  1. [brains] for making me laugh at the mom smoking pot comment...
  2. 1. Who confirmed the code is real? How do we know some jackwagon isn't running around laughing at a code that makes semi-sense (note semi...parts of this seem to be missing or irregular in coding). 2. If it is real, where is the rest of the coding for the map? Why has no one seen it? 3. Do you have links to said interviews for all to see? Thanks...
  3. Seriously?!? This myth has been around forever. I have heard it more times than I care to count...and not seen an ounce of evidence. 1: Why is there a door? Because there are 3 completely useless doors. Personally, it looks like a storage closet and nothing more... 2: Take a picture with your cell phone, give a clip... If you want me to believe you...give me a carrot to follow. Hints give nothing without proof. You can give me a picture inside that room without telling me how to do it...proof and I'll believe you. 3. This guy is actually so noble he's going to leave us to figure it out and not be "The First" to post the how to video? Zombies communities are raving over this next step...you'd have viewers and ratings galore... I call fake. Its fake
  4. Further research concluded, lets actually look at the steps taken in Vorkuta, and how they "Could" apply to the actual game. If we are expecting the steps to mirror the Campaign, would it be more plausible to know the names of the steps, or what we had to do to achieve the steps. 1) Secure the Keys Campaign: Literally, hit the melee button. At mission start, all you do is hit the guard over Resnov. Nothing difficult as the first step is accomplished in the first few seconds of the mission. Now, what does this accomplish? Well, Resnov now uses the keys through the rest of the level. Ascension: What is the "Key" to the Easter Egg? The Gersh device. Literally, used in several of the next steps, the Gersch device is the Key, and necessary to even begin the rest of the Easter Egg. Part of these 2) Ascend from Darkness Campaign: A 2 step process. First, kill the guards and make it to the elevator. 2, take the elevator and "ascend" from the darkness of the labor mine. Ascension: First, Capture the generator so the device can use power. Second, activate the node and "reroute" power to the casimir mechanism. 3) Rain Fire Campaign: Another 2 step process. First, push your way forward with the coal cart and wait for your comrades to "rain fire" on the guard tower. Then, its your turn to "rain fire" by slingshotting fire to other guard towers. Ascension: There are 2 steps to raining fire: The one you do and the one done for you. Monkeys "rain fire" when coming to the planet, and you rain fire when destroying the rocket. 4) Unleash the Hoard Campaign: A rather simple step of shooting a padlock off the gate. Ascension: A rather simple step of standing in place for 2 minutes. 5) Skewer the winged beast Campaign: Especially on Hardened and Veteran, you have to time your run carefully and grab the harpoon to shoot down the helicopter. This helicopter crashes to open the next section of the map. Ascension: Use the Landers carefully in the right order to reach the final step. This is where this gets interesting: 6) Wield a fist of iron Campaign: Obtain the death machine. Note: The objective ends BEFORE you leave the building. The actual "Objective" section of this part of the mission is guarding Resnov from the prison guards. Once you get the Death Machine you are told Objective Complete Ascension: This is the steps leading to the Death machines, not the actual usage of. This means we have to look at the process of Shooting the Gersch device as step 6, the usage of is step 7. 7) Raise Hell It may say, "Hell" near speed cola and guns may have "hell" references in the name (upgraded Olympia) but what we're missing is the actual step of "Raise Hell." Campaign:In game this is following the saying "Raise Hell" meaning cause as much death and destruction as possible. Here is where I note a few things: A) A special achievement for this section of the map is to destroy all vehicles. This section of the mission ends with tear gas and confusion. Mason is only saved by Resnov. C) There is nothing in particular to shoot...excepts trucks and bad guys. So, what does this mean? Are we simply supposed to "Raise hell" on the map? How are we left to be "gassed" like Mason. Before you finish with the DM...is there something to do that would normally knock you out. 8) Freedom Campaign: Freedom in game is escaping on a motorcycle with a shotgun. Resnov doesn't escape, and says something along the lines of freedom requires sacrifice. Ascension: Who is this freedom for? Gersh is the one to escape while Resnov and the other prisoners are left behind to die. When the truth of Resnov is exposed, we find that he died in Vorkuta, and like Tyler Durden doesn't exist. So are we, the players, left behind while Gersh is the only one who escapes? Are we the sacrifice so he can get free? OR: Lets go back to step 7. 7) We have an odd piece of evidence that something with the Dm's can shorten the time and sacrifice your secondary, grenades, claymores, and tactical grenades. With this, perhaps "Hell has been raise" (shooting the moon, shooting the door, who knows?) Which leads to step 8) Freedom If things must be done in order, Gersh cannot be the one reaching freedom. Freedom must be accomplished AFTER the Raise Hell step, and if we accept there is more, we need step 8...how do we free ourselves from Ascension? And who needs to be free? Now that I've rambled on and on...we'll see if this goes anywhere.
  5. Cest la vie Each board is different, and I'm still learning.
  6. Yeah, I knew that....I wasn't sure whether or not to post a new one, or not...so I did. Worst case scenario I get a bunch of people calling me a noob and linking this post to the existing convo. That stuff has never bothered me, but I don't feel as noobish now that I know the vid hasn't been posted yet!
  7. Captain Planet Zan (from the wonder Twins) Aquaman The White Power Ranger They don't stand a chance.....
  8. This has been posted before who knows maybe there right. Damn...Seriously?!? I could have sworn I haven't seen that yet before anywhere and I looked (cause I think it was you who beat me yesterday to their DM 46 second thingy by mere minutes! Ahh well... *puts on Noob hat*
  9. http://www.nextgentactics.com/VideoPlay ... entID=8305 interesting how they classified a few...but visually they make an excellent argument.
  10. Upgrade to Speed Cola: Aim down sights faster, faster switch time between guns...nothing worse than going down while waiting for your character to ready his LMG.... I like the wonder potion idea...though I'm worried about the overpoweredness that might cause. It sounds fun, but with all the Wonder Weapons out (Potentially 4 out) might not give the zombies a fair chance. Much like the Ammo-Matic, it could give a chance for even the most intermediate player to reach higher levels. The only Con I see is Ammo, but on a map like Ascension, carefully placed TG or Zeus shots can finish rounds quickly without a lot of Ammo consumption. How about a Bonus Timer perk, a perk that when the drinker gets a power-up (Death Machine, 2x, Insta-kill, etc) it causes the bonus to last longer. instead of the 30 seconds, maybe a minute. For Max Ammo, this could give a shot 15-30 second period where players lose no ammo out of their count (reloading is still necessary). The nuke would be instantaneous instead of having a delay in killing all zombies on the map. Potentially this nuke could delay any new spawning zombies for a few seconds for the team to regroup. Same with Carpenter...it rebuilds even when torn down for 10-15 seconds to give the team time to group up, get everyone up, maybe buy a perk or 2... Upgraded: this gives the player the option to "hoard" power-ups. Instead of picking up a power up, the player can hold onto it and access it in his inventory. Potentially left on the D-Pad (XBOX) where killstreaks go. you can only use them in order (like killstreaks), and if you go down you lose them. I would also like to upgrade grenades, secondary grenades, and claymores.
  11. I know I'm very much a newbie here...but I can contribute anything needed. I no longer have equipment or software for actual podcast making, but I am in my last semester before receiving my MA in English. I am also published in English Teaching magazines that only teachers and nerds read. I can contribute writing and editing services if needed. I have experience writing for all sorts of Genre's, including podcasts, and offer any assistance with technical writing, flow, and structure if you like. If not, I do look forward to a pocast like this...I can't often find subjects in podcasts that I appreciate!
  12. This isn't the first time they have posted this....I saw this a few days ago. That battery is always there...I think their just bucking for YouTube Likes (Cause nobody like them in real life!).
  13. Make friends with the fat people. In a pinch, you can always out run them and they take longer to eat.
  14. I actually replicated that detail...thought it'd be funny to be able to say the next step was discovered because Spiderbite was using an unfamiliar controller.
  15. it isn't logical... The current 3 words we know we can spell are spelled without need of an individual leaving the lander...but Hell would require getting off....
  16. that makes me think something done VERY EARLY in the easter egg set the time for the run-out of DM. Shooting the moon? We have a 4 second margin of error here...what happens different within 4 seconds of these two occurrences?
  17. Alright, so I have a random observation, with no hypothesis. When you get to the "Luna" Step of the Mystery Man easter egg, you have access to the following Letters. A, E, H, I, L, M, N, R, S, T, U, Y. Now, according to the Easter Egg as it is currently fleshed out, we need to spell Luna. According to hackers and a supposed "Code" we need to spell "Hitsam" and "Hyena" for something else new and special.... So why is "R" a letter option? Every other letter is used....except R. This is the letter from Dr. Flopper to the Centrifuge room... Are we overlooking this poor letter R? We supposedly use every other letter...and if it isn't used, why R? If we had a C we could spell treyarch...but no go there (and the letters wouldn't work out in order...) So, theories...why an R?
  18. Read the update i made. interesting...I am wondering what you did that we did not? Perhaps we can get on tomorrow and try it to see if we can find what causes this glitch? It is possible our lunar lander timing AFTER getting the DM was late. I had a kid who was rather jumpy and button happy...we'd almost landed at the B&W section of the egg... Finally having time to watch the video in full, a few things happen that Spider does NOT comment about. 1. they receive a Max Ammo just before he goes down. A Max ammo is the only known way to replenish Gersh devices. I say this because Kentucky (Yellow) went down moments before, and I am not sure if they tried to buy weapons and so forth before hand...or between the max ammo and Spider going down. If it WAS spider going down...why him? Because he was Nikolai? Because he was host (He has said he always hosts games he is recording)? 2. Yellow gains 110 points when they are shooting the lock. I would LOVE to know what he was shooting at. Hit points are 10 points per bullet, with 50 for killing a zombie. 100 for headshot, and 130 for knifing. It is POSSIBLE that a zombie crawler died, thus respawning with legs and he shot him through that back window? If so, and he got a headshot, it would equal the 110 that he got. This would mean they would have had 2 zombie crawlers...but Spiderbite is a point whore (self-proclaimed none-the-less) and if you watch his other videos. He always kills any extra crawlers. It'd be hard to believe he missed one. Also Death Machines are not meant for quality shots as much as they're meant for quantity....that's one hell of a shot Kentucky would have pulled off. Even so...its a plausible theory as to why he got 110 points. There was NO animation on the door or otherwise...are you supposed to realize the door was shot in time? If you rewatch that particular section...Spider backs up and you see Hypermole (Green) and Frank (White) both shooting...but no bullets coming from behind spider. Where is Kentucky shooting? What is he shooting at? 3. So, blackfire, I ask you this: Did you time how long you got the DM's exactly? Was it 46 seconds like Spiderbite got? (Note: The timer goes just past 45 and is closer to 46 when they actually run out)? Was it after shooting the door? And what parts of the process did you follow? Was there 2 Gersh devices when freeing Gersh like the video (Only detail I didn't mimic). ****EDIT:**** 4. Why can he interact with the Dolls (I presume Song bears and other non-press "X" items on the map) Hint at what to do? ****END EDIT**** I will be on tomorrow night...for a long time. Anyone is free to join me in analyzing this further. I think I will dedicate my night to this....
  19. its an amazing read of code...though I still question the origin of this code as parts don't make sense. The flags you mention are requesting certain items...such as "Thundergun" but only once remark to each weapon upgraded. While we recognize the Awful Lawton as the upgraded Crossbow, the game would recognize (in coding) two separate weapons. One goes in the PaP, the other comes out...so why Thundergun and not Thundergun_upgraded, like the code previously states? Still, an amazing analysis of this code, whether legit or not.
  20. evidence? Also, where did this code come from? How do we know its legit? I have spent a lot of time reading over this code and parts of it just don't make sense. Several aspects seem incomplete, and while it looks like line code, it has parts that seem rather funky... So just curious, where did this come from?
  21. Its possible. I have tried to replicate this once today, with no success. We did everything they did in the 4 videos (this one was the last of 4). It was all one game, we spelled Hyena and Hitsam followed by Luna. Performed the final steps, then we were sure to do the following: 1) all 4 get on the luna lander. 2) everyone shoot the moon. 3) everyone shoot the door. We did get the death machines for 90 seconds, and all 4 of us in the PaP with no success. Oh well.....
  22. That isn't what interests me as much as them losing the DM's early. It didn't just "Disapear", the pop-up marker flashed and disappeared. IT seemed like they did something that almost kicked off the egg, but missed the last step. I sent messages to everyone who listed interest here. I"ll be on today till early afternoon if anyone is up for recreating this. Send me a message: XBL: Johnny Reklaw
  23. Gamertag: Johnny Reklaw I am so up for recreating this and seeing what happens. anyone say "Sacrifice" (yeah...read the Omega thread if you are confused...)
