  1. If it helps at all, Tac, I would think shooting Samantha would be pointless with all her power. Shooting her in the game surely does not accomplish anything. If you try to assume it is a technical error, then it is quite a flaw in logic. "Tank thinks to himself 'Crap, the world's blown up... Hm, I'll go shoot Richtofen and show him a thing or two. On second thought... naaaaaah.'"
  2. I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. I just don't think they're bothering to fix it. Hey, they still haven't fixed the Bouncing Betty glitch in WaW or the one in Black Ops Der Riese. As for that video. I watched it. Very unconvincing. Bad data. They were only able to get the Astro-Zombie to run towards him ONCE, and they are trying to say it isn't random? A theory can only become a law through numerous testing and repeated results; SAME results. One single anomaly is nothing. How many times did they throw Gersches? What, 20? Well maybe the Astro-Zombie will only run one-twentieth of the time! Honestly, the best way to deal with it is to expect it. On Moon, the circle I have is good enough that I can just run a running Astro-Zombie with the rest of my Zombies. I just have to keep a brisk pace. When I FINALLY kill him, I can resume my normal speed.
  3. You're not supposed to "both" it. I really like the Quantum Entanglement Device. It has some bad effects, but their chances of appearing are less than the good effects, and much less than the probability of good effects and neutral effects combined. Always have at least one person with the Gersch Device, for safety, but hey... They other guy can have some fun and get a QED just to try to see what he can get.
  4. I slightly disagree. I do have to note, though, that I do think it a relief I'm not the only one who thought of Maxis being an A.I. I disagree on Sam "uploading" his intelligence. It just sounds messy, complicated, and illogical to me. She can't bring the dead back to life. I believe that Maxis, having familiarity with computers as seen by the Datenbediensteter, the Data Sevant, created the A.I. as a backup in case something happened to him. Griffin Station's mainframe is shown when it brings forth Dr. Maxis that it is somehow connected to the planet, so Maxis could have wirelessly have downloaded it to the mainframe at some point. Or he could have had it on his person when abducted, which seems less likely. However he transferred it, the new Maxis, the Maxis A.I., is purely data, with no real connection. Richtofen claims he is "in a machine" and attempts to "delete" him. And in conjunction with what I've said, he is an entirely different entity from Dr. Maxis, just having the same exact intelligence as him, like a digital clone, not that it matters, as the original Maxis is dead. The Maxis A.I. is not.
  5. Deadshot Daiquiri. It sounds cool. It's cleverly done. The lyrics have a wit about them.
  6. Yeah, people don't like it usually because it is difficult. I always liked it (I like every map) because the challenge was exhilirating.
  7. There is about 4 letters on the QED that are the as on the 31-79 JGb215 (sorry for not using full name) and dials/wheels in the mud pit room Well hold on there. The numbers on the dials in the Mud-Pit Room are Mayan numbers. Notice that some of these letters are on the name plate for the 31-79 JGb215. Other letters look English, Greek, or Phoneocian, so it may be a language conglomerate of other languages. Maybe. Oh and don't worry about it; it's not a big deal.
  8. Well I still need to read over it and formulate my exact reaction, but I didn't even notice those writings! Good job. Someone once told me there were Russian writings, but I'm guessing that that's untrue? EDIT: The writing on the gong, that is EDIT: What writing on the QED? The writing on the 31-79 JGb215 is probably the Vril-Ya language, or at least the local Asian language.
  9. Yeah, I find it disappointing. If only it weren't for the whole "turning" thing, then it could be considered canon.
  10. No no no. The whole different dimensions thing is made out to be much more than it is. I already knew about Richtofen turning into a Zombie and how that is non-canonical. But the only real canonical dimension stuff is Aether and the only real-world dimensions, length, width, height, time, and the 5th dimension. Basically, when they changed time in Shangri-La, they are moving across the 5th dimension by changing the outcome in time, the 4th dimension, so teeeccchhhnically, yes, dimensions, but all the other stuff, no. Kino is not in another dimension.
  11. But will you actually use an HK21 or RPK beyond Round 100? In high Rounds, I just use a Wonder Weapon and a random point weapon (not counting Mule Kick). When the point weapon runs out of ammo, I get a new gun out of the Box and go again and just use whatever it gives me. Oh and thanks about the Thundergun part. If it isn't going too far off-topic, I'd like to expound a bit on that, because I've never had an opportunity to explain this to someone: Yes, with the Thundergun, it is only useful at short ranges, that is just a prerequisite to killing with it. Just as if if the rule was "Press A before you fire", the Thundergun has a rule "Be close when you fire". All I'm saying with that is that the Thundergun has a POTENTIAL ability to kill 336 Zombies. The Scavenger isn't counted like the majority of the Wonder Weapons, since it has a damage cap, like the Ray Gun. It's just really high. The Ray Gun does 270,000 TMD un-upgraded while the Scavenger does 108,880, but this number is misleading since they are explosive weapons. Multiply the number by however many Zombies you hit, which will be a lot more for the Scavenger. Also, the Scavenger does do infinite damage until Round 35. Some more Fixed Killing Capacities: 1152 = The Fractalizer 796 = Max Wave Gun / Porter's Zap Guns 720 = 31-79 JGb215 672 = Zeus Cannon 416 = Wave Gun / Zap Guns 360 = Wunderwaffe DG-3 336 = Thundergun 180 = Wunderwaffe DG-2 24 = V-R11 Lazarus 12 = V-R11
  12. No, it's not about ammo capacity. But it helps. The HK21 deals between 450 and 150 damage at an ideal distance (450 for headshots, 150 for legs). The RPK only deals between 390 and 130 damage at an ideal distance (390 for headshot, 130 for legs). The H115 Oscillator deals between 630 and 210 damage at an ideal distance (630 for headshots, 210 for legs). The R115 Resonator only deals between 540 and 180 damage at an ideal distance (540 for headshot, 180 for legs). It does less damage. And it has less ammo. That's how the HK21 has a whopping Maximum Total Damage of 281,250, while the RPK only has 195,000. (H115 Oscillator, 567,000; R115 Resonator, 337,500) Not only that, but the RPK has a longer reload time. The RPK reloads in 4 seconds loaded, while the HK21 does it in 3.75 seconds. When unloaded, they do it in 5.5 seconds and 4.75 seconds, respectively. So not only does the the RPK and its upgraded form do less damage, weigh the same (at 87.5% efficiency), have less ammo, have smaller magazines, but they also reload slower. In fact, the one and ONLY way it beats the HK21 is RPM. (HK21, 535; H115 Oscillator, 535; RPK, 750; R115 Resonator, 750) So RPM is the only way it beats it, which gives it your DPS. But this is Zombies, not Multiplayer. When you are running circles in the really high Rounds, RPM is a luxury, not a necessity. It's one reason why people typically don't view Double-Tap Root Beer as a necessity. I'd rather choose a really good gun that's a little slow than a worse gun that uses all of its ammo faster. And the argument that the RPK would be useful in a pinch doesn't work either; that extra RPM will rarely ever save you, and definately not so on high Rounds. And the comparison to the Thundergun isn't valid because each shot's damage is ∞. Since ∞ isn't a number, you can't think of the Thundergun's Total Maximum Damage being ∞ x 14 = ∞. You must simply think of it as 14∞, giving 14 free kill-shots, with each shot killing as many as 24. Giving the Thundergun a Fixed Killing Capacity of 336, non-upgraded. For comparison, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 has a FKC of 180.
  13. Do you only plan on surviving for one minute? It's about long term. How much damage the gun can do in its lifespan without having to be saved by a Max Ammo.
  14. What? No, you're right. But coding isn't necessary. Heavy weapons have a long put-away animation. Light weapons have a short put-away animation. Put-away animations are reversed when taking out a weapon. So. Switching from Ray Gun to Winter's Howl is fast-fast. Switching from Ray Gun to HK21 is fast-slow. Switching from HK21 to RPK is slow-slow. And by the way guys, don't try to say that the HK21 makes you slower than with the RPK. They both make you run at 87.5% of your normal speed.
  15. Any way you think this can be tied into the story?
  16. Well, not really. That's diplomatic, not war. It's more like considering Poland as part of Germany, as it was at the time. Since it, and Takeo, just say "Japan" instead of either "mainland Japan" or "area controlled by Japan", it could be either... again, we don't know.
  17. I doubt it, but Zombies will end some day. It has to. But the true fans will stay around long after its gone.
  18. You aren't being clear. At all. A "small" reason makes a "most likel"ihood? That's wishful thinking. You're choosing your data to fit your beliefs.
  19. What are you talking about? All of that stuff existed before you established a connection. The bird didn't make that stuff appear out of thin air. It's just a line you're drawing to connect it to stuff because it is "like" Shi No Numa. Well obviously. It's an Asian Pacific island. They are going to have similarities. And yes, most places on Earth have had meteorites hit them.
  20. HK21. It has much more killing power. Upgraded, it can deal 504,000 damage while the RPK upgraded can only do 337,500. The slow RoF isn't a problem in high Rounds where you have all the time in the world since the rounds already take forever.
  21. Mountains out of molehills? Oh okay, so being a little mean is acceptable? My point. All this data. All these files. It all adds up to one thing. We do not know where Shi No Numa takes place any more specifically than we already did.
  22. You completely ignored my point! I'm not saying that hyenas live there or that those birds do either! You simply cannot CHOOSE your data. The first lesson in statistics is that you cannot remove any data that you don't like. The bird is just as relevant as the hyena. If the hyena turns out to be irrelevant, then so is the bird! You can't disprove that. (You haven't even tried yet!) You can argue against the reasoning, but my point is sound. You cannot pick and choose your data. You need to choose. Does the bird mean that Shi No Numa takes place in New Guinea? Well if so, then the hyena means that it also takes place in Africa. (I don't see you choosing that option. I wouldn't either.) Then there's the non-native option. Then there's the option that it is all ambience.
  23. *hyena's simply dont live in jungles and swamps (and yes, as hard as it is to believe, shi no numa takes place in a jungle/swamp) *kookaburras live in New Guinea, an area we've seen is filled with jungles and swamps from the pictures posted *the buildings in New Guinea are uncannilly similar to the ones on Shi No Numa *Japan never held any land that would be habitable by hyenas during WWII (or at any time AFAIK) *Japan held New Guinea around WWII *There are no swamp/jungle areas in Japan with those style buildings AFAIK *There is no area anywhere with the style buildings and swamps and kukaburras other then New Guinea AFAIK all these facts line up fairly well IMO Shi No Numa takes place in a swamp?!!!! Seriously, cut out the sarcasm. It's uncalled for. He's just trying to state his point, and since his point is similar to mine, I'll defend him. The buildings in New Guinea are similar to ones in Shi No Numa? They are HUTS. How different could they be? The entire region probably has similar huts. You are choosing two sound files. Saying that one counts and the other one doesn't. You can't do that. You say "well hyena is just ambience". What if I said that the bird was just ambience? Oh, but the bird could possibly be the location. Woodlands =/= swamps. Woodlands is land with wood. A swamp is mostly moisture and plants that capitalize on that. You have a couple sensable options as I see it. 1. Discount all the evidence altogether for not adding up. It's all just ambience that you guys are looking far too much into. 2. Accept all evidence as the creatures living there, i.e. there are those birds and hyena in Shi No Numa. This would simply mean that they are NON-native, hence, giving us NO insight into where Shi No Numa is located. That's it. You can't just pick one saying it counts while the other doesn't, saying that it is non-canon. That's picking the data to suit your theories, when it should be picking the theories to support the data. Being Zombies fans, we are fortunate that we have so few non-canonical data, compared to other series.
