  1. If it's BO3, please please please let it be a prequel. Fuck future zombies.
  2. I would move on, never play zombies again outside of customs and would give up my staff position.
  3. Twas my boys birthday yesterday, and two sets of families are all in town for Easter/Pessah....my Codz time is severely limited last few/next few days :)

  4. Yo Hitman, can you also get Sallies to shoot either one or two bullets at a time?
  5. That's not strictly true with regards to degrees. Any job that requires creative thinking or design will be judged on your working portfolio first. If a degreeless person is more talented than someone with a degree, the person with the degree will be drawing the short stick.
  6. I have never understood why the use of the word canon has become accepted to describe zombie events. Where did it come from and why is it used? Sorry for straying from OP but I don't really understand it. Can someone enlighten me?
  7. Wow 3 1/2 hours to 100? How that's acceptable is beyond me, when I think the quickest BO map is around 10 hours. I love some camping myself, when DT and speed cola are worth more than jugg. When as a team you have to alternate shooting to ensure that reloading doesn't kill you. I totally agree about having to use the fastest accepted to compete. It makes me happy thought that I don't compete as sitting in that shaft on Die Rise even for 90 minutes would make me crazy I think.
  8. The high round community is a funny bunch. Certain rules contradict others, and they seem to be made based to suit situations rather than being consistent throughout. There are an awful lot of players who don't believe BO2 should have leaderboards for some of the reasons you state. Most of these players hate the Buried strategy of playing infront of Jugg as they say it's not proper zombies. They say that you need to run to play zombies properly. I kinda agree with that, however for Buried I've done coop games to round 80 3 times camping that spot, and camping 2p is very different to 3 player. Me and Boysta coined a phrase, 'running like a man' when Die Rise came out, and it was a little ironic piss take at how some people think, and their ludicrous contradictory arguments. It's amazing how often I hear players use that now in videos. The funniest one was someone who decided that the only way to run Die Rise like a man was to only shoot in the middle of the restaurant, not in the corner. I really dislike most of the high round community for some of the reasons I've mentioned. Others include the arguments on Moon about which way is legit to trap the astronaut, which is a joke tbh. If any way to trap him is legit, it doesn't matter how you do it. Be that (the legit way imo) trapping him behind an excavator, or the glitch to trap him it's just splitting hairs arguing over which way you do it. I say play zombies how you want to, it's not as if playing Die Rise or Origins my way is much slower than the other ways. I think Die Rise took me like 7 hours and 20 minutes, and I actually enjoyed it all. Same with Origins, although Origins playing the other way could be considerably faster. Maybe Die Rise is too. You mention you got bored sitting in the elevator in Die Rise, will that's easy to fix, go and do it in the restaurant. As you aren't playing for top of the boards, play it a challenging and fun way. I'm sorry but for personal enjoyment you can't say will that's the legit way of doing it so that's the way I will play it. The main difference between BO1 and BO2 was the lack of strategy making in BO2 due to some of the things we are discussing. The lack of traps makes a big difference, as does the way the wonder weapons work. Treyarch really dropped the ball in that regard, in my opinion. It's not the weapons, it's as much their map designs. Five strategies were being developed after BO2 was dropped, which says a lot about how good that game was. No-one really cares about BO2, for good reasons.
  9. Like BHS I can't quite remember. Kino was the first zombies I played and I have a feeling it must have been the MP40. It makes the most sense, that was my favorite gun due to location and awesomeness of it so I'm sure it would have been that.
  10. I have to just add once again, for probably the hundredth time on this site how much I love NML. As Gaga says above, the greatest game mode ever created. Please let there be something similar in Treyarchs next zombies. Failing that, please release BO engine so modders can make NML 2.0
  11. Some interesting thoughts here. To begin with, the definition of wonder is that it causes amazement, or awe, or leads you astonished. By that definition, all of the WWs listed apart from the scavenger and blunder (unpapped) cause wonder. A gun that freezes, blows them away, shrinks them, makes them explode, disintegrates them, makes them run into the water.....they all fit into causing wonder. The scav is basically a very powerful explosive, not too exciting and the blunder is just a shotgun unpapped. However, I agree about them being fun to use and all the wonder weapons are fun to use except the Howl in my opinion. But I have to disagree with what you say about the Ice Staff and the Sliquid. They can be used as you say, but it's only newbs, glitchers and twats who use them as you describe. For a start, if you try and camp in one spot with the ice staff, you won't beat round 50 I reckon. I'm going to post some videos here showing how much fun these weapons are, and why they aren't just about camping. Origins ice staff - there are so many ways to die doing this, not leaving camping early enough, or getting trapped on the instant spawners. Sliquifier - this isn't really sitting in a corner just shooting away. Those 2 videos show the only things I liked about Black Ops 2. The weapons could be abused in certain situations, but they were also the most fun things I found in BO2.
  12. Arguing over which is the worse out of the Blunder and Howl is like arguing over whose fart smells the most - they both stink at the end of the day
  13. Hmm, it's pretty good I suppose. But dude you gotta give some reasons if you want some decent feedback. Sliquid should be top, Thunder should be fourth.
  14. Or it's because whether you like it or not there would be an outcry if a AAA game allowed you to kill children, even zombie children. I can't imagine most people would want to shoot children, especially parents. I think you are trying to create a theory that just isn't needed mate.
  15. @steviewonder87 wants to wait until he has all the bugs and glitches out. In the last 2 weeks we found at least 4 or 5 which caused some really big problems. I'd much rather all mappers got rid of as many as humanly possibly before releasing their maps. As much as I like Leviathan and appreciate just how good it actually is, the glitches really suck(ed) and shouldn't have been there. Oil Rig is so good that the cleaner it is on release, the better it is.
  16. Thoughts today - if you call EVERYTHING epic, insane, incredible or the best, that's just disingenuous and makes you a douchebag.

I kinda understand it in some cases, but most times I freaking hate it.

    3. ZombieOfTheDead

      ZombieOfTheDead

I don't really hear many people saying epic anymore. I feel like that was more the mid to late 2000s, and kinda died after that. The people sayin that need to get with the times.

      Stop Mocking Me0

I only seem to use epic in online comments... Weird.. I NEVER use that as an adjective when speaking...

  17. I noticed this little gem of a response on @LiamFTWinter video for Leviathan last night. And it got me thinking, and considering. Everyone who is a sub of Liams will be a zombie fan, as is everyone who is on this site. Literally any laptop or desktop made in the last couple of years can run WAW, and you can get the game for like $5. This gives you access to a massive repository of free custom maps, some of which are truly epic in just how good they are. So I ask how can someone hold the opinion above that I posted? I understand people might find it boring to watch a YT video of customs zombies, but then all zombies is pretty boring to me right now. There's literally one or two guys out there now still making zombie videos that I actually like, and I like them because they are always crazy first room escapes. Talking with @steviewonder87 last night, he said something that was very true to me - people seem to not give customs a chance but will quite happily play Ascension every day for the rest of their life. I'm pretty bored of all the old zombie maps, and haven't played them for a long time. Customs has given my zombie playing time a whole new freshness, and I genuinely do not understand why people either don't like it, or don't want to try it. Anyone out there hate customs but loves zombies want to help me understand this?

  19. Hey Guys how we all doing today? The staff here at CODZ have been looking at doing much more regular streaming, and coming as close to possible as streaming everyday. We think that this is a good way to go forward with the site, and expand our presence in the community further. This also leads into the new game, and provides a good base for us to discuss information and trailers as it/they are released. This will initially start more than likely with staff mainly, but we would love to play with as many users as we can. Initially, I can see us beginning with customs zombies. How many of you out there play customs, and would be interested in joining us in streams? Can you please provide you rough availability, including your time zones so that we can come up with a rough schedule of just how many of you are available and how often. Thanks guys, Chopper
  20. I kinda agree with this. Most of Resistance is good, in fact it's probably my favorite overall album. Opening with Uprising and closing with Exogenesis, my two favorite songs certainly help with this. There stuff more recent is definitely an acquired taste almost, and I can see why die hard older Muse fans don't like it. In relation to zombies though, they would be directed in what they make. I sense all Muse albums are about Matt's last few years, and the mood comes through in them. Go back to his darker stuff, which Treyarch would require and they would smash it out of the park.
  21. Yep I've said pretty much the same before. Buried, MOTD and Origins are wars of attrition to start, and just not zombies. I wrote a guide on Origins and did a little CODZ video for MOTD. Whilst I enjoyed learning them and doing the guides, having to do all that stuff is just ball breaking each time. I argued with Dahniska on this when he used to say its easy, watch this kinda thing. Its only easy once you have done it 50 times before and know it all intimately. Whatever anyone says zombies just shouldn't be that complicated each and every game. I found those threads to link: MOTD - video is embedded near the bottom http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/154972-chopper-motd-start/ Origins - the whole OP shows the complexity of that crazy map http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/157871-how-to-chop-up-origins/
  22. Diablus in Musica - Sceneries of Hope The Butterfly Effect - Perception Twin I love mashups too, and think is one is awesome, I'd love to slay to this! Limp Bizkit vs The Prodigy
  23. They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us We will be victorious Epic stuff. I like some of their more chilled stuff an awful lot, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Soldiers poem and especially Exogenesis. New Born is my favourite older one. Uprising and New Born for the game for me.
  24. @BennetsGreen I never knew that mate I'm going to check it out. I last saw them 5 years ago on the resistance tour in Sydney. Its a shame if that's the case but God damn they were still amazing to hear!
