe connect them with the different carnival rides. Maybe instead of a "strong man zombie" if you're in the circus tent have a ring master just like in a real circus. I don't really have any ideas of what he would do to you. Maybe he would grab a hold of the player and teleport them into a cage or something and they are stuck in there till the trapped player could maybe do some form of task in the cage or till the other players kill the ring master take a key from him or find the key somewhere and go unlock the cage to free the trapped players I'm digging the ringmaster idea. The cage idea is pretty interesting. The idea of temporarily removing a player could completely shift the focus of the game from survival to rescue. I love it.

  17. This was included with my map idea but i'll post it here too with more detail. My idea is a laser rifle that shoots one straight beam that can penetrate several zombies at once. What's really unique about it is that the player generate the ammo for it by pulling a lever on the gun. One lever pull = one laser shot. Having this feature on the gun makes it so players don't have to worry about ammo, however reloading a shot takes about 2 seconds and the gun can't be reloaded until every shot has been fired and can't be fired until every shot is loaded. This makes it so when the player is against the horde and they run out, getting more ammo in the gun will be difficult on a moments notice. It can hold up to 30 shots max in the clip. If the trigger is held for three seconds the gun will charge and once it's charged and the player releases the trigger all the shots will release at once and have a wide spread of shots that would shread through zombies. I currently have no name for it and the idea does have flaws that i'm trying to kink out. Any thoughts?
  18. I've been saying that for so long but people tend to shut that idea down. It honestly seems like the only sensible option considering where Moon left us. Most zombies players refuse to believe that Moon is where it ends for the original four, I however do. It's time for something new. There literally is no possible way to continue their story, the world is destroyed. There is no where for them to go from Moon. Now i'm not saying quit the storyline at all because the storyline is perfect the way it is, I just think in the next game (i've said this so many times before) it should feature new characters who's actions happen simutaniously with the original gangs. Another thing to take into consideration, most zombies players don't have as much knowledge of the storyline as us here on the forums. The casual zombies player outnumbers the hardcore players and trying to continue forward after Moon would mean getting more complex and deeper thus confusing nearly every casual player and some hardcore players aswell. So in order to keep the storyline realistic (and I mean realistic to the zombies universe) and simple enough for players to understand, a new point of view must be introduced.
  19. It's a good idea and i've seen it suggested before the only problem is getting Paramount to allow Treyarch to use Zombieland as a map. I love that movie and would absolutely love to see it in Zombies. That also reminds me of how everyone thinks Michael Rooker is Woody Harrelson. Lol.
  20. Maybe ship two discs? Idk much about that technical stuff, but couldn't they make a MP disc and a Zombies/Campaign disc in order to hold all the memory?
  21. I read the PDF file and I am genuinely impressed. You're ideas are not only great but they are extremely reasonable, useful and sound fun to use. I honestly hope Treyarch sees this. You should seriously consider finding a way for them to see this.
  22. That's actually a pretty good idea. Chernobyl's creepy and dead atmosphere would be perfect for zombies.
  23. Genius. This is a great idea. If they did this it could open up a whole new world of Zombies. All the zombies fans could get exactly what they want without all the MP stuff and vice versa. Treyarch could offer a MP Elite and a Zombies Elite. You could either subscribe to one or both. Price wise Zombies Elite should be cheaper and the maps should come like every other month so Treyarch has time to make a great quality maps. I hope they see this thread so they don't ruin zombies for everyone.
