  3. I'm only subscribed to the official Black Ops page. This is real
  4. Went on Facebook just now. This was posted.
  5. Hit Detection is a bad player's excuse for them being inaccurate. And the gun balance in Black Ops was pretty good. Just that the majority of the weapons were a bit crap. I don't think they should've nerfed the FAMAS, instead they should've buffed the other guns. Especially the shotguns. I pined after a Staekout with Extended Mags.
  6. I expect to see some more stuff come around during E3, or closer to the launch.
  7. Really, I think the thing with snipers on Black Ops Zombies was the maps were too tight to deem long range sniping a plausible option. Apart from Call of The Dead, a lot of guns would be better suited for killing zombies.
  8. Reminds me of the staircase leading to the MP5 in Moon...
  9. I felt like re-editing the trailer in my own style to a nice bit of futuristic-y dubstep. I'm damn proud of it anyhow. Enjoy! CCM Qwz7oE4IGjU
  10. Activision wouldn't have allowed the game to be made if it couldn't have been. And IW tweeted out that they saw the trailer for BOII a few hours before it was premiered, so they haven't got a problem with it. Odds are, this is something that both parties are just gunna have to go; "You cool with BOII IW?" "Yep" "Good" And leave it at that...
  11. Get rid of Ballistic Knives. Replace with a Harpoon Gun. That is all...
  12. The thing about knifing is 1 hit kill knifing has been standard in Call of Duty for years now, and I reckon a lot of people would be damn annoyed at it taking 2 swipes. Press the melee button to ready the knife, and then carry it around with you, ready for it to be a 1 swipe kill thing. So If you wanna go all OnlyUseMeBlade, then you can! Sorta like Counter Strike.
  13. Wide open spaces... Means lots o' Zombags on the horizon... Grab your Ray Gun lads. We're back in business.
  14. Pretty sure Kino was based off a cancelled map from the last WaW map pack. And yeah, No Man's Land is based off Hangar 18. It's hard to see, but imagine the Blackbird in the multiplayer map coming from out of the hangar, facing towards that PaP Machine. There are massive changes to the surrounding environment on NML, but it is Hangar 18.
  15. No, they have officially announced 1/3 to be Cold War era.
  16. That's a point. I mean, if they put WaW Maps in the Hardened Edition, then that means we've payed of those maps 3 times! They did make the Moon DLC free for Hardened Edition users though, so we may see a little ray of hope there.
  17. I dunno how I feel about bringing Zombies into the future. While it would be great to see some innovation and a change of scenery and theming, it might not feel like the zombies we know and love anymore. That's something Treyarch probably thought about, so it is perfectly plausible to be staying in the Black Ops time-frame. Although Fenix's post is to be considered too. I know Treyarch's Zombies team are sticklers for detail, and almost every decision is thought through and planned out impeccably, but they might have just put an old timey shotgun in to add to the zombies feel, but it doesn't evade me that if it were going to be set in the future, they'd have put a futuristic shotgun in there. Nice theory anyways Jolteon, you never fail to impress
  18. Yeah, the Point Streak system NEEDS to be brought back, and maybe put even more of an emphasis on objectives than MW3 did. I'd like to see the Support Package be brought back, but changed around a little. I like the idea of it, I just think it was badly executed in MW3. It should not contain anything that will get a kill for you. UAV's, Recon Drones, the sort of thing that will help you and your team get kills, not get kills for you. Specialist is great too, i'd like to see that make a return. Personally I'm not a fan of Machine Pistols. I just think they've been badly done in both MW2 and MW3. In MW2, I could perform much better using a PP2000 than if I was using a Mini Uzi. They're too similar to Subs, but Treyarch didn't bring them into Black Ops, so I doubt they'll put them into Black Ops II. Maybe have something like the G18 or the M93 Raffica as the last unlock in the pistols category, but really I don't think Machine Pistols should make a return. Hybrid Sights are awesome. I love those things. ACR Hybrid Sight is an absolute BEAST! I'd like to see a few more new game-modes. Maybe get rid of a few of the lesser played ones like Sabotage and add in a few more. Kill Confirmed was a great edition to MW3! I think the Advanced UAV was more balanced than the Blackbird. I'd like to see that return. More attachments for Shotguns please! Same sort of amount as MW2/3. I love using shotguns! My first 2 Gold guns on MW3 were the USAS and the SPAS. I used to love the Stakeout on Black Ops, that gun was awesome! But really, it could have shined if it had been able to have extended mags! I think Vahn is on the right track with Sniping. From his twitterings, I think he's got it right, so I don't need to comment on that. Finally, please PLEASE PLEASE add a dash more colour to the environments! Part of the reason Nuketown is so popular is because of the colour range. Bright greens and yellows! I hate the dull greys and browns that are common in so many maps throughout Call of Duty. Widen the colour pallet please 3arc Art Dept! CCM
  19. Am I the only one who really doesn't like the idea of Vehicles in Call of Duty?
  20. YES! This.^ I swear I was just about to post this. Who cares about MW or IW? I hate their games. There is no secret to it at all. I mean, I know they don't have zombies, so the secrecy doesn't really come with the game. But they could have tried. You pop in the disc and flip through the options in the main menu, and you have literally seen all there is to see. The campaigns were alright, and the multiplayer is decent, but othere than that, I feel like I'm playing a paintball game with real guns. Very very sorry excuse for a game. With Black Ops 2 having a new engine, I have a feeling IW is a thing of the past. Multiplayer movements will be up'd and with it being set it 2025, the guns difference will not be too far off. I see this time being the best of both companies, And we all know how it will end in a battle to the death. IW sucks at life. It's time Treyarch puts them out of their misery. Black Ops II doesn't have a new engine. It's engine has been updated, as it has every time they've started a game, but it isn't brand new.
  21. Just wondering what sort of things you guys would like to see in BOII's multiplayer. We know it's gunna take place in 2025, so that opens up for a tonne of creativity. An open post. Multiplayer Ideas... GO!
  22. Yeah. I can see Syndicate as a character "Oh my good look a Zombie! I KNOW! IT MEANS RICHTOFEN'S BROTHER IS DR MAXIS'S CAT! I SOLVED IT! The Syndicate Rape Train wins again, yes"
  23. Just going through Twitter, and stumbled across Brian Tuey, the sound designer at Treyarch. You'll see him in the Moon Trailer. Somebody asked him when there would be news on Zombies. He replied; Now, what "soon" means, I don't know. Whether that's in thew next few months, or later on? I don't know. But it makes it certain that they're not trying to hide anything with Zombies. Their attitude with it is very much, "It's in the game. Expect news a bit later" CCM
  24. I know for a fact that the DLC Contract with Microsoft does end this year, so MW3 will be the last game under this contract. I haven't seen any evidence that they're going to renew the contract, or that they're not. I don't think they will announce that they have or haven't, until the old one is up and they sign for or new one, or don't. Personally, I'm fine paying £9.99 each time for a map pack. I really like the Elite way of doing things. Instead of 5 maps every 3 months, we get the equivalent of 2 maps every 1 month. Whets our whistle a bit more. The problem comes when you have, 360 Elite getting stuff, then PS3 Elite, then 360 regular, then ps3 regular, then PC. And then it goes round again... By the time the final DLC for MW3 is released on PC, Black Ops II will be months into it's life cycle! 360 one month, then everyone else the next, that I could live with. It was bloody annoying, but I could live with it. But the spacing of the releases here has been awfully planned out. I know it's not IW or 3arc's fault, it's Activision's. You could see every time 402 was asked about DLC releases that he was embarrassed about the answers he had to give, and it pained me to watch that man have to give an answer he didn't want to give to so many questions about MW3. If Acitivision care about the future of the Call of Duty franchise, and the community, it will make sure the DLC for BOII is release at the same time, for the same price, for everybody. PS3,PC,360,Wii... Different consoles don't mean full equality, but surely they have to strive to get as much as they can.
