  1. Lately it has been a common theme that 2000+ before the first siren. Chopper in his most recent video achieved it as well. You get 2000+ and a few quick knive kills, while running around you encounter a few more dogs. I could recall at least three or four 3000+ points before I finish rounding them up. At least another 10-15 of 2500+ starts. I recall back in the day a 2000+ start would be considered great, that's why it has a different feel to it.
  2. Hi, I'm Jay, if you don't know who I am. Been paying close attention to that stupid plane that disappeared. The more info we gather, the more we seem to be confused and befuddled by the facts. Been playing much NML lately, and noticed the sudden quick spawns, at least initially. It used to be you would be lucky to get 2000 before the first siren, nowadays I consistently get 20-25 hundred before they start running. A few times after quick knives I began looping with 3000+ points! Been doing the pad strategy and honestly can't comprehend how easy it is for me now. Back in the day my skills weren't efficient enough to execute it. In the last few weeks I often PAP without the need of second grenade. The only downside is that the spawns seem to take forever. Often it takes two full sirens for one full hoard to gather, a few times three sirens. Still trying to feel for good times to kills without wasting times. Amazing how different NML feels. I can't wait to top my personal high of 171. I can easily smell 250+ in the near future. This challenge is intense and addictive, even more fun when you taste some long waited success. I often can't sleep right after NML, need some time to wind down from a game I use to wind down the day. Funny. Enjoy your Sunday, eat some chicken.
  3. Beautiful sunny 50s today in Western PA. Went shopping today with the misses and bought a couple Spyder products. A mid weight full zipper and a sweater hoody for less than $160, I consider myself a shopping genius. Had a game a few nights ago, with three randoms on my favorite map Five. The four of us kinda played separately and each had a different type of game. When the game ended on 26, I couldn't decide who was the best player and who was the worst. Player A was your classic definition of juggernaut. He ran away with kills early and never looked back. He ran the war room and rarely needed help. By round 26 he had 6 downs, but as the white player he attracted the most attention and on a few occasions was the victim of guys messing up his trains. Player B had the highest round going in, and one of two with their mikes on. He basically called the shots and organized the team, in a very efficient and democratic way. He had three downs, all from heroic revives in traffic. Player C was me. I never really helped out nor was I in the way. I barely cracked 200 kills by round 26, camping in the PAP most of the time. My only down ended the game, flushed out of the PAP into the teleporter, was sent upstairs. My original plan was to call the elevator and blast my way safe until the elevator came. Player B was calling "Blast away!" and the rebel in me didn't comply. I did a half loop past Speed but didn't quite make it. Player D had the other mike. He was a decent team player who contributed selflessly. Had two early downs but never looked back. Until player B went down in the basement and he was trying his best to revive. Had the second highest amount of kills and number of selfless plays that kept everyone going. In your eye, who was most valuable to this team? Who had the best game? Who would you want on your team? Thanks for reading, enjoy your weekend.
  4. My answer kinda suck, perhaps a bit corny. None of achievements are worth mentioning, as none of them are cool in other people's eyes. One game however, made me the coolest dad in my son's eyes. He loves Choppernator's NML videos, and considers him his idol. When he found out I was in a game with Chopper, he thought I was awesome. I told him Chopper and Eye begged me to play with them.
  5. Anyone up for some BO1 maps on PS3 tonight? Shall be on by 11:00 PM tonight.

  6. Normally when I log on, I scan through the topics for guys I know who always leave good posts. After spending some time on these forums you develop a good idea who is readable, who to avoid, and who are really good. We all have tendencies, with enough sample size you could form characteristics on these individuals you share the forums with. Believe it or not, you have some gaming tendencies too. In a team environment, certain guys are built for certain roles and others capable of anything, depending on the situation. Regardless of roles and situations, you work together to get the job done. No matter how good you are individually, playing as a team gets you further and faster. I have been in many games where everyone wants a certain way, or no one takes charge of the situations. Both could work or be disastrous. Some guys run away with points and kills but from only because of the others. Sometimes the little guy camping inside the PAP is the reason why everyone is still alive. Playing this game long enough, you realize that often the guy who alertly flips the switches while everyone cashing in on the fire sale is the unsung hero. The guy who purposely give up the easiest camping spots for others never gets credit. The guy who throws the monkey at the right moment, the guy's support fire barely saves you from a down, or the guy who never gets in your way. Those guys never get any love, yet crucial to your success. Who type or role do you prefer? Or are you capable of any pending your team? I enjoy being that guy that no-one pays attention too, yet makes enough big plays quietly and efficiently. If necessary, I could call on my inner Way and take all the kills. Either way, I watch what my team does and do what they need on support. What is your role? What role do you prefer to be at your best? Thanks for reading, enjoy your Thursday.
  7. My official log in time is 9 hours. How could that be? I recall reading Boom 10 hours and Naitrax 9 hours. I'm not even close to their leagues!

    1. Undead

      Undead

      11 hours. Wat.

    2. Boom115

      Boom115

That was days not hours lol

  8. I have a story I would like to share. My wife would often accompany me to investor/customer related events. She is a very attractive woman who is often the subject of unwanted attention and stare. She claims she enjoys being attractive, but only to those whom she wants to attract. In reality she has no control over who she attracts and who she doesn't. Brains were brought back to promote good behavior, but it's a double edged sword that also can create some issues, as we have already seen unfold with more to come. I agree for the most part with Chopper and HW's views, but I also realize the perfect system is merely a mirage. People will abuse it, majority will rule. But just because it is not working the way we had planned, doesn't mean we can't have fun with it. During my freshman time as a member, I was naive with the brains system and the UOTM contest. I fought hard with Undead to see appropriate actions done to modify it. But I found the truth in it, that the right system would have Eye or Super winning it over and over back then, Boom and Slade piling trophies on their shelves today. The majority of people want to limit their candidacies, they want a "next in line" approach to the system. I have been runner up many times, and came close on a few occasions. But to be honest I cannot care any less about this system because it has already been watered down. I apologize to the last few winners if they feel offended. But again, just because it has flaws, doesn't mean we can't have fun with it. In fact, this flawed system is more entertaining and interesting than "Boomy wins his tenth UOTM in 11 months..." I would say to eliminate the brains system ASAP, mostly because the negatives have seemingly outgained the positives. The regulars know who are readable and who to avoid, we do not need a number to compare popularity. And partly because I'm jealous of Boom's godly brain tally. I suspect he is a hacker who gave himself those brains. Happy Sunday.
  9. 90% of my brains were generated from clever/stupid/childish/humorous Jay posts. I don't apologize for it, because I can't monitor it. But I do apologize for encouraging stupid Shit. I understand I set a terrible example for the younger guys to have fun, and Jayism has begun to take over. That's why I was never excited about it in the first place. I know most people do not take it seriously anymore, because the number has been diluted. The only way to stop the stupid comments from braining is to stop them from being generated. I pledge to only give you the mature Jay effectively immediately.
  10. I'm taking a page out of MMX's arsenal of disagreements: I don't think putting restrictions on replies is a good idea, or even suggest that it should be frown upon. What essentially will happen is that less people will reply to topics if they cannot reply to the extent that is expected. "I agree with you" is a lazy way of replying and does promote a negative type of replying to the public. However, not everyone can be as fluent and effective as replyers as Boom and Slade. They basically redefine the term "replying to a topic". They are so good at replying they make your thread look amazing. But very few have their abilities. If a person puts out a thread he or she spent numerous hours in and expects replies, but does it in a way not asking questions or stirring debates, this person will be disappointed with the lack of "I love it" or "I agree". For me, if I have to brainstorm my replies, I may not reply much at all. Let's hope I'm at the minority at this.
  11. My good friend Cara just got engaged. She's very attractive, smart and funny, has a good accounting career that pays exceptional, and she's got a charismatic personality that everyone loves. However, she was struggling to find quality dates for a while. Finding a match is not hard, finding matches that fit your needs is the million dollar trivia. My friend Cara's demands were fair for her qualifications, but unrealistic due to the lack of quality candidates to suffice the needs. I have been playing with randoms a lot lately, and very disappointed with the lack of quality guys out there. I understand the expectations should be low when handling randoms, but some basic prerequisites should apply. Rage quitting- Within the first few rounds if you don't see what you like out of others, go ahead and quit, no biggie. On round 26 when you have over 50000 points but quit as soon as you go down should merit you immediate castration. Stick to the strategy- If I'm running the war room, and two are in the PAP, for the love of god please stay in there. A fire sale is not a valid reason to leave. Having three people simultaneously running the middle war room with weak weapons is disastrous. I once had a guy who refuses to camp the PAP by himself, but will not run the war room either. Time to send Mike Tyson to his house. Party Crashers- When four people running their own trains, the decent thing to do is to not interfere. I absolutely go insane when running the Thompson room on Der Riese when party crasher show up uninvited. I understand you have needs sometimes, but please try and limit the number of times you put my well-being in jeopardy. Mr. No Clue- Please, pay attention to your surroundings and use common sense. I hate it when someone opens both doors to jug on Ascension. Or when everyone runs clockwise but one goofball decides to turn the clock. When someone goes down please stop shooting to preserve a full spawn for an easy revive. I do not care if you are new, or young. Avoid the above and we''ll get along fine. Anyone on PSN who wishes to join me please contact me. I'm normally on around 11ish EST looking for a few good men. It's slim pickens out there. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your Sunday.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Do I know you? I have a feeling we have crossed paths.
  13. Welcome to the forum, I'm Jay.
  14. I have thought about doing that. If you leave the door to MP5 closed, do zombies only spawn fro. cafe? Perhaps only a few stragglers?
  15. Simplicity or Complexity? There are two types of maps on BO2, and they differ in how you approach the map. Maps like Town, Farm, Die Rise, Buried, and Nuketown stress simplicity. With or without the bank, not much strategies are involved for setting up. Most of these maps take the first few rounds to complete your long run set up. Maps like Tranzit, MOTD, and Origins are more complex. For the first 10-15 rounds you are trying to maximize points and get to your errands. Easily into the twenties there are many things to do and much running around. The latter maps are more fun for me initially, but I shy away from those once I reach my goals. The constant setting up take too much time away from the gaming fun for me. The former present a little more replayability for me. I often hop on for a quick game of Town not having to worry about wasting the first hour perfecting the ideal set up. Although I enjoy BO1 maps far more, and the complex maps show more resemblance, maps like Town and Die Rise will always be higher on my list than Tranzit or Origins. Maps are Tranzit and Buried are beautifully constructed, but poorly designed. If you have ever camped with the paralyser past round 40 you would vouch not to touch the map again ever. It would be much better had they made it more of a "run your separate trains" type of map. Tranzit is just too big, too time consuming, and too plain. I understand some of the "side quests" are optional, but some play importance in the long run. Trying to to feed dogs on round 15 is not ideal, and better suited for early rounds. Side quests such as the redeemer and gold spork are well designed, giving you extra incentives in the teen rounds after your initial set up. Which maps do you prefer? Do you agree with my assessments? Do you rather I post another stupid humorous nonsense? Thanks for reading, enjoy your Thursday.
  16. Would certainly contribute if I'm more tech savy.
  17. Brutus is not hard to take down, just hard to take down while trying not to harm others.. Still having issues getting the blue skull by jug. Tried both taking the gondola and testing my luck from jug. From the jug side I tried jump, swerve, kneel, snake, hop, bending over, flip, carwheel, prone, doggy, missionary, 69....and still no luck. Get the other four with ease but this is rediculous!!!! Thanks for all the help guys.
  18. Thank you sir, much appreciated. Case closed, all set for deletion. To Mega: I don't suck, I'm rather a lick type.
  19. Yes Hells Warrior, I would like to be a civilian please. Most donors are klutzy, like Shooter and Boomy and MegaAfro. In no way would I associate myself with those clowns.
  20. Thanks for all the tips. Did the proposed round 11 return and got it by 12. But now I have new issues. 1. That blue skull by jug is near impossible, any good tips on obtaining it? 2. Hate that Brutus. Good tips on how to kill it? Two redeemers will do the trick but he often spawns late and I always kill the last zombie trying to settle Brutus. It create problems when I'm trying to hit the box and do things. Thanks.
  21. Personal accolades mean nothing to me. I'm not here in hopes of any awards. I do have one goal on CODZ; to enlighten MMX into an optimist. Well, I might be here forever........
  22. God damn guys. Whats with all the praise these days? I miss the good old days when I get hate mails, those were the days. I don't get reported anymore, I'm well liked by others. I don't like this Shit.
  23. Just hope to blend in without too much notoriety. Donor status shouldn't play any part in my reputation as a person, that is between me and the ownership.
  24. My buddy Sam and I both did the QR room full train and Double Tap full train. Separately, of course.
  25. Good to have you. May I secretly say I really enjoy your strategies and tips?
