Why exactly would Richtofen be back to his original state if that IS Samantha? He and Sam switched places completely... and even with Sam's return, she's only spiritually controlling Richtofen. There could be a number of ways on how that *could* be Samantha, or it could be someone completely random. However, I don't think that Treyarch would flat out just post a picture of some new playable character on the release poster like that, but at the same time, if it were Sam, they still wouldn't do that either I don't think, but it makes the most sense since she is a familiar character.

Considering that the loading screens in the Blops maps especially are all comic book themed, I think it would be way sweet to have an official Nazi Zombies comic book at this point.

Even still, that's pretty shady of Treyarch. I mean, it's blatantly obvious... and of course when you're as cryptic as Treyarch, the Zombies community is gonna scramble like ants to find the most plausible theory.

I was thinking it would be really neat if they had a "Zombies Hardened Edition" for the hardcore zombie fans that was basically just the Hardened edition of the game, but came with the medal case with the zombie for the "Rezurrection" cover on it, as well as a booklet full of the zombies concept art and a set of all the perk-a-cola stickers inside.

So basically, the medals that fit a category will be permanent, unless you've got multiple "Site Achievements" and "Misc." medals that exceed the max displayed (which is 6) then those will be pushed back, correct?

Survivor/Veteran medal basically is for anyone who has been here for over a year or was previously a member at the old forums. And by the looks of it, in just a few days you'll be set. ;)

They really should make a specific "Co-op Campaign" option again that's fitted specifically for two players. Even in WaW, you were more or less just two soldiers, kinda running and gunning through the campaign and nothing really was different between single player and Co-op. It would be way cool if they had some kind of Army of Two approach were teamwork was essential, and a focus point of the gameplay as well as the missions themselves.

Indeed. Just the fact that Samantha basically confirms that she plans to get her own body back definitely makes said theories plausible. But how is something I'm certainly curious about. Because ultimately, if she really does get her own body back, I highly doubt they would basically make it so you can walk around as an 8-9 year old, running around with a shotgun, so she would have to be much older.

There's no denial that it will be a great game. I think Treyarch is a better company for the job and has yet to disappoint me, personally. However I'm simply stating in my own opinion that it's just not the CoD we all know and love, it's become more of everything else that's popular and has completely swayed, rather than what we are used to. Who knows? It could be just what CoD needs for all I know. But it still doesn't change that they aren't the first to do it, and are just in line of other popular futuristic/modern shooters at this point.

There's a couple contradictions in there, given if they are accurate; If current theory of the woman on the poster being Samantha is true, and the belief of it being at least 12 years or so from the events of Moon, then how would it directly take place after Moon/Nuclear Explosion? The only closest theory that I can see that would make since, that still is pushing it a bit, is that Samantha merges with a female body, and disposes of Richtofen's body (assuming the skull belongs to him).

The thing I'm disappointed with most is that CoD used to be all about making the war games based of history. Of course, you can only make so many WW era games before it's basically same shit, different day. But even jumping into the MW series was a brave stretch for CoD, but it turned out to be CoD's biggest success because everyone liked it so much. However, it was borderline "unrealistic" because of some events covered in the trilogy, but not enough to hurt what CoD is. I'm very skeptical of the timeline and story of Blops 2 because of that. It literally looks like Halo and Ghost Recon had a baby, and that's another thing; all the "latest and greatest" shooters out there are games like Battlefield, Halo, Ghost Recon, Medal of Honor and they all lately are covering the whole modern/futuristic aspect of shooters in gaming. And now that CoD just hopped on the bandwagon, they are no different, and that disappoints me.

I think the chat room got a little too out of hand, IMO it almost distracted too much from the actual activity on the forums. Either way, I'm neutral on having one again. I didn't particularly care for it, but I'm also not against it. I just prefer to talk to specific people at once through Skype.

Just so you guys know, you can go to your "Usergroups" option in your User CP, select the groups you wish to apply for and send a request that way. ;)

I'd imagine them doing something like that, however make the zombies weaker BUT double the amount that spawns. Hardcore = realism. And in most zombies movies/games, there are a shit ton of zombies, all the time. :D

That would be epic if you could basically import DLC (Zombies and Multiplayer maps) from one game to the next, especially if it's a Trilogy. Hell I already bought it once, why not just combine them now?

You forgot ex-mod, which I retired on my own terms. Just sayin. But yeah, they actually have a medal list with the normal size medals, and those are just the icons that are actually displayed. I think the way they got the medals here are just fine though.
