  1. A few weeks ago I played in Kino with some randoms, and let me tell you, they knew what they were doing. We got to round 30, 4 people, in like 3 hours without the thundergun. :D
  2. The other day I was looking for some music and came around this song called “Monsters” by Matchbook Romance. As I was listening, some lyrics (mainly the chorus) caught my attention: We are We are the shaken We are the monsters Underneath your bed Yeah, believe what you read This part reminds me of the kind of reaction that the people would have to seeing zombies in the real world for the first time. We are We are mistaken We are the voices Inside your head Yeah, believe what you see This tells me of how no one outside of the crew and Group 935 knows the truth about the creation of the undead and who to truly blame for the damage made by the zombies. But it mostly reminds me of Richtofen. It came as no surprise You bring me back to life (believe me) You’d bleed for me, I’d bleed for you Now this refers to the people’s defiance to believe that this is happening, how this was expected by others who knew about the zombies before the rockets hit and the heroism that will arise in this new apocalyptic world. What songs remind you of zombies? How do you think they refer to the story?

  4. But who knows, maybe the nova gas crawlers would have been made from some other kind of gas or just don't exist at all. Since Nova 6 was introduced in BO maybe the crawlers would have only appeared in Five and Moon and not Kino. And what would the Wii get as their map on BO? Maybe the secret recording easter egg (Wii exclusive) on the stage would never exist, or it would've been added to all the consoles. Plus, the theories about how the Thundergun got to Kino would be nonexistent. PPSH-41 and the DG-2 on Kino would be so overpowered.
  5. What do you think would be different if Kino Der Toten had been released on World At War Map Pack 4? I'm talking about differences in the story-line theories that we made (since we would've known of the time travel aspect of the history earlier and made some crazy stories before Black Ops came out) and gameplay aspects of the map (what would be in the map and what wouldn't). I personally think that there wouldn't have been a game over song, just like Moon, since Ascension would probably not have been made yet. I also think that the automatic turrets would not make an appearance Leave your creative responses below about your thoughts on this and what you personally think would have changed with your theories, if you were in the forum back in W@W times, and what would've changed between the old and new maps.
  6. But you realize that we are going to watch the movie/show whether they target us or everybody else, because we are hardcore zombie fans. And they have to appeal to everybody else to make profit. And it's not like those people are taking credit for discovering the story, they're just watching a flick. Plus, it would be released (most likely) after the story line is revealed completely and the movie/show would fill whatever few plot holes there are left.
  7. Watch out guys, we're dealing with a hipster over here. Or they could pull a LOTR and do a 3 hour movie and release another 3 hour in PT 2 I think the idea of a TV show revolving around new characters with hints to the old crew is a great idea, and if it doesn't work on television then bring it to Youtube. If Treyarch was to make a movie or TV show, what should it be called? Nazi Zombies? 115? We need names people.
  8. I have been thinking about the story a bit and started wondering how Treyarch could translate the storyline to a movie, something many people here in CoDz want. But these individuals overlook what the funnest part about the story is: discovering it. How could Treyarch make a movie that covers the storyline well enough, with enough easter eggs for the zombie fans yet revealing enough so it can be entertaining to regular movie-watchers? In my experience, when you don't know the story to a movie, then it becomes more entertaining as you find out things for the first time as the movie goes, but when you know the backstory it just doesn't feel as good, because you know what is going to happen. So to which group should this movie be made to be more appealing for: the hardcore zombie fans, or the regular people? Think about the budget that they would get and the earnings depending on the target audience.

  10. I'm pretty sure Moon is the most current map (as of now) as there is no evidence of time travel beyond the arrival to COTD.
  11. This is a hard question... Quick Revive is amazing in solo and has a cool jingle. Juggernog is absolutely vital. PhD is the most fun. But Deadshot Daiquiri has the best jingle out of all the perks. That song makes me happy in the pants.
  12. You just made an statement out of your opinion... And just because millions of people play something, it doesn't mean that the game is good. The amount of fun you have in a game is based on your personal enjoyments and likes, it's not something that can be universally decided.
  13. Because they're not going to design "new" weapons that fit the era of the Zombie Storyline. Just take Call Of The Dead for example: it happens in the present day, yet they still use Cold War weapons. Or Shangri La, how come a civilization from thousands of years ago has Cold War weapons within their temples (Richtofen couldn't bring the weapons himself since the last time he was in Shangri La was in WW2 times). So they have to include the game's weapons, to reduce a bit of extra work. Unless the quote about BO2 Zombies being the most ambitious refers to variety, then my hypothesis is mostly correct.
  14. There is no evidence yet that the Zombies Storyline will occur during the future, though they do have to add the MP weapons somehow to Zombies. I think time travel is inminent. Oh Treyarch, why did you put yourself in this situation?
  15. I just post a topic if I think it might be interesting. Plus I didn't have my console (since September) to try to find anything in the game.
  16. My name is Alex, I come from Mexico and I love killing the undead. I've been here for about a year, of course counting all the time that I was just lurking the forums without an account. I have seen the trolls, the flamers and the newbs come in and out of this website. I have seen the brains counters ascend to the top. I have seen the story go from speculations to the obsession of many. This community keeps growing, and I'm proud to say I'm part of it.
  17. This has only happened to me twice: Once playing on Wii, probably because the Wii version is somewhat more likely to have glitches as Treyarch pays a bit less attention on patching glitches on Wii. And another time when I was playing on Xbox, but that was probably just a fluke.
  18. Buy PAP first, so you can later use the points that M&S gives you to buy Jug. If you buy Jug first, by the time that you manage to get the 5000 points to PAP the zombies will be too strong to kill. :geek:
