  1. That's exactly it. When I'm playing like crap, the skill is always still there. But, my head is not in the game and I make stupid mistakes over and over again.
  2. Chiki-chiki Slim Shady! Just messing. I'm not yet eligable for the Introduction medal so I figured I'd make a long-overdue introduction to myself. I'm Superhands, AKA Nick. 23 year old self-employed Computer Technician & Salesman from Essex, England. I'm here for gameplay & strategy, as well as general off-topic chit-chat. I'm the current World Record holder for highest kills ever on No Man's Land with 361 kills. I've also reached 100 solo on several maps with several more to come, as well as some impressive co-op scores (see my sig for details). I also specialise in creating new and innovative/revolutionary strategies. In my spare time, apart from playing zombies, I like to play snooker & pool, keep healthy and in shape and generally hang out with friends and family. Ta-ra!
  3. My bad for thinking it was legit guys, I completely didn't take console lag into consideration. All of the 140+ runs I've seen done on Xbox & PS3 have been laggy as shit due to the console not being able to handle the bad coding.
  4. Thanks dude, good to see you here Props on the recent FIVE run, I'm dreading doing that map for the sheer amount of time it takes  No [brains] from Tom for a while I'm guessing as I'm leaving FIVE until last I think Thanks man, I'm way too easily distracted with Steam chat, so if I go offline I won't get sidetracked and I'll get it done much quicker ;)
  5. Out of these current ones I think I'm just waiting for the Richtofen medal now, got 4 already I don't think I ever made an introduction thread so I won't be eligable for that medal yet. May have to make one...
  6. Thanks guys Jay, I'm pretty sure the zombies' health in the Classic Maps is no different to the other maps, the zombies used to be weak in W@W but at the high rounds on Black Ops they just don't die, so normal really.
  7. Hey guys, so today I completed another run to 100 in my quest for 100 on any many maps as possible, this time on Der Riese. 3rd 100 in a row with 0 downs The Mule Kick machine is not in this game, my internet was down when I started the game as I figured it'd be a good time to start, forgetting that being offline means Mule Kick won't be there. It's not necessary to have it though. Enjoy!
  8. Let me tell you something; if I'm not really feeling up to playing, feeling a bit lazy, just having some careless fun with friends or just playing for the sake of it, I can be a terrible player, some people I've played with can vouch for this. Though if I'm in the mood, I won't go down and won't miss a revive, people I've played with can tell you this too. What I'm saying is, I don't think anyone is gonna play their best or even play well every time they pick up the controller, it's nothing to feel bad about ;)
  9. They're all brilliant, 8 is my fave. Good work lads :D
  10. I think this is the most effective option, I know myself & Tom have gone off long zombie co-op runs a bit but maybe at some point we could utilise this:
  11. Post the vid in this thread so someone can see it and change the records ;)
  12. This same thread has been made about 100 times My views too.
  13. Apparently that exact guy let out his leaderboard-modding secrets recently, so the leaderboards across both PS3 & Xbox are filled with modded scores now.
  14. Moonwalking Cosmo/Astro Zombie for sure. I've never had the invisible digger. I've had the round not restarting a couple of times, but both occasions where during casual games so I wasn't all that bothered. The Astro glitch is always a potential game ruiner in solo, so I always just lock him in Tunnel 6 in solo with the Excavator and doors ;)
  15. Also a bit like the COTD trailer and loading video - there were machete's and pitchforks in that.
  16. I think it's the other way round mate. 1-30 on FIVE are pretty straight forward, plenty of weapons you can blast through the rounds with thanks to the PaP. At round 30-40 though, time to start using traps. Verruckt is perfect ffor this, whereas it's a pain in the arse to do this on FIVE.
  17. It's a very nicely worked out strategy As shown in the video, if you run the hoard from the MP5 side to the PaP side as you use the trap for the second time rather than from PaP side to MP5 side, you'll be on the PaP side of the trap when the next group are spawning, which will trigger much nicer spawns than starting on the MP5k side of the trap due to spawn zones. Spawning in most cases tends to work like, zombies will only spawn in the room/area on either side of the room/area the player is in (as well as the area itself), the threshhold of areas most commonly determined by where doors/debris once were. So doing it like this, none will initiallyspawn in the MP5k area. You'll also trigger a lot more spawns from the PaP/box area, which means more zombies running through the trap after you for better trap effectiveness I also prefer to leave my point-whoring to when I'm waiting for the PaP trap to recharge, works out very nicely as it gives me plenty of time to use all of the ammo so I can top it up when going back to the AK trap.
  18. This is why I love playing on PC, you can type-chat when you have no mic or just can't be arsed to use it ;)
  19. 2 modes; 1-4 player mode, as it is now. 5-8 player mode, increased amount of zombs on the map at a time.
  20. I guess in this instance, when I say confident, I mean being relaxed, not nervous and you just know you can do it. Experience obviously plays a part in this, but you could have played NML over and over and over, experienced every situation there is yet not got the desired score. So really it's success that creates confidence much more than experience. Though of course, you need to know what you're doing when it comes to NML so practice and experience is essential in becoming a good player.
  21. Good stuff Tom Yeah as I explained to phx, looping the big pool is a really nice base, with cutbacks when needed. The 2 corners next to the stairs make excellent shooting points, you're not gonna get ambushed going past the stairs as you shoot. Cheers Alpha, been meaning to get on that forum actually :)
  22. I'm definitely capable of getting 365. 370, now that's a pretty huge challenge ;)
  23. That last one is Tom852 isn't it? I think he and myself are on there for pushing the Gameplay & Strategy section and I think NML medals.
