  1. I do believe Treyarch could make Easter Egss/Hidden Rooms invisible as soon as you NoClip. It would be an easy script; } If player (noclip=1) Set egg_room_1 (Empty_Wall) Set egg_sam_vox (Vol=0) Set egg_add_wunderwaffe (Script_void) Set player_egg_quote_vox (Vol=0) Set egg_sam_character_model (Texture_gone=1) { It would be easy, and I think that is what they did after people constantly noclipping and finding everything. Makes sense. Yeah that makes sense. But still if you read the code it's not there. Is it possible to hide code? plausible coding? Yes. The problem is that there is not a standard method of "no-clipping". No clipping is a term basically for hacking the system...there might be an anti "no clip" program...but it wouldn't stop all of the variations of No-clipping...... This would also add a few issues, such as blank canvas walls behind a wall. If you've ever seen the outside of a map, you'd notice that there are "incomplete" areas as the design is not meant to go that far. There would be obvious voids in the design or areas that seemed more "incomplete" if you hid an entire room....all-in-all, a lot of overkill that would leave obvious gaps.
  2. level would have nothing to do with it......the map isn't going to change between levels, someone would see it.
  3. The vid with Takeo's date of death are not confirmed to be official
  4. There are actually 3... One in map, 2 outside it. I wonder if we could somehow collect them all.....
  5. The 2nd lander has been exhausted to death...with not a lot of success... As for eminem, I am going to say i think we can safely assume he is not the missing link to the equation. Perhaps you'd like to make a thread tying him to Ascension? But I don't see Treyarch tying Nazi zombies to eminem (though I do have a good mental picture of rapping zombies in my head...) The fist of iron is an interesting theory...but how do you account for no active hammers for us to wield. Sickles are often made of a lightweight steel, as they are too heavy to carry made of iron. They're original dimensions were much larger than the game shows, and were used for harvesting grain...not brains. Still, if you could give some more details, I would consider any of these a little more. We have several theories as to the next step and lander 2, but no one has that next, last, or another step to add.
  6. Awful Lawton and Winter's Fury...group 'em up, freeze 'em
  7. I am going to preface this by saying I don't thing therre is much new in what I am about to say. I am simply puzzling together a few things in my mind that I don't think I have seen correlated yet. Forgive the wall text that is following, but please take a moment to consider a few things. 1) I dont think there is another area of the map that we have not accessed. There are many casimir looking devices, but nothing has ever come of them...I believe them to be props. I think the next step of the easter egg (or what I'm going to call a new easter egg) involves an existing area of the map. Now, why do I think this? It comes from 2 lines that are always found in the Easter Egg (and others.... At the start of every game on Ascension, Gersch (mystery man if you don't think its Gersch) beings with, "Please, help me....she's coming." Who "she" is seems relatively obvious to mot zombieites, but I'm going to state the obvious, "she" is Sam. Now, throughout the completion of the easter egg Gersch (mystery man) makes another remark, "Hurry, she's almost here, help me, LUNA!" this says she is getting closer...closer than she was when he said she's coming. Finally, one of the more recent discoverys, you can hear Sam, after screaming, say, "Come find me." we have hinted at this, but we have not yet discovered what this means. Literally, its hide and seek. Its not the first time. There are numerous references to samantha believing the entire zombie thing as a game, why wouldn't she like to play a game of hide and seek. She was angry when we freed Gersch...now we have to find her for the next part of the game. This is where I believe we are looking at a new easter egg. We have finished the mystery man easter egg, but we have unlocked another. We need to find Samantha. This is why there is no more howling, this is why the code ends...the next step in the coding is elwhere as another section of code. We need to look at a few things for where to find her. 1) it isn't in the nature of any company to make an easter egg that has a one-shot principal. Meaning, whatever the next step is not going to be failed if you don't complete it on the first try. In a potentially endless game like zombies, you should be able to access the easter eggs whenever...no matter how much you failed. Think of it this way, if you don't shoot enough stuff into the Gersch device, you get unlimited tries until you give it enough "power." So, as I flesh out this theory, I don't think the 90 second death machine is key to the next step...unless you consider this: Codex claims that every DM power up after this gives everyone the DM for the standard 30 seconds. This is obviously not enough time to get all over the map, but if you knew where you were going, you and the team could post up until you got them again. Or the DM's have nothing to do with Sam's hiding place. I do not think we are looking for a new place on the map...and this is because of the basic rules of hide and seek. There are always boundaries. As a child, my neighborhood used to play hide and seek, but certain lawns/backyards, were off limits. If you hid there, you lost. Same principle applies here, we have been all over the map with no hint of going elsewhere. Some people have seen other potential areas (another lander pad by speed cola, a door below stamin-up) but others have no clipped the map to the furthest extent...no additional areas exist. So, where could she be? I'm sure I'll see someone (or many someones) claim the centrifuge...and i say show me proof. I don't think its going to be as simple as one step. The completed mystery man easter egg had 6 confirmed steps....why would finding Sam be easier? The steps for freeing Gersch were continually more complex, requiring more people to complete. The first 2 steps required only one person. But suddenly, you need 4 people for the monkey buttons and pressure switch. Also, don't forget that the LUNA lander step requires 3 lander pads and 1 rider...meaning unless someone runs around like crazy, 4 people... So why not use 4 people to find her. I have said before that there are 3 inassessible doors...but all look like storage rooms to me. Is she hiding in the closet? (a favorite hiding place of my youth) or is she stuck in the centrifuge and we need to get her out. The only way I Could see there being more to the map was if it was a puzzle to open, like the casimir device was. (this is a pretty big if in my mind). So, here is how I propose to find Sam: we need a team. This team needs to explore every inch of Ascension. This team needs to note every minor detail from battery locations, lander configuration, perk cola songs, etc. And make a note of it all. Then, they need to complete the mystery man easter egg...and scour the map again. Find what is different, what sounds are new. Does something in the distance look different. Does the moon change? They need to confirm and/or debunk existing hypothesis and create their own while exploring. What can they find that changes or seems different about each section of the map. Yes, that seems obvious, but notice we are now aware we are looking for a hiding place. What does that tell us? Someplace inconspicuous...someplace where a small child could hide...a small child with godlike powers and "Fluffy" hellhound pets...Most of all, what is or is not a Logical "first step" to a new easter egg...one more complex than mystery man. My idea being out...your Ideas? Thoughts? P.s. Forgive the wall text...please.
  8. @ meacham.....don't believe a word of it....your just bucking for YouTube follows. Otherwise you'd post a link to the video...not just say its coming....
  9. TBH I think most people are just writing the first thing that comes into their ead, instead of actually thinking it through first ... One mans brain vomit can lead to anothers massive breakthrough
  10. Most theories are shooting into nowhere....including many of my own.
  11. Maybe I would be more definitive...if it was possible.
  12. 1. The lights stay on that light the machine. 2. You cannot buy perks while having DM's 3. There is mo proof the power goes out...only that it goes black and white. Hope that answers your questions
  13. Interesting theories...but I wonder how much we can trust a few facts: 1. How do we know the power goes out in the black and white scream of Sam? In making a point of everything that is on when Sam screams...you prove that the power is on as every bonus to turning on the power is active (perks, landers, etc) 2. This generator... Does it match the original? The original was loose, sparking, and howling... 3. The centrifuge controls...what does this mean for a theory that has yet to be tested? The jug room is the control room...but other areas of the map have other purposes for the cosmodrome...but they don't necessarily relate to the easter egg we have been deciphering... That's my questions here...
  14. We're halfway there...a bereft device can cause them to moonwalk
  15. John Wayne....oh wait, he was always drunk. Han Solo...wait, they found him in a bar Zorro....ah crap, he ends up a drunkard in prison.... Yea, all American heroes are drunks!
  16. I think PhD Flopper gives you a nuke because, like a fire sale, you are likely to use it at the most inappropriate time and get yourself downed. Can't tell you how many times I've played with people on live who flop down the stairs continually...and suddenly they're down because they failed to flop or get up fast enough. I only by flopper for the splash and fall damage immunity. It makes the ray gun, grenades, law, etc very powerful as you can cook a grenade in your hand without dying. This is the purpose of Flopper. Since this is simple to test, I did this yesterday pre and post the mystery man easter egg...no success. Its hard to land right in front of the door, and when you do it, the flop often fails.
  17. No matter what. There are a number of clocks (One tilted sideways next to Jugg...one in the area below the power...and several others). Even the clock that spawns and disappears on the pressure switch is 2 minutes to midnight...... So, like the letter "R", I ask why? I add more information to this. It IS possible for them to get "real time" on the clocks as they do this on Five. SO 1) They made a new prop for ascension even though they had a clock template (including one for Moscow, Russia)? Or does it mean something more. 2) Why 2 minutes to midnight? Do we need to survive those "2 minutes" for something? 3) Is it any amount of irony that it is a 2 minute pressure switch....WITH A CLOCK!?!?!?!?!?!?! (over dramatic emphasis...i know)[not to mention missed capitalization]. So...having overused periods, exaggerated hyperbole to the furthest extent, I ask the question I have in mind: Is this significant, or do I need to go to bed and look for theories when I'm not so tired? (Or should I stop theorizing all together?!?!?!??!??!??!??!!??!?!??!)
  18. tried that to no avail...even left the rocket sit for 3 rounds.
  19. Perhaps you have a suggestion of a place that we haven't looked at yet? If you think we should start somewhere, it'd be nice to give us something to work with.
  20. Do we have the whole code for Ascension....This covers Kino and Five, but not Ascension. That would help a lot in deciphering map differences.
  21. There is already an extra step in gathering the generator.......that makes 5 if you count that. Some of the steps take more steps.
  22. This helps newbies like me....THANK! (Its also appears on the bottom of the main page below the member names)
  23. Actually, there are 13 batteries, most of which say sparky
  24. I'm sorry...but "Sparticus, in at thread, has already been proven a fake. I don't believe a word he says unless he gives me some kind of proof.
