Mid-round bosses vs between round bosses
TroubledTurkey replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
My favorite part of Mid-Round Bosses was that George added a desirablility to some underrated weapons, I would have liked to see that factor with other mid-round bosses, to shake things up a bit. Have Bosses where WonderWeapons and Wall weapons are not so effective, but usually passed over Box weapons are beast on them. -
Mid-round bosses vs between round bosses
TroubledTurkey replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I like Boss Rounds, but they coulda been harder. Even the Thief is really easy (Claymore Pit FTW). The Dogs on WaW Shi No NUma were actually somewhat a challenge (Running from the Get-Go, Unaffected by Juggernog). If it were me, I would have upped the Dog ammount atleast, Like constantly increasing Dogs per Round, and a larger Dogs per Spawn on Solo (Seriousley, 2 is NOT enough, even for one person) Oh, and personal opinion: That 99 problems thing, worst idea I have ever heared, just because it would completely make that achievement impossible to obtain for a normal player, someone who cant spend insanely long times playing a video game. I like what you put IN the rounds, but not the numbers you put them on. Too unreal. It would have to be really dumbed down, making 99 too easy to reach. -
As far as real life weaponry is concerned, I like the HK21 a lot more than the RPK. Its just a badass gun, heavy though, with heavier recoil. In ZOMBIES I like the RPK better, with Double Tap, because its just awsome lol. The HK has a lot of ammo, and Double Tap remedies its low fire rate. Neither are good replacements for the MG42 and Browning M1919, in my personal opinion. I have always been one for speed in Zombies, so when I feel the need to score mass ammounts of points, I want to do it FAST, so the RPK is the way to go for me. On High Rounds, if I get an RPK from the Box, I spray all of its ammo for points before I even consider upgrading it. I never upgrade a gun on high rounds (40-50) unless I am out of ammo for everything (On low rounds I dont care) I voted HK, because its the gun I actually like better in general, not just zombies.
-
Had this happen. Usually fixed when people around me also remove their space helmets. Cannot be remedied this way if you are in the Dome and someone is in the Teleporter room, as they cannot remove their helmet.
-
Enough of those questions. OFF TOPIC, anyone got info on Mini-Zombie damage? (I'll ask this in a new topic if this is not the time or place for this)
-
Well it might just be in my head. But still, on Round 50 of Ascension, You can build up an entire mob, kill it, build up another, and walk all the way to the trap before it recharges, but in Co-Op Der Riese, you barely have enough time to build up a single mob before it recharges. Its just driving me crazy a little, because I hear all of these statistics, and all this "from the code" stuff that I just cant get to add up In-Game.
-
Yeah, we were all thinking that, about 2 years ago. lol. (just felt compelled to post that. Absolutely no offense intended.)
-
The traps on Black Ops Der Riese Recharge in roughly 35 seconds. I might have been counting fast, plus I had some dogs on my ass, so I was running around while watching the Trap. Even if my counting was off, it was DEEEEFINATELY a shorter recharge than Ascension's traps.

Get Creative! New Zombie Slaying Tools
TroubledTurkey replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Where can I use this? -Solo or Co-Op, Moon Specific. (Co-Op is generally "Easier" for this, but Solo is not exactly "Hard") Perks -Double Tap -Juggernog -Mule KIck -Stamin Up Weapons -MNesia -Tokyo and Rose -SkullCrusher -Semxtex or Frags (Doesnt matter. I use Semtex) -Gersch or QED (Gersch is more dependable. QED is more FUN!) Just a beast loadout for Moon if you are doing a Tunnel Kite Run in Solo (or just in a tunnel during Co-Op). Ammo should never become a worry, and the weapons listed are the most powerful Wall Weapons available (MNesia FTW!) Gersch Devides for trick moments, or QEDs to "spice things up a bit". This shakes things up on Solo Moon. Not just dome running... -
World At War Shi No Numa High Round Weak Zombies Video
TroubledTurkey posted a topic in Classic Maps
I was bored the other day and played World at War Shi NO Numa just to get to high rounds for the heck of it. Once I got past Round 210 my friend decided we should take a video showing a few rounds, the strategy, and the weak zombies. We also got a few good shots of Nukes taking out entire rounds during the first seconds if the round. The video was originally 12 minutes, but its double speed so its cut to 6 minutes. Sorry for the bad video quality. it was taken with a cell phone. CLICK -
I say Rifles. Specifically SNIPER Rifles. Such POWER they have! Deadshot Daiquiri=Quickscope-Multiple headshots! SMGS and LMGs have higher Ammo, but they are weak. Snipers are 1HKO to the dome until atleast 30. Rifles like the M14 and Gewehr are also pretty beast. They dont hold as much ammo as an SMG, but they have so much more killing power when upgraded than an SMG does. EDIT: Does the FN FAL count as an AR or Rifle? Its an Assult Rifle, but it handles more like a normal Rifle. Iguess if you count the M14 as a Rifle, the FN FAL counts too.

Richtofen. Der Riese (Or BLops Verruckt) Buying a SMG off the wall (atleast one trigger for this quote) 1) Not sure. Richtofen, obviousley, I think Ascension. Not sure the trigger. 2) "Double the Pleasure, Double the pain, Double the DAMAGE!" Richtofen on Kino (or BLops WaW Maps) getting CZ75 Duel weild 3) Nixon buying a gun (Shotgun I think) 4) Richtofen. Ascension. Buying a Shotty. 1) SMG getting a LMG 2) Nyat Sure! 3) I think its Nikolai on Ascension getting or using the T-Gun. (I bet I got a good share of these wrong. The only quotes I have heared over and over are Richtofens.) Heres my own: (Speaker is obviouse. Just give me the Map and Triggers) 1) Wheee! I feel so HIGH! 2) Face or chest?too Late-FACE! 3) I dont know who Jim Bowie was, but he must have been Biiiig and Looong and Sharp!

Debate and Discussion - Solo vs Co-op
TroubledTurkey replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Depends. Map with Traps: Solo is easier and faster. Many variables are also removed, such as WonderWeapons. To get far on a trap level, a wonderweapon is completely un-necessary, just a booster. Map without Traps: Co-Op starts easier, but the drastic jump in zombies, scarcity of Ammo, lack of Boss Rounds make Co-Op a lot more tedious in high rounds. Perk Granting Easter Eggs and George Romero on COTD make Co-Op on high rounds a great deal easier. (George more so in Solo actually...) Nacht: Co-Op is easier if you have players who can survive. The map is just hard through and through (It has its easy moments, and a team of 3 split up throughout all the rooms can get far a lot easier than a solo runner) Moon: Overall, Solo is easier in general. Hacker is god. Though if you have a GOOD team (atleast ONE good player in the game) its pretty damn easy to go far on Moon, especially in the Dome. The most overpowered room in all of zombies (Seriousley... Its like one giant ass room with 5 super-easy kiting spots in it...) -
Zap Gun/Wave Gun - Best Wonder Weapon Ever?
TroubledTurkey replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The Wave Gun is no doubt a badass weapon. You can clear trains, rooms, etc. plow your way through waves with the Zap Guns, and its a general Life saver.... But its "life Saving" properties are almost butchered when paired with the upgraded AUG or M16. (Honestly, the only reason I would ever use these 3 weapons as a Combo at one time would just be to say "Hey look, I have 6 weapons!") My favorite is the WunderWaffe DG3 JZ (Black Ops version). Decent ammo count, fires around corners, ya dont need a full train to get full results. not to mention its point scoring capabilities are far superior to the T-Gun and Wave Gun (Maybe not Zap Gun) WunderWaffe FTW!!! The T-Gun, Shrink Ray, and Scavenger are Wonderweapons I prefer OTHER people to have. I havent gotten Mustang and Sally in a long time (besides on Moon) But its mostly because my Most-played maps dont have Flopper. I actually liked the C-3000 B1ATCH35 from WaW a lot better. Its more what I expected/wanted from a Rocket pistol I love getting the Wave Gun/WunderWaffe, and if I get a VR-11, I'll usually do the COTD easter Egg, get a WW, then get rid of the VR-11. (I WOULD use it for its Co-Op insta-kill affect, but nobody ever stands still when I fire. It seems like the moment I try to shoot someone, they sidestep out of the way. Just more trouble than its worth) Sorta Off Topic: Awsome "rebound" trick for people who die out while down. When they come back, unload an ENTIRE clip of the Lazerus into them, and they get a full minute of free-time to get points, guns, etc. -
Oh, the No monkey round thing is where you buy Revive from the start and try to get Jugg from Monkeys without opening the door. Then let them take your quick revive eventually and it keeps monkey rounds from occuring, but you have Jugg. Cant get any other Perks though, thats the downside (Well some maybe, unless you want to upgrade). Its not really a glitch.

There is a noticeable difference. Especially with the Flogger, thats for sure. Have you tried Running a train on the Lander>Burning em by Mule Kick>Build another at PHD>Burn em at Stamin Up>Build up by Claymores>Burn by Mule Kick>Etc. This completely nullifies the need to get a new thundergun (And eventually, the need for the Thundergun completely), Monkeys keep your Ammo supply up every few rounds (unless you do the "no Monkey Round trick), and eventually points become ridiculous and you can clear 50-60 with about 100,000 points pretty damn quickly.

1 - Ricthofen when he kills a lot of zombies.?? 2 - i believe this s Dempsey when activating one of the Easter egg rocks on Kino 3 - Takeo activation one of the Easter egg rocks on kino Did not mean to hit that button X_X. But no, that wasnt it. 1) Nikolai on Der Riese. Same situation. (other possible answer was Richtofen) 2) Takeo hitting Rock 1 on Kino (OPA Richtofen) 3) Richtofen hitting Rock 2 on Kino. (OPA Takeo)

Ok, messing around in Trap Maps, high Rounds, heavy trap use, etc. And I noticed an inconcistancy with the recharge time of the traps from Map to Map. For Example, On Ascension, round 40-50, I can build a train, burn them down, build up another, blow it away with the Zeus Cannon, build up another and STILL the trap hasnt recharged yet. Now, on SNN, I can build up a train, take them through a trap (Flogger. Electraps on SNN were NOT tested for the inconcistancy) then go build up another and the Trap RECHARGES by the time I already have that second train built up. NOw I THOUGHT the problem with the time I was seeing was related to the Flogger, until I played Der Riese and all the Electraps had a really rapid recharge time, similar to the Flogger. NOw at this point, I thought Maybe its the Fire Traps that have the longer Recharge time, until I tested traps on Verruckt and Kino, which had similar long recharge times like Ascension. Anyone have insight on this? Are the recharge times really that diverse, or am I just going crazy?

We allowed to throw a few out? "Blood, gore, sinew, bones, organs, pulmonary systems!" "I found a piece of the meteor!" "I found another Rock! Maybe they stole this from Japan!" These 3 quotes each have more than 1 answer to WHO says it. I guess I'll give brains to whoever can guess my intended answers. Note: They are all from different characters.

Leaked Zombie Map Quarantine/Cave Photp
TroubledTurkey replied to jimirdavis's topic in General Zombies Discussion
wait.... this guy never said it was true... Everyone makes mistakes lol. Looks kinda like a piece of Ascension though. Near SpeedCola/Sickle Lander. The moment I saw the image, I thought I had seen it before. It LOOKS like it COULD just be a picture of Ascension, but thats just what I think I see. Side Note: Posts regarding this got hostile pretty quick. What ever happened to respect? I know you say its a troll and all that, but the guy didnt even say a word trying to pursuade anyone it was true. (On youtube, on message boards, its just plain asshole-ness to go around spouting "FakeFAKEFAKETROLLTROLLTROLL~!" at stuff like this. Why not just make a list of reasons why it cannot be real, and present them in an organized, and RESPECTFUL way. If the guy IS a troll, he will just never come back. If its a legit New-user that wants to be part of the community, he will thank you for your insight and have a new way of looking/thinking about this... Geeze...) -
What makes a person a "Pro"?
TroubledTurkey replied to yellow-card8's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Heres just a list of things I would consider for someone to be Pro. A Pro Is: 1) Someone who Revives People 2) Someone who can Survive (not go down) 3) Someone who can kill very quickly and efficiently. 4) Someone who doesnt Run into a dead End without an escape plan. 5) Someone who knows the Value of every perk and can improvise without Jugg when required. (Ex: Cant get to Jugg in NML, so you get another perk/Combination of Perks to survive better for a while) 6) Can use any weapon with benefit (this has limits though) 7) Makes things entertaining for spectators. Its never wrong to show of for your down-teammate's entertainment (Got really good at this having friends watching my Solo runs. Its fun to play "theatrically") 8) Someone who will steer clear of Glitchers, unless in a very casual game with a friend who is Glitching just for the fun of it (Seems overlooked. Not EVERY game of zombies is serious. I enjoy the occasional glitch game) 9) Someone who knows that George is NOT as bad as he seems, and is very easy to kill. 10) Usually remains Passive, but doesntly tolerate jackasses in games. 11) Can still play very decently while on something (For a specific type of pro lol) 12) Knows Exactly how and When to Revive. 13) Knows Exactly how and When NOT to Revive. 14) Can Kite expertly, but doesnt need to Kite if they choose not to/need to do things Mid Round. 15) Doesnt care about high rounds if they dont happen as long as the game was Legit, but still try for high rounds when they can. 16) Doesnt go around blasting away with their Wonderweapon when its not necessary/a waste (Not applyed as much to the WunderWaffe or Zap Guns, since you dont need full mobs for full benefit) 17) Knows when it IS a good idea to blast away with Wonderweapons. Could save someone's life. 18) Someone who knows how to manipulate the game to their favor when things get tough. Always have a backup plan. -
NML: Taking the luck out of a 90 second PaP (with video)
TroubledTurkey replied to Superhands's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
I was doing NML a bunch earlier. The time I finally achieved getting both Mustang and Sally and Jugg, I had a really good starting spawn. 15 kills by the first buzzer. Roughly 3500 points after spamming 1911 ammo, First grenade dropped a few crawlers, but killed enough to bring my points up to around 4000. Knifed a few crawlers and had a few left, but I used my second grenade to break 5000 points and upgrade. I got M&S a few times, but the first time I died from them, and another time I realized Speed Cola spawned instead of Jugg so I restarted. It was kinda weird. I had a full spawn, then killed a single crawler and a new zombie AND a dog will spawn after its death. -
People are way too stubborn with easter eggs.
TroubledTurkey replied to TroubledTurkey's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I cant help but think that the people we were with may have just been messing with us. I mean, if 2 people who have never done it before can get it done as quick as we did, it shoulda been even quicker for them, even if they had to tell us what to do. I just looked up a small guide online, took down some key words, and guided my friend with super-easy instructions like "Watch this dial until its 2" or "just stand here for a second and wait" lol. -
People are way too stubborn with easter eggs.
TroubledTurkey replied to TroubledTurkey's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Thats what we did. We got into the game, announced our desire to do the Easter Egg, and these 2 guys said "oh sure, we've done it before, its easy".... 4 hours later, we do it without them. I dont even WANT to do the Shangri-La one now because Honestly, its just too much of a hassle to get 4 cooperating players, and I only know like 2 people that are good and willing to play a game with me. I WANT to do the Moon one, but I just dont wanna do Shangri-La. I dont even like the map. Requiring Achievments to do Big-Bang-Theory=Bad move in my opinion. Thats the only one that seems to have really badass results, and ya gotta pay $45 to do it? LAME. I think they focussed too much on Cooperation in the Easter Eggs (ESPECIALLY ShangriLa). I feel Zombies is just as much a SOLO game as it is a Co-Op game. Should be more Solo features. (I bash Shangri La a lot. Its a nice Map, I am gld I got to play it, but I regret blowing money on it...) -
Last night, my friend Clint and I got together in a game with 2 other random guys on Call of the Dead and (somewhat) started the easter egg. The other 2 didnt even want to do it until we brought it up, and still they didnt want to start until AFTER 15 for some odd stupid reason. After 3 hours of these idiots trying to figure out the lighthouse switches, they both get mad at it and quit. The entire time, I was trying to tell them just to stand down and let me do the dials, but it just didnt sink in. I guess they didnt trust me (since it was my first time doing the Co-Op egg) After this game, my friend and I go in with just us 2, finish the easter egg on round 9 with no Crawlers and we got it done in like 5 minutes. At this point, I just wanted to go back and scream at the randoms we were with. Thing is, they HAVE done it before. it was our first time! I feel like I wasted 4 hours on something that only needed to take 5 minutes.... (Wasnt sure if this should go in COTD or not. It kinda applys to all Easter Eggs. DONT DO THEM WITH RANDOMS)
