Hmm... I'm still not sure about that. I'm going to analize the radios a little closer and get all my info straight and see if I can come up with a balanced timeline as to when all this starts and ends from everything we know now. I feel like there's a lot of contractions in some of these theories based by the dates in the radios.
-
Well that's what I don't know, WHEN did they start doing that in Der Riese? By the sounds of the first radio on Moon, they had just discovered it then, and Maxis didn't want anything to do with it, but said it sounded promising.
-
Here's what I'm still completely confused about is where does the radios in Der Riese or the other events of the classic maps fit in all of this? Maxis basically turns down Richtofen's teleportation discovery for the moment being, and all these events happen of Sam getting trapped inside the pyramid etc. So... how did that happen in 1939, when Richtofen and Maxis supposedly were working on Teleportation in what I believe to be 1945... Think about this, I think Verruckt was the ONLY map that starts out actually showing the date and place, and that was 1945? so we can't say for sure when the events of SNN or Der Riese actually happened, but if the maps supposedly went in order, then that means all these recorded events took place at a much earlier time than when the crew actually showed up to SNN or Der Riese. Plus, in one of those radios, Ricthofen warns Groph about Fluffy. Which obviously means that those Der Riese experiments happen in between these events we learn that happened on Moon. Which leads me to another question: Did all of this happen on Der Riese? Or the Moon? Now, here's what makes me really wonder when things first fell apart, and what year the crew actually visits both SNN, and Der Riese. The SNN radio broadcast: "R-4808N 37 14 06 115 48 40 (1st set of numbers) "I hope your receiving this transmission Peter, if youre not then all hope has been lost You must know by now that we failed to contain the asylum and now we had to move the experiment here. The numbers will guide you. The giant must remain *static* all costs Repeat Der Riese *static* faith at all costs The DG-2 experiments continue *static* But we have an early advantage now Find Dr *static* and Dr. Maxis *static* they may know whats going on The use of *static* 115 is dangerous at best. I'm not sure if we can continue here. We've lost most of our best *static* I hope you get this, I hope it hasn't happened there too But I'm almost out of hope" 60 54 06.96 101 55 44.94" So, where's this fit in? Again, SNN's radio would have be another pretty old broadcast transmission. Now, lets dig even further. In COTD, in one of the radios Richtofen mentions that spies in Verruckt were found. Is that when they failed to contain the asylum? OR Is the crew the spies? Again, pay attention to the date. Here's one of the radios: "Entry # September 2nd, 1945, Dear diary, another day another failure... This time subject N3WP (muttering), The Russian subject still smells like urine even after he was given a bath, and deloused TWICE." That part of the radio shows that Richtofen began experiments on the crew in 1945. In another radio, he records that he discovered that Maxis is not mass producing the DG-2 as promised. The date for that recording was October 1st, 1945. I would really like to know the chronological order for ALL radios. The rise and fall of 935, Richtofen's master plan and road to Aether, experiments on live subjects (the crew), etc. I think that would be the easiest way for us to really get a grasp on what happened and WHEN.

Maybe they plan to stuff the zombies? :D
-
I'm pretty sure he says phase, not stage. But I'm not entirely sure. Makes me curious what 601 stands for though. Obviously, there's more than one group. Or perhaps an earlier development stage of 935. Perhaps they study/experiment on different things, and are just associated?
-
Do you have the plates put in place yet?
-
THIEF! Do we have the coding for all of the other maps? Or just the Blops maps? Could still be stuff missing from SNN or possibly Verruckt as well.
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Wolf_(Lithuania) Could be relevant?
-
And what's that supposed to mean? He's added more insight than the last few posts I've seen of yours... Anyways, it's still a curious thing to check out. Although it still doesn't explain why they didn't just use the new song. Then again, that too could have been a last minute thing, given how short it is.

That actually would have been a good question to ask at the CoD expo, whether it's a mistake, or significant. Or in the very least, if it means anything. (But knowing Jimmy, he would have just mind fucked us into going back into hardcore searching. ) Anyways, I don't think it's entirely a mistake. The "601" is definitely a little weird, but the Waffle round makes me wunder. (lol get it? xD) Edit: This picture was in that same thread with the loading screens. Apparently, it can be located in the Terminal for Blops.

Haha then I was just in the nic of time! Yeah, just give me the nod and I'll be sure to check.

Sorry about the double post, but I completely missed this. There's actually three books. There's another open manual hidden in the furnace across the bridge, next to double tap that also makes that same sound when you activate it. And I haven't tried doing anything around any other illuminati writing. I'm also just stuck at college all week with WaW in my dorm. I've been searching for new stuff like crazy, but if there's things you guys would like me to verify between the Blops and WaW version, post it and I'll give it look next time I play the WaW Der Riese. :)
-
That's not what I meant... I mean actually look IN that window. Right where the zombies spawn and that hallway comes to a turn, there's illuminati writing on that wall.
-
Were those hand prints really added? I never noticed that...
-
I can't post pictures, but there's some more illuminati writing on the wall if you look in the window/barricade just left of the PaP/mainframe, right next to where the zombies spawn in the emitted hallway. (Sorry if that's a bad explaination) I never noticed it until I specifically started to look for hidden writing.
-
Haha, and you quoting it just spoils it anyways? XD Anyways, I figured it was always some Russian scientist.

Have a endless gersch that emits a brighter light than normal and of all places, "glitches" right under Sam's feet is a pretty big coincidence, don't you think? I'm not saying it's another step of the easter egg, but something a little smaller like someone else said. Has anyone tried duplicating this?
-
Yes sir, that would be the manual I was talking about. ;)
-
I'm not sure it it's new at all (but it is to me! ), but while looking for missed papers on the ground, I went prone by the window with the Fly Trap and you can peek through the sandbags and see an open 935 manual.

"I've been waiting for someone to find me and become apart of me." (Become apart of me) "I've been waiting for you to come here and kill me and set me free!" "I've been waiting for The One."
-
Still doesn't mean we can't find little things that match with the story. Coincidence or not. Speaking of which, after listening to "The One" again recently, the main chorus also goes in line with the Moon easter egg.

Primetime Wine (Cost: 2500): Increases the period of timed power up drops (30 sec --- 90 sec), carpenter and nukes appear more often.
-
That or a zombies only installation/expansion that continues and finishes the zombies storyline, rather than adding one map at a time with each map pack. But, who knows. Treyarch seems to enjoy stretching out the suspense of what' to come next.
-
Wait, I have to get killstreaks to have perks now? How is that balanced? :|

The Der Riese Trap Designs, The Pendulum Blade Trap.
Undead replied to AlphaSnake's topic in Der Riese
That still just left me in awe when they admitted that at the Zombies Panel during the XP. Apparently Sam was a pareidolia in and of itself back before Treyarch expanded on that. :)
