He will not travel through the mansion but he has another path that he emerges from behind the house, I'm not sure if you can get him to P-A-P personally, I'll go give it a shot

I kinda liked it, It's old but I think it looks cool. -
The head chopper does not even swing if there aren't any zombies nearby, and so no, it does not lose durability while it isn't killing zombies. Makes it much better than the bass cannon, if only for how long it lasts That's good to know I have a camping spot I've become very fond of and I am thinking about crouching under the headchopper so it will take out any zombies that get close while reloading ect. I tried it with the trample steam but it was a bit too akward

I have a feeling the whole Maxis vs. Richtofen arc ended with Buried. The game resets all Side Quest progress after you hit the button. It doesn't save it. Obviously, this map will have nothing to do with our current story arc. I have heard people say that buried did not give proper closure to the N4 and the Ric/maxis story but personally I would be happy if they had buried as the final map and either maxis or ric gaining full power was the cliffhanger for the next game, the N4 don't exactly get full closure but neither did the O4 on moon. but the problem with that is buried was not the final DLC, I feel like ending with a flash-back map could not give a proper end to zombies before the next game, no matter what twist or shock is uncovered from the past, how can that leave a huge mystery for the next game if we know how the future turns out? unless the EE causes you to travel through time to "Present day", and we see maxis/ric preform some big final act setting up the next game, I dunno how I would feel about a final DLC set back in time, I would rather have the O4 return (Even just for a COTD style EE where we still play as the N4, I just really wanna see what happened to them before another years wait) for a map set after the events of buried, especially after the Samantha's lullaby playing after the final EE in buried.

If you are looking for a complete overview of the story over all 3 games then it's already done here viewtopic.php?f=100&t=18279 MMX's thread But if you are looking for a simple timeline then that could be cool, but there is so much, what would you include and leave out?

That picture is amazing, I'm just trying to think what all the BL2 legendary guns would be like in zombies
-
The W@W zombies is heavily modded online, its hard to find a normal game, same for the multilayer. Treyarch or activision simply do not have the time or resources to moderate a game as old as W@W
-
well that is... amazing On a more serious note the new possibilities in DLC 4 are endless now that we have the coconuts, Its amazing it took so long to find them
-
That didn't take long to move Well, no second pic I see Hopefully we will get at least one today, I'll keep watching around the 24 hour mark

A New Mauser Picture! + A code that needs to be unraveled!

If the gun did have some sort of special round that could be pretty cool, although judging by the flame-throwers performance in w@w I'm not sure fire is the most effective weapon against the undead. And IMO even if the map is set in the past before the creation of the ray gun I doubt they would take it out of the box, especially as they have just released the mark2 -
That's a really awesome find, I gotta go look at that and see if I can find any other bottles

Tranzit won't light up. Need help.
nayrcraig replied to feedthemachine94's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yup. Something went wrong when it tried to sync with Treyarch's servers. Luckily, the TranZit side quest is the easiest of the "Power the Tower!" quests. even as the easiest tranzit is a real pain in thew ass to do cause of the denizens, but then again I haven done die rise or buried so I can compare them -
Using the buildables in buried is something I don't have much experience with personally but the head chopper and sub-surface resonator do seem very powerful, although there durability might stop them from being an easy way to high rounds. A quick question for anyone who has used the head chopper more than me, Will it break over time even if it is not hitting zombies or does it only lose durability when it is killing zombies?

A New Mauser Picture! + A code that needs to be unraveled!
nayrcraig replied to Speedo Cola's topic in Research & Development
To me, even with an x-ray scope this would kinda be a disappointment as the final DLC wonder weapon, but I would love to see it as a map specific gun. I wonder if they will explain its origins with maxis further in the map -

sounds like a very good idea, I never realized the site had such a large following on twitter. This will be a great way to get new people signing up and get more discussion in great threads -
assuming we are following the same pattern as the previous two days I would expect to see the "basic periodic table" show up in a few hours
-
oh, I've never noticed them until now, is there an option somewhere to switch between "Clean" dialog and normal?
-
Just listened to stu's stuff, not much story wise TBH, the only thing I got is that he had his 21st birthday before the rockets hit although I did notice something strange, I'm not sure if it's the case with all of them but a lot of his lines seemed to have an alternate "Clean" version, basically the same thing without swearing, do these show up anywhere? Edit: I forgot to say this in my first post but awesome job with this Just got through russmans stuff, there was a bit more story stuff with him and the same "Censored" lines. here is what I got, (I might have missed a few lines): -Mentions teleporters -Mentions that the town became buried (So it wasn't built underground if we are to believe him) -Russman trained stu in fire arms (Stu also mentioned CQC training) -Mentions that he has been feeling de-ja vu since “This started” -Russman is over 75 -“Listening to voices only you can hear isn’t a good Idea stu, I talk from experience” (What voices was russ hearing?)

welcome, I'm sure you will like it here Although I'm form UK myself I would say there is a slight majority American there is still loads of people from all other places. Edit: I'm also on xbox GT: nayrcraig

I forgot about that, hope we can see one more tonight Where is this idea that the next map will be set in 1917 come from (Its not just you Zen quite a few people have mentioned it), these are just letters from that time. Did I miss something?
-
well I guess that confirms that these are not from the O4, even though I really wanted them to be. I'll have to go back and look at the first two again then
-
No, that is not what you were saying, you may have meant to say that or been thinking that as you typed it but what you actually said was The only person I can see that is claiming things to be fact is you. none of what you said, no matter how likely it may seem is a fact, and you are claiming them to be. In the past people have claim as facts that "They will never add a theater mode to zombies" "There will never be an end to a zombies map" "We will never have a map on the moon" But we have seen all of these happen, even though they seemed imposable at a time people have denied them since BO1 and W@W. Your OP was displayed in a rude manner, you comments are contradictory and some of what you said is actually wrong. I understand that when people claim things to be facts rather than there opinion it can be annoying and some of the things you mentioned may have sounded stupid and it is fine to disagree with them but the way you have attacked them I do not think is OK.
-
It's awesome to read threads like this as I love the story from back in the BO1 days. Fantastic job
-
Yea, Its something me and my friend discovered ourselves (Don't know if we were the first though) so it was one of the few things I have really debated about
-
Don't forget the astronaut zombie sometimes getting the name JDelgado. I've always been a believer that it meant José Delgado. It's cool to see them bring it back
