thought id give you a guys a heads up. For Platium Escapes, you for sure need all 4 players to leave before the timer reaches 1:45, also no player must go down between activating the nuke and getting in the chopper. In addition one player must be running all 5 relic's or all 4 players need to have at least 2 relic's on.

Beating the game with 5 relic's

I personly ran explosive ammo,body armor,mortor striks, and riot shield. 1 other guy ran 3 relic's and the other 2 ran 0 relic's. I recieved a HS of 372,899 with 0 downs :D. I have yet to play a game with all 4 players running 5 relic's.

Shields + Ferial instincts is a never fail

One fully upgraded mortor strike + a fully upgraded death machiene is a never fail.

Sentry guns are for noobs. And Vulture is only good fully upgraded AND THEIR MUST BE 4 VULTURES.

So far getting to the nuke is the eazy part. The fastest and most painless excape's are using fully upgarded death machiene's in parth with fully upgraded mortor strikes. sentry guns do ok damage and CAN slow a rhino BUT are not a guarneteed kill.

Ferial instincts, body armor, riot shield, death machiene, Mortor strikes.

Also just to note sentry guns are a boss ass class for all 4 players to run UPTO the last hive. IMO once you set the nuke off, those sentry guns are useless and get you killed. Even if you run back at place them at the points where the meators block you, they still fail and blow up. and you cant always pick them up and bring them with you to the 2ed meator. They are beast for defending the drill and stuff. but after that they are total trash, Also i do have to say, they are a must have for all of the solo people who have survived.

Here is the ultimate class for extinction mode.

Medic1 | Armor piercing ammo | Random supply | Auto Sentry | Grenade Turret

Medic2 | Explosive ammo | Armor | Auto Sentry | Grenade Turret

Medic3 | Explosive ammo | Ferell-instinct| Auto Sentry | Grenade Turret

weapon sp| Explosive ammo | Armor | Vulture | M27 Grenade launcher

This is the order the skill points should be spent for maximum efficiency.

Medic 1:

Primary Supplier: Level 3 Grenade Turret

*Secondary: Level 4 Random supplies

Medic 2:

*Primary Supplier: Armor

Secondary: Explosive ammo

Medic 3:

Primary Supplier: Vulture

Secondary: Grenade turret

Weapon Specialist:

Primary Supplier: Explosive Ammo

Secondary: Armor

*Only 4 skill points needed for Max upgrade i.e. Level 4.

Don't be a Tank. Armor is *****. Having 3 Medics in the team gives very fast movement and unlimited distance health regeneration on the fly. That's a life saver.

Ammo should only be shared by those who spent their SP buffing ammo in out case our weapon specialist.

We need two people with Upgraded Grenade turret to take down Hive #2 easily.Once the grenade turret is Level 3 it has double the ammo (about 25)

Other two should be busy setting sentries and traps and must guard grenade turret players and throw armor as needed.

*Vulture is solely to take down rhinos as it has armor piercing ammo upgrade at level 3. It is also nice to have when you are reviving teammates or repairing the drill or simply escaping death.

Sentries are also good upgraded because you can set 2 instead of one.

M27 grenade launcher can be used at oh-shit situations like covering teammates when fixing the drill where heavy fire power is needed at a given point.

When you are spare on points upgrade your medic abilities to Level 3 to avoid scorpion's annoying gas.

Then you can move on to sentry upgrades/Ferell instincts.

Ferell instincts not very essential but good to have.

You can safely use up to three relics while using this strategy.

This strategy is bit outdated. Needless to say but this game mode is very easy to beat once you have a moderate experience in it. It's still fun to kick it with friends and does have some replayability.

Here are few basics.

Must-Haves:

1. Try and go for Medics if you have the class unlocked. Protection against gas clouds and faster team health regens are plus.

2. One person must have upgraded Armor piercing ammo.

3. One person must have Upgraded Armor.

Good-to-Have:

1. Ferell Instincts are good subs to Medics. Be sure to get them buffed for fast health regen and extended (Orangy) vision time.

2. Upgraded Death machines are good for Rhinos during escape. One person can buff it up and can take care of rhinos during heated situations.

3. Mortars are also good to have but don't do much damage. If combines with Death machine this can be a life saver.

4. Sentry grenades can destroy hives in Half the time. Buff it up to have three times the starting ammo (30 incendiary/explosive grenades). You can use this against scorpions and these are very effective against rhinos. Only down side is its restricted viewing angle. Plus is it cannot be destroyed like sentry guns. Double tap X or (square on ps3) to move around with it.

There is a difference. If someone uses relics versus not. If you are using relics than getting to escape point can be bit challenging. Definitely spam out sentry guns for better defense against scorpions.

Im prestige 5 now

I prefer the medic class because not taking damage from scorpions and health regen is very very helpful. Also when it comes to escaping and someone has feral and your a medic. That makes for a really fast escape. Weapon specialist is def nice but i perfer medic.

Gratz. Yes Medics make a life more easier. It's not as fun as weapon specialist or engineer but I prefer running around setting traps with very fast movement speed with minimal shooting.

Classes:

1. weapon specialiest, pistol, explosive ammo, shields, sentry gun/vulture,Death Machien

2. Engeneer, pistol, explosive ammo, explosives, mortor strike, Gernade launcher

3.Medic, pistol, explosive ammo,team booster, shield

4.Tank,pistol,explosive ammo, feral,shield

 

The main key in class one is max out weapon specialest,pistol,shields, and death machien. 200 bullets with 50% damage? :D

Class 2 max out engeneer, explosives, mortor strike and gernade launcher (explosive expert :D)

class 3 max medic, explosive ammo,boosters and shield(main ammo guy)

class 4 max tank,explosive ammmo,feral  and shields. (melee expert) take on a rhino with maxed tank and shield. its awesome.(back up ammo guy)

 

If you run a 4 man team with each person running one of each of these 4 classes its eazy breazy. the sheild guys get in the rhinos face while the gunner and explosive expert kill them.
