  1. Too bad it's currently unavailable. Otherwise, brains for you. [brains]
  2. I hate that thief. I've never been able to kill him/it. All I can say is that when he comes at you, switch to a gun you feel less of than the other. Like, if you have an M1911 and a PAP'ed assault-rifle, switch to your M1911 before he closes in.
  3. Well, the thing about the JFK Assassination is that, even though we know Oswald carried out the assassination, he wasn't the mastermind. As for how he could reach Oswald in time, that part confuses me; I always had this impression that whatever was implanted in Mason enabled him to have some "telepathic" link of sorts....maybe it had something to do with all those numbers. The fact that a lot of it is subtle leaves a lot to the imagination. The presentation of the ending was at least creepy, and comes to a full circle of sorts in that a lot of the JFK references on GKNOVA6.com finally make sense, as if the whole game had to do with JFK, though it's hard to comprehend that it did.
  4. I loooooove COD:BO (and I voted that I love it to bits).....but I fail at MP. Or something.
  5. CODHQ is experiencing technical difficulties left and right. Just now I was able to post two messages in the Forums but now when I clicked the reply button on a post, I had to log back in, and when I input my password nothing happened. Ugh. At least there's always CODZ, right? :P
  6. @kuoguy Is that even possible? Aw hell I don't remember if the game was being installed when I first started the game; all I got was a message saying that Version 1.02 was available and had to be downloaded to play the game. In fact, I don't think us PS3 users get the option to install COD:BO, but I need correction on this claim because I only base this on how Xbox 360 users could install MW2 Multiplayer in their systems. @Nathaniel.WV4 Naw; it's not lag. What it is is a framerate drop from an over-abundance (or something) of graphical details being viewed. I experienced these events myself, especially when I was playing some of the old Nazi Zombies maps (especially Der Riese).
  7. Really? No, seriously; I didn't read any game reviews for COD:BO. I beat the game last night at 6:46PM CST and, as far as I'm concerned, COD:BO is incredible. I believe that developing a COD game is a "call of duty" in itself, and I feel that Treyarch went above & beyond the call of duty for this one. I should read IGN's review later at some point, but for all I know I think there is some bias going on in IGN, at least in concern to (possibly) which developer is making the COD game. If the COD game came from IW, the review will be near-10 on the scale, whereas if it's from any other company, it will be lower than whatever IW's COD's score.... ....what can I say? Even videogame reviews have corruption.
  8. What the f@ck? What's That Little Pr!ck doing there?
  9. Aye; it's been that way since November 1st. Don't tell me you all just noticed it. You are correct, too. "Henry Langham" is done for. But there is more to it, a lot of which I can't speak of, and it probably won't matter(?) because I'll be wrapped up in COD:BO tomorrow.
  10. I keep having that issue myself. CODHQ has issues as far as I'm concerned; maybe they should have disabled the website today so they can make proper adjustments....but of course that would've p!ssed off the community, because there won't be an official source to go to online so they can gripe "reeee-reee-reeeeee!!!1" about COD:BO and such. I did take a look at CODHQ and noticed that Theater tab, though. So how it works is that you link your account to it? Interesting......does this mean that your gameplay of MP will go directly to CODHQ or something? That sounds like a tough task that could take a toll on bandwidth totals or something. But doesn't the game itself keep a certain amount of matches saved for you to view? I'm considering recording my first MP skirmish, and hoping it will be available after the match is done so I can look at it and find some way to upload it to YouTube. :)
  11. You mean like airsoft guns? Those things can still hurt, y'know, especially those Japanese models (Tokyo Marui). Then again, I was shot in the torso with an airsoft FAMAS (a single-action type where you have to charge back the lever after each shot), and to be honest, it tickled. Still, if an airsoft weapon is being aimed at your face, it's pretty serious, and if you lack the capacity to commit self-defense by whatever reason, it'd be natural to stick your hands up.
  12. God forbid their copies are stolen though, seriously. That would suck.
  13. Gross1985 Feel free to add me, but please; no invites on November 9th. :x
  14. Why yes, in fact. These are things we tend to remember, no? EDIT/UPDATE Wow; this news isn't getting old anytime soon. http://www.ripten.com/2010/11/07/armed- ... dylan4422/ ....in other news and related to the article is a Top 10 list of hot asses; oggle up some if you need a break from this recent drama; I know I will.
  15. Maybe Treyarch should form a PMC to protect their "assets" against thieves next time. :geek:

  17. Eh, true. If Infinity Ward learns from their mistakes and takes from COD:BO, then MW3 has the potential to achieve superiority over COD:BO......but then again, every new COD entry seems to have qualities that surpass its predecessor, so it's something we have to expect. But MW3 isn't coming out until next year, so we're just going to cross that bridge when we get there. But I learned from a friend of mine that "Activision treats Infinity Ward like crap." Maybe that explains partly why MW2 failed in many areas? No matter what, Treyarch and IW answer to Activision, and my understanding is that Activision, or at least its CEO, is a real head-d!ck. Robert Bowling once called him a "super-douche" last year, too. And perhaps it was as per Activision's requirements that we not get Zombies footage this Halloween, no matter how hard Treyarch would try. But that's all corporate legalese mumbo-jumbo we couldn't possibly begin to understand.
  18. Well now; I found a T-shirt template and attempted a sample of what the images I made could look like on T-shirts. This is getting fun now.
  19. GK logo, white-colored for dark-colored T-shirts. GK logo, inverted color for lighter T-shirts. ''Call of Duty® Zombies'' title I GIMP'ed up about a month ago on another thread concerning the idea of a stand-alone CODZ game; I just think for now this would make a sweet T-shirt. Oh, and about the GK logo....I think the logo displayed is the one we've seen in the official COD:BO footage; it looks slightly different from the other GK logo I'm more familiar with (from HL's recordings; NO DON'T THUMBS DOWN!!).
  20. Make that......30 Yes, 1 Maybe, 0 No. I think that, in terms of gameplay and Campaign mode, this is Treyarch's chance to blow IW out of the water. Treyarch definitely put in a lot of effort into making this a unique COD entry, even if it's still the same, familiar COD engine. But in terms of beating MW2 financially, that I cannot be so certain of, as we'll have to wait and see after the game's release. MW2 made history, y'know, grossing over billions of dollars in sales, beating out GTA4 (if I remember correctly)....then as time went on, people became disappointed with MW2, so now they could be thinking twice about Black Ops. But then again, those who order the Hardened or Prestige editions get the four old Nazi Zombies maps, which you won't get in the regular retail version....a strategtic financial method, if you ask me.
